Because She Promised Aleatha

Clinton fulfills girl’s graduation wish,” CNN and A.P.: “Schools Chancellor Joel Klein, who attended the school’s commencement ceremony at nearby Fordham University, said students should always remember that an American hero spoke at their graduation.”

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton fulfilled a pledge to a young supporter by speaking at the teenager’s high school graduation on Sunday.

The girl, Aleatha Williams, a campaign volunteer and the daughter of a supporter, introduced the senator to fellow graduates from Pelham Preparatory Academy in the Bronx as “my aunt.”

Clinton said she had known Aleatha “and her wonderful mother, Patricia,” since the girl was 2 and had promised her when she graduated from eighth grade that she would attend her high school graduation.

“Four years later, here I am with all of you,” Clinton said.

Great to see Hillary acting gracious and presidential. We will need her to step in when Obama falls to pieces this summer.

They’ve had their milk and cookies and said their nightie night prayers… making sure they remember the grand possum in their prayers. Besides, i’m sure there’s a star trek rerun on someplace. They’re probably watching one of those.

When are all you Hillary supporters going to send her some money. She looks real pathetic begging for money.

  • http://hyper-educted-uppity-woman.blogspot.com Uppity Woman

Imagine them saying that she didn’t mention Barack Obama. Now why would she and why should she?

Somebody needs to tell that guy that he is not the be all to end all and nobody is thinking about him 24/7–except for him. I am sure it’s a full time endeavor for that narcissist. As for the woman who reported this, she should be ashamed of herself for even bringing him up. Hillary made a commitment to that young lady when she was in the 5th grade–and she kept it. Unlike Barky who would more likely be feeling important enough to blow the kid off. I mean the audience was far to small for such a self-important blowass.

    • Disgusted

Obama wouldn’t have done it. He would have said that this was not the Aleatha he knew. Just like the rest of his past.

Yep and she gets some of mine every payday.

She needs to go into this convention as debt free as possible. She needs Barak to get on message and stay on message and stop his amateur foolishness.

For all of Mr. Uniter, he is generally pathetic piece of work, and Hillary Clinton will have to come in and clean up.

And he claims his arrest was illegal. There’s info on his blog and this blog which is one of his supporters.

It appears all the arrest has done is galvanized support for Sinclair and made people take serious notice of the arrest and the failed attempt to stop his press conference.

      • It’s Not Me

Well, since Biden was behind it…urged on by Axelrove, no doubt, I’d bet $$$$$ that it was illegal. They wanted to arrest him BEFORE the Press Conference and for some reason failed to? I wonder what happened? I’m going to go read Sinclair’s blog and see what happened.

        • Anonymous

Well, since Biden was behind it…

I support Sinclair’s right to free speech but Biden’s involvement is speculation and not a fact that we know of. It certainly is troubling that the arrest happened the day of Sinclair’s press conference and Sinclair was at the RBC meeting only a couple of weeks ago. Why wasn’t he arrested then?

          • Hope Floats

True. It’s not certain it’s Biden, but the arrest papers were issued from Delaware where his son is the DA.

Hillary kept her promise. I’m not surprised in the least. As someone mentioned, Hillary has class. Two important lessons for Oblah-blah to learn here; one keep your word, and two, you are born with class (see Hillary) you can’t BUY it (see Oblah-blah). Oh, and since you have a habit of missing the clue bus, BO, you pals like Rezko can’t buy it FOR you either. Hilary has it. YOU, Oblah-blah NEVER will.

As Hillary said: she was doing this work before the cameras were there and she will continue to do her work after they are gone. It is her life’s work, and she has been doing it since she was a young girl. That’s the difference. People want to project power hungry motives on to her, but the proof is in her actions and her history. And it will be in her future, as well. She is a true public servant and will shame all the critics in the long run.

    • ani

I miss her, too. And as so many others have said so eloquently, unless the DNC comes to their senses in August, they have dismissed and demeaned an incredible candiate, an incredible human being, in Senator Clinton. She is my hero, too. What an inspiration!

  • Obama Is A Fraud

Hey! What is that racist ass Clinton doing around those black folk. Someone call Jessie Jackson jr. quick.

  • Mandelay

Please remember Hillary in an important way by helping her to retire that campaign debt before the convention. Please send a check made out to “Hillary Clinton for President” or go to her web site for details. This is important as it will help her to reposition herself for the next stage. This lady has a history making role in her future and she needs to replenish that war chest. Consider giving up the cost of an extra coffee, or a soda, or ice cream, or a pack of butts or a cocktail and send a few bucks to “Hillary Clinton for President.” With millions of supporters all over the country, those bucks will add up quickly! Thanks for listening!

    • Hope Floats

I feel bad, because I got a letter from her today, and I just deleted it. I can’t think of her campaigning in Unity, NH with Obama. I looked at it as a letter from Santa Claus and just got really discouraged.

You know, That woman has CLASS!
I sometimes get pretty upset when the talking heads and their echo chamber mischaracterize all of Hillary’s supporters as WOMEN!
I’m a 46 year old male, married 26 years and the father of 4 children. I am a HILLARY SUPPORTER and I say that with Pride!
I am also a PUMA member. This woman has shown more cojones than most men I know and she did it with the class and grace of a Dignified, Intelligent, POWERFUL Woman. She is MY personal hero as she is for my daughters and my wife!
I miss seeing her on a daily basis, ( Television ).
Maybe Obamabamadingdong can learn something from this great American. Then again, maybe not. sigh.

If Obama would do the Honest thing for the party Unity, and step down. Clinton’s backers could pay off her debt in full,as she would be the person with the popular vote. Why are her backers not pushing the DNC,for this to happen. I hope her supporters pay off her debt before they send a dime to Obama.

I will not listen to what she says on Friday, and it would be the first speech of hers I will not listen to.
Sorry Hillary, I just can’t support Obama.

People please let us put our money where our mouth is and help Hillary retire her debt, if you hava concerns about the money going to the DNC, send a check directly to the Hillary Clinton Campaign in VA, you can download the form from clintondems.com, we do not want her to feel obligated to Obama because he pays off her debt, let’s show Hillary that we are behind her 100%. I mailed my $100 check today please do the same for whatever amount.

1 of 10% African Americans for Hillary and 1 of 18 million.

Snap out of it! Hillary’s not dead.

She’s waiting for 18 million + of us to ride to her rescue in Denver this August.

Slap some bacon on a biscuit and saddle up. You’re burning daylight.

    • NY still loves Hillary

More to the point: Barky is counting on our support for Hillary fading. Can’t let that happen!

Also, notice that while the “big O” is getting nothing but negative press, the only story in weeks on Hillary is downright inspiring and heroic. My grandmother (a staunch Republican) was the one who brought the story to my attention, and she was pretty proud of Hillary. That says a lot to me.

  • Linda C.

Look folks, I do want to interject some needed reality here.Senator Clinton is not going to challenge the nomination unless something drastic happens between now and August.

That does not mean Senator Clinton is “through” or “done” or is rolling over and playing dead.

Just keep helping her with the debt and see what she has to say through the summer.

I am disgusted with the party too, but I am not ready to give up on it yet. I personally would like to empower Senator Clinton to knock some sense into these fools and rattle some cages. We all know that Senator Clinton is at heart more progressive than Obama. We also know that Senator Clinton probably has more power now than she did before as long as we continue our support.

If we leave the party, our voices are silenced. If we fail to support Senator Clinton, then our voices are silenced. Empowering Senator Clinton is the only way to try to stop the effective take over of our party.
