With Hillary Clinton looking nearly inevitable at the beginning of the election cycle, and Sarah Palin making a huge splash at the end, it looked like a woman was destined to finally ascend the highest pinnacles of power. It was not to be.

Anne E. Kornblut has been a political reporter in Washington since 1998─covering, from start to finish, the three most recent presidential campaigns. She worked for the Boston Globe and the New York Times before joining the Washington Post in 2007 where she is currently a White House reporter.

    And now,my heart sinks. Al Gore’s tv station current just did a parody showing Sarah Palin’s picture and fake twitter page with the name, “Gun-Ho”.

    Now, I know Al doesn’t oversee everything, but this type was obviously aproved. How could they be sinking so low?

    It seems Mr. Gore is feeling his efforts going down the tube and is not focusing on where the problem lays, with himself and the Democrats for selling out to special interest, namely, Obama. And him breaking his word that it wasn’t political, then shilling for Obama. And now he has taken the last step before the final loss. So sad. Democrats are becoming sexists pigs.
