Our abyssmal economy is intricately linked to the kind of mischief conducted by corrupt entities like ACORN. I also wondered how much the defaulting of the countless houses that were illegally acquired with ACORN help, contributed to the collapse of Fannie, Freddie, and AIG. The collapse that was started in these entities dragged the rest of our economy down in a cascading effect. Institutional deceit, fraud, and corruption can have a powerful impact when magnified through a nationwide network like ACORN. Actually Wisewoman, I made that very point several ACORN threads back.
