Apparently, Bashing Hillary Means Never Having to Say You’re Sorry

Astonishingly, Father Michael Pfleger — the radical Chicago priest, a longtime confidante and very close ally of Barack Obama and Minister Louis Farrakhan — told ABC’s Good Morning America today that he doesn’t retract his ugly statements about Hillary Clinton, so repugnant that he was disciplined by Cardinal Francis George.

The Roman Catholic priest who mocked Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton at Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama’s former church says he regrets that his passionate delivery may have detracted from his message. But he stands by the message.

So Father Pfleger sees that the problem was his delivery, not his message. Really? This message? This “sermon” on May 25th at Barack Obama’s church for over two decades (until he threw the entire church, ministers and congregation under the bus too)?

    There have been many reports of people fainting at rallies for Senator Obama. I have seen this myself on several occasions. For most white Americans, Obama represents the first time they have seen or heard an African man speak to them. Many white Americans are transfixed by Obama because for the first time in their lives they are encountering a leader who speaks the TRUTH and who puts the TRUTH FIRST. That is power and it explains the appeal and power of Obama.

    If I were Cardinal George, I think I would transfer Father Pfleger to a church in Boise, Idaho or Salt Lake City, Utah. Father Pfleger seems to have a narrow view of the world and a messiah complex. He needs to learn a little humility. South Chicago is not his personal fiefdom.

    Obama is one confused puppy. Not difficult to understand about someone who seems to have a great deal of difficulty in defining who he is. His fictionalized history is both alarming and pathetic.

    He morphs into what is necessary for the moment or what he perceives his immediate audience wants to hear. He has no deeply felt beliefs about anything discernable. Thus he easily changes positions..even within 24 hours like his comments about Iran.

    His readings of texts so obviously written by others are in such marked contrast to his extemporaneous speech that one can only come to the conclusion that he is either psychologically damaged or devoid of any moral compass. He shows over and over again a complete lack of judgment and deductive reasoning…and yes, even common sense.

    There is only one recognizable consistency about this man about his short known history: His only..ONLY..motivation is to achieve power and position.

    Reflecting on those who surround him now and have surrounded him in the past…anyone with one iota of intellectual curiosity and discernment cannot come to any other conclusion that he has neither a backbone or the most basic ability to make a discriminating decision.

    This assessment is all negative for anyone contemplating for voting for this extremely flawed individual for the most powerful position in this country and of the free world.

    There is no excuse or reason to gamble on our choice. Shame on those who so willy-nilly are willing to do so and vote for this Obama anomaly.

    Hillary remains the only smart and responsible choice for ALL Americans and our country’s relationship with the rest of the world.

    And, while the President NOMINATES people to the Supreme Court, the SENATE is the body which confirms or rejects the nominees.
    So much for needing Obama as President. We just need to have 51 STRONG Democrats, who won’t cave in to a Republican President (unlike the dozens of wimpy Democrats who cave in to Bush at almost every turn).
    It’s obvious to see someone who either didn’t take a US Government class in school or failed the one it did take.
    And, unlike Kennedy (who served one FULL Senate term) or Truman (who served as VP for three months on top of 10 YEARS in the US Senate), Obama just doesn’t have the experience at the national level.
