Who’s responsible for shutting down a number of anti-Obama Blogspot accounts?

Cross-posted from my blog, Bloggasm.com.

____________________________

When Carissa Snedeker went to log into her Blogspot account Wednesday evening at about 7:30, she had no idea what would be waiting for her. She had created her blog, Blue Lyon, three years ago and up until this point had very few problems posting new content. But this time a message from Google came up when she visited her dashboard.

“This blog has been locked due to possible Blogger Terms of Service violations,” the message stated. “You may not publish new posts until your blog is reviewed and unlocked.”

When Snedeker clicked on the link at the bottom of the message she came to another one that told her that her blog “has characteristics of a spam blog” and, because of this, it had been locked. It allowed her the chance to send an “unlock request” but told her she’d have to wait up to four business days before someone at Google could review her blog and confirm it wasn’t publishing spam.

blogspot locked

“At first I thought it was just this random thing with Blogger’s spam bots,” she told me in a phone interview. “I thought that perhaps in their looking across the blogger universe, that I got accidentally flagged somehow. Stuff like that happens.”

But a short time later Snedeker received an email from another blogger claiming that a number of anti-Obama blogs had been “hacked” that same night. After some digging it became apparent that several Blogspot accounts had been shut down because of similar spam issues, and nearly all of them had three things in common: Most were pro-Hillary Clinton blogs, all were anti-Barack Obama, and several were listed on justsaynodeal.com, an anti-Obama website.

A “Flag Blog” link sits at the very top of every free Blogspot account.

If a person finds objectionable content on a Blogspot site or suspects it’s publishing spam, he or she can click on the link and it will send a notice to Google requesting “human review.”

I spoke to several of the bloggers who had accounts locked and every single one was convinced that it was Obama supporters who had flagged the blogs in some kind of concerted effort to silence them. But when I asked for specific evidence of this, most simply pointed out that only anti-Obama blogs were targeted — a fact that is certainly suspicious but not especially conclusive.

The incident highlights the often-contentious relationship between online Hillary and Obama supporters. Popular sites like Digg.com have consistently posted anti-Hillary links and popular liberal blog Daily Kos experienced a “boycott” a few months ago when several Hillary supporters left the site.

A blogger who uses the pseudonym “GeekLove” (she wouldn’t agree to a phone interview and wouldn’t tell me her real name) said to me via email that when her blog, Come A Long Way, was shut down she thought it was a fluke as well.

“I also felt a little bit humiliated that someone would think to characterize my Blog as ’spam,’” she said. “I had no idea why it would be ’spam’ I assumed it was just some sort of mistake. I did think it was an isolated incident. I requested the Blogger review. I then went to the Hillary Clinton Forum, a place I frequently participate in on line discussions, and I saw Nobama’s post ‘Blogger just shut down my NObama Blog!!‘ Then when other Blogger blogs were affected, I knew it was more than coincidence.”

Like the others I spoke to, she immediately became convinced that Obama supporters were behind the outages.

“I suspect that it was Obama supporters because I think the block was timed to affect blogs prior to the unity event so that we would not ‘rain on the unity parade,’ GeekLove said. “Also, Obama has ads out hiring people with no experience, except the ability to use computers. I presume these are the individuals responsible for silencing any opposition. His campaign has really harnessed the power of the internet and in the process learned to game the system in a way that I find frightening.”

When it comes to butting heads with Obama supporters, perhaps nobody has more experience than Larry Johnson. If his name rings a bell, it’s because Johnson, who worked for the CIA in the ’80s and now does military consulting, was the origin of the famous “whitey” claim. Not long ago he reported on his website that people connected with the McCain campaign are in possession of video footage of Michelle Obama saying derogatory things about white people. However, he admitted that he hadn’t actually seen the video and his two sources hadn’t seen it either. He quickly became a target of bloggers from both the right and left.

Several of the bloggers hit by the Blogspot outage also write at his site, No Quarter, and so Johnson has been watching the controversy with interest. Like the others, he believes wholeheartedly that Obama supporters are behind the “attack,” and he told me in a phone interview that his website had experienced similar problems a few months ago.

“We were contacted by our host in March and they claimed we were draining too many resources,” he said. “They shut us down completely. But when we went in to look at our site statistics it was evident that something else was clearly going on — we were the subject of some kind of spam attack that was putting a strain on the site.”

no quarter logo

To ward off such attacks, he decided to go with his own server, a move that he said would make it harder to shut him down. But after he published the “whitey” claims, he had more direct conflicts with Obama supporters.

“The problem with these people who had their Google accounts shut down, they’re intimidated by it,” Johnson said. “They don’t want to get themselves in a situation so they would be identified. Some of these people who get identified, the Obama folks start picking up the phone and calling. I had phone calls into my office, threatening me, saying that you’re going to be fired, let me talk to your boss. I told them to go fuck themselves, because I am my own boss. It helps to be self-employed.”

Johnson and the other people interviewed for this article all agreed that Google was partly to blame for the outages. It was because of the search giant’s “guilty until proven innocent” approach, they said, that allowed the attackers to shut down the blogs so easily.

“My biggest objection is not necessarily that these people did this, but that Blogger had the policy that basically locks you out,” Snedeker said. “In other words you’re guilty until proven innocent, instead of the other way around, and that was what frustrated me.”

“I understand the need if you have some complaints from people that you need to investigate it,” Johnson said. “But you also have to make sure that the person filing the complaint is legitimate.”

An email I sent to Google requesting comment was not immediately returned. Nearly all the bloggers who were targeted by this spam crusade are not waiting around for their accounts to be restored. They’ve flocked to WordPress and opened free accounts there (including Blue Lyon and Come A Long Way), and they don’t have any immediate plans to return to their original URLs once the dust settles.

What’s perhaps even more notable is that none of the people I spoke to is planning any kind of backlash against Obama supporters. It seemed to me that, for the most part, they just want to be left alone.

“While I am expressing my political beliefs, on Blogger it was a simple push of a button to mark my blog as spam and silence me,” GeekLove said. ” Pushing the button set me back a couple of days and I was unable to post anything during the unity event. The prospect of starting over on another blog was also daunting [and] I briefly, only briefly considered [giving] up blogging. Tactics like this work to silence opposition, why wouldn’t we expect more of that in the future?”

Did I read correctly that the Obama campaign passed $3 million dollars to Google? Would that affect their actions?

I’m sure that the Wall St. and Soros money that went to the super delegates (more than Hillary could afford) had NO effect on their jumping on the bandwagon as ordered by Ms. Nancy P.

    Obama Snubs the DLC

The Slow Death of the DLC

    By Taegan Goddard | June 30, 2008 9:28 AM | Permalink | Comments (0)
The centrist Democratic Leadership Council holds its national meeting in Chicago — just a block away from Sen. Barack Obama’s campaign headquarters. However, Obama will not attend.

Even though the Illinois senator has moved to the center on so many issues in recent weeks, he’s not willing to incur the wrath of liberal Democrats by speaking at the convention of the group described by many as “Republican-lite.”

With none of the Democratic presidential candidates in attendance at last year’s meeting either, it’s fair to say the DLC has officially lost its mojo.
    http://blogs.cqpolitics.com/politicalinsider/2008/06/the-slow-death-of-the-dlc.html

    • s. hall

Fred — Obama is not interested in the Democratic Base of women, white workers, Seniors, Boomers etc. Now he isn’t interested in DLC Dems. He must have a lot of faith in AA’s, the creative class and rich liberals — to throw away the Democratic Party’s constituancies. Or could it be that the fix is in? The only people Obama panders to are those with fat wallets. Maybe they are going to buy this elections for this ignorant fraud.

      • alibe4hillary

I think you are correct. This is why the polls will continue to show Obama leading, despite my belief that he is not ahead. But how could you steal…or buy…an election without having the polls lying about Nobama’s support. We are screwed. The fix is in…I have no doubt about that.

        • Ivory Bill Woodpecker

Obama’s lead in the polls may be inaccurate–don’t forget the “Bradley Effect”.

      • sc341

Did anyone read David Brooks’ (NYT) recent columns about “The Two Obamas” also the one about where Obama gets his money? Interesting reading.

They just want ONE voice to be heard. That’s it.

I think we need to look at the word fascism. This word gets bandied about so casually its meaning gets diluted (and a little meaningless). It is not just a word.

Don’t know about anyone else but I am very uncomfortable with this relentless push to Unity. Party Unity, Country Unity, Unity, UNITY, unity! I mean really, this much Unity just seems fascist to me and there is a reason the fasces have an axe on the end, you know. I don’t like it one bit.

Why do we have to be united? Why can’t we have our own opinion? Enough is Enough! Whatever the motivation behind the fascist tactics, the end result is still the same – Unity is not the only troublesome word being used here, “Change We Can Believe In”, “Yes We Can”, “We Are the Ones We’ve Been Waiting For” – There is no individual in these slogans, only the collective. This all seems very ominous to me.

This is a very good definition the the word, philosophy & history of Fascism.

What the Democratic party is doing now is pushing a variant of the Hitler’s notion of “One party, One people, One leader”.

We have party bosses trying to dictate whom we should vote for and if we don’t vote for the people whom the party bosses say, a great disaster will befall the nation.

      The party before all.

Its all very authoritarian and unDemocratic, the party bosses no longer listen to the people and instead dictate orders like a bunch of Nazi party officials.

The party of FDR is dead.

      • s. hall

        Check this out–Unity 08 is Bloomberg’s party.

Americans for Bloomberg: Unity 08 Issues Words of Support

This article was written last year and its agenda all but disappeared from the radar screen but now its obvious that the Democrats are going along with this and as for the Republicans — we shall see.

    • s. hall

caya — About 2 years ago prior to the primaries I read that Bloomberg had started this Unity Party. He wanted this country to have one party. The President would be in charge of everything and Congress would be simply window dressing. If you remember Bloomberg had a convention of his Unity Party last year and so many of the Obama supporters from the Democratic Party were there but there were many top Republicans attending also. Chuck Hagel was going to run with Bloomberg and then nothing came of that. Now we are having Unity forced down our throats–and Unity in this case means Dictator. Wouldn’t be surprised if Hagel becomes Obama’s VP.

    • s. hall

caya — This is an article from 2006. So the Unity Party was in the works since then.

This by itself does not justify any broad assumptions about Obama, but when you add it to the countless incidents in which pro-Hillary, pro-McCain and the anit-Obama blogs have been attacked in such huge numbers, not to mention the personal attacks and threats made to same, it is not a stretch to point the finger at the Obama minions who are well organized. Is the hiring of 400 internet junkees by the Obama people to be ignored in this monstrous attack on the freedom of speech?

Everything about Obama smells, from the internet brown-shirts, to the lies, to the associations, that no American should rest until this thug is brought down.

If this business is allowed to progress it has the real possibility of turning American into a Banana Republic with George Soros at the top pulling the strings on the puppet, Obama. My God, where the hell is the MSM?

      • Mark

Show me one African-American publicly endorsing McCain and standing with your group? It’s easy to get the others (Asians and Hispanics) on your side, though not as easily as before, with the scapegoat process….

“I don’t like living in their neighbourhood, so I am more like you…and we have a common cause against them.”, is how that works

That’s all you guys are doing whether you know it or not.

        • StrawberrybitesBarky

“It’s easy to get the others (Asians and Hispanics)” Anybody else think this comment is racist? Wow.

          • Mark

No silly…it’s just a fact that when looking at political and financial power sterrages in the past, some minorities would purposefully separate themselves from other minorities in order to gain approval by the ruling majority.

There are some that disavow members of theior own group in order to gain approval. These people were manipulated on an institutional level (if you know what I’m talking about) which includes not only the government but the publishing houses and other forms of media right down to theme parks. It gets deeper, but I don’t have time to get into this with you.

Do yourself a favour and find out who creates and publishes IQ tests for the schools, and what formative recreational industries they own on the side….that’s only the tip of the iceberg……

            Then play your spin StrawberrybitesBarky.
            Do the research.

92% of any ethnicity voting for one candidate is blatently racist.

Anybody who tries to spin it any differently is Obullshitting.

If they claim arent voting for his skin color, they are lying.

If you claim that 92% of an ethnic group is voting for him because of his issues and accomplishments which hardly any of them can ever name, and not because of his skin color, you are full of shit.

            • splashy

Every bit of that could be said about women, and how they have been and are being treated, for many thousands of years.

For instance, when IQ tests were first created, the girls trounced the boys. They scores were so much better, they had to alter the tests to make it so the boys would at least be able to compete. You see, the tests were based on verbal and rational abilities, because that was thought of as more intelligent. It was incredibly embarrassing to the people (mostly men) that devised the test.

So, they altered things so the females wouldn’t shine any more. In fact, they went so far as to try to bias the tests in favor of the males, to put the females down and boost the egos of the males. You males might think about that when you take an IQ test and compare it to the females around you. You have been the beneficiaries of “affirmative action.”

            • http://marcysmutiny.blogspot.com MessyMarcy

There are some that disavow members of theior own group in order to gain approval.

Yes, that would be Claire McCaskill and her Obama-girl groupies, the Lady Senators for Obama.

And I understand there is to be an organization of Lady Governors for Obama, with the Sebelius woman leading the way and using her forked tongue to make accusations of racism in behalf of her Messiah.

          • drkate

yes, a racist comment aimed at all of us. the race card played over and over again.

The overuse of accusations of racism by Plastic Jesus and his cultists will deprive that particular accusation of its sting. Thanks to the Oborg, whenever I see or hear “racism”, I now regard it as the warning bell of an approaching guilt-grifter.

        • http://marcysmutiny.blogspot.com MessyMarcy

You proved Perry Logan correct in record time. You can make your accusations that everyone not supporting Obama is racist all you like. After he chose to base his campaign on slandering Bill and Hillary Clinton, two of the least racist people this country has seen, your accusations are laughable. And considering the threats and intimidating tactics used against African Americans like Tavis Smiley and his mother, I don’t find it surprising that few are willing to make themselves targets by openly opposing the thug Obama.

George like that other empty suit, George Bush. Obama is the other side of Bush’s coin.

Barack Obama is a Democratic Redux of George Bush. He’s inept just like George Bush. He lies to get what he wants, just like George Bush. He’s arrogant, just like George Bush. He disinfranchises entire blocks of Americans, just like George Bush. He uses people, just like George Bush. He refuses to be vetted, just like George Bush. He gets his sycophants to attack people, just like George Bush. He rigs things, just like George Bush. He’s a thug, just like George Bush. He cheats, just like George Bush. He has unsavory friends, just like George Bush. He has a middle east conflict, just like George Bush.

      • Christine

Not just like, Obama makes Bush look good by comparison.

        • sfhillary

Okay, this is clinical insanity. George Bush has been clearly demonstrated to have lied in order to drag the U.S. into a catastrophic war that has killed probably well in excess of a hundred thousand people, including some four thousand Americans. He has explicitly authorized torture and a massive, and massively invasive, system of governmental spying on American citizens. He has driven the federal budget radically out of balance, which torched the value of the dollar and helped drive the entire economy into a ditch.

And Obama “makes Bush look good by comparison?” Based on what? What exactly has Obama done that is worse than launching a ruinous foreign war and turning the U.S. into a torture regime? Seriously. Tell me. Explicitly. What has Obama done that’s worse than that?

          • Christine

Other than innuendo and conjecture, do you have any prima facie evidence to support your accusations? Drawing legal conclusions before the matter has been litigated is not evidence or proof. Calling the war catastrophic is hyperbole, not fact. Read iraqthemodel.com, a blog of an iraqi student living in Baghdad to get a first hand account of the “catastrophic” situation in Baghdad. Your opinion that the federal budget is out of balance is conjecture absent any identification of the metrics and parameters and a comparison of those metrics and parameters to other industrialized economies. The value of the dollar has gone down, but it was also unsustainably overvalued. An overvalued dollar raises the price of American goods in foreign markets and floods our country with cheaper imports causing contraction at US based companies resulting in loss of jobs. Guess what, exports of American manufactured goods are accelerating, especially to Europe. Free global markets tend to balance themselves out. There are several European economies that would like to be in our ditch as you call it.

As for Obama, what has he done? Other than give a speech, nada, zilch, niente.

          • http://marcysmutiny.blogspot.com MessyMarcy

Obama does make Bush look good by comparison. At this stage of the game Bush had not done half the stuff Obama has. We just thought Bush ran a dirty campaign against Gore and Kerry — Obama has schooled Bush in what a dirty campaign really can be. We knew George Bush would be a catastrophe as President, but in all honesty did any of us realize just how truly awful it could get? There is no limit to the harm Obama can do if selected President. Can you imagine what this country will be like once the Illinois combine and all of Obama’s other criminal friends get through looting it? And Obama has, just like Bush, that same petty vindictiveness about him that requires him to exact revenge for every perceived slight. We may well be at war with half the world if he gets in office. And he has approved the spying on American citizens and spent his own campaign money like a drunken sailor, so why do you think he would not be like Bush on those issues if given the chance?

McCain is no prize, but he is an infinitely better and safer choice than Obama.

Dumbest Idea Ever: Obamaniacs Adopt “Hussein” Middle Name

    By Debbie Schlussel

Hmmm . . . more evidence for future anthropologists that America is getting dumber by the minute and that if Obama is elected, morons populate America in fartoo large numbers.

The New Obama slogan: “We Are All Hussein.” Why not go a step further and do, “We Are All Bin Ladens”? Or, “We Are All Mohammed”? This reminds me of the stupid AIDS campaign, starring Gwyneth Paltrow, Sarah Jess-Equine Parker, and other celebs, wearing face paints and saying, “I Am African”:

Emily Nordling has never met a Muslim, at least not to her knowledge. But this spring, Ms. Nordling, a 19-year-old student from Fort Thomas, Ky., gave herself a new middle name on Facebook.com, mimicking her boyfriend and shocking her father.

“Emily Hussein Nordling,” her entry now reads.

I wish these Obamabots would spend more time researching their chosen one and less time trying to curtail our rights to free speech.
I suppose that would require balls. They don’t have them. Speaking of balls, what is Obama so afraid of? He agrees to debates with McCain then goes back on his word. I guess he is still traumatized by the ass whooping Clinton gave him.
Boy, he sure is great with a teleprompter though. That should provide us a lot of comfort if he is elected President. God forbid that he would have to make a sound, quick, decision. “ugh…ugh..I..ugh”.

It turns you on. It makes you feel special. It has nothing to do with politics, nothing to do with reason, nothing to do with America or patriotism, and nothing to do anymore with Hillary Clinton. It has to do with your psychology, individually and as a group. You get off on hating Barack Obama.

Know it. Own it. That’s who you are. Congrats.

      • drkate

only in your mind, because you obviously have no capacity to look deeper. you are so, well, “elementary school”–oh, are you a part of ‘kids for Obama’, the brownshirts in training?

talk about hate. look at your last sentence. ha!

      • http://marcysmutiny.blogspot.com MessyMarcy

The campaign of hate directed against Hillary Clinton by Barack Obama exceeded anything ever before seen in American politics. You can try to direct attention away from that by calling us names, but the truth is the truth; and Obama is the practitioner of divisiveness, hatemongering and race-baiting, not us.

We do not want him to do to this country what he helped do to the south side of Chicago, and that is because we love this country. And that is why John McCain will get our vote — because when the chips are down, he will do what is best for the country. Obama will do what is best for Obama and his slumlord, criminal cronies.

    • kenoshaMarge

      Right there with ya Phil.

I’ve been voting a straight Democratic ticket for 40 years. No more.

I will vote for John McCain in November and not that unqualified, Clinton bashing, misogynistic little poser.

I own my vote. I will vote for who ever I choose to vote for whatever reason. And no pinheaded little troll on some blog is gonna change my mind.

Get over it pinheads, some us will never, ever support Obama.

I’d recommend putting some of these questions to a Washington Post reporter who just wrote an article on Obama rumors, and who is going on a chat live at 2:00 EDT today. Here’s the link for you to submit written questions. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/discussion/2008/06/30/DI2008063000360.html

I hope we can find out who owns Google. I think Bill Gates of Microsoft was tryinig to buy them. I know he supports Obama. I cannot believe how many in Hollywood are supporting Obama. I guess they are not as informed as many of us thought. They just listened to the hype and didn’t bother to do their own investigation. Of course, we small people (no disrespect meant) take it upon ourselves to become informed and find out about this snake oil salemen. Something didn’t sound right to me from the beginning. Obama stinks and so does the democratic party.

    • Caya
    • wtf

JP49, your statement “I guess they are not as informed as many of us thought.” is very ironic seeing that it is preceded by two uninformed statements.

“I hope we can find out who owns Google.” – anyone can find out by doing a quick search on the internet.

“I think Bill Gates of Microsoft was tryinig to buy them [Google].” – I think you’re confusing Google with Yahoo. Again, you could have found this out with a quick internet search.

Why should anyone listen to you when you’ve proven that it’s you who are uninformed?

      • http://deleted imustprotest

why should anyone listen to an obamabot who calls him/herself: WTF

        who are uninformed?

Says the guy supporting a candidate who thinks there are 58 states and who can never seem to remember where he is at any given moment.

I wish these Obamabots would spend more time researching their chosen one and less time trying to curtail our rights to free speech.

You shouldn’t assume website vandals are politically motivated. I’ve lost count of the number of blogs and forums I’ve seen attacked over the years. Most didn’t have political themes. The people who do this stuff do it because it makes them feel empowered. They’re mostly mal-adjusted adolescents with anti-social tendencies. They just have computers instead of cans of spray-paint.

    • http://www.thecityedition.com/Pages/Archive/Winter08/2008Election.html Jeremiah God Damn AmeriKKKa Wright

but sweetie the mal adjusted adolescents are part of the Obama Youth Movement…

And why attack pro hillary sites if you want to make a splash? Hillary is old news and is out of it as they say. If they were just mal adjusted and wanted to get a rise out of people why not attack america’s media Darling obama, that would get MAJOR MAJOR press coverage…just think!!

Yeah…see logic is a tough thing to avoid.

Often the simplest explanation is the right one.

      Its obama trolls doing it.

So nice to see the Obama team updating the tactics utilized by Nixon’s dirty tricks campaign squad in 1972. Of course, Obama’s hit squad was born much later and don’t know and couldn’t possibly appreciate how they are carrying on the tradition of the only president forced to resign in disgrace. Two weeks ago marked the 35th anniversary of the Watergate break-in. Now, we have virtual break-ins, photo-shopped documents, spoofed emails and assorted other scams that the Nixon thugs couldn’t even have dreamed of. A lot of those guys wound up in jail. Like Nixon’s gang, Obama’s thugs are so cocky, they think they won’t be caught. They think they’re safe hiding behind phony names. But I can tell you that as someone who wrote the traning manual on internet crime fighting for the federal government, investigators can find them.

    • http://deleted imustprotest

That’s comforting to hear except as someone commented simiarly on a previous thread…were putting those thugs in charge of the federal government. Are they going to investigate themselves?

  • SoldierofChrist

Pen soldiers, are you worried over the safety of our country? Afraid that our powerful hand of strength may be shortened so that we will be unable to protect ourselves and preserve this beautiful America? Then listen to what the Obama’s presidency sounds like http://www.macsmind.com/wordpress/2008/02/27/obama-plans-to-disarm-america/

Our strength such as our military, and Nasa have made our country the world’s envy, yet, Mr. Obama wants to disarm us. In days of peril of perplexity, when the seeds of our loin have lost their faltering faith and our clergies have failed them, they cannot see the gathering storm that is in the horizon. It is up the faithful ones and their pens to awaken the slumber sleeping of the ones who love our country!

      This still doesn’t make sense.

The #1 reason I became a Democratic voter (I thought) was that WE were NOT like the lemmings on the right and NO ONE could tell us to get in line.

      We were like herding cats.

How the HELL do DEMS now call themselves HOUNDS that obey????

IT’s like the UNIVERSE FLIPPED and I missed exactly what day that occured but I know as sure as I can read that I am NO HOUND and I don’t GET in line and follow orders (anymore).

Been there, done that and have a GOOD conduct medal to show for it.

      It’s so crazy stupid!

It seems as if the Democratic establishment looked at Dubya Bush’s–or maybe I should say Darth Cheney’s–de facto dictatorship and said, “Hey, that’s a neat idea! I’ll bet we can do that, too!”

      • http://marcysmutiny.blogspot.com MessyMarcy

        the UNIVERSE FLIPPED

It really is like that. I never thought I would see the day when Democrats would so openly and viciously attack a candidate as superbly qualified as Hillary is and when people like Al Gore would just stand silently by and let this go on. I did not expect him to take sides, but I did expect someone high up in the party establishment to speak out at some point and say stop this misogyny. And now they put out this “can’tcha take a joke, girls” shit and expect us to get in line? When hell freezes over.

Obama is a woman-hating, unqualified fraud and liar. I’ll never vote for him, and I’ll have no problem at all voting for McCain and hoping sane people regain control of the party during his term.

This is clearly suppression of free speech.

Remember several months ago when several Hillary sites were hacked and taken down and the hackers put up porn photos instead on those URL’s?

The timing back then to attack Hillary sites was geared to the days she was winning in primary contests. They didn’t want us to celebrate and they wanted to use psy-ops disruption to destroy us.

No thanks obots, we wouldn’t even think of being so low-class freakish thugs as you all are.

His google bombs as well have been going on for a very long time. Remember when they were pushing Peter Paul in every post and telling folks to google it because they had made the top 20 google searches all links to their articles filled with lies.

  • http://bluedawgdemocrat.wordpress.com BlueDawgDemocrat

BHO just made a speech on Patriotism and he said dissent is Patriotic. I guess he only applies this axiom to those who dissent with Bush and McCain, and not to him.

Here is my opinion on Barky’s young e-thugs.

Some of the bloggers may indeed be paid/professional bloggers…

They have no morals, values, and little knowledge of American history and the Constitution and the right is gives to peaceable assembly and freedom of speech.

But, the vast majority of them are just immature pre-adults. (17-23 y/o) They are bored slackers who have nothing in life to be passionate about.

Think about it. They are the instant gratification generation. They have computers, cell phones, x-boxes, wii, etc. Their parents are in hock up to their noses to give them everything, including over priced liberal arts educations.

They grew up with the CGI animation of the prequels to the Star Wars Trilogy, the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, the Harry Potter books and movies…of which there are no more to look forward to until Christmas. What else is going to fill their time?

They are interested in this election because they cannot differentiate between fiction and reality. The lines are blurred between good and evil…in their minds anyone who stands in the way of what they want is evil.

They have never been told NO! This is why they get so frustrated and angry and since they cannot change the mind of rational adults who do not live in their homes and have to tolerate their petulant behavior.

Unlike their parents, who relent and give them what they want after they have pulled out every weapon in their emotional blackmail arsenal including, but not limited to; foot-stomping, whining, door-slamming, and the silent treatment.

Since they cannot get their way with us as they can with their permissive parents they resort to sabotage and subterfuge to get their way.

An Obama Pod that I know personally, left home as a teen to live with his adult boyfriend and his parents continued to pay for his car, education and health insurance. He has a part-time job in a liberal setting and doesn’t have to work hard at it.

He attended college at taxpayers expense and has secured several undergraduate degrees, none of which will yield him a job. So he has decided to teach…YOUR children…until he decides what advanced degree to pursue. This is the type of spoiled, over indulged, hyper-educated-but not workforce ready, pre-adults that support Obama.

So for everyone who has ever seen a child throw a tantrum at the grocery store check out line and get the candy bar they were screaming for just to shut them up…

That child is now grown and sipping a Red-Bull, smoking a clove cigarette, and popping a Ritalin, in front of his or her computer and they are throwing a temper tantrum because you won’t let them have their candy bar.

    • http://www.dawnellesplace.com Dawnelle

      that’s the rumor they’re getting

I was LMAO and just said to her, “wait, watch, it ain’t over til it’s over and if BArry picks Hill I’ll eat w.o.r.m.s”

she didn’t get it (lack of knowledge can be a dangerous thing)

A Citizen Call for Candidates to Respect the Vote Counting Process
Premature Concessions or Claims of Victory are an Insult to Democracy
ALL BALLOTS MUST BE COUNTED BEFORE A VICTOR IS DECLARED

Candidates have no right to concede a race or claim victory if votes remain uncounted, if recounts are being called for, if allegations of election misconduct exist. Elections are not personal contests between the individual candidates. They are the only basis for legitimate transfer of power in our government, based upon the Will of the People. It is the votes that determine the winner, not the candidates. Therefore candidates have no right to short-circuit the process, but have a duty to the voters to respect it.

Remember the stylus “invisible ink pens given out in the caucuses? Watch the you tube. It was done in every state. Interview people in WA, IL, TX, etc and you see..
I’m not voting for Obama because he rigged the election..reason enough for me..

    Watch the invisible ink video.

Voting is not going to change unless we revolt for Democracy. PUMAS don’t back down.
History of Devastating Concessions: Will of the People Ignored
In 2000, many Americans watched in dismay as no U.S. Senator would join with the Congressional Black Caucus to challenge the electors in Florida that emerged from a chaotic and aborted election. Apparently some Senators who might have stood with them were persuaded by Senator and Presidential candidate Al Gore not to do so. In 2004, Senator and Presidential candidate John Kerry conceded the race in the deciding state of Ohio before the vote count was complete and long before recounts and challenges would be decided. His concession came despite his later statement that “There are very troubling questions that have not yet been answered by Ohio election officials.” Despite Kerry’s available funds and lawyers, it took concerned citizens and third party candidates to mount a campaign for a recount in Ohio. More recently we had the 2006 election in California’s CD 50, where election integrity was compromised when election workers took voting machines home for “sleepovers” in the weeks before the election. This flawed election went unchallenged by the “losing” candidate and by her political party. Once again, citizen activists mounted the challenge to the election’s integrity and outcome.
    Demoralizing Effect of Candidate Concessions
Concerned citizens who challenge suspect election outcomes have too often found themselves brushed aside with the statement that “The candidate already conceded. Why are you upset?” While Al Gore and John Kerry are the two most high profile candidates to break trust with the voters, candidates at all levels of government need to understand that they are expected to commit themselves to ensuring that elections reflect the Will of the People.
    Take Action
Candidates must stand up to the political “schoolyard bullies” who will taunt them with cries of “Sore Loser.” They must put aside their concerns about possible future political comebacks. They must put the voters, the country, and the integrity of our elections first! As a candidate, please commit to respect the integrity of the election process and wait to claim victory or concede defeat until ALL the votes are counted.
Mr Ilke still has a beef to settle with the DNC and FL_MI delegates count..there is no clear nominee yet and Hillary needs to stop stumping for BO..Respect the voters Hillary!Above all..NEVER FORGET WHAT HAPPENED TO OUR CANDIDATE OF CHOICE AND PLEASE PASS THIS AROUND.

        Thanks, Lou. My bad.

        • http://www.youtube.com/user/PaulFVillarreal Paul F. Villarreal

Ok, here is what I wrote. And I should also add from reading above that it may be that Obama has passed along millions more dollars to Google as well. Hmmm. Another Rezko-type quid pro quo for Barry?:

          .
          .
          .

Google employees favor Obama in their donations:

          elanso.com/ArticleModule/SsVmKzHlIsTgL9SiNiSiPAIi.html

Now, that doesn’t mean that they’re being any more allowable in their policies towards Obamabots than HRC supporters (I think the blogspot policy just seems to be poorly conceived), but it does raise questions about conflict-of-interest and fairness.

Barack Obama has worked the Silicon Valley crowd for some time (we all remember the ‘bitter’ fundraiser there). It is not a stretch to think that these people are looking out for him, particularly when you see the disparate donating that the link above lays out.

What Google could do to calm down the firestorm at the moment is temporarily (at least) alter their policy of ‘prove you’re innocent’ for spam alerts. In a little over 4 months, if they want to switch it back, go for it. The election will be over.

In the meantime, as Larry Johnson mentioned in his post on the subject, it looks like WordPress and other agencies are getting a lot of new business and Google is taking a hit in the wallet.

But if Google is in the tank for Obama as the donating pattern hints could be the case, then they wouldn’t care if they lose some business (the blogspot blogs are free and any revenue accrued from them is thus indirect) if they allow chaos to reign for those not backing Obama and their sites.

As we have seen from the Stalinist ‘Bamabots, many times the goal is not the building up of their own structures but the tearing down of their opponents.’ The Google blogspot Campaign of the Long Knives fits that description.

Let’s hope that Google and it’s stilted donations isn’t aiding that effort.

          .

Someone said that the timing of the shutdowns seemed to be around the fake unity event in NH.

I agree that this is likely the case, that a deliberate time frame coinciding with this event could very well have been the marching orders.

On the other hand, it just could be that the BaJoke Internet Posse just came around to the idea and would have used it before had they thought of it.

I will say this: The bogus ‘Hillary supporters’ (I think it’s bogus, anyways) who were spray painting graffiti, etc., in Florida story was, I think, timed around both the Unity, NH event and the Rendell HOUND creation. These three things would work synergistically and are attempts to marginalize those Dems (or former Dems) who will not back BaJoke. The unity event shows how we’re ‘all together’ for Ofraudma, HOUND supposedly counters PUMA and the Florida rampage makes — if you buy that it was HRC supporters who carried out the actions — Clinton supporters look like people you don’t want to be, thus funneling people to BaJoke and HOUND.

There is a high level of co-ordination within BaJoke’s campaign and it’s numerous arms. And his cult followers are essentially boundless in what they will do, as the death threats, posting of pictures and phone calls to opponents’ work places has shown. These people will do anything.

This is how they were able to take such a flawed candidate as Ofraudma and come out on top, for now, of the current coup process despite not having a majority of either Democrat or general primary voters behind them. In other words, Barry’s organization is carrying him. If not for it Teleprompter Guy would have been bounced a long time ago.

And that brings us back to the present and what we PUMAs have to do: Continue to solidify our own organizations, coordination between various branches and media outreach.

Our numbers are larger than theirs and we should and will prevail. We have come a long way in a very short time with new pro-Hillary/anti-Obama sites and entities being created seemingly daily. Much has been done. All we have to do is keep moving. If Google needs to be dumped, let’s dump it.

The Obamists are guerrilla fighters, they rely on asymmetric techniques like this Google attack or the flooding of comment boards in order to hide the fact that they are the numerical minority and, like a terrorist, to try to intimidate their opponents with the spectacular attack that overstates their might.

The difference between the BaJoke ‘Bots and essentially all of us is that pretty much none of us are being paid to do what we do (at least not directly) and many of them are. They have a boss who tells them what to do, that organizes their efforts. If they don’t fall in, they can be fired.

We need to flesh-out our own ‘organizational chart’ along these lines, too, if we are to be effective. There isn’t going to be a ‘boss,’ per se, but there needs to be synchronicity of efforts so that we, the majority, ensure the defeat of the Bambian FARCists.

Actually, it’s simpler than that: No matter what is done or said between now and November (or August), so long as we hold fast when we go to the polls (or don’t go), we will win and Obama will lose. However, from a maximization of resources perspective, the more streamlined and cohesive we PUMAs’ combined actions can become, the surer our victory in August or November will be.

          • let them eat change

Might be talking out of my ass here: But doesn’t the “lock out” give Google permission to “eavesdrop”. They won’t unlock until the blog has been reviewed.

If I’m not talking out of my ass: Doesn’t this issue relate to FISA?

            • http://www.youtube.com/user/PaulFVillarreal Paul F. Villarreal

Excellent question, ltec. I don’t know, but if nothing else then it does give a heads-up to Google (and thus potentially to Barry) as to who might be part of the ‘enemies list.’

When Barry flip-flopped on FISA the first thing I thought of was that he is thinking he can use his Stalinist astrotrolls to compile an ‘enemies of the state’ list if BaJoke it elected.

Scary stuff, but very much in line with what has happened during the primaries and is happening now.

              • let them eat change

I have question his campaign tactics and his reversal on FISA since he flipped on it. Wondered if he was covering his own butt??

                • http://www.youtube.com/user/PaulFVillarreal Paul F. Villarreal

I could see that. Or else, like a Stalin or a Dubya figure, he could just want to have the ability to data mine his opponents.

I think we all agree Barry definitely would do that. That is well within his warped temperament, IMO.

            • let them eat change

Meaning, the person who has the blog, could be put on a list that allows them to be tracked by name on any future blog activities they do. Anyone know anything about that?

Is it that difficult to believe Larry’s story? Let’s put it in context. Jack McCreevy, former Governor of New Jersey. Cruising at midnight, rest stops on New Jersey Turnpikes seeking anonymous male sexual encounters. Senator Larry Craig, seeking male sex encounters in airport bathrooms. Fromer governor Elliot Slpizer, female prostitutes
encounters during breaks while testifing in Congress.

Why do people claim Larry’s allegations are outrageous?

“To be honest with you, its not so much whether you believe me or not, as much as you hear me.”

What these stupid Obama pudpullers don’t seem to understand is that pissed off old ladies don’t READ blogs.

All this childish shit does to those that do read them, though, is harden their hearts and firm their resolve.

How stupid are these Obama people?

Based on their actions, I’d say pretty fucking stupid.

    • http://marcysmutiny.blogspot.com MessyMarcy

pissed off old ladies don’t READ blogs.

      YES I DO!

      • http://marcysmutiny.blogspot.com MessyMarcy

But you’re right about the rest of it. I have never understood what they think they are accomplishing with their tactics except to, as you say, firm people’s resolve never to vote for Obama. I think they are just such degenerate little jerks that they like doing stuff like this, so they continue this behavior in spite of its counterproductive effects on their cause.

    Transformative Proposals from Obama
    by: Matt Stoller
    Wed Nov 14, 2007 at 11:29

Today, Obama is throwing down the gauntlet on a internet freedom, telecom lobbyists, and on opening up government in general to the public. It’s some genuinely radical stuff, and it includes the use of blogs, wikis, and openness in government hearings. Significantly, Larry Lessig has endorsed Obama’s platform.
Specifically, Obama wants the public to be able to comment on the White House Web site for five days before legislation is signed.
Several well-known local figures are expected to announce their support for Obama’s plan, including two former FCC chairmen under President Clinton: Stanford University legal expert Larry Lessig and John Roos, chief executive of Palo Alto law firm Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati.
Roos, one of Obama’s top fundraisers, said Silicon Valley start-ups will be encouraged by Obama’s call this month for a clean technology venture capital fund backed by a whopping $50 billion in federal money over five years.
In the plan, Obama also calls for more aggressive government support of broadband access. Specifically, he says subsidies for phone carriers should be given only to those offering both regular phone service and Internet broadband to rural areas. To date, carriers offering merely phone service have been able to claim subsidies from the so-called Universal Service Fund, giving them little incentive to roll out out broadband.
Obama also calls for reviewing the decision by the Federal Communications Commission to open the wireless spectrum for competition. He thinks the FCC may not have gone far enough with its recent ruling, according to campaign managers who asked not to be named. He wants to conduct a multiyear review but is leaning toward pushing for the opening of some spectrum on the 700 MHz band so third parties can lease it on a wholesale basis.
This is to ensure that the winners of a pending auction for the spectrum – expected to be large phone carriers like Verizon – don’t just sit on the spectrum and not use it. Some fear they may do that to block others from competing with them.
Obama’s proposals are supported by Google, which is expected to bid on the wireless spectrum.

Good find. It always comes down to money with Obama, and apparently Google. Too bad those freezing people in Rezko’s rat-infested buildings didn’t have a lot of money to attract Obama’s attention and support. I bet then he would have come up with a “transformative proposal” to get them some heat and a decent place to live.

Does this remind you of anyone?

This is the kind of tactics that the Repubs use. How many Repubs have crossed over to Obama, encouraged by his campaign, and now are using these heinous tactics?

Kos, Huffington, others are all “reformed” Repubs. Notice all have gone rabidly for Obama?

I’m going Green, or Independent, unless Clinton is on the ticket. No way for McCain.

    • http://marcysmutiny.blogspot.com MessyMarcy

I will not hesitate for a moment to vote for McCain. It is the surest way to keep Obama out of the White House, and the thought of what he might do if this election is close enough to steal scares the bejeesus out of me.

  • http://mccaindemocrats.wordpress.com/ 30yrdem-not any more

After I posted on my old blog I got this email..

    Hi there,

On behalf of the Blogger Team, I want to apologize for the recent trouble
you’ve had with your locked blog. Automated spam detection is not yet a
perfect science, and although we are constantly working to improve our
tools, it appears that our filters have caused some Blogger accounts to
mistakenly be blocked from creating new posts.

While we are still investigating, we believe this may have been caused by
mass spam e-mails mentioning the “Just Say No Deal” network of blogs,
which in turn caused our system to classify the blog addresses mentioned
in the e-mails as spam. Regardless, we have restored posting rights to
your blog, and it is very important to us that Blogger remain a tool for
    political debate and free expression.

So once again, we apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you for your
patience as we looked into the problem.

    Sincerely,
    The Blogger Team

I know this sounds very strange (or paranoid) I have lost all my Google Adsense accounts about the first time I started posting on this site. about a couple of weeks ago. I own 14 sites and I have not made changes for months.

I was making about 100 a month on all my websites.(If you own websites you will know what I am talking about.) I don’t check it every day so I just checked it. (It is disabled with no info given) and they will not tell me, be careful if you have Adsense.

If this has happened to you please let me know
I have a Adsense for about a year.

I just finish reading Savage politics and the latest story, is about CNN warning McCain not to support the sight.

I wonder could we turn the table on these idiots who seems to have forgotten the first amendment. Why don’t we try to spam a few of the Pro Obama’s sites. What I’ve noticed from Obama and his supporters is that they can dish but they get all whinny when they have to take it. So let’s dish.

I suspect that many online dirty tricks have been used by Obama supporters, for in addition to the never ending avalanche of nasty sarcastic posts from pro Obama bloggers … the unprecedented online fund raising by the Obama camp … the online dominance by several pro Obama websites, like Huffington … and, this recent blocking of anti-Obama bloggers, several times, when I posted anti-Obama, Pro Clinton, pro McCain posts to sites who guranteed the aminitiy of my email address … I ended up getting hundreds and hundreds of pieces of spam in my mail box shortly after each time I posted.

Obama wants to give a free ride to free-loaders. Equal opportunity is created by doing, not by taking. Enough of beating up on small business and putting the burden on the people who have worked hard to get ahead – hats off to all of those who got out of poverty like I did and rose above because I worked for a living starting at 13. I only got to go to college for a short time because we couldn’t afford it – no programs because of my skin color -no handouts – I now own many homes and a business and am paying for my children to go to college. Anyone can do it. I had 6 brothers and one sister – and no dad, he died when I was a toddler. Quit looking for the Obama HANDOUT ticket and pull up your bootstraps and get to work. Quit looking for equality in gay civil unions if marriage is denied. I never got a benefit handout for having a girlfriend! It just doesn’t work that way. Quit being tolerant of what you know isn’t right. Raise your children to say yes ma’am and no sir. Tell them my name isn’t Mr. Bob, but Mr. Smith. Teach your children to respect themselves and abstain from sex so they won’t be faced with the horror of abortion or raising a child before they reach their own full potential in life! Stand against injustice and racism. Just don’t stand up for Obama – he just isn’t the man people think he is. Our country is headed into moral decline and he will take it to the next level with his racist, liberal views. Stand against injustice my fellow Americans – stand against the ability to justify injustice under an Obama presidency.

This is called exercising your first amendment rights … if you have a problem with that, I’m sure Obama’s cousin in Kenya would be glad to take you in, of course, you’d have to be a committed Muslim first. Would it both you if lost that constitutional right also? Not having to tow the line on a state religion? Because, I’m sure Kim Jong Il would be glad to have you. Let’s see, Fidel Castro likes Obama and suppresses dissent, maybe Cuba is more your style? There’s always Libya and Gaddafi …. heck, you Obama folks have a lot of friends among repressive regimes… just choose one!

Is that not EXACTLY what Obama’s camp did to McCain? Why yes it is, and he was born to two American Citizen on a United States Military Base. How about those passports that were messed with only to find out it was Obama’s security team messing with them? Just what were they looking for or changing on Obama’s passport? No more on that one. No follow-up nothing, just silence from the MSM after reporting on it. Obama supporters are not a cult. They’re the borg. Forced assimilation.

FISA comes to mind…Oh I forgot, that`s OK now, because Barky changed his little mind.

  • alibe4hillary

When you get a passport, you need an ORIGINAL of your birth certificate. Surely, the Office of President requires more scrutiny than getting a passport. It has nothing to do with innocence or guilt. The roolz are the roolz. There are rules and qualifications to being a President. And he needs to show his birth certificate to show he qualifies as a natural born citizen. He has shown himself to be a liar big time. I don’t think any presumption should apply when it concerns Nobama. His whole life appears to be spin or a lie. And it would not surprise me his birth certificate is not what we would expect.
