It remoinds me of “Jesus Camp.” one of the scariest documentaries ever made. (And, by the way, I am a Christian by heritage and fully respect Christianity, but this documentary was something else again!)

Its a school in South Jersey.

If I was the parent of one of those innocent children who do not know what they are saying (the worst kind of indoctrination–to use vulnerable children for political purposes)I would stand outside of that school until that teacher and anyone else who condoned this was fired. If Cindy Shehan could camp out down the road from Bush’s ranch in Texas isn’t ther any other parent who is willing to stand up to this horror?

If this was done at a school my children or grandchildren attended, I’d be down there in a hot minute and by the time I was through that teacher would be gone.

You just described Sarah Palin as the solution. Lily fingered Ivy leagers didn’t build this country. Callused, bleeding hands built this country. The original poster claims this is a Father’s Day tribute to Obama while the school is claiming it was just a Black History Month activity.

Since June 19 is a Friday and Father’s Day occured on Sunday, June 21. It would seem the YouTube date is correct and Dr. Manno is playing the race card to cover for the video.

I just heard this AM that the teacher in question is claiming the children wrote the lyrics themselves, including “equal work for equal pay”. I know all the kids in my neighborhood are concerned with parity in the workplace.

My initial reaction is that this is propaganda aimed at children, but now there are reports that the class was celebrating Black History Month.

You’re absolutely right. My point simply is that “liberals” who find nothing wrong with this video and try to say that it’s a song to celebrate our president, would go nuts if it were Bush. However, for talent shows and duos with her mom in school, all music must be secular.

I am seeing a big niche for Fox. They should commit certain of the shows to being Obama free. Put out a pledge that short of an actual national emergency the regular programming won’t be preempted for a presidential news conference. Seeing that they are several time a day events now anyway, this is not so far out. For crying out loud, don’t people deserve some modicum of self determination? Or, do we all have to worship at the same altar now?

I won’t however, allow her to remove my ability to discern, she is an individual and not a representative of anyone other than herself; none of us can afford to do that to others.

I am agreement with most on here that I do not think we should not hero worship ANY president. But aren’t we laying on the outrage a bit thick here?

What is the lesson in this little chant for the kids? One could argue that if the kids sang praises of Dubya keeping the country safe, it would be fine as well? Keep this shit out of the schools!
