Unity Without Impunity

Despite all the talk of unity things aren’t all that unified across the country. A new phenomenon is occurring. Politicians that backed Hillary Clinton are now facing challenges by those who want to punish the people that supported her. Even John Lewis who changed his endorsement to Obama under duress is not immune.

A New Campaign Charge: You Supported Clinton

In Georgia, Representative John Lewis, a prominent civil rights leader, is facing primary challenges from two black candidates who have been critical of him for backing Mrs. Clinton for months before shifting to Mr. Obama. To underscore the point, one of the challengers set up his headquarters in the same building that served as Mr. Obama’s office for the primary.

So when Jesse Jackson Jr. threatened to find someone to run against him if he didn’t endorse Obama what he really meant was that he was going to find someone to run against him because he took too long to endorse Obama. Typical thuggish behavior. These folks are into command and control. Big time.

Another New Yorker, Representative Gregory W. Meeks of Queens, faces a primary opponent who has sought to make an issue of Mr. Meeks’s support of the Clinton campaign in a district, New York’s 6th, where Mr. Obama drew nearly 56 percent of the vote.

The man seeking Mr. Meeks’s seat is Ruben Wills, 36, a former chief of staff for State Senator Shirley L. Huntley and an organizer for Mr. Obama in southeast Queens. “I was on board with Obama from Day 1,” Mr. Wills said. “Meeks had to be dragged across the line.”

Some take their thuggery to new heights. Or perhaps lows would be a more correct description. And they are concentrating that hate on one particular Congressman, Edolphus Towns of Brooklyn. They claim that black people supported Hillary because they were ashamed of being black.

To her, the reason black leaders like Mr. Towns stuck with Mrs. Clinton was obvious. “Racial self-hatred,” said Ms. Queen, who is black. “It was as if they were saying: ‘We people of color are not ready yet. We’re not ready to be in the White House.’ Self-hatred does that to you.”

For his part, Towns made his decision to support Hillary based upon normal rational thinking and a little something called loyalty. A moral quality that these Obama thugs care nothing about. They would have to have morals to appreciate it.

“I serve in the Congressional Black Caucus, and he is a member,” he said. “But Hillary Clinton represents New York State, and I’ve worked together with her on many projects.”

So where will this lead? I cannot begin to guess. Because every single day something new surfaces about these thugs and their Chicago style of politics. But one thing is for certain. They will find more creative ways to intimidate people that do not share their views. Because that is just the way they roll.

  • ginaswo still says no to Uhhbama

I am sorry but frankly folks who couldnt stand by the right choice or didnt have the courage of their convictions after years of brutality like Lewis went through, to allow people to call him Uncle Tom, and ot go on tv to the CBC stopping it dead in it stracks in the beginning, helped let this get to this point. They had to KNOW this was coming, Uhhbama ran a thug campaign, many of his supporters are in large part thugs, see the Troll boyz here, and obviously cannot be trusted to keep their word on anything..

If you would sell your political soul to keep your seat, they know you are for sale and caved under pressure, they only want their bought and paid for people in those seats

    the purges have begun

they should flip back to the REAL THING BABY
    CLINTON CLASSIC, Hillary…..

  • candymarl

John Lewis? John Lewis??? If this is Obama’s idea of support for a civil right’s leader, count me out. Civil rights my ass. These people are scary. It appears they want a party full of elected officials that are only loyal to Obama. We lived through that with Bush. I don’t care which party does things like this. This is JUST WRONG.

  • wac for hillary

Where is Jesse Jackson Sr. in all of this? Does he support the actions of his son and others like him who seem not to care about the sacrifices people like John Lewis made on their behalf? It seems like they aren’t even bothering to run on serious issues; their only issue is that they supported Obama and the incumbents didn’t “hop to” quick enough.

  • ginaswo still says no to Uhhbama

    poor Greg Meeks

he was a GREAT supporter and he IS a great congressman to that district

Hill stepped down after RANGEL promised her their seats would be safe, now they go after them anyway??

    come on Hill

  • lorelynn

People mounting challenges is not the same as the campaign threatening seated officials with challenges if they don’t vote for the candidate in question. And Jesse Jackson Jr. threatened Democratic officieholders with in primary challenges in Obama’s name on national television without a peep from the candidate.

Normally, a candidate wouldnt’ do that because he’d be worried about alienating the supporters of the other candidate, and concerned with having the pol’s support should he win the election. Obama seems to have no concern or respect for the idea that people might legitimately support someone other than him, and that they have a moral right to do so. he’s not concerned with getting the support of other candidates and their supporters.

  • ginaswo still says no to Uhhbama

    hey realdemocrat

if you think it is okay to fight a fellow DEM for their seat cause they were black and wouldnt back the black candidate that make you uhmmm whats the word oh yeah racist.

  • candymarl

Hillary also put her life on the line, in the south, in the sixties, to register blacks and hispanics to vote.

That was a decision that could get you killed. Some people were killed. But perhaps you don’t remember that. I do.

  • K. Wynne

    ginaswo,

You hit a bullseye! What brought about this horrific nightmare of a primary was the willingness of so many to sell their souls in order to keep their seat! They sold out democracy.

Now, it’s up to the PUMA coalition to fight to take it back.

  • roseeriter

If Florida and Michigan were counted as the vote laid out, Obama wouldn’t have anywhere near the lead to claim he was the presumptive nominee. We don’t recognize him as someone who won legitimately. You can insist that he did until the cows come home. We think you’re brainwashed and cannot reason.

  • Keir

I spent time last night writing a letter to the editors of small local newspapers. I want to encourage other people to do this. We have to reach people who are not online or do not realize that TV news is propaganda. I included 10 points about the negatives of Obama and am suggesting in my letter that people visit “No Quarter” and Just Say No deal” online. I know that a few of my neighbors are vets and when I stopped over to chat with them about “McCain as traitor” they became outraged.

  • wac for hillary

That’s what makes me sick. These congressmen have worked their heads off for their constituents, and the thanks they get is a knife in the back from Obamabots drunk with power. If the people in these districts aren’t careful, they will wind up with representatives who don’t give a flying fig about them. I almost want to say it will serve them right, but unfortunately, there are a lot of innocent people who could be the real losers in this mess.

  • Perry Logan

I think I can clear that up for you.

They are punishing someone for their past endorsement, which is thuggish.

We’re trying to stop an illegitimate candidate, which is the only right thing to do. Country before party, don’t you know.

Two at a Time: Saving the Dems and GOP with One Vote

  • Nicole

No it’s not–god, that’s a stretch obamabot! It’s apples and oranges, don’t try and excuse the behaviour. Hillary’s campaign never applied such pressure to candidates endorsing Obama. However, the thuggish Obama campaign operatives applied nasty pressure to Reps like Lewis to switch support, threatening them with the spectre of backing challengers.

PUMAs are simply voters doing what they should do; making their reps accountable (and REPRESENTATIVE).

On another note, it’s great to see some Democrats finally coming to their senses.

So you’re talking point is that Hussein Obama is just another typical politician?

    Great point there bro!

  • Perry Logan

There’s also the fact that Obama has flip-flopped a zillion times in just a few months. He’s like a turbine engine.

  • Michelle

So these Congressmen chose to back the candidate who would bring real hope and healing for the black community and are now getting punished for it. That is so retarded on so many levels, especially since Clinton didn’t even get the nomination.
    Fuck you Jesse Jackson Jr.

  • http://deleted imustprotest

,” Mr. Wills said. “Meeks had to be dragged across the line.”

Dragged across the line to support oblhama sounds pretty thuggish to me.

  • http://marcysmutiny.blogspot.com MessyMarcy

I’m not surprised that an Obama supporter would dispute that The Messiah and his Obamabutts are guilty of thuggishness, because to you these tactics are just standard operating procedure. Making false accusations and using bullying tactics are what got Obama selected as nominee (well, that and the little matter of disenfranchisement and stealing delegates), so why stop doing it now?

For Obama to have his supporters accuse John Lewis or any of the other AA officeholders that are now in their sights of being Uncle Toms and suffering from self-hatred just shows how despicable Obama is. Barack Obama is not worthy of being in the same room as John Lewis. If the civil rights movement had had to depend on a cowardly flip-flopper like Obama to fight for it, AAs would still be paying poll taxes, having to take literacy tests before voting, and drinking from separate water fountains.

I have never in my life seen anything as dastardly in campaigning as the race-baiting attacks on people like Bill and Hillary Clinton, John Lewis, and now apparently on any AA person who supported her.

It will be no problem for me to vote for John McCain over Barack Obama. McCain’s qualifications and integrity make Obama look like the hypocritical, sleazy, inadequate, amoral conman that he indeed is. But the more of this stuff that comes out of the Obama campaign, I swear I could at this point even vote for Mike Huckabee over that SOB.

  • NoObamislamists

Well, we could do what DailyKos does and just ban your account and forbid you from posting here.

I have no pity for people like Lewis and all those black leaders that left Hillary in the cold when Obama came on the scene, so what ever befalls them now the bought it hook, line and sinker.

Yes, but he would have gotten the lead much latter on, specifically in the last two weeks. AND the media couldn’t have claimed he had this HUGE lead over clinton. Thus you wouldn’t have had them calling for her to quit after super tuesday.

They won’t care about a handful delegates when the person with the slight lead didn’t win big blue states. Don’t delude yourself. He hasn’t legitimately won this nomination.

The unconditional support of Obama by so many black people is ultimately self-destructive. After Obama loses, non-blacks are going to remember how so many black folks voted along color lines. And the white folks who are now fueling this divisiveness will have conveniently forgotten their part in this mess.

Riiiight. Did you actually read the e-mails to her supporters? I’m guessing no. They were so carefully worded as to leave us wondering what the hell she was taking about. In the end, she said her voters had to make up their own minds on who to vote for. Not exactly a ringing endorsement for your coked out scumbag candidate. He’ll never get our votes. Get over it.

  • http://marcysmutiny.blogspot.com MessyMarcy

No, it’s not called Democracy. It’s called Chicago politics. And this fall it will be called Karma.

Obama is doing for race-baiting what Joe McCarthy did for red-baiting. I can’t wait until Obama suffers the same comeuppance that all petty little tyrants get when they finally go too far and people see them for what they really are. Living the rest of his life in shame and disgrace because of what he is doing now to genuine American heroes like John Lewis and John McCain is exactly what Obama deserves.

  • Darryl

The difference being is that he promoted himself as the new politican. He had tons of support based on those positiions that he changed on. This isn’t something that happened after years of a law being on the books. He is changing his positions mid-game. Its real simple to see the facts–he took one position during the primary, he takes another position during the general election. Hillary never did that. Even when they were killing her with her iraq vote, she kept solid.

  • NoObamislamists

Hillary isn’t stupid. If Hussein Obama bombs in November, which is very likely, she’ll be poised for 2012.

Bill’s “support” appears to be a one line non-endorsement endorsement, a report that Obama can “kiss my ass”, and a 30 minutes phone call that nobody knows what was talked about.

And why would Hussein Obama want the endorsement of 2 racists who advocated for his assassination?

  • Latte liberal for McCain

    Agreed.

And what did they do at those parties? Drugs? Go out in the middle of the night and vandalize cars? Prey on five years old to try to get them to support Obama?

You are correct, but anyone who says that those states didn’t follow the rules, is very ignorant of what happened. The Rules committee actually discussed this, but you would have had to actually watched the whole proceeding on Cspan instead of relying on CNN to analyze it for you.

There where supposed to be two states inbetween Iowa and New hampshire, but AFTER they decided on those two states, New Hampshire moved their primary up to circumvent the other two states and come in second again. Out of protest, Michigan and florida did the same. The DNC gave a waiver to New Hampshire but not to florida and Michigan. THAT IS THE REAL TRUTH.

“Hillary also put her life on the line, in the south, in the sixties, to register blacks and hispanics to vote.”

    really????

where is the proof of this?

Cannot find it in any of her official bios–which all mention she was a REPUBLICAN until she got to Wellesley in later 60s.

I wonder if this claim is as bogus as her claims to have been under sniper fire in bosnia????

The only mention of voter registration that I can find on the internets is her work for McGovern in 1972–and registering voters to support the candidate whose campaign you are working on isn’t the same as working in 60s to register blacks in the south.

I note also that she grew up a republican in CHICAGO, which–as all you dead enders know, is really a cesspool of corruption and a totalitarian horror show not unlike the late USSR.

  • Latte liberal for McCain

McCain is a moderate Republican, an honorable man, has served his country, loves his country, and isn’t surrounded by anti-American racist, sexist, violent thugs. Intimidating voters with claims that they’re self-hating blacks or closet racists might work in Chicago, but it won’t fly here in New York. We’re smart. We elect senators who stand for something besides themselves.

It’s true in a democracy you may challenge whomever you wish. But the reason they’re giving is lack of sufficient support for Obama. That’s not a reason for running for office. Nor does it qualify you to hold that office.

When did democrats turn in toadies? If you’re not loyal enough you’re out? This is what we’ve spent the last eight years fighting. Now that type of behavior is not only okay but endorsed.

Actions like this continue to prove Ralph Nader’s point. There is no difference between the two parties.

  • Darryl

Has anyone thought of how this represents a larger pattern of what we can expect from the democrats now. It seems that in every race, especially in large african american communities, the race card is being used. How is a white democrat supposed to win now, if every time they or their supporters try to run for office, they are implied racists? How long do you think it will take before almost all white people abandon the democratic party?

  • sfhillary

No, I’ll tell you what is “blech” — blech is the way PUMAs just sneeringly toss the harshest possible ad hominem insults at even the most reasonable posts from people who disagree with them. It’s almost funny — you complain about the tone of HRC’s opponents in the primaries — but your tone on this blog is the most uniformly negative and insulting I’ve ever seen. You call Obama supporters bots — but this blog has the most uniform, rigorous adherence to talking points I’ve ever seen. Even the vocabulary is regurgitated in such a rote manner: inadequate, fraud, hypocritical, thuggish, under the bus, kiss my ass, my vote is mine — you all say the same stuff, over and over and over, same ideas, same words and phrases, same auto-rejection of any dissenting voice. And then you call your opponents ‘bots.’ Hilarious.

  • steveeboy

I support obama because he is the nominee of the democratic party and i am a democrat, and because the country cannot afford another 4 years of the GOP in the White House.

I was a richardson man until he dropped out.

faced with a choice of clinton or obama I went with obama because he wasn’t part of a familial dynasty, he hasn’t already spent 8 years in the white house, and–most important–HE DIDN’T VOTE TO INVADE AND OCCUPY IRAQ.

    We already had bush-clinton-bush.

    we don’t need bush-clinton-bush-clinton.

On almost everything else they were identical in terms of policy.

However, had HRC somehow pulled off the victory, I would have been voting for her no problem–just as after my 2004 preferred candidate (Dean) lost I voted for Kerry WITHOUT demanding that people kiss my ass, apologize to me for the real (and imagined) shabby treatment of my preferred candidate at the hands of opponents or the press, and beg for my vote.

The reaction of the sore loser crowd, the GOP ratfuckers, and the pseudo dems has certainly vindicated my decision.

This is simple retaliation by Obama, who seems to have all of the worst qualities of George W. Bush, especially the petty vindictiveness that requires him to exact revenge from anyone who has ever failed to show him the blind adoration exhibited by all Obamabutts.

And this behavior, which shows us what kind of person Obama really is, stands in stark contrast to his lie that he is a different kind of politician. Little did we know that what he meant by that was that he is even sleazier than the run of the mill political hack.

  • Darryl

Good point. That gets to the heart of it doesn’t it. After all that smear, all of sudden they are okay to support him. As if it wasn’t true to being with, very telling that is.

Ah, the usual name-calling from the little Obamabutts. What, no threats? I’m hurt.

Obama admitted, had he been in the senate chamber at the time, that he too might have voted for the war. Please stop pointing to a non-issue; rather, look to what he has done – nothing. Oh, there might have been one bill with regard to the Congo and I think he named a post office after himself, but other than that, the man voted ‘present.’

That familial thing – how in the world can you put that into play. Clinton left office with a balanced budget, a surplus and a 76% approval rating. I’ll take that family any day.

Actually, they gave a waiver to Iowa as well. Iowa’s caucus was moved up by more than a week so that it would remain “first”. Originally, Iowa’s caucus was set for JANUARY 14. The Iowa GOP moved their caucus to Jan 3, and the Democrats did the same. (Apparently, by state law, Iowa must be the “first” by at least a full week ahead of any other contest.)
This information was reported in OCTOBER of last year. (Sourced http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2007/10/16/get-ready-for-new-years-in-iowa/index.html?ex=1193198400&en=56539f48ccfcacdc&ei=5065&partner=MYWAY )

Barack Obama is not worthy of being in the same room as John Lewis. If the civil rights movement had had to depend on a cowardly flip-flopper like Obama to fight for it, AAs would still be paying poll taxes, having to take literacy tests before voting, and drinking from separate water fountains.

And I repeat my statement above from the first comment, which even you didn’t have the audacity to dispute. In one of the more ridiculous lies he has told, Barack Obama likes to compare himself to Abe Lincoln, MLK and JFK; in reality, he is to those people what Clarence Thomas is to Thurgood Marshall.

    OFF TOPIC TO THIS THREAD

BEWARE:The poster (CANNONFIRE aka Joseph) who posted here yesterday claiming to be an expert on the FAKE Obambi BC is a plant as far as I’m concerned. He removes posts on his blog that show evidence contrary to his, in fact he has MODERATION turned on so that he can review posts before accepting them.

If anybody takes the time to view the KOS copy and the Obambi (fight the smears)copy you will know they are two different copies.

The KOS copy in the lower left hand corner reads as follows :OHSM 1.1 http://images.dailykos.com/images/user/3/BO_Birth_Certtificate.jpg

The Obambi (fight the smears) copy in the lower left corner reads as follows: OHBM 1.1 http://www.barackobama.com/images/fts/BO_birthcert.jpg

Notice the 3rd letter at KOS is an “S

Notice the 3rd letter at Obambi is a ” B

CANNONFIRE aka Joseph makes the excuse that it has to do with different sized jpg’s, that 100% BS
    and he knows it.

Have a close look at the Obambi image (2x image size) and continue to read the same line where it says ” LASER ” , you will notice the ” S ” in laser is not the same as the ” B ” in OHBM 1.1. You don’t even need to use any fancy program, just blow up the image x2 in your paint program, it’s clear to see.

I tried to explain that to CANNONFIRE aka Joseph and his reply was “Whoever you are, you’re wacky”.

My second post to him where I went into more detail was scrubbed off his blog by him. The guy is an impostor in my opinion.

As far as I’m concerned the only guy to trust on this with knowledge is poster ” Polarik ” !!

Sorry for cross posting but I’m pizzed in thinking that CANNONFIRE aka Joseph is a plant!! The truth will come out, it’s only a matter of time.

    I have a good question I think?

If Bill Clinton is now supporting Obama; why hasnt he said something to the press himself.

I mean I have a feeling he will probably eventually come out, but it seems strange he hasnt said any of this himself. Hey Hillary did.

  • DancingOpossum

Don’t let the Obamabots change the subject — something they are very good at.

The article here, the subject of this thread, is the thuggish behavior of the Obama team–once again onf ull display.

What is your response to that? How do you justify this behavior? Does this sound like “a uniter, not a divider?”

Hillary is no longer your problem. You don’t have her to slime and kick around any longer. Focus on YOUR candidate.

Do you condone this thuggishness and hostility towards longtime loyal Democrats who are being targeted and bullied because they did not fallin line at the Messiah’s feet? On what basis do you condone it?

Do NOT let them get away with their anti-Hillary nonsense or their rehashing of old arguments. Make them own their candidate. You wanted him: you got him. Now try to defend him.

  • Darryl

Because he is lying. Its called a “call to authority”….If someone opens an argument with “i have read all this stuff” Or, I am the leading authority on, you can bet they are about to feed you a bunch of crap. Its kinda like the holiday inn express comercials. How do you know all this stuff? “Because I stayed at a holiday inn express.”

Instead of saying he read Hillary’s bio, he should have pointed out specific information in that bio and contrasted it with Obamas and THEN gave a good conclusion based on that information. Instead he chose to be fallicous and call his authority just because he says so.

  • Darryl

Would you want to support someone who said you are a racist?

  • DancingOpossum

Oh, and Mort: Childress in Missouri won by distancing himself so far and fast from Obama that he set a new land speed record for running. His campaign ads basically amounted to “Obama? Never heard of him.”

LOL. The ignorance of the Obamabots continues unabated.

  • No to B.O.= Body Odor & B. Obama

If these are the new rules: that if you lose, all your supporters must be vanquished – does that mean when Obama loses in November big-time that everyone who has ever supported him must be voted out or step down? (Thank god we can still protect against an Odinga-style wipe-out of all Hillary supporters).

I guess this is the new democracy…

And once they’re done with elected officials who fight for the people, it stands to reason that the people are next. No wonder Obama keeps such close connections with Odinga, for advice and stuff – ya know? I believe Mao and Hitler did the same thing to their opponents’ supporters…hmmmm, history repeating? It already is in Kenya and Zimbabwe – I guess it’s spreading to North America now.

  • http://Dinocrat Dinocrat

  • candymarl

Bill Clinton has been reported to have his representatives say these things. The man is an excellent public speaker. Doesn’t need a teleprompter or anything.

Maybe he hasn’t said anything publicly because his wife was referred to as a bitch and a whore. Maybe he hasn’t said anything because his wife was accused of “pimping out his daughter”. Even if Bill didn’t defend Hillary it’s okay in my book. Hillary knows how nasty politics can be. But dissing his little girl? That’s a whole different kettle of fish.

I suspect, and I have no proof, that really upset him.

You don’t think the Clinton’s weren’t playing some political hardball during the primaries? I distinctly recall some TV and radio ads they ran against Obama that I thought were decidedly low pitches. They didn’t bother me because I was an Obama supporter at that point; they bothered me because I was a Clinton supporter. Bill said a few things that made me cringe, too. I cringed because I like the guy so much, and knew they were going to backfire on him. The media jumped right on them.

I remember the those damned accusations that the Clintons would “burn down the village to win”. Repeated again and again. I hated it everytime there was something that seemed to give ammunition to the accusers. People responsible for Hillary’s campaign strategy didn’t seem to be paying attention.

In retrospect, I think this stuff ultimately contributed something to the shift of support to Obama. Hillary’s strategists miscalculated the way a lot of democrats would react to hardball politics being played within their party, and ignored the feedback. It was a miscalculation I continue to regret. I remain a democrat, but now I find myself behind a second-string candidate, hoping he can live up to his early and admittedly unproven expectations.

What other choice do I have? If I opted for McCain, I’d be opting for the very policies and principles I’ve been arguing against ever since George W. Bush got elected. I can’t see that as a choice at all.

I will vote against my own Congressman, Mayor and Governor. I will vote for the Republican because I do not like the dirty Obama Politics/Policy of 2008!

  • pumapower

If you have not recognized the blatant media bias, and the underhanded attacks against the Clintons throughout the primary, then you will not understand what is going on.

What did the Clintons say that was low ball? Was it worse than compared to what obama has said ? Please try to be objective and reassess your evaluation of the Clinton’s campaign. It is also likely that you are not aware of Obama’s gaffes and negative campaign tactics because they were not covered by main stream media.

We are not saying that clintons didn’t make mistakes, but the double standard held against them is what has distorted your perception.

I know that if I wasn’t a Clinton supporter from the beginning, it would be hard for me to pick up on the bias. If I were an Obama supporter, I would be complacent in hearing about how great my candidate is and all of the negatives about the clintons, and not do any more digging beyond what is reported in the headlines. But it is exactly because I started out being a Clinton supporter, I took steps to research into the issues and get a perspective from both sides of the debate.

If you feel that saying mysogynistic and derogatory words about to formal First Lady by media pundits is acceptable, and that the kind of race baiting by a candidate against his own party is acceptable then I am afraid to live in your world.

For most of us, it is hypocracy of the Obama campaign that enrages us. If he didn’t run a campaign on change and the higher ground, then it would have been acceptable to have the primary be a slug fest. But the truth is, Obama is a two face — a wolf in lambs clothing.

In my opinion, the disrespect he displayed towards the Clintons is worse than the right wing attacks of the nineties. The Obama campaign engaged in character assasination to destroy the credibility of two dedicated public servants who’ve spend their whole lives fighting for minority rights and a progressive America. He sabotaged the Clinton’s records for his own ambitions to become POTUS.

He is a green politician. All the people that he has thrown under the bus and the damage he wageds thus far, will come back to haunt him in his political future.

As a republican, I have to say I am quite pleased to see this going on in the democratic party. Why? Because I want them to suck and die?

    No.

It’s because the democratic party, for too long, has been corrupted by sick, anti-American fascist scum. The normal democrats not only tolerated that but allowed these evil assholes to determine policy to an unacceptable extent.

Now….you are finding out that they are a huge liability. Actually, it’s quite a bit worse than that. They have grown so powerful that they are on the cusp of seizing control and kicking you out of your own damn party.

That’s a win, win situation, as far as I’m concerned. Either they succeed and the democrats will never again be taken seriously. Or you find your balls and purge your party of this toxic element and our country returns to a legitimate two party system (as opposed to one legitimate party and one that wants to destroy the American way of life). Hey….if you reform enough, maybe, one day, I’ll be a democrat again. Like many republicans, I didn’t start out as a republican. I don’t come from a family of republicans. I went over to them after leaving the democrats in disgust.

I rather think that is too much to hope for. More likely, you will reform just enough that the republicans will realize that they have to actually obey their constituents if they want our votes.

    That’s a good thing.

Don’t tell me these people did not know this was going to happen. The writing was on the wall from the beginning. This is what we here in Chicago call–Ghetto Politics!
Did they actually believe that there would be no repercussions? Did they actually believe these racist fucks would kiss and make up? Hell no! they want blood now,

These Thugs have tasted Power! They will do ANYTHING to keep it. There is one problem though. Something many of these Ghetto Hitlers have forgotten.

    THE CONVENTION!

  • ziggy

You mean, Don’t let the topic deviate from Obama bashing?

I don’t see much of the “thuggishness and hostility” you speak of.

Until an Obama democrat tries to say something conciliatory, or mentions party unity, or attempts to refute an unfounded assertion, or dares to make thoughtful criticism of John McCain.

    Then I see plenty.

You want to cast all current Obama supporters as anti-Hillary. A lot of us are Clinton supporters, and have been for a long time. We’re just democrats first.

    Just like Bill and Hillary.

  • alee21

Obama and his followers are crass and vindictive, shown time and time again. The Democratic Party is supporting this creep? Calling McCain a war criminal or lacking in foreign policy judgement because McCain was imprisoned as a POW is despicable politics.

I have no respect for the Democratic Party. It is a party of the deluded, delusional and downright objectionable.

Do not let this man be elected President.

  • DoroB

This is outrageous. Obama supporters should be ashamed of themselves and their fellow supporters.

  • DoroB

Shame on you and your fellow supporters for intimidating people like John Lewis, who you intimidated into supporting your hypocrite of a candidate, and now are being threatened of losing their seats to the thug campaigners.
Who are you guys trying to unite? You’re doing a pretty lousy job.

  • http://www.youtube.com/user/PaulFVillarreal Paul F. Villarreal

2 things for the morons this article does a great job of describing:

    1. More people voted for Clinton than your stupid golden calf assclown ‘Messiah,’ particularly in NY

    2. Do the women who didn’t back HRC hate themselves, too? Does Claire Bizitch McCaskill hate herself?

    Freaking ridiculous.

  • http://www.youtube.com/user/PaulFVillarreal Paul F. Villarreal

This is why we must support Ed O’Reilly against John Kerry and look to primary people such as Bobby Wexler.

If this is the game, we need to play it as well.

One Ofraudma woman in MA was already ousted. It is time for the next coupist to go.

  • Darryl

Then you don’t mind me calling you a racist pig, right. Or how about a big Bitch! Good, now fall in line soldier!

  • Darryl

    No, its you.

  • Darryl

    its me

  • Darryl

    NO, its me!

  • Darryl

    IM GONNA TELL MY DAD!

  • Objective analysis

Obama is just following his Kenyan relatives which apply Malcolm X mantra: By any means necessary.

Look, Kerry is getting backlash too. The DNC party is divided. Everyone will have to fend off the attacks from all sides. Just get your popcorn, because it will get ugly.

  • Elizabeth

    Are you American or British?

  • ziggy

It isn’t Obama supporters who are saying if they can’t have their own candidate of choice they’ll detonate a bomb in the democratic boat and send the whole thing to the bottom.

Which prominent Obama supporter has called John McCain a war criminal? When was that?

Do you hallucinate this stuff yourself, or just buy into other people’s hallucinations?

  • Steven Mather

If she was pandering to the worst elements of the party, then she must have been pandering to you, which she was not, therefore, your claim, like almost everything that comes out of your festering gob, is false.

You are a brownshirt wannabe. Why don’t you stop pretending you are progressive and embrace your BNP kissing cousins.

  • http://thehorizontalworld.blogspot.com/ Medusa

BO and his thugs are redefining the word scum. Yuck.
    Thanks pagan.

  • HRocks

If these parties were so successful all of the MSM would be talking about it and there would be interviews of the converted.

  • HRocks

why do you choose to vote the democrat party line?

    PAGAN POWER:

PLEASE VIEW JESSE JACKSON JR. (Obama’s ex-Co-Chair of Campaign) YOUTUBE VIDEO where he makes
RACIST AND MISOGYNIST INFLAMMATORY COMMENTS AGAINST SEN. HILLARY CLINTON, ADVOCATING MURDER AS

“IT WOULD BE NATURAL THING TO KNOCK OFF A WHITE WOMAN LIKE O.J….OBAMA COULD, OF COURSE…”

INCREDIBLE VIDEO CLIP MADE DURING IOWA/N.H. STAGE OF CAMPAIGN.

  • ginaswo still says no to Uhhbama

yeah that John Lewis is so old news, he just marched and was beaten for frakkin civil rights with MLK himself, but hey out with the old right??

you Obots suck, and you are totally dishonoring the work MLK and men like John Lewis spent their lives fighting for..

dont even try to pretend its about anything but payback and the chicago combine gone national..

  • ann

Jesse Jackson Jr. did say these “inflammatory comments” and I heard that Obama’s ass. told him off in Iowan and N>H as he didn’t like that Jackson linked O.J. Simpson’s murder of Nicole and compared to Obama’s KILLING off HILLARY! He said “it wouldn’t be NATURAL for Obama because O.J. knocked off a WHITE WOMAN”!! Pretty awful, but media did not pick up.

It’s definitely on YouTube and O.J. Simpson gets compared to Obama and his wife’s murder likened to the “natural thing” Obma would do to Hillary–killing her!!!Unbelievable thug htis jerk Jesse@ (His mother supported Hillary) A real Sexist Jerk!

  • ginaswo still says no to Uhhbama

I am voting for the person I trust and respect adn whom has experi3ence, what part of this dont you understand?? it has the added bonus of ensuring the DEMS dont ever try to steal a nomination again as a big p;us.

this is nothing like promising to not run compeition for a seat if Hill suspends and they back Uhbama and then turning around and running against them anyway

it PROVES OBAMA DOES NOT HONOR HIS WORD AND NEITHER DOES RANGEL IF HE DOESNT PUT A STOP TO THIS

    CALL CHARLIE RANGEL

He is not wanting to support him and is likely doing all he can to NOT come out, k we have discussed it before, they are part of the party

how successful has Lieberman been since he broke ranks, not very, he is a pariah and cant get some things passed, if Hillary wants to be effective for the millions of NYers who voted for her, she has 5 year to get things done for them and needs to work with the party

Big Dawg has more space and can push back but they are still leaning all over him and leaking false things to the media to try and force his hand.. they are pushing HARD on him

Bill is working for the whole planet now doing way more than Gore ever could to get REAL things done, HIV drugs, famine and poverty and homelessness addressed, billions thru the Global Initiative in his Foundation. He too doesnt want to hurt Hillarys career. it is a dance, a dance with long knives….

  • ginaswo still says no to Uhhbama

yes you are Democrats who dont believe in the fourth amendment or separation of church and state or campaign finance reform like your leader Uhhbama right? and you are Progressives who are FOR the death penalty in certain cases like Uhbama right?

    gimme a break

if you were about the party platform like you say, you would be livid at the flip flops

we supported Hill b/c we were always moderate

your guy ran as a lefty lib and now is running center right , you are posers just like your candidate, the party line doesnt work when your guy is running on a right wing platform for the past two weeks buddy

  • ginaswo still says no to Uhhbama

yeah LOL the ‘dems’ that have been wining are TOTALLY RIGHT and even pro life, and they think this is a good sign for Uhhbama

    BWAAHAAAAAAA

  • ginaswo still says no to Uhhbama

He was watching the astronauts come in, the same ones some of his followers dont believe ever really landed on the moon (but he did steal the Apollo project and Manhattan project lingo from Hill for his energy plan also stolen from Hill)

the same ones who work at NASA whose budget he plans to slash and burn to pay for faith based WRIGHT AND Pleflger programming of 1 million kids during the summer into the Uhhbama Army…shiver me timbers matey!

  • ginaswo still says no to Uhhbama

Hillary KNEW about Wright before IOWA man, come ON, She could have FINSIHED uhhbama right there, she played niiice..the GOP wont, thank Gawd.

  • ginaswo still says no to Uhhbama

I am younger than Uhhbama you maroon

    and oh no you wont

you may wind up drafted though or taxed to death if you have your way..sweeeet huh

God Bless you and Good Luck!

  • ginaswo still says no to Uhhbama

he will , I will also

we will laugh all the way to 2012 when we get Hillary which we could have had now if it werent for your ‘chicago combine GE Chevron sponsored third world poltickin gone large’ antics..

but dont worry, we have more money than you, so you all say, more education and plenty of time to burn while we wait for 2012, we will hunker down with our SS checks, snark

actually most of us are younger than your candidate i fact and we are from all walks of life, you all need to stop drinking the kool aid and get out more and see that we are all kinds of Americans who wont support Uhhbama

  • ginaswo still says no to Uhhbama

you kids better cut it out back there!

  • Francis

Right, because there is no hate being spewed here!

  • ginaswo still says no to Uhhbama

well I for one , a lifetime liberal Dem, have had my eyes opened to these radical left types taking over the party,

my Dad, God Bless, told me I was a bleedin heart and thought it was cute when I was 18. He would be shocked to see this spread to the mainstream of the DEMS I think, he was Republican and a vet himself.

I think my grandpa God Bless would have said these were a bunch of pinkos. You know what? they were both right. I am sick of SF Pelosi and her setting criminals free, I am sick of Reid saying coal makes us sick and hi gas prices are good when people cant get to work, I am sick of Uhhbama and his thugs calling us all racist for wanting someone with some G-D experience to run the country and I am ready to drill, me a tree hugger

so yeah if the plan was to get half of us to leave the party or stay and vote GOP, congrats to Rove and Uhhbama cause they did it, I even want Congress to go GOP at least the House cause I want Pelosi OUT as speaker and her seat is safe..
    sigh

sorry for being mean and closed minded and adversarial as a reflex to GOP all these years, I assumed, and my dad again being totally right told me never to do that and why

I am learning finally..hopefully it isnt at the expense of our national security and others will wake up also…

  • ginaswo still says no to Uhhbama

oh Podesta had Randi Briggs saying it at the same MOMENT Uhhbama was on tv saying not to insult mccains patriotism..

    JON ARAVOSIS AMERICABLOG

prominent ‘progressive’ blogger Uhhbama supporter ya huh

Uhhbama is the KING of passive aggressive behavior, he is following a style of amangemenrt seen in uhm the NY mob! like the mafia style of governance in that way

    that is how it works

when you put out a hit you go thru a middle man, ya know, so no direct finger on you, that is how Uhhbama rolls, like when someone flips it needs to be sammy the bull who was the middle man, then they get them all, maybe Rezko is his sammy the bull!

but we all KNOW what Clark is saying is at Uhhbamas behest to see if he works as a good VP attack dog

my guess, he is off the VP list, it didnt go over well at all, Americans are PIXXED they are attacking mccain this way, but it will not be until a POLL shows it that Uhhbama does anything real about it, dont doubt it…

one more name off the vp list

cant wait for Sam Nunn to be up, so we can talk about GE dealings in Iran and Chevron in Venezuela, ohhh what fun!!!!

  • ginaswo still says no to Uhhbama

they even made a tshirt and were seling it in american airports for cripes sake

“if onyl OJ had married Hilalry” it said

but no racist sexism nah not here

    lying sacks of crap…

  • Francis

    Total mischaracterization of the comment.

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/01/04/AR2008010400117.html

What Jesse Jr was trying to say is how it is difficult for a black man to attack a white woman politically because of the racial history of this country. Men have been lynched for winking at a white woman in this country.

I don’t know why he brought OJ into it. But to insinuate he wanted to murder Hillary…COME ON!!!

  • Francis

I did a search could not find ONE story referring to these disgusting t-shirts being sold in airports. So who is “they”?
