NO DEAL: Current DNC “Brain Trust” a “Lost Cause”

From HRCin08′s channel, and inspired by:

Video Inspired by 7/1/08 Letter to Jonathan Mantz, Hillary Clinton’s Campaign Chair, by Lady Boomer NYC http://www.ladyboomernyc.wordpress.com
as posted on my blog: Come A Long Way http://www.comealongway.wordpress.com

Dear Jonathan,

I am part of the Just Say No Deal, Puma Pac Coalition. Our coalition, which includes an estimated 2 million voters and hundreds of pro-Hillary bloggers, has mounted an all-out, concerted, viral campaign to help retire Hillary’s debt. I am self-employed and, like many, have devoted the last five months to helping Hillary get elected. I will be sending $20.08 on July 4th as part of the campaign to retire her debt, so she can declare her financial independence.

Because of this hijacked election mounted by the DNC and other Party leaders that 1) forced an arbitrary, unfair, and fraudulent DNC RBC decision on the electorate; 2) displayed or did nothing to quell the hatred, sexism, and race-baiting hurled at the Clintons during the campaign; 3) strong-armed Superdelegates to “decide” against the popular vote BEFORE the Democratic Convention; 4) selected an unqualified, untested, combination far-right and far-left candidate; 5) threw overboard the electable candidate along with the Democratic Party’s base; and 6) purportedly will not have a floor vote for Hillary at the Democratic convention:

I Will Not Now or Ever Vote for or Contribute to Barack Obama.

You asked what I will do, and there you have it. I honor Hillary’s exquisite campaign and candidacy and hear her again and again ask us to support Obama. However, in the end, my allegiance is to Democracy and the Constitution more than any one candidate or Party. The Democratic Party and Donna Brazile, who said the Party can make it without us, no longer speak for me. It is not about Hillary, nor hurt feelings for losing. It is about our rights as citizens which trump Party and candidate. By the way, like many of our coalition members, I am a lifelong Democrat, raised in a family of Democrats, whose first vote was cast for George McGovern.

Many of us understand that, as a politician, Hillary has to do what she has to do. However, we are not politicians and many of us will be holding our noses and casting a protest vote — if the presumptive nominee doesn’t self-destruct in the meantime and the Party come running to Hillary to save it. Me, a dreamer? Perhaps. A fighter like Hillary? Absolutely.

I know that I’ve asked this before but I’m just curious if anyone else has noticed this.

Last weekend though some London sources Bill Clinton supposely said that Obama could “kiss his ass”.
On Monday through some Obama sources there was supposely a phone call between Obama and Bill. The phone call supposely brought the two of them together.

Yet I have noticed that we have not seen Bill actually say this directly through any type of media. I have a feeling that Bill will do some type of campaigning.
Yet its been a week and we all know that for this type of announcement from Bill the media would be at his beck and call in two seconds.

Does anyone else find it strange, or is it just me?
Hey it has been almost a week now, and Obama has been all over the news.

  • Obama is a bum

Another Obama zombie. On the 40th anniversary of the Night of the Living Dead should we expect anything less?

He is fired up and ready to go off a cliff, one less zombie to worry about.

  • LSekhmet

I think this says it best:

    Stop the drama, dump Obama!

Now, as for the rest of it — I donated, but I’m unsure if I got the Senate campaign or the Presidential pay-down. I donated through e-mail, but it was the last one (the Unity one that made me grind my teeth) — and it went to the right screen but had “Friends of Hillary” at the bottom instead of “Hillary for President.” I wrote to the people through the contact button at the Hillary Clinton.com website and told them I want this to go for her Presidential campaign only, and that I am a member of three groups trying to help pay down this debt, all of whom are part of the Just Say No Deal coalition.

At any rate, I will never vote for Obama. Not ever.

Here’s my ticket for this year:

Clinton/Edwards ’08. (And I do mean Elizabeth Edwards, btw.)

  • Obama is a bum

Clinton should have nothing to do with Obama. If Clinton were to become Obama’s VP then she will go right down with a failed administration.

  • TeaMug

    Who do we want?

    HILLARY CLINTON FOR PRESIDENT

    Thats who WE want

Hillary Clinton can beat McCain..Go Hillary!!! RISE

  • Obama is a bum

Die. That would be one less zombie to worry about.

  • alee21

JUST SAY NO DEAL TO OBAMA. Obama is deceitful, a hypocrite and a liar – just in case you didn’t get the message. A hopey-changey-snake charmer.

    NOBAMA!

    GO Hillary!

    GO PUMAs

  • LSekhmet

Maybe the phone call went something like this:

Barack Obama: Bill, I heard that you want to help us.

Bill Clinton: No, I don’t, but I have to say that anyway. What d’you want to do about it?

    Barack Obama: (stunned silence)

Bill Clinton: Well, have a nice day.

Hillary epitomizes what is great about America.
The New Democrats are a maggot infested cesspool which needs to be defeated for the sake of our country.
We must say NO to the internationalist socialists, the Chicago mob, the wussies at the DNC and the super delegates who are trying a hostile takeover of America.

    McCain is the FIREWALL!!

    God Bless America!!
Thanks to Larry and Susan for a great web site.
And a Happy 4th to all the patriots here on this site!

  • MrMike

PUMA people are hoping that the Democratic party under the leadership of Dean, Reid and Pelosi will come to it’s senses and rethink Obama. Don’t hold your breath, these are the same people who managed to get a lower approval rating for Congress than the President enjoys.
This is really sad because me and others like me will either sit this November out or vote for john McCain.
The only way out that I can see that doesn’t result in destroying the party or bloody the streets is if Patrick Fitzgerald has something on Obama.

  • Randall Allen

Bill Clinton despises Hussein Obama – Anything you see Bill doing for the lying sack of crap is all SHOW!

  • Obama is a bum

When they follow a leader who doesn’t even know how many states there are then one can easily conclude that these Obama followers don’t have a clue.

  • standard

My spouse was a Clinton supporter who was
going to go on and vote for Obama in the GE . . .
    until this week.
Says at least you know what you’re getting with McCain.

  • getfitnow

Obama on the top or bottom of the ticket is a losing proposition. I dont want to see Hillary dragged into his mess.

    Hillary or McCain ’08

  • Obama is a bum

What is it about “Obama is unqualified” that you do not understand?

  • Joe Smith

I’ll never support the man who, along with his hopey- changey campaign, smeared Hillary Clinton as a race-baiting serial liar.

    Piss off Obamas.

  • MrMike

The Old Media and certain blogs are good at putting inflammatory rhetoric in Bill’s mouth. They always seem to know what evil thoughts are coursing thru the Clintons’ minds.
Bill like Hillary is a loyal Democrat and do his best despite what the back stabbing wankers from Joe Lieberman on have done to him.

  • standard

    Dean must go.
There is no “coming to his senses.”

The Clinton’s have had little confidence in him, and it has become crystal clear why.
It seems like a lot of our problems, including the MI, FL disenfranchisement could have been avoided and weren’t because of personal vendetta.

  • jbjd

I can’t help thinking that if Senator Obama’s paid student bloggers would spend half as much time researching their employer as they do to maintain a grade point average high enough to avoid being kicked out of college, $10/hour would no longer be enough money to buy their complicity in advancing his candidacy for President of the United States.

  • Obama is a bum

I would love to see Obama kiss Bill Clinton’s ass, right on stage with 50,000 of his zombies watching.
Then Obama can kiss Hillary’s ass and drop out. And that is change I can believe in!

  • pew

I can’t see the Clinton’s giving up so easily. I thought I had heard on a Blog somewhere the night of the Meeting of Clinton backers,Didn’t Obama say something, about the Lawyers are working something out,for a role call at the convention? Sounds kinda funny, since I thought role call procedures was a natural occurence. I could be wrong, but maybe there waiting on who will be the lead of the ticket.I can’t see Bill Clinton campaigning for Obama, because of the bitterness between them. I do know Obama made the call to Bill,so maybe he just appologized. It’s possible, the Clinton’s won’t act until after the convention. I guess its a waiting game. In the mean time,I hope Obama keeps up his appearances with the Flip flops, and makes more Blunders,so it looks good for our girl Hillary.lol

  • MrMike

It would be one of those deals like Hillary campaigning for Obama. Do what is necessary for a win in November … and hope he brings more to the table than Lieberman did for Gore or Edwards did for Kerry.

Dont sit Nov out!!!! I hear the DNC has been jumping for joy thinking of all the Hillary people who say they will not vote or will vote Independent.

Yet I understand that they are worried that these people just might go McCain.

The way I see it is we have a few choices if Hillary doesnt get the ticket at the Convention.

You can either not vote, or vote Independent–that will be just like voting for Obama.

Or you can vote McCain…At the rate Obama is going now with his all his flip flops and changes Obama’s stance will probably be more conservative than McCain’s.

With McCain I truly believe that he cares about America, its future and ALL Americans.

    Hillary ’08
    McCain/Hillary ’08
    McCain/?? ’08

  • Randall Allen

They just keep using that phrase – “get over it” – this time it’s Bill Schneider of CNN – They really don’t get it , we will never “get over it” – NEVER NEVER NEVER HUSSEIN OBAMA.

“Former presidents are supposed to be above politics, but Bill Clinton couldn’t be above it in this campaign since his wife was a candidate for president,” Schneider said. “But he was seen as too political. Democrats thought it was appropriate for him to support his wife but not appropriate to get overly critical of Obama.”

So can Clinton, who left office eight years ago with approval ratings well over 60 percent, repair his image with most Americans?

“He needs to show he’s gotten over it,” Schneider said.

  • http://mmb silverfox

good letter and i’m sure it will be passed on to Hillary. as have many other similar messages.

as for the obotomy trolls…well, i kind of have to remember that they help keep it green for me. keep the Democracy wound a bit open so i can remain very clear about who obama really is and whathis gang stands for.

    HILLARY WILL BE POTUS

  • Obama is a bum

There needs to be some house cleaning: Dean, Pelosi, and Reid all need to go. The best way to achieve this is to vote for McCain and defeat Obama. If Obama is defeated they will see the error of their reasoning on thumbing their nose at Hillary. The Republicans do not want to go up against Hillary, she is an excellent campaigner and destroyed Obama in the last debate that he left crying.

So was mine (my husband that is). He’s never once voted Republican but the FISA, public financing, war in Iraq, mortgate loan crap just got to be a little too much this past week. He’s now voting for McCain. Announced it to me last night and pretty much said the same thing your husband said “Obama has changed his positions too many times in the past week and I find I can’t support him anymore. I guess I’ll vote for McCain. At least I know where he stands on issues and doesn’t constantly change his mind.”

  • http://dakiniland.wordpress.com/ Dakinikat

Nobody’s lost or won at this point. Go back and take a basics civics class. Neither of them have enough pledged delegates to get it on the first ballot. Sheesh, what an idiot thing to say!

  • MrMike

I think there is a lot of confusion on how the selection process and convention works. Historically there is a roll call vote that allows the losing candidate’s delegates to cast their pledged votes for their candidate. Feel good speeches are made praising that candidate ad nauseum. It doesn’t have to be that way but it’s been the tradition.
There is speculation (wishful thinking?) that it won’t happen this August because there is fear the super delegates will come to their senses and there will be an upset on that first ballot and Hillary will be nominated.
I believe that there is a different reason, Dean wants to twist the knife same as the RBC did when they took four of Hillary’s Michigan delegates and awarded them to Obama.

  • ginaswo still says no to Uhhbama

Yeah, the trolls piss me off so royally that it just makes me more determined than ever to see that Obama is defeated. Most of the time when they make me really angry I feel better by just moseying on over to McCain’s site and donated anywhere from $5-$50. It really depends on how obnoxious they are as to what I’ll give McCain but Obama and his troll army must be defeated.

I will NEVER just “get over it” so they can stop saying that and “K in the Northwest” is absolutely right. A vote that doesn’t go for McCain will make it easier for that fraud to get the votes needed to put him in the White House. ALWAYS REMEMBER, Gore lost the Presidency by just 537 votes. USE YOUR VOTE WISELY AND DON’T LET IT COUNT TOWARDS OBAMA!

The only thing I “got over” was the MSM. I have completely boycotted CNN, MSNBC, NPR, NY Times, etc. for months, and I don’t miss them at all. Now, if I catch something in passing because someone else has it on, it looks like an SNL skit. It’s so vapid and ridiculous. These blowhards just love to hear their self-important selves blather on.

    Me? I “got over it.”

  • Judy

It’s time to not only do a grassroots internet movement against Obama. But, we must talk to family, friends, co-workers, anyone that will listen.

There are many people who not come to the blogs, and we need to spread the word.

I was at a 4th of July small gathering of family and friends. People are all over the place about who to vote for.

One family has totally switched from obama due to his religious issues – Dobson is making an impact.

One family didn’t want McCain because of the 100 years in Iraq – we must bust that deceit.

Everyone else were pretty much on the same page – no Obama.

But, we have alot of work to do.

    HILLARY / MCCAIN

I’m so disgusted that I’ve avoided all news for 2 weeks. It was nice to turn it on and finally seeing some truth dribbling out.

McCain is FAR FAR PREFERABLE to B.O. Can you imagine THIS CONGRESS led by the flip flopping jack ass. Apparently even some of the Obamazoids have actually started to ask some of the questions we’ve started asking many months ago…”just what does this guy REALLY stand for”.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a corrupt primary process or such an incompetent, corrupt and pandering candidate in my entire life.

Roosevelt’s DNC is dead; it is denied a proper funeral by the neo-Dem leaders who pretend it still exists in hopes that we won’t notice and unite behind their inexperienced Flim-Flam man.

Chicago-style politics instead of the will of the people have decided the outcome of the party’s election process. Clinton victories include AR, AZ, CA, FL, MI, NH, NV, NJ, NY, MA, PA, PR,SD,TN and WV, but the neo-Dems have forced the end of her campaign.Clinton won the popular vote and earned more primary votes for President than any Democratic candidate in this country’s history, but the new DNC will have none of it.

Before its Denver convention, the new DNC has decided to consolidate its party machinery with Obama’s campaign and move its operations from Washington DC to Chicago. The Denver convention will be nothing more than a celebration of Barack Hussein Obama and whatever he believes in August.

This is about much more than Hillary Clinton; it is about country, principles and beliefs, and what will happen to that we hold most dear if this nation elects another untested incompetent to the highest office in the land. Even if Hillary
were offered VP; she would have no control over
this megalomaniac and his Chicago machine.

This is about the role of our leaders and their responsibility to citizens in a democracy. Democratic leaders worked together to circumvent the will of the people and empower an inexperienced, far-left candidate with questionable friends and associates. Others in high position allowed it, did nothing to stop it, and by their silence condoned it. We must be diligent and never forget that there are forces that want to dilute or even dissipate our collective power.

Remember in Novenber to remind the neo-Dems that actions have consequences. Like the Republicans, they cannot be trusted. We must have a President who will ensure the checks and balances of power that are founders valued. Remember in November; it is time to take our country back.

Clinton or McCain, 2008; there is no other viable option for our country.

  • MrMike

I see it doesn’t really take to much to bring an Obama supporter’s true nature to the surface.

When the primary process started, I thought a Clinton/Obama ticket would be great. Clinton was my preferred candidate. Like many others, I had been waiting a long time to vote for her for President. I liked Obama but knew he needed a lot more experience.

That was before I learned who he really is. That was before I learned the truth about the DNC.

Now, would I not only not vote for an Obama/Clinton ticket. I would not vote for a Clinton/Obama ticket. I will never vote for Obama – not ever! All the experience in the world will not make him of good character. He is ineffectual in Congress and he would be a disaster for this country as President or Vice President.

Not to leave the Democratic Congress out – it might as well have been Republican led. They have accomplished nothing and they have no backbone. I have to wonder who they are actually representing.

I have something very important to say and you all must listen very carefully:

When Terry McCaullif, Hillary’s campaign chair introduced her after her last win, he announced her as the next President of the United States.

Later that evening he was live on Jon Stewart’s talk show stating in a very serious manner that Hillary will be the Democratic nominee.

Put this in your back pocket and wait.

    Wait!

  • http://ladyboomernyc.wordpress.com LadyBoomerNYC

Andy, The paragraph below is what set me off and running with this letter. Because of Jonathan’s question, it flew off my fingers from somewhere in my unconscious mind in a matter of minutes. For perspective, I often work and rework my articles for hours, days, or more.

Additionally to defeat Senator McCain and return the White House to the Democrats, Senator Obama will need significant resources to execute a successful campaign plan. Hillary will be doing all she can to help Senator Obama win in November and we hope you join her in this endeavor. Please let us know if you are involved in any of the upcoming DNC or Obama for America fundraising events, so we can help one another and maximize our resources. Whether you are contributing an additional $1,000, $500, $250 or whatever you feel comfortable with, your support would be deeply appreciated. The maximum that can be contributed towards this effort is $2,300 and that includes what you have previously contributed to Hillary Clinton for President primary fund. (emphasis, mine)

Over the course of this campaign, I’ve received hundreds of these emails from Hillary, the DSCC, and DCCC asking if I’d contribute $35-50 or more; some of Hillary’s more recent letters even asked for $5. Perhaps I ended up on a high rollers’ list, but really! I wanted to make it clear that I will be doing no campaigning for or donating to the selectee.

Call it intuition or naivete, but my sense of Jonathan’s wanting me to let them to know how much I’m going to be helping Obama is a trick question. Who asks that? And for a dollar amount? I think it’s a ruse to gauge how many people are still sticking with Hillary and holding out on Obama.

I sent in my $20.08 today to pay down Hillary’s debt.

I am thrilled to vote for John McCain on so many levels. I think both the parties, so that’s irrelevant. I really admired the progressive strain of the Democratic party and felt tremendous sadness as I saw those causes perverted by the Obama campaign. If Hillary’s campaign had neutralized him early on, then those causes would have been served admirably by one of the best presidential candidates in our history. I think her abilities and grasp of policy with Bill as the perfect adviser… so much good could have been accomplished. I really cried for that lost opportunity.

  • Hope Floats

2 million members of puma alone. That’s significant. There are still 15% of her supporters who refuse to vote for Obama. That’s just polls.

They should worry. If Obama is certified, I will do the unthinkable–I will vote for McCain, not because I support McCain’s policies [although I think he's right in the energy issues] but because I’ll be casting a protest vote.

Anyone but Obama; any group other than the current leadership of the DNC.

And I have to tell you, there’s a whole lot of people in the Smoky Mountain region who feel the same way. Obama campaigning at NASCAR should be very interesting.

Too bad the most unqualified, controversial and downright dangerous presidential candidate in US history is destroying the already-fragile race relations in this country. Initially, Obama may have success as president with the aid of the corrupt DNC, the Che-adoring MSM, and his jihad-driven allies. He will ultimately fail … but how much more damage can this country withstand?

    Happy Independence Day!

That phrase has more importance today than any time in recent history.

Especially for those who were formerly Democrats: who either were thrown under the bus by the Chicago Combine, or those who voluntarily declared they were no longer Democrats on May 31, 2008 (or before or later) because the Democratic Party no longer represented the ideals on which it was founded.

For all those who are either no longer Democrats or those who are hanging on to the shredded remnants of what was once the Democratic Party in hopes that they may realize in Denver the reconstitution of the party, one thing you have in common is your Independence.

You have your Independence from the Tyranny of Oppression by the Will of the Party Elites.

You have your Independence of Thought, Word and Deed.

You have your Independence from Undemocratic Processes.

You have your Independence to declare a New Union.

No matter how you arrived at the point where you declared your Independence from the oppression of Donation Without Representation (a voluntary form of taxation) and Election Without Representation (called Voter Suppression), you are now part of a New Union.

A New Union formed of Independent Thinkers who oppose the Party Elites in their call for Party Unity.

This New Union recognizes that this so-called Party Unity is nothing more than a guise for; a Winning at all Costs Coalition that will therein destroy the once Noble Democratic Party.

This New Union understands that real Unity is the shared idea that placing Country before Party is the truest and most noble voice of Independence and Democracy!

I salute you all today, you New Union of true American Independents.

Today is truly your and our Independence Day.

    Judd

I remember that night, when he announced that. That’s why I still say there’s lots going on behind the scenes,we are not seeing.Another thing,I remember the night of Obama’s win, When he reached the magic number, in his exceptance speech, he had told Clinton that he would meet her any place, anytime,at her choice of place. A few days later they met,and had a private meeting. I could be way off in my thinking, but remember when Clinton in her speech the same night, said, What does Hillary want? and she repeated it a couple of times. She wanted her 18 million people to be heard.

My conclusion to this is. Obama did what he set out to do, and got his nomination. I’m starting to believe he doesn’t want to be President. Sounds dumb, I know, but I think he wanted to talk to Hillary right away before she started working on any legal battles, which she had all intentions of doing.(ilkes) I think Obama went to visit her,and said to play along with him,up to the convention. Now in the mean time the Republicans are spending tons of money on ad’s video’s,etc, etc, because they think they’ll be fighting against Obama, But Hillary will be the nominee at the convention, and there won’t be any money left, for negative adds for hillary.lol
    How’s that for a story.

    Attention: All Obama Boy supporters.

There will be times when you encounter those who would choose to reveal information about me that knocks me off my pedestal. There is some vinegar in the kool-aid I tell you, but pay no attention.

Never fear help is near…Here are the recommended responses to such blasphemy….

1…You are a racist. Of course the only reason someone would not love me is because I’m black..Play the race card often.

2…You are a liar. Of course there is no foundation for any negative remarks about me. The millions who do not see my brilliance are, of course, liars.

    3. You hate Obama. What other reason could there be that there are millions who will vote Hillary or McCain.

4.. You are ill-informed. Perhaps they don’t buy the garbage I give you on my web-site. The only source for Obama information. Do not look elsewhere..

5… If none of the above work…stupid, idiot, moron are words that should be used often when you are unable to defend me intelligently.

6…If all else fails and if they continue to call me a ultra-liberal, black radical, white-hating, terrorist-loving, liar; and a corrupt pawn of the Chicago Political Machine..you can always pass it off that they are Republican.

Keep the Kool-aid alive even if it is filled with vinegar.

    Respectfully

You know it is interesting but there are a whole lot of people in the silent majority who are being just that- silent right now. They will be heard. Pelosi should not be too sure of herself. My husband told me a couple of months ago- before this fiasco played out- that it would be necessary for us both to vote republican to stop Obama. At first I just couldn’t even bring myself to contemplate it but I’ve come around. It is not enough to just stay home.Obama is hoping to depress the turnout of us enough to win this thing. C’mon dems have been voting against candidates forever(excepting Bill Clinton) so we should be used to it by now. How many seriously voted for Kerry as opposed to against Bush? No one can accuse us of voting against our interests by pulling the lever for McCain because Obama clearly has one interest in mind – his own.

I don’t think that people should not vote. I think that that is wrong. It’s a cop out. But to tell a Democrat that they can’t choose an alternative for their vote usually doesn’t work. There are plenty of people here who can’t vote for McCain and we are still very early in this campaign. We don’t know who the veepers are. If JSM picked, say, Fred Thompson, that would make me rethink him altogether. So. Let’s not tell people here who are Nader supporters that their voting for Ralph isn’t a vote against Obama. Because it is. And that means he has to get two other people to vote for him. If he’s relying on two kids to roll out of bed and stand in line, the liklihood decreases.

Thank you Dr. King! We hear you still. Loud and Clear, Sir!

My feeling about trolls are that they come here and spout their abusive crap about Obama. They can read the articles herein and find out the same truths we have. So it makes one understand that they’re either from Gaza (aka Hamas), african Americans, muslim Americans, young, dumb, and all soused with kool-aid. May be a few republicans to keep the pot stirred. No need, we know what Obama is and we don’t want any part of him or his supporters. Wasting your time here.
