    What arrogance does he not know that Bush is still there so what if he have a TV in that room, its their choice, I cant see why Obama has to use that as a talking point.

    Now I see he is even looking for a dog for the first family pet, and the media is making a fuss over this, can this get more sickening that it is? Geez so he gets a dog big deal, you would think this is not something that ordinary people do, and to think that I will have to endure all of this nonsense till Nov.

    The evidence of forgery and manipulation of images of official documents, triggered by Israel Insider’s revelation of the collection of Hawaii birth certificate images on the Photobucket site and the diligent detective work of independent investigative journalists (led by JimJ and Texas Darling) and imaging professionals such as Polarik in the three weeks since the publication of the images, implicate The Daily Kos, a “progressive” blog site, and the Obama campaign’s “Fight the Smears” website, in misleading the public with official-looking but manipulated document images of doubtful provenance. Moreover, the blog and the campaign have been negligent in allowing the promotion of obviously forged and fake official documents together with the purported image of Obama’s birth certificate.

      I hadn’t heard abt Obama and the Lincoln bedroom – not surprised, though. This is the guy who wants the 75,000 seat arena for his DNC acceptance speech. His arrogance knows no bounds. At the rate he is going, maybe, just MAYBE, we won’t have to hear anything from him but his crying when the SuperD’s wake the heck UP already!! :-)

    We really do need to know if Obama’s place of birth meets the Constitutional requirements for him even run for the office. And no — Obama’s “word” is worthless. I won’t believe Obama about anything — anymore than I’d believe that lying bush in the white house.

      I am not buying into that Muslim theory, one bit. (He once was by his Kenyan nationality, but he ain’t now). However, in order to be saved, a Christian needs to be baptized.

      I cannot see how he can stand at podium pretending it to be a pulpit and not be Baptized.

    I believe that the McCain campaign is mostly in a holding pattern until after the Democratic Convention.

    Many expect the convention to be a contentious one that will shatter the silly unity meme that no one except Obamacrats and the Dimwitted Democratic Leadership believes. Unity-schmoonity!

    I also believe that the McCain campaign and the RNC is simply waiting until Obama has been anointed and then… Shock and awe will commence.

    I believe that they do not want to have McCain have to face off against Senator Clinton. Thus they hold fire against her, whilst the corrupt Democratic Party takes her down for them.

    Then they can go after the crappy little poser with both barrels. And he has given them more than enough ammunition so they can even be self-righteously honest about his many faults and frequent stumbles and fumbles.

    I also could be completely full of it and the McCain campaign is holding fire because they saw what happened to Senator Clinton’s campaign if they even dared question the crappy little poser. Media may not be Senator McCain’s friend to the extent that it has been before. That alone should tell any “REAL” liberal what’s wrong with Obama. If media prefers Obama to McCain, Obama is not a friend to the people.

          Could be that right now McCain is keeping quiet because Obama is sticking his fat foot in his mouth every time he speaks. He’s doing so well self-destructing why get in the way?

          Given that this is supposed to be the year that Democrats can’t lose; Obama should be waaaay out in front. Instead he’s got a couple of point, some even within the margin of error, lead. Not a good sign when the GOP still hasn’t begun to fight.

          He’s flip-flopping like a fish in the bottom of the boat and some media are starting to notice. Well I’m sure they noticed before, it’s just that some few are starting to actually report his flip-flopping and the anger it has engendered in some of his adoring fans. (Have to laugh every time I type such drivel. What adult in their right mind is stupid enough to “adore” a politician? Any politician?)

          I like and respect Senator Clinton and hoped she would be our nominee. I just don’t see how that can happen at this point. I don’t see the Democratic Leadership or the DNC allowing it to happen.

          I saw her as a hard-working pragmatist. Someone to admire and respect. Left worship at the church door and adore back with adolescence.

          I too think the Repubs are in a holding pattern.
          The only time they come out swinging is over McCain’s military service or Nobama’s flip-flop position on the war. That’s the line in the sand they won’t let Nobama cross. But they are letting him walk on gas prices and the outreach to evangelicals. They don’t want to knock him off before the convention. They don’t want to go up against Hillary. Come September- the fur will fly!

          I agree, its a risky move for McCain. They are banking on this year being like all others. That most people will not pay much attention to the race until summer is over, kiddies back in school, and TV viewing increases.

          The Republicans can’t claim the high ground this time. That blunts the effectiveness of their attacks.

          People with residual Hope®, are already defensive about their dupedom, and would become more so in response to Republican attacks on the object of their waning infatuation.

      I tend to agree. Repub’s don’t want to go against Hillary. They believe until the convention is over there is still a chance Hillary could be the nominee. After August, I believe they will make mincemeat of Barack Obama. He is being arrogant now because he has been protected. If they don’t do that then I can’t imagine what they are up to.

        If Hillary was justly nominated, the GOP would only get about a dozen or so votes in the General Election, that is why they are being complacent. Bi-partisanship would become a reality and Americans would be led back to peace and prosperity. Hillary would create way too much Unity for them to stomach. What would the Talking Heads have to talk about? MSNBC would have to have 24 hour coverage on child predators and life in prison.

        They know America-at-large is ready for true leadership in her capabilities. They know she is ready on Day One to restore America in the eyes of the world. Plus, too, she promised to clean up the White House on Day One.

        Can’t have that, now can we?

        As The DNC as proven, we can’t have it either or the Shell Games would be put to rest. Ted Kennedy and his niece and all their cohorts would be very sad and disappointed.

    Everyone knows this primary was a pre-wired farce. The fix was in when Kennedy jumped ship to Obama.

    The caucuses were shams. Refusing to count Florida and Michigan was outrageous. The media’s decision to favor Obama in an effort to get him elected was irresponsible. Democratic leadership trying to force Hillary to quit and refusing to let the system play out is unacceptable as is the excuse given that they did not want to upset the black base that heavily supports Obama.

    The Democratic leadership should have condemned Obama’s church and withdrawn their support once they were aware of the what that church stood for and the hatred the came out of it. Obama should have been a man, accepted responsibility for his poor judgment and character, and dropped out of the race.

    I know that McCain is doing pretty well. I live in PA and let me tell you that its close here. It should not be close here. It should be blue but its not. He is barely winning any state he is winning which means after the Oct. surprise he will be lucky to have any blue states.

        In CA too and it will sadly go Obama, but hope my vote keeps it from being even remotely a mandate here. Schwarzenegger is no longer popular and cannot pull in McCain votes and we are doggedly “liberal” as shown by our inability to govern ourselves or show fiscal restraint.

        CA is in the hands of the public employee unions and so is Obama. First visit he makes after declaring himself the Dem Chosen One is to go hat in hand to the SEIU and give them a blank check written on the Bank of the US Taxpayers.

        It is all about greed and feeding at the public trough out here in CA and that is Obama’s main constituency. Please explain what part of “change” I can still believe in?

        I live in CA too and I’m worried because as hill20212 said, Hillary won here. But this state recalled a governor in favor of Gov. Arnold..no experience, he said nothing about policy, just kept saying he was going “blow up the boxes” and macho lines from his movies. College kids loved him.

      I personally don’t need that tape to surface. I have taken a great deal of time in learning all about this farce and his background here on he Mainland since he arrived in South Chicago.

      The fact that the MSM hid the truth about his Church affiliations until after Super Tuesday is all I need to know about them.

      Does anyone remember hearing Chris Matthews guffaw last summer: “I wish it wasn’t still July, I wish it was October so we could start destroying Hillary”? St. Tim Russertt also said something on air to that effect, as well.

    If the repubs don’t turn up the heat soon then it will be that much harder to drop OB on his a**. I think that was part of HRC’s problem. Her campaign gurus goofed by not hitting harder, earlier. I just hope they have OB in their sights and are ready to let it fire. Maybe it just seems harder for all of us who want him taken down now so HRC could still get a chance. Wishful thinking, but who knows? I always look at the bright side and believe anything is possible until it for 100% isn,t anymore.

    I have no idea what the hell the Republicans are waiting on, there is so much out there to turn the heat up on Obama but seems to me that McCain is either too old for the fight, or he wants to run a gentlemen campaign.

    All this soft speaking, gentle lines is not going to get him anywhere, Obama is going to get a foothold in several states and the Republicans will not know what hit them it would be too late to stop the flow.

    I don’t believe that its the fact that they are staying quiet because they don’t want Hillary to get the nod, that is crap its either they want the WH or not. I think this is how McCain wants to run this campaign, he is hoping the nice guy image will get him by, and to me that is what is going to make his loose this race.

    This race is not for the faint of heart and if McCain knew he was not up for the rough and tumble of politics he should not of run, there were others out there Huck, Romney a host of other men that would of been taking it to the floor with Obama by now, all this wait and see crap is not going to go in their favor watch and see.

    Maybe crap, but it’s a fact. The GOP will be playing good cop / bad cop in the McCain campaign. McCain will let his surrogrates and the 527′s do the dirty work while he maintains his “above it all” image.

    The 527′s and surrogates ARE waiting for Hillary to be out of the picture. Especially now that she taken such drastic (and sickening) steps to repair her relationship to the Obama supporters.

    She is the threat to them. Obama is not. There is so much damning information out there about Obama that nobody will take him seriously when the 527′s and surrogates finish with him.

    The GOP is playing on a fine line. They HOPE against HOPE that Obama will hold on until the convention.

    They are conflicted about these flip-flops so early because the negative fall-out may actually start Obama on a downward spiral and deliver the nomination to Hillary.

    On the other hand, they need Obama tamped down somewhat to keep him from establishing a lead they cannot overcome in the two months between the convention and the November election.

    Like I said, they’re navigating a narrow strategy.

    On today’s Sunday political shows, the GOP surrogates are making a little (very little) fuss over the flip-flops but nothing major. McCain himself and the heavy surrogates are nowhere to be seen.

    We can only hope that Obama’s campaign dies by a thousand small cuts before the convention. How his passionate anti-war, personal privacy and separation of church / state supporters react to all these flip-flops will tell us if this man will be imploded before the convention.

    I promise you, the GOP will attempt to keep Obama’s candidacy alive and reasonably well until August 30.

    CLUE: There are millions and millions of dollars in 527 ads out there already done – but have you seen a single one run on TV yet? McCain is losing in the polls. Why else would they be holding back other than to get by the Hillary factor?

    Linda, I have no idea why they are holding back, maybe its the Hillary factor I don’t feel so because they may well have to run against a Obama/Hillary ticket the way things are looking.

    If the Republicans wants to fall asleep and play wait and see with Obama, I have a strange feeling that will not work out for them in the long run.

    Obama is going to play this game and to him his ace is once he feels he is losing a grip on this thing I bet anything he is going to be sucking up to Hillary to bail him out, and offer her the Vp spot, what will the GOP do then throw all their guns at Obama, it will be too late they will loose.

    SJ – you may be right. They could easily misjudge Obama. Like I said, it’s a dangerous game they’re playing and Obama has continually defied expectations with his blind followers.

    I don’t believe Hillary will ever be on a ticket with Obama. He will never choose her unless he is so far down that she is his only hope.

    If he is that far down, she will never agree to go on the ticket with him – why should she?

    Timing is everything in this election cycle. Obama will have to choose his Vice-President before the convention ends. If he is so far down by the convention that he has to turn to Hillary, what’s to keep her from taking the nomination for herself then?

    Can you imagine how angry it will make Hillary supporters if the DNC forces her to “rescue” the young f**k*d up man from his own inadequacies and poor judgments by agreeing to be on his ticket.

    Even the super delegates should know better than to open that can of worms!

      thanks for your discussion…these are things I’ve been wondering as well, and my thinking presently is that it is the Hillary factor they are unsure of. Especially because we PUMAs and others are “still alive” and quite well (i.e., lots of stuff on Obama; pressure on DNC for roll call and HRC name on the ballot) well into July. Long after the supposed “grief” period and phases are supposed to be “over” and unity abounding.

      That said, we must become strategic on our side too. For example, the specific focus should be open convention with HRC on the ballot & roll call (also Edwards); retire her debt;

      In the background, we must continue & support TexasDarlin’s and JimJ’s research on the birth certificate. This leads to simply , he is not a natural born citizen. Dual citizenship is possible My guess is that Obama was not born in Hawaii (visit as a weeks old baby in late august to WA; non-likelihood of infant travel on plane in 1961; lack of hospital info,; born “dunham” or “stanley”). The discovery of the fake birth certificate IS serious and should be answered via calls for his public showing of his birth certificate.

      Lastly, we let him undo himself, and keep pointing it out in excruciating detail. Let the obamabots wither as they wake-up and smell the COFFEE, not the koolaid. Let them be embarassed. Not all will leave him, but those who stay can be easilly embarassed by their own and Obama’s words and called “apologists” loudly and widely.

          Used to be, I could not make a statement anywhere on any blog without being attacked by a handful of ‘bots. Now, I can’t buy one and have to talk to you guys.

          I’ve done some blogging over at Newswire (MSNBC and Newsweek), and the Obama bloggers outnumbered the Hillary bloggers 5 to 1.

          Now I think they are either sitting quietly trying to figure out where they went wrong or they’re blogging over at Obama’s website – giving him hell for his CHANGES (sic).

          Can’t wait for this week’s new polls to see if this “HELLO” THE REAL OBAMA WEEK will make a difference.

    Hope you had a great weekend. (off topic)
    I just received a call from Jan Kaplan. He is a supporter calling for the BO campaign. Mr. Kaplan wanted me to support BO since I was an attendee at the recent BO Butte Montana picnic. Pumas what is so hilarious about the whole thing is that I was not allowed in the event along with hundreds of others, and I have contacted the local paper to have research done as to why this happened. Mr. Kaplan expressed his deepest regrets that I was unable to attend and blamed it all on the secret service.

    I told him I would never support BO and that I will remain a firm Hillary supporter. I also let him know that I am a proud PUMA and that I will never follow BO into the darkness. I guess they got my number from the Hillary roles since I purposely did not put it on the roster when I picked up my Golden Picnic tickets.

    As an update it seems that an individual on the No Quarter blog has called the BO campaign and asked why we were locked out of the picnic. The response was that the metal detectors had gone down and it was supposed to be only for 15 minutes. Once they were up and running again we were to be let in. I cannot believe this since we were told they were done for the day allowing anyone into the event.

    I wonder if I tripped the pod people’s radar since I have never been called or e-mailed by the BO campaign. WOOT!! I feel special now!!
