Guess the Nobel Peace Prize will look good on his resume when he has to get a real job in 2012. My pet Boxer is more worthy than the current recipient, plus she is much more humble.Gee, how do I get her voted in next year????

When you wish upon a star? Well, I guess that star is none other than Emperor Ego O-bla-bla. It’s one thing for the Nobel Prize committee to grant the award to MaoBama–it’s quite another for the Big 0 to accept it. He must realize he hasn’t done ANYTHING to merit this honor. There is no end to his arrogance.
But after witnessing this, I now have hope that one of my first grade students can win the award. They all want people to stop fighting and be nice to each other too. If wishes were horses then beggars would ride. Just another chapter in the Obama Fairytale presidency. Nothing is real—Strawberry Fields forever.

I guess that even HuffPo is a bit squeamish about bestowing all that glory on someone who has yet to prove himself, so they have to justify it in some way. Since I didn’t vote for BO, I probably can’t claim my share of the $1.4M booty.

Also, wondering how the Dalai Lama (a previous DESERVING laureate) feels about being recently snubbed by the new man on the block.

This question is directed towards our resident squatter obamabots: When will your pretend President EVER live up to his hype? Give me specifics about what he has actually done during any point in his miserable existence for which he deserves all the unthinking adoration that you give him. Don’t give me links to speeches or to websites of his adoring slack-jawed mouth-breathers, either. You bots need to actually answer this question in your own tortured English using your own fractured logic. You can’t and won’t, though, because even as addled as your are and even though you bought it all hook, line, and sinker, you really know deep, deep down that you were had and you’re just too embarrassed to admit it.

I say he’s all stilted, gobbledegook talk and no action at all. He is inert in every sense of the word.

I have to agree with all Americans who realize that the credibility of the Nobel Prize has just been completely undermined. Even in the very heavily pro-Obama city in which I live, the local surveys indicate that people don’t think BO deserved this award. It is embarrassing and demonstrates the power of “packing,” even outside this country….I’m very sad for the actual cause of peace and the many hard-working people and just causes that have been over been overlooked for this TV moment….

I live in Baltimore where 92% of people voted for Obama. Even here, in academic, pro-Obama circles, this award was a total shock and the people were initially disappointed with Oslo’s decision. “Obama did not deserve it”. Well, it took a Nobel to open their eyes. For several hours.
