The Number Is Growing: Do. Not. Want. Barack. Obama.

It’s as if our antibodies are successfully fighting a viral intrusion against our well-being. That’s what Barack Obama is, you know. An intrusion. He was forced upon us by his own cheating and thuggishness, with the help of his fellow thieves at the DNC.

Now word has it he wants to truncate the convention. Shorthand for that means no first ballot with Clinton’s name on it. He thinks this means he is going to bypass a vote and continue on with his charade unscathed. In reality he is bypassing 18,000,000 Democratic voters. And we are watching. So, I suspect they will have some kind of bogus vote in the end, all orchestrated to try to con those of us who do not accept Barack Obama to “fall into line”. Comrade Obama just doesn’t get it. He will though.

CNN, of all places, issued a poll that shows that the divide Barack Obama has created in the Democratic Party is growing instead of shrinking. As of today more Hillary Clinton supporters are refusing to support him than the number on June 1.

A growing number of Clinton supporters polled say they may stay home in November instead of casting their ballot for Obama, an indication the party has yet to coalesce around the Illinois senator four weeks after the most prolonged and at times divisive primary race in modern American history came to a close.

According to a CNN/Opinion Research Corp. poll released Friday, the number of Clinton supporters who plan to defect to Republican Sen. John McCain’s camp is down from one month ago, but — in what could be an ominous sign for Obama as he seeks to unify the party — the number of them who say they plan to vote for Obama is also down, and a growing number say they may not vote at all.

It seems that in early June, 60% of Hillary supporters said they would vote for the Democrats’ appointed Thief In Chief, Barack Obama. Now 60% isn’t anything to be holding a parade about to begin with is it? But alas, they wanted to give us “four weeks” to reach the next phase of their moronic “mourning process” theory. As a reward for their abject stupidity and unwillingness to recognize that we just plain aren’t going to vote for this shithead, this new poll revealed that the number has dropped to 54%. That’s right folks. Six percent more of Clinton’s supporters have flat out said they will not vote for the lying sexist duplicitous panderer, Barack Obama. If that isn’t a big enough message, 43% of the entire party still wish Hillary Clinton was the nominee instead of Barky Obama.

Gasp!!!! But how could that be!! Why Barack Obama color-coordinated his tie with Hillary’s blue suit and everything! How could this be???

Well….in keeping with the ongoing CNN Obama Fellatio Party, they have an explanation for that! It’s not so bad!

After a month of listening to talking heads up their talking asses, they are still discussing the “mourning period.” In the same way they decided we were all “Downscale voters” during the Primary, they are now deciding that, once we Hillary Clinton supporters complete the “mourning process,” we will hop right in line. This is the euphemism for the “Get Over It” process that Comrade Obama subscribes to. The problem is, we aren’t following the mourning sequence properly. We are bad mourners! So we need “Four more weeks”. No kidding. Somebody actually said that. You can’t make this shit up.

Here is what CNN’s own Mr. Magoo, Bill Schneider had to say about this little problem of Barack Obama’s:

“These things always take time to heal,” said Bill Schneider, CNN senior political analyst. “I think Clinton’s supporters are waiting to see if Sen. Obama will pick her as vice president. That would certainly be very healing to them.”

Are you done laughing yet? Good because it gets better:

“If he doesn’t pick her, a later stage of grief is depression and then acceptance,” Schneider said. “In the end I expect Clinton supporters will accept Obama, because they will listen to Sen. Clinton, who has said the stakes are too high for Democrats to sulk.”

Can you believe this guy? Somebody actually pays this guy to babble like this? I thought Dick Morris had his head up his butt, but this Magoo Schneider guy could teach a course in fantasy analysis. He just doesn’t want to recognize that

We. Do. Not. Want. Barack. Obama.

Where are his statistics in this poll that say that we are waiting with baited breath, wishing, hoping, or otherwise praying for Barky to pick Hillary Clinton as his VP? Anybody? Anybody?

(Bueller? Bueller? Bueller?)

::::Crickets::::

In fact, selecting Hillary as his VP would only mean that most of us would have to vote against Hillary.

Because We. Do. Not. Want. Barack. Obama.

We don’t like him.

We don’t trust him with our country.

We don’t trust him with our lives.

And we definitely do not trust him with women’s rights.

We don’t trust him with the war. We don’t trust him with the economy. We don’t trust him on gun control, FISA, abortion, Separation of Church and State. We don’t trust him with social security. We don’t trust him with healthcare. In fact, we don’t trust him on a single damned issue. We think he’s a liar. And a morally bankrupt thief. What’s more, we don’t like his wife either.

We are not without IQ, BIll. We understand the difference between the President of the United States and the Vice President of the United States. Honest! What part of this are you having a hard time “analyzing”?

The last thing we want is to watch this mediocre man select a superior woman to hold his ass up and carry him over the line like he had to be carried over the line to the faux “nomination”. We do not want Hillary caught standing next to him much less be picked as his VP. We don’t want her to get any on her, if you get my drift. We want Hillary to stay right where she is so we can pick up where we left off in four years. But that’s Ok, Bill. You just keep your head up your ass and keep taking those polls every four weeks and see how well it works out for you when we still don’t match up with the “stages of mourning”. Because we are not mourning, Bill. We just plain Do. Not. Want. Barack. Obama. So you just keep pretending that we are “depressed” instead of seriously pissed off. Let me save you some polling analysis work: There is only One Stage to this process, Bill. The Defeat of Barack Obama.

But don’t worry about all of this Bill. No need to be concerned at all.

After all, 46% of 18,000,000 is only 8,280,000 voters.

Barky doesn’t need those votes or anything, right? He’s going to turn states that haven’t voted Democratic since the 60s Blue. He’s going to talk those Evangelicals into thinking he is Jesus. Or better yet, he’s just going to be coronated before November 4. (Those pesky legal elections with actual opponents are such a pain, aren’t they Comrade???) In fact, to watch him strut, prance and preen– nose in the air, head turned so his ear can hear the roar of the Planned Crowd– you would think he has already been coronated as Comrade in Chief. Frankly, I am thrilled that he is so narcissistic. It will make the sending of his smarmy ass back to his Chicago political cesspool all the more pleasurable. Or to quote a friend from Chicago, “I almost wish he would win, then we wouldn’t get him back“.

The analysts said maybe more than four weeks is needed for many of Clinton’s most devoted supporters to move past her loss, especially considering the primary campaign stretched more than 17 months.

“Many voters find it tough to immediately switch allegiances to a candidate that they once opposed, so they find a ‘neutral’ setting more comfortable for awhile,” said Keating Holland, CNN polling director. “If that’s what is happening to the Clinton supporters who now say they plan to stay at home, Obama may have nothing to worry about. If not, there’s a big chunk of the party base that Obama won’t be able to count on in November.”

In the meantime, CNN, you just keep waiting for us to reach the “later stages of grief” onto “acceptance,” ya hear??? Give us four more weeks. And four more. And four more….

According to recent polls, Sen. Barack Obama is doing extremely well in states that have voted Republican in recent presidential elections.

Montana: Bush won by 11 points in 2004, Obama leading McCain by 5 points
    Colorado: Bush +4, Obama +5
    Virginia: Bush +8, Obama +2
New Mexico: Bush +1, Obama +3
    Florida: Bush +5, Obama +2
    Indiana: Bush +20, Obama +1
    Georgia: Bush +16, McCain +1
    Mississippi: Bush +20, McCain +4
    Alaska: Bush +26, McCain +4
North Carolina: Bush +13, McCain +4

The only poll that matters to me is the polling place where I will vote for Hillary if she is nominated or McCain if Waffles gets “nominated.” Millions of people will quietly vote as I will but will tell their friends and pollsters they support Waffles from the climate of fear the Waffles campaign has created.

      • youngin

I have to pretend I support Obama or else I get bashed upside the head by all of my friends. Somehow just because I went to college and am under 30 that means I obviously should support him. I don’t trust him. Something deep inside my gut, screams BAD IDEA the same way it did about Bush in 2000. How did that turn out?

        • wodiej

          good for you!

          • csuzeq

I believe there are many more who are pretending they will vote for him, but when in the privacy of their own ballot will not.

Thats exactly how I feel. i get the same bad feeling that I got about bush. I have learned to trust my feelings on that since Bush. Bush had all these red flags too, but people thought that everyone was against his “message of hope”. This is the second election now in a row that a canidate has set the fallicous argument that if the establishment is against me, I must be right. I wonder when everyone will stop calling to authority and start looking at the evidence in front of their faces.

        Just a comment and a question….

Currently Ralph Nadar is polling at 6%; if he reaches 10% he will be more visible in debates, etc. The more visibility, the more potential.

Since Nadar’s positions are closer to Hillary’s than McCains, and Nadar votes are siphoning BO’s votes, why aren’t more PUMAs taking this track?

        Just asking…

        • stateofdisbelief

It certainly difuses the Obama camp’s propoganda about PUMA’s agenda

          • stateofdisbelief

Oh…and is a better option than staying home and sitting this one out.

            • sjc-tx

We aren’t just “protest” voting… We want the MOST qualified… Nadar ain;t it! Its only McCain if Hillary isn;t in by Aug. Nadar is as spooky and goofy as obassole… he just doesn;t always act it. He is all about ego and vainity as well as obmassole… Just listen to him sometime…

For every one of us who votes for McCain, Obama has to get two votes to come out ahead.

Besides, no offense to Ralph but he just can’t get over that he’s not famous like he was decades ago. It eats at him and it shows. Those where the days when ralph spoke and everybody jumped. Those days are gone. He needs go go fishing or something. He was great as a Corporate Raider but he’s nothing that even closely resembles Presidential material.

I thought about supporting Nader. But he wasn’t particularly supportive of Hillary. And the thing is, Obama scares me so much that I think it’s important that he’s defeated in November, and a vote for Nader is not the best way to stop Obama.

          • http://OTliesvideo Lyn

That’s how I feel. I would be afraid if people vote for Nader, Obama could have a bigger chance of winning than if Dems vote for McCain.
and as a side note, I am not changing parties until after Novemebr. I WANT to be counted as a Dem voting for McCain.

“and as a side note, I am not changing parties until after Novemebr. I WANT to be counted as a Dem voting for McCain.”

Yep. Same here. I am still a registered Democrat.

I’m not changing my party. I want to take it back. Like the last time the left wing loonies tried to hijack it. And the time before….and the time before. I am not leaving my party. I am helping to marginalize the radical nutjobs. Again.

Nader originally said he was only going to run if it looked like Hillary would get the nod.

Total bs. When it was obvious the fix was in for Obama he came in just the same.

He screwed the Green Party. Nader is just for Nader. Cult asshole.

When LaRouche finally bites the dust we’ll still be dealing with Naderites every damned election.

All these maniacs LOVE the attention they get from the people who buy the “third” party meme.

        • Lou

Many are voting for Nadar. In fact there are more and more every day. My family for one. I’m going with Big Mac. Big Mac came down on Bush for not having a war plan and in a brief time got the war succeeding with the plan he gave to Bush McFlightsuit. I don’t agree with everything Big Mac believes in but at least I know what they are. He does whats right and won’t disrespect others. So what if he has a temper. Join the club..that’s most Americans.

I think he will pick Romney to gain the extreme right votes even if he doesn’t like him.
At least they have nice wives.

          • Clinton Fan

If Sailor Boy picks Romney, I won’t vote for him. Mitt Romney was the WORST GOVERNOR in the history of the state of Massachusetts…though his successor, Barack’s pal, is trying hard to grab that crown.

If McCain were smart, he’d pick a woman VP. One with legislative experience–NOT a CEO, not a cabinet member. Someone who has been ELECTED to public office and knows how to campaign.

            • http://uppitywoman08.wordpress.com Uppity Woman

I hear Deval Patrick is even worse. I am not fond of Mitt though. He’s arrogant like Barky.

            • Sharyn

              McCain’s VP:

I’m surprised Christie Todd Whitman’s name hasn’t come up. She has executive experience and is very strong on the environment (a hot topic right now). She’s popular with Independents too. She’d be a draw for p’d off Dem women too.

              • Sara in PA

Christie Todd Whitman would be a great choice for McCain. So would Sarah Palin from Alaska. I don’t necessarily agree with them on all points but they are solid choices. I’m glad that he respects women unlike Barry. The women who McCain are around – his family and his politcal team are all very respectable and good people. Michelle Obama, on the other hand, makes my skin crawl. I’d love it if McCain would pick Hillary for his cabinet or some other important role. That would help him and help her! And, of course, help the country!!!!!!!

                • NoBama

                  C. Todd Whitman has been blamed to large part for not telling firemen, volunteers and residents around the WTC site of the envionmental dangers after the 9/11 attack . She will never be picked for anything or run for public office again.

Ultimately, because Nader cost us the 2000 election. A Nader vote was a vote for W. in 2000. This is just another chance for Nader to be in the limelight. He’ll vanish once again the first Wednesday in Novemeber.

I will support McCain because he was on John Kerry’s shortlist for VP four years ago.

I will support McCain because Joe Lieberman does; And Joe Lieberman knows what the DNC is really all about (Lamont).

I will support McCain because he was against the torture Obama supported.

I will support McCain because he has said Donald Rumsfeld will be remembered as the worst Secretary of Defense in all of the history of this nation.

I will support McCain because substance means more the eloquence.

I will support McCain because the DNC had taken to using the tactics we so despised in 2000 and 2004.

I will vote McCain unless Hillary Clinton is restored as the Democratic Nominee.

          • C D Ward

            Jimbus sez:
Ultimately, because Nader cost us the 2000 election. A Nader vote was a vote for W. in 2000. . . .

Donna Brazile, Gore’s campaign manager — great ‘judgement’ there, Albert — desperately wants you to believe that. It makes a great excuse (for her own ineptitude), don’t you think? Howard Dean certainly does; he repeats it for her at every opportunity.

Big Al lost his home state of Tennessee, just as he did Big Dog’s home state of Arkansas. Oh-for-two. Donna probably won’t remind you of that, though. Go figure, huh?

Plus, there’s that little matter of roughly a quarter million of your fellow Democrats (in Florida alone) who intentionally voted for the Republican candidate. (Just as some are already proactively planning to do this year.)

[. . .] During almost all of 2000, Bush led Gore with the major exception of a month-long period following the Democratic convention. During this high point for Gore, Nader was pulling a running average of 2-4% in the polls. While it is true that during October, Nader began pulling a running average of 6% at a time when Gore was fading, Gore continued to lose ground even as Nader’s support dropped to its final 3%. In other words, despite the help of defectors from Nader, Gore did worse.

Further, as Michael Eisencher reported in Z Magazine, 20% of all Democratic voters, 12% of all self-identified liberal voters, 39% of all women voters, 44% of all seniors, one-third of all voters earning under $20,000 per year and 42% of those earning $20-30,000 annually, and 31% of all voting union members cast their ballots for Bush. [. . .]

BO wants to bar 15 million Americans
from health care. Great plan unless you are one of the 15 million without health care–are sick and need health care. The sick and un insured where among the first to be thrown under the bus. Does BO care about the sick and weak –apparently not.

maybe it’s time for PUMA to send some letters to Mr.Schneider. Letters to say, save your polls, no bama in November, we’re already accepting this and you should, too.

These are the same people who cut class to go cheat and terrorize old ladies in caucus, while their parents, who are paying for their education, were too busy at work to caucus.

Believe me, most of us either have one of them on our hands or know someone who does. If anyone’s got “anger” issues, it’s people who don’t share a political viewpoint, yet busily stalk websites where views in opposition to theirs are discussed, in order to drop little turdlets like those that Little Eric scatters here and there.

Since Little Eric knows how to use Spell Check, he’s plainly one of those NO INCOME KIDS WITH EDUCATION.

I feel sorry for Little Eric’s parents. They probably can’t afford to send him to Doctor Freud–and he clearly could use the help– because they’ve spent all their retirement money on his education.

They probably can’t get the little fucker out of their basement, either!

All the “NIKES for Obama” here–it’s kind of interesting. Says alot about the candidate’s base…slackers who live with mom, it would seem!

As long as we keep the eligibility to be President below 70 year old. Just to be fair.

            • http://uppitywoman08.wordpress.com Uppity Woman

McGovern registered a record of 1-20 year olds than can never be matched. It was the first year 18-20 year olds could vote. THey were baby boomers. A HUGE voting block. The volume today is a pittance by comparison. And look how well it worked out for him. That’s because adults don’t want these kids picking presidents.

That’s an insult to Dukakis. Duke was a good governor and the man has a sharp mind. He made good decisions, he did NOT pander, and he did not LIE.

He just couldn’t overcome the fact that he was short with too many eyebrows…and he was a bit wonky.

You can compare them based on poll numbers, but Obama is UNQUALIFIED. Dukakis was not.

        • http://uppitywoman08.wordpress.com Uppity Woman

I’m actually working on a piece on Mike. His shortness didn’t kill him. His overly liberal policies killed him, along with his complete unwillingness to release his medical records (just like Obama). This gave the republicans some serious leeway. He did have some similarities to Obama’s camp, in that he had his surrogates knee cap his competition with a few exaggerations. I believe that Joe Biden got hit with some of that shrappnel.

He scared off the majority of the party AKA moderates.

          • Zee

Dukakis actually saved my life. I was part of a pilot health program for mothers and babies.

      It’s worth posting this again:

Why the Polls Are Skewed Towards Obama

The algorithms used by pollsters are beyond the vast majority of voters. Most people take polls at face value. WRONG.

Pollsters massage their numbers based on what they believe about the electorate. Are pollsters taking into effect PUMAs? I don’t believe they are for two reasons: 1) their state results skew unrealistically towards BHO and are out of sync with the national polls 2) almost all analysts believe PUMAs will return to the fold.

The only polls I trust right now are Rasmussen’s. He mentioned changing this methodology after BHO self-nominated.

ROFLMAO… I LIVE in the Deep South and let me assure you – Barack Obama will NEVER carry the Deep South (legally). EVERY right-wing, God-fearing, tobacco-chewing, Hank Williams-loving, good ole’ Joe Bob will be high-tailing it out of the woods to get to the polls to vote against his arrogant ass in November.

I don’t know where you got your numbers, but George is WRONG – McCain has the lead there 6.7.

      Also –
      Montana: McCain, +3.7
      Missouri: McCain, +7.0
      N. Carolina: McCain, +4.5
      Texas: McCain, +10.8

      And my homestate –
      Louisiana: McCain, +13.3

Which, when all is said and done, will be more representative of how the Deep South goes. I assure you, Mississippi and Louisiana will never go for Baracula.

The folks in Wyoming KNOW that McCain will carry their state, no doubt. Just like the voters in La. and Mississippi know. Take it from someone who’s lived here all their lives – the South will be Red… SOLID RED.

      • wodiej

they think he has a chance in Indiana too-NOT. Indiana has not went for a Dem for President since 1964 and this will not be the year they do it either.

        • Lou

Remember the article a month back that someone posted showing Ovomit was best friends with the poll survey owners and paid them big bucks to skew the poll numbers? It came out right after the primaries were over.

      • Faustina

I don’t think Obama should count on Colorado either. He seems to be running a TV add during the local evening news at every commercial break here. He can do that until November, it isn’t going to convince anybody of anything.

He doesn’t seem to be talking about the issues, he is talking about himself.

By the way, does Obama have an agricultural or farm policy?

As long as a campaign is underway and candidates are riding around in buses, there will be casualties. Especially for Obama who makes stupid comments and has similarly stupid people around him. Obama’s body count will climb; the Republicans are pros and know how to deal while you can’t see their hands moving. You keep quoting Shooter and Rummy, calling people “deadenders” (which should be tired slang by your own definition), and we’ll keep remarking on Obama throwing old friends under the bus.

        • JozefAL

At past conventions, the counts were done BY VOICE with a toteboard keeping a running total.
The head of each state’s delegation would announce “X# delegates for Candidate A, X# delegates for Candidate B”. If a delegation was unanimous, then the announcement would go, “The State of Such-and-Such proudly casts its full X# delegates for Candidate A” (usually with some sort of descriptive, such as “The Next President of the United States”, before the candidate’s name).

So hard to decide… McCain the Republican or Obama the post-partisan with Republican policies. Which is the better vote to restore the Democratic Party to the principles of democracy and the legacies of FDR? Maybe it’s not so hard after all.

      • http://uppitywoman08.wordpress.com Uppity Woman

Roe v Wade does not concern me one bit. It is a subject the Democratic party has used to keep women in line for far too long. If Pelosi and Reid cared that much they would have done something about it legislatively. If Roe v Wade were overturned, and I believe you have a better chance of seeing God, all that would mean it it would become a States issue. This would take it out of the hands of the democratic blackmailers in the DNC. So up their asses. This is my short answer. If young women are worried about Roe v Wade they sure don’t show it since they are spending all their time spawning over a guy and his vibrating cell phone. So let them eat cell phones. They don’t care to recognize a sexist pig when they see one. That is their loss in the end. They think their rights were always there and take them for granted because they didn’t fight for them. With Barack Obama as president, Re v Wade is the least of their worries “under” a man who has already set back gender relations 30 years. maybe then they will Get It. Women who have been around the block already Get It.

        • wowzers

Let them eat morning after pills.

        • Hadrian

Roe v. Wade has already been re-affirmed by the Supreme Court in Planned Parenthood v Casey. Justice O’Connor, the first woman appointed to the court wrote the opinion for the majority. Justice Kennedy joined in the opinion. It is important to note that both O’Connor and Kennedy were Republican appointees of Ronald Reagan. It’s a non-issue. Presidents can not issue orders to overturn a Supreme Court decisions. The Supreme Court itself can not just issue an opinion overturning a prior decision. those are legal and procedural impossibilities.

        • wodiej

          right on girl!

      • Hadrian

McCain isn’t trying to limit woman’s reproductive rights, that would entail a ban on pregnancies, such as the one child rule in China. Woman in the US have the right to reproduce all they want and no one is stopping them.

      • Ivory Bill Woodpecker

Oh Ceiling Cat, not this old bullshit again!

Once again–the GOP will never overturn Roe v. Wade because they make big, fat, horse-choking wads of campaign money from angry anti-choicers.

Anyone else think that the real reason Obama will be giving his acceptance speech in a football stadium is because the best way to drown out and bully almost two thousand Hillary delegates is to surround them with 74,000 screaming imbeciles?

Does Obama really think that this will look good on TV? Mass meeting of maniacs comes to mind as a good description of what we will see. You can bet we’ll get a lot of close-ups of kids pulling their hair out, “look I’m still cool” middle-aged morons bellowing their lungs out for The One, etc.

Oh, barfy, man, you have to deliver the King man’s speech since it is the anniversary and you are black, man! They are even going further by comparing him to JFK:
“Obama is following in the footsteps of John F. Kennedy, who in Los Angeles, Calif. accepted the Democratic nomination of the 1960s in the Memorial Coliseum. Al Gore, in an endorsement speech from June, compared Obama and Kennedy claiming that the same accusations that circulated around the young Kennedy now appear against Obama.”

They won’t leave me alone. Unsubscribe no worky. He has already taken over the convention…
            Anne —

I wanted you to be the first to hear the news.

At the Democratic National Convention next month, we’re going to kick off the general election with an event that opens up the political process the same way we’ve opened it up throughout this campaign.

Barack has made it clear that this is your convention, not his.

On Thursday, August 28th, he’s scheduled to formally accept the Democratic nomination in a speech at the convention hall in front of the assembled delegates.

Instead, the convention will move to an outdoor stadium where Barack will join more than 75,000 people for a huge, free, open-air event and deliver his acceptance speech to the American people.

It’s going to be an amazing event, and Barack would like you to join him. Free tickets will become available as the date approaches, but we’ve reserved a special place for a few of the people who brought us this far and who continue to drive this campaign.

If you make a donation of $5 or more between now and midnight on July 31st, you could be one of 10 supporters chosen to fly to Denver and spend two days and nights at the convention, meet Barack backstage, and watch his acceptance speech in person. Each of the ten supporters who are selected will be able to bring one guest to join them.

Make a donation now and you could have a front row seat to history:

            https://donate.barackobama.com/DNCconvention

We’ll follow up with more details on this and other convention activities as we get closer, but please take a moment and pass this note to someone you know who might like to be there.

It will be an event you’ll never forget.

            Thank you,

            David

Barack has made it clear that this is your convention, not his.

I got this email also. Love this “it is your convention”, What drivel. If it was our convention there would be a vote and his sorry a** would be voted off the island and the REAL nominee would accept!

I had trouble with unsubscribing, too, and then I just started sending nasty replies about how I will never vote for that fraud. Every time. Not really sure if they went anywhere, but I think they did, I am completely off that list and the DNC’s list! Howard Deand and John Edwards, too.

Every PUMA member should apply for the “free Tickets”. Wouldn’t it be a shame to be so “lucky” to get them and not show up for the event. I will try and get one. Then I am going to rip it up and send it to the DNC. Hell, I’ll even spend $5 for it. It will be worth the empty seat for the empty nominee.

The underlying issue for me is the security ; having the convention and mile high at level one and co-ordinate that is no small feat and expensive. Who pays?

Denver has spent 250k on basic stuff already…Who pays? For Obama’s ego? “our convention” my ass. these fools would spend money “the show” rather than message and media buys. Real frugale eh?

So Mile High is now called Invesco Field? Are they going to rename it for the night?

“CNN, of all places, issued a poll that shows that the divide Barack Obama has created in the Democratic Party is growing instead of shrinking. As of today more Hillary Clinton supporters are refusing to support him than the number on June 1.”

Why are we surprised? There is more buyers remorse for Obama than I’ve ever seen. In addition to being the most mediocre Senator (and Illinois legislator) in a generation, a serial disenfranchiser and flip-flopper, and a fraud/thief, he’s also the most divisive mainstream democratic presidential candidate since George Wallace. In fact, the buyers remorse on this guy would be worse if the champagne liberals weren’t so afraid of being called racist.

If Hillary has any brains, she will pay off her campaign debt, and stay about as far away from Obama’s trainwreck as she possibly can. Don’t touch this disaster with a ten-foot poll, Madame President. Let Obama, and the corrupt elites within the Democratic party who enabled him, go down with the ship.

  • jwrjr

Maybe somebody should ask Schneider how Larry and Moe are doing lately. Waiting for four weeks will not make Obama any less of a disaster then he is now. The onky difference will be that more people know about the joke in bad taste called Barack Hussein Obama.

You really are cherrypicking, but I’ll grant you that FL is not a great state for Obama. Its demographics don’t fit his profile, as it is the oldest state in the country and a pretty Republican state.

But he is ahead in lots of other states – OH, PA, MI, NM, NH, CO – plenty enough to look good for the electoral college.

On NYT today in an article on Veepstakes:

“…Yes, choosing Mrs. Clinton would go some distance in quieting the concerns of her supporters and bringing them behind Mr. Obama this fall. But it is hardly clear that this is a particularly large number of voters. Moreover, Mrs. Clinton brings obvious baggage: she would seem to undercut Mr. Obama’s central call for changing the face of Washington. And what is more, with Mrs. Clinton comes Bill Clinton.”

Does anyone know a precise estimate of the number of PUMAs? I heard it was already close to 3 million. If true, this would be over 16% of the 18 million that voted for Clinton, not an insignificant fraction and hopefully, this is just the start. Someone should send NYT the official estimates of the PUMA numbers so that they stop talking through their collective asses.

    • http://uppitywoman08.wordpress.com Uppity Woman

As I said, we know the differenct between VP and President. VPs can’t ruin countries. Presidents can. I have a hard time believing that Clinton supporters would just fall at Barky’s feet if he picked her to be his thinker and worker. In the end, which VP was it who said this?…..The VP isn’t worth a bucket of warm spit. He would be president and, in spite of the “analysis” that’s what I object to.

      • RoryBellows

        Uhh. Cheney?

        • K. Wynne

Well, that was the game plan all along to let Cheney be the President, while GW was the puppet.

Hillary should never agree to be BO’s VP. She has far more power as a Senator from NY than a VP attending funerals. What a waste that would be!

More importantly, were anything to happen to BO, she would be blamed for sure. She’s too smart to pur herself in that position.

Someone should ask them that if this is really true then why does Ovomit need them? Their baggage wasn’t too huge for the Unity Party. Two faced pundits.

    • John

The media LOVES to tell us that Bill Clinton is a negative, which is an absolute joke. He’s a negative to MEDIA TYPes because they dont like him and never have; he’s a huge POSITIVE to the rank and file. And that drives the media nuts- they’ve never understood how the Clintons refuse to become unpopular and go away no matter how much they are battered by the likes of Olbermann and Blitzer and Matthews. The media resents the Clintons’ success and continuously tries to convert the public to it’s anti-Clinton stance. So we will continue to hear crap like “Bill Clinton’s baggage,” which exists only in the minds of the idiot talking heads.

      • Newly Independent

        Isn’t it the absolute truth?

It drives the stupid media ABSOLUTELY mad to know that the Clintons are well-loved and accepted by millions of Americans to this day. Only their spoiled, evil asses hate the Clintons. And the media STILL hasn’t been able to turn the majority of America against Bill and Hillary – no matter how hard they’ve tried.

      • believe

First, the party was not outraged because Gore won the popular vote, but because the recount in FL was stopped.

Second, the validity of a win based on the electoral college was not challenged, since those were the rules set ahead of time and everyone knew what those were.

Third, the popular vote number you folks use is flawed and, in any case, the nomination rules don’t use that as the rule for determining the nomination. The nomination is based on delegates.

Fresh from their love-in at Unity, Senators Barack Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton will collect cash together for his campaign, the Democratic National Committee and her mountain of debt in New York City on Wednesday and Thursday.

Obama campaign officials believe Mrs. Clinton’s fund-raisers could raise $50 to $75 million for him in the coming weeks. Some of Mrs. Clinton’s top money collectors met with Mr. Obama in Washington last month, but that event was billed more as a chance to get to know him and to offer Clinton supporters a sense of closure, as opposed to an official fund-raiser.

I was just at a pro-Hillary blog that referenced an article called “Hillary’s Entrenched Supporters Spit in Her Face” at “the bruce blog” complete with Obama’s logo. I stay away from anything pro-Obama, so it was almost scary to go over there. Anyway, they are convinced that Hillary supporters will see the light and back Obama and if they don’t, they were probably all Republicans anyway.

    From one of the comments:

“They are all underestimating Obama. If he can’t get their votes he’ll get someone else’s. That’s why he’s running a 50 state campaign. He is blowing their minds with his innovative thinking.”

It is strange to step outside the pro-Hillary world. It does feel like we are living in a parallel universe. The pro-Obama people simply have no idea why we won’t support him. Thank goodness for sites like NoQuarter to help us keep our sanity. I still believe Obama will implode and Hillary will be asked to step in and save the day! Let’s hope.

    ROFLMAO!

Love the Magoo imagery…well intentioned but just stoopid :-)

Magoo and et al at CNN, MSNBC, NBC, CBS, and ABC just don’t get it. There is such a disconnect b/w the MSM world and blogosphere.

Magoo’s words are so patronizing. It’s almost like he’s suggesting that we should all take some Mydol and just get over it. We’re just doing that woman thing…you know…being BITCHY!

      you don’t even know.

good luck with getting him in office. if that’s what you want you can’t do that here, it won’t work. So get serious and get to work and get out of here, or get the fuck out of here.

Hey Saddam had minders when Richard Butler came to visit too.

  • Joe Smith

I know a number of Democrats who can’t stand BUSH. They dislike him to the point that they have to turn the channel if he comes on for more then 5 seconds. I am sure there are plenty of you who feel the same way. The funny thing is they feel the same way about Obama. There is something about the guy that people don’t like. I just don’t see how anybody can get over that feeling.

    • nickoury

I also do the exact same thing. stinky is a total jackass and those who think he is in any way sincere are delusional.

  • hootnannie

After decades of losing the Reagan Democrats to Republican presidential candidates, the party actually thinks we’re going to be Yellow Dogs and vote for the worst excuse the Dems have ever put forth for the highest office in the land? And the Obamaniac MSM continues to talk over and around us like we’re not even there! I guess they think we’re out hunting or attending revival meetings. Well, not all the time, boys and girls!

    • Lou

That’s one of their biggest strategies. Ignore so you don’t exist. They did it with Hillary and Larry Sinclair. Now us.

  • CheatedFLVoter

Thanks Uppity, stay after them. Have you heard if anyone has figured in the defection rate from the Dems? I don’t know how they could figure an accurate poll without it. I left the party right after the FL primary and a lot of others have done the same. We didn’t all change to the same affiliation, I went Idt, others did differently. I guess the only way to know would be to count after primary defections from each state. Any ideas? I don’t know how a poll could be accurate if they only counted people who didn’t leave the party after they voted for Hillary.

  • Deelee

“The date is set for Obama to become the nation’s first African-American major party nominee”.

    I don’t know how many times I’ve said it but, “Obama is not an African-American. He’s a bi-racial ARAB-AMERICAN (43.75% arab-50% white).

According to the State Dept. to qualify for the status of AA there must be at the very least, one eighth (12.5%)AA heritage in a persons geneology.

    Obama only has 6.25%

I hate to say it but, for all you AA’s that think he’s one of you, he ain’t and I bet he does’nt give a damn about you. So, I guess you’ve been hoodwinked and bamboozled and it wasn’t by a white person this time.

No, they just make up the designations, pulled out of their institutional ass for their demographic reports. The State department might loose a laptop or two but they are really good at other stuff. Like evaluating aluminum tubes.

Clintons4McCain Launches New Weekly Radio Show

–Empowering Voters Nationwide, New Show to Cover Politics & Issues Ignored by Main Stream Media–

Washington, DC – Working to empower voters nationwide, the maverick group of Hillary Clinton supporters, Clintons4McCain, has launched a new weekly radio show. The interactive 60-minute show, originating from cities across the United States, will focus on politics and current affairs ignored by the Main Stream Media. The show will air every Saturday from 5pm to 6pm EST on the BlogTALKRadio network. Anyone with a computer can listen from anywhere in the world at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/clintons4mccain and listeners can take part in the conversation by calling (347) 633-9273.

The Clintons4McCain radio show will include interviews with nationally-known newsmakers and Washington insiders, plus allow disaffected voters to voice their frustrations over the 2008 Democratic primary season. “Our goal is to educate voters, help shape America’s future and to do the job the American media should have been doing all along,” said the group’s founder, Cristi Adkins.

Adkins, featured on the Fox News Channel, CNN, the Washington Post and dozens of other media outlets, will join other concerned voters – Anne Franklin, Robin Carlson and Peter Boykin – as rotating hosts for the show. “People don’t think their voice matters,” said Carlson. “This show will allow voters to express their viewpoints and take a stand against this year’s unjust and fraudulent election process.”

Opponents have accused Clintons4McCain members of being republican operatives, a charge the group finds amusing. “We’re real voters – Democrats, Independents and moderate Republicans” said Anne Franklin. “Clinton is our first preference. If, somehow Hillary pulls off the nomination before August, we’ll no longer be Clintons4McCain, we’ll be Clintons4Hillary!”

Peter Boykin says, “It’s no secret that many Hillary supporters are extremely disgruntled over Barack Obama being “anointed” the Democratic presidential nominee by special interest groups, not elected by American voters. That’s why we’re seeing an ever-growing coalition of groups banding together, fighting to take America back!”

For more information about Clintons4McCain, visit their website at http://www.clintons4mccain.com. If you’d like to suggest interview topics or schedule guest speakers, email Catherine Couch at nomeansnobama@hotmail.com or contact Cristi Adkins at cristi@clintons4mccain.com. Registration for BlogTalkRadio is easy, just go to http://www.blogtalkradio.com/register.aspx.

    Clintons4McCain Founders

    Cristi Adkins, RN Cht

Registered nurse and frequent FOX NEWS CHANNEL television and radio contributor, Cristi Adkins is a spokesperson and co-founder for Clintons4McCain.com. Cristi has joined former Vice Presidential candidate Joe Lieberman and others to throw their support behind the Arizona Senator, John McCain and assist his campaign for the Presidency. Adkins participated in Hillary Clinton’s hugely successful West Virginia campaign, volunteering among the staff of the Senator’s appearances in West Virginia: Charleston, Logan and a special Mother’s Day event in Grafton with both Hillary and Chelsea Clinton.

Cristi has appeared with FOX NEWS CHANNEL’S Hannity and Colmes, Neil Cavuto and John Gibson, as well as on both Sean Hannity and Alan Colmes national radio programs, XM Radio’s POTUS election news channel and dozens of other media outlets. Although relatively new to Washington insider politics, Adkins was invited to participate in a special invitation only private meeting with Senator McCain at his Arlington VA campaign headquarters to discuss policy issues and answer important questions concerning healthcare, Supreme Court Justice appointments and placing more women in congress to represent the unrepresented.

    Peter Boykin, Entrepreneur, Political Activist

When it comes to business, Peter lives it everyday. Peter believes life is just one big challenge and he plans to succeed. “It takes networking with the best and a commitment to go anywhere my heart desires. My vocabulary rarely uses “if” instead I substitute one word “when” and when I set my mind on a goal I never give up until I achieve it and that is my strongest quality. I believe my consistent persistence pays off. ”

Over the last year, Peter has been using these towards electing the “Person” he believes would be the best for the position of President of the United States of America. Since it appears Hillary Clinton has been forced out of the race, Boykin has thrown his support in the direction of John McCain. “I have to support my second choice and that is why I am one of the founders of Clintons4McCain.com.”

Peter works in the Information Technology field and is a Webmaster/Developer of many sites like http://www.misshillaryclinton.com/ and http://www.clintons4mccain.com/. He assisted in the original domain name for justsaynodeal.com. Peter is a registered Democrat and voted for Bill Clinton, Al Gore and John Kerry in past elections. He states that he elects leaders by the person’s character and judgment, not by their party affiliation. If anyone would like to talk to Peter directly, feel free to email: misshillaryclinton@gmail.com.

Anne Franklin, Mother, Wife, Daughter, Sister, Aunt and Retiree

Anne is a retired executive with a background in sales, marketing, strategy, operations and human resources. Like Hillary, Anne graduated from an all-female college. The nun (now Saint) who founded the college said, “If you educate a man you educate a person, if you educate a woman you educate a family.” That phrase stuck with Anne and according to Anne, has proven to be true from what she has seen in life. “Hillary has a similar philosophy of taking care of the educational and healthcare needs of women/mothers to enable them to raise children who are less likely to drop out, abuse drugs and alcohol, commit violent crimes and end up on welfare, which is one of the things about her that appeals to me.”

Anne is an Independent and believes that Independent voters are the most well-informed. “We don’t let Party leaders or others decide for us for whom we will vote,” said Franklin. “We have to research all candidates from both parties. This year, Hillary was my first choice, followed by a Republican, followed by McCain, followed by another Democrat.”

Franklin says she is a moderate, as she believes are most Americans. Hillary and McCain are also both moderates. “I research all candidates’ policies, their character and what each has done in the past (which is the best predictor of future behavior). I don’t agree with any of the candidates 100% on their policies. So, I look at the ones that are most important to me, where they stand and whether or not they are likely to get things done.”

Robin Carlson, Co-Founder Just Say No Deal & Hillary Grassroots Campaign

Robin Carlson co-founded JustSayNoDeal.com and HillaryGrassrootsCampaign.com, an organization of approximately 500,000 members who are committed to breaking ranks with the Democratic Party. Carlson says, “Grassroots members, who have donated time and money to have Senator Clinton be the presidential nominee, are stunned at the manner in which the DNC slammed the door in their faces.”

Carlson got involved with the presidential political process while undergoing cancer treatments. She felt inspired by watching Clinton fight for the American voters and the possibility of bringing her life long experience to serve this country from the oval office. Carlson has a personal interest in universal healthcare. “I’ve seen first hand how many uninsured people are diagnosed with advanced cancer” Carlson said. “It’s killing our citizens and impacting our economy at a more profound level than we realize.”

Carlson also worked with Landmark Education where she was rigorously trained and developed to lead one of their many transformational programs called the Self Expression and Leadership program. She is at home in this arena where she taught her participants what it takes to be a community leader and cause something bigger than they ever thought possible for themselves and their communities. While leading programs for Landmark Education, Carlson started a business in Bali where she designed and manufactured clothing.

Working on both sides of the camera in the entertainment business, Carlson modeled for national commercials, developed recording artists for record companies such as Capitol EMI, and gained publicity experience with the Warner Bros. Pictures marketing department.

CNN is dismissive of a froup of mostly women because that is how society treats women. It’s a great example of media sexism.

  • Bama4Hillary

We can only hope that people are starting to pay attention, if this was to start all over, Obama would not be the nominee..

  • Joe Smith

The funniest thing that I heard on MSM is when they were comparing Obama to McCain and they went through what McCain has done in the last 20 years and they compared that to Obama’s community organization skills. Like that somehow compares to being a senator for more then 20 years and have served in the air force during war time.

    • StrawberrybitesBarky

      Navy.

  • Boxer Mum 06

OK. So what really concerns me is all of the Clinton and other voters who stay home and decide not to vote.

Have we not learned that a no vote for Obama is an actual vote? This scares me! I really think that if folks elect to stay home and sit the election out, they are voting for Obama anyway – especially if they are a registered Democrat.

We have had this type of voter fraud in PA all the time. There are always stories from the voting stations where people review the voting logs and those folks missing a signature to show they voted are having people vote for them. The logs are forged and votes are casted.

If we have learned anything, it is that any vote not casted or casted for Hillary will be a vote for Obama. This leaves us few options. We have to vote – vote for someone! If it’s McCain, Nader, whomever but you have to cast a vote to ensure your vote will not be casted for Obama.

    • ginaswo still says no to Uhhbama

yes! FWIW, a comment was posted on a blog that Pelosi said she wasnt worried about PUMAS now that it looks lie they will stay home, they r only worried if we vote BIG MAC ti said.
I for one, and hubby for two, and I can count 12 others, will ALL be going out to vote for BIG MAC

We plan to make it as difficult as possible for them to STEAL and CHEAT like they did in the primaries

I am not going to conform and jump on Backtrack Obama’s bandwagon for the sake of party unity!! It’s the Democratic Party we are rebelling against. The party is pushing Obama down our throats! We will not open up and take the dosage. The Democratic Party threw Hillary under the bus when they gave BO delegates from Michigan & Florida and then gave him some of Hillary’s too.

BUY DNC!!! My goal from this point is to make this party go down in flames.

  • Joe Smith

I have seen the HBO show on John Adams over the weekend. Now I am not sure how closely they followed history but from what I remember about John Adams it is very close. John Adams’ philosophy was “COUNTRY ABOVE PARTY NO MATTER WHAT THE POLITICAL CONSEQUENCES”. That is how he lost against Jefferson but he prevented the US from getting into war with the French. Which would have been disastrous at that time. Bush could not get that idea through his head and nor can Obama. I can’t ever support an other candidate that puts party before country.

In November, they will get rid of YOU. Again.

I said, I won’t be back until Wa. state is a primary state. Heee he he.

  • Ben David

In my lifetime I have seen the good, the bad and the damn ugly when it came to elections in Ms. But never was I so amazed how many folks still do not believe that an AA can play the race card.
Well, in this election for the democratic nominee there was clear cut evidence that obama and his campaign played the race card successfully and then turned it around and blamed HRC.To achieve this obama’s campaign had to have some of the willing mediawhores to do this and of course they fell in lock step with their venom against not only HRC but WJC as well.
I still will not support obama. I said back a couple of months and finally a couple of weeks ago NO Quarter and Mr Johnson wrote it best that obama needs to apologize to both Clintons for allowing his campaign and the mediawhores to brand them as bigots and racists.
I found this very offensive to a couple that in their lifetime never ever were accused of being bigotted in all their life’s work.I also find it offensive the whoremedia knowing now as we are in general election mode points out about obama and his campaign trying to use the race card. But, these same mediawhores because of their dislike for both CLintons will not acknowledge obama and his campaign played the race card and in turn blamed HRC.
I do thank you Mr J.

I’m going to donate to McCain tomorrow for the first time. I’m also donating to the Republican Party so I can get one of those cute little stuffed Elephants. Maybe I’ll donate for all 4. I think they’re the ones that are going to have to get the word out on Obama. McCain is just not very good at calling someone on the carpet, till he gets angry.
    http://www.gop.com/Store/

My husband in his analysis of women said that’s probably one of the reasons women like him, including Hillary. Most women are the exact same way. He knows I am. I’ll let people say what they want. Push me around, till I’ve had enough. Then everyone is going to hear what I have to say like it or not, and they’re going to listen wheather they want to or not. I said those are two traits we learn from being mothers/grandmothers. Patience and tolerance. It’s just not ones we practice very well when we’re angry. Which is why I’m being impatient at John outting him. I guess I’m still angry at how this whole thing has gone.

I did get my diehard Republican husband to finally admit Hillary and John would work well together. He told me you can see in their faces they both respect each other. Value each other’s opinions. I hate to admit it, but I could see with both being moderate, he could appoint Hillary. Maybe over health care or education. He said he could see McCain working well with either her or Feinstein. He definately thinks John will appoint Lieberman. I said well first we have to get through Denver, it could be her to appoint John. ;)

    • Hadrian

During the primaries Hillary made this statement, that was recorded on video and is now being used in an RNC ad. WIthout being a direct quote, the essence was on day one McCain brings a lifetime of experience to the White House and Obama brings a speech he gave two years ago. They are personal friends and would work well together.

I’ll grant you that FL is not a great state for Obama. Its demographics don’t fit his profile, as it is the oldest state in the country and a pretty Republican state.

the latest Urgentgram from Chariman Mao asking me for “$300, $225 or even $150″ to help their “50 State Strategy” yes he capitalized it, indicates they have signed up “3.5 million new voters” on the antional rolls. According to the math, they are sitll down 5 million if HRC supporters vote BIG MAC.

Chariman Mao Dean says in his PS “…I am asking party leaders like you (who me, the woman whose calls you dotn care to return, now I am a leader eh?? lol) to help the DNC raise $1 million in the next week”

It’s not that Obama is evil, really…it’s that he isn’t QUALIFIED.

There are KINDERGARTEN teachers who are as qualified than Obama is to take the job.

And we really do need something more than ROMPER ROOM in the Executive Branch.

Howard Dean screwed the one ADULT running from the Democratic team–and I’m not going along and getting along after that insult.

A guy whose previous experience is a PART TIME legislative job in the STATE SENATE, who got elected to the US Senate just a brief while ago because of a crash-and-burn GOP mess that resulted in a “no contest” coronation, is NOT ready to be President.

Ferraro got nailed with the RACIST tag for saying what is obvious. If some freckle-faced cracker pink and white Bubba who was a state legislator from Georgia tried to run for President on a Hope-Change ticket, making the decision after being in the US Senate less than half a year, people would point, laugh, and tell the little cracker he was NO JIMMY CARTER (who had a governorship under his belt, but who was still “questioned” as to his experience)….and he’d better take some time before having the AUDACITY to think that people would vote for him JUST because he said HOPE CHANGE BELIEVE.

I RESENT being called a racist because I think this guy is UNQUALIFIED. The more people try to pull that shit, the more I dig in my heels.

I resent the DNC’s attempts to shove this unqualified Chicago gangster down my throat.

I won’t have it. He doesn’t get my vote. He won’t ever get it, because he can’t “earn” it until he gets himself some experience (oh, and maybe stops flipflopping like a carp on the shore).

      OBAMA’S TROUBLING INTERNET FUND RAISING

Certainly the most interesting and potentially devastating phone call I have received during this election cycle came this week from one of the Obama campaign internet geeks. These are the staffers who devised Obama’s internet fund raising campaign which raised in the neighborhood of $200 million so far. That is more then twice the total funds raised by any candidate in history and this was all from the internet campaign.

What I learned from this insider was shocking but I guess we shouldn’t be surprised that when it comes to fund raising there simply are no rules that can’t be broken and no ethics that prevail.

Obama’s internet campaign started out innocently enough with basic e-mail networking , lists saved from previous party campaigns and from supporters who visited any of the Obama campaign web sites.

Small contributions came in from these sources and the internet campaign staffwere more than pleased by the results.

Then, about two months into the campaign the daily contribution intake multiplied. Where was it coming from? One of the web site security monitors began to notice the bulk of the contributions were clearly coming in from overseas internet service providers and at the rate and frequency of transmission it was clear these donations were programmed by a very sophisticated user.

While the security people were not able to track most of the sources due to firewalls and other blocking devices put on these contributions they were able to collate the number of contributions that were coming in seemingly from individuals but the funds were from only a few credit card accounts and bank electronic funds transfers. The internet service providers (ISP) they were able to trace were fromSaudi Arabia ,Iran, and other Middle Eastern countries. One of the banks used for fund transfers was also located inSaudi Arabia .

Another concentrated group of donations was traced to a Chinese ISP with a similar pattern of limited credit card charges.

It became clear that these donations were very likely coming from sources other than American voters. This was discussed at length within the campaign and the decision was made that none of these donations violated campaign financing laws.

It was also decided that it was not the responsibility of the campaign to audit these millions of contributions as to the actual source (specific credit card number or bank transfer account numbers) to insure that none of these internet contributors exceeded the legal maximum donation on a cumulative basis of many small donations. They also found the record keeping was not complete enough to do it anyway.

      This is a shocking revelation.

We have been concerned about the legality of bundling contributions after the recent exposure of illegal bundlers but now it appears we may have an even greater problem.

I guess we should have been somewhat suspicious when the numbers started to come out. We were told (no proof offered) that the Obama internet contributions were from $10.00 to $25.00 or so.

If the $200,000,000 is right, and the average contribution was $15.00, that would mean over 13 million individuals made contributions? That would also be 13 million contributions would need to be processed. How did all that happen?

I believe the Obama campaign’s internet fund raising needs a serious, in depth investigation and audit. It also appears the whole question of internet fund raising needs investigation by the legislature and perhaps new laws to insure it complies not only with the letter of these laws but the spirit as well.

      • Teakwood

        That is not surprising.

…collate the number of contributions that were coming in seemingly from individuals but the funds were from only a few credit card accounts and bank electronic funds transfers.

Seems to me the folks at Justice know about this as well.

      • curious

        Lou,
Would you please provide the URL for the article by Maureen Dowd about Obama’s internet fundraising? I have been searching and can’t find it.
        Thanks!

      • Beth C. Taylor

I have always wondered if some of the loads of cash that the Obama Campaign has been spreading around did not come from some of the U.S.funds lost in Iraq. Wasn’t it Alsamaree, his buddy, who was convicted of permanently borrowing reconstruction funds and jailed in Iraq. Wasn’t there talk about his son’s phone call to Obama’s senate office asking for help for his father. Then didn’t Alsamaree escape and wind up in Chicago. Could it be that taxpayer dollars intended to reconstruct Iraq became part of the campaign’s seemingly endless bankroll? Where are Woodward and Bernstrein when you need them? Damn, people someone could win a Pulitzer if they took this story on and investigated.

  • ginaswo still says no to Uhhbama

Look for Uhhbama to try and steal these red states:

    VA, GA, NC

he is spending ad money and time there to account for his vote theft later..

the DNC chair of the state party has already run the vote theft once in the primary, does Uhhbama OWN the secty of state in NC GA VA?? This is where he plans to steal the GE

what can we do to stop him?

  • Darryl

I think the error in their thinking about woman supporters and Obama is that they think that ALL of these women were democrats. Early in the Primary, it was established that Hillary had the momentum to take over 25% of republican women. Immediately afterwards, they started their harrasment of her. Once they got her out of the picture, the road to victory is easier for them. I can bet you that those women, whom have always voted republican, will go back to republicans in the GE if Hillary isn’t the nominee. This was never discussed in the news. It was that shady secret the republicans didn’t want to admit.

    http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/430821/survey_republican_women_support_hillary.html

    • Darryl

So it isn’t about the “greiving process” that is a load of crap. The large portion of the 28% of those who voted for hillary and pushed her over the top in big states were republican women voting for her. They won’t get those voters back no matter how hard they try to spin it.

They then started a spin campaign making it seems like Limbaugh was leading a movement to get republicans to vote for Hillary to keep her in. This was a complete smoke screen for this so that the media could blame her success on Limbaugh instead of a true coallition made up of moderate democrats and a large portion of Republican women.

The real lesson to learn from this, is that 1) young voters are gulliable and will buy what the media sells them. 2)The media holds the real power in this country, plain and simple.

    UppityWoman,

Thank you for this great piece. This states it perfectly.

I wonder if Bill Schneider is being medicated before he spews this nonsense. I wonder if the DNC is now suffering from irritable bowel syndrome because, believe me, whether they admit it or not, they know they are in a world of trouble.

Hey Bill S., DNC and the rest of the inane cadre:

we do not like him in a boat,

Sorry to jump in off topic, but Ijust want to run something the NQ group. Last night(4ish am) ther were several comments on how great it would be if McCain picked hill for veep, they are after all really quite fond of eachother. Now I really don’t think this in the realm of the possible, if ANYONE has the balls for that kind of move, it’s McCain.

    Well, anyone?

Secondly, over in the PUMA-SPHERE ther seems to be growing chorus of “draft Palin for veep”, how does this play over in NQ?

    Feedback please.

I received an email first from the Obama campaign, then from the DNC about the ‘coronation’ in Denver. How disgusting! I mentioned this in another thread, but after thinking about it, I had to write a response to the DNC version. I’ve lost all sense of common courtesy when it comes to these filthy thugs. Here’s the content of my email:

Have I told you recently to go f*** yourselves? ‘Cause if I haven’t I’m telling you now.

I will NOT vote for Obama. I will NOT support him financially. I will NOT support the DNC for taking half of my vote away. I have left the Democratic party after 35 years. You’re not democratic. You’re no better than the Repigs.

It’s time for the DNC to go away. You’ve thrown out an electable candidate for one who supports your sad misogenyst views of the country. Obama is JUST like Bush and you all are JUST like Rove & Co. You’re no better. The worst part is that your candidate is not qualified. He has no work history. He has no work ethic. He lies about basic simple items. He’s taken money and favors from known criminals. He’s a racist and so is his wife. He even falsifies his birth certificate (and to what end? What is he hiding? Why not just be truthful if he has nothing to hide?). I’m repulsed by your choice of ‘messiah’ and will vote for McCain before I’d vote for this worthless arrogant ass.

I’m not the only one either. A solid 1/3 – 1/2 of the Dem party is in agreement. You’ve doomed this country to another 4 years of misery, no matter who is elected.

If you’re basing your PUMA totals of only people like myself that has signed on well the Trolls will be very surprised. My husband is not signed onto the PUMA because I only have one email address. My friends at work haven’t signed any petitions afraid someone can track them . Alot of people not on the internet won’t and aren’t voting for BHO. My 85 yr old Step Mom who always voted Dem is voting McCain after I talked to her.

So any number you have on petitions is a huge under count IMHO.:)

  • Hmm

I think Mr. Magoo is the one going through stages-he’s in denial at the moment-is it bargaining that is next?

Don’t get all upsets about the Mr. Magoos of the world. What we have learned from Bush is that big corrupt leaders not only get flushed but they pull down a lot of trash with them when they go. People like Mr Magoo are about to lose a lot of face.

The Media in general likes Mccain and Obama has already betrayed them and made them look like suckers. They have already begun, if somewhat belatedly to shine a spotlight on the big zero from Chicago.

Be patient, good things come to those that wait.

  • NOBama in August

“If he doesn’t pick her, a later stage of grief is depression and then acceptance,” Schneider said.

Notice once again how women’s opinions are belittled in the media. Now we couldn’t want Hillary over Obama because of valid reasons, oh no, it must be grief she is not the unofficial nominee.

  • angelita

Why is it those who voted for Obama to be the Democratic nominee would rather choose to make history by having the first African-American President instead of electing an individual who is more prepared to be POTUS? As I recall the current President was selected in much the same fashion as Obama. Somebody please tell me what has he accomplished during his 2 terms?

Would a President Obama leave all decision making up to all his cronies, or would he just play one on one basketball with them and see who gets to 21 points first, and then make a decision based on that? He is already flipping and flopping. The way I see Obama is that he is the 3rd term Bush. Obama criticized Bill Clinton, yet he is recycling Bill Clinton’s administration. I think Obama carried a grudge for the Clinton’s. So much for the Mr. CHANGE MAN.

After a stint in the Navy and on radio, Helms, a Democrat, got his feet wet in politics when he advised conservative and segregationist candidate Willis Smith during the 1950 U.S. Senate race against Frank Porter Graham. Smith wins, using race-baiting as an effective tactic.

“White people, wake up before it is too late,” one Smith newspaper ad said. “Do you want Negroes working beside you, your wife and your daughters in your mills and factories? Frank Graham favors mingling of the races.”

Three years later, Helms would write a column in The Tarheel Banker opposing the pending U.S. Supreme Court ruling against public school segregation. The column gives him visibility and in 1957, Helms is elected to the Raleigh City Council for two terms.

I agree to that as well. If she would have not endorsed him I would have given her money. But now that she became one of the trolls I lost a lot of respect for her. Maybe she knows what she is doing so I will wait until August to make my final judgment on this matter.

  • K. Wynne

    pasmalltowngirl,

What do you think the power elite, who are supporting obama, would have done to Hillary if she had defied them more than she already had? Do you really believe Hillary had the power alone to stop these SOB’s from fixing the nomination process to favor obama from not destroying her political career? Sometimes you lose the battle, but eventually win the war, if you play it smart and Hillary is smart.

Maybe, had the PUMApac had evolved to what it is now at the beginning of the Primary process rather than after it, we could have helped her fight them. One cannot fight these corrupt people, with endless supplies of money, power and influence without an equal force to push back with. To think otherwise, is as naive as an obamabot believing he’s the real deal!

Don’t blame Hillary. She did more than any other politician would have ever done on our behalf by putting herself and her career on the line for staying in until the bitter end. Now, she has passed the baton on to us to pick up the fight where she left off.

Let’s do what she asked us to do and “start acting like Americans again…” and take our country back.

The fight is not her’s alone to make! It belongs to all of us who care about freedom and rights and all that it means to be an American.

Funny, I’m 43 and never had to worry about abortion. I had 2 kids on purpose! Yep! Planned both times! I am now dating a man who has had a vasectomy! Yep. That’s right. He didn’t want unplanned pregnancy either. Already has kids. Don’t all these young kids know about birth control? I mean really, it is pretty easy to avoid prenancy these days. Hey kids, don’t get drunk and have unprotected sex! Maybe we should just ban alcohol to people under 25. It is a scientific fact that the front brain (logic and reason) isn’t fully developed until age 25. Hence all those bots are mostly under 25! I am so sick of being defined by my uterus!!!!! I really let people have it when they mention that damn RvW. I advise people not to do it around me!

Hey, why don’t we all start arguing with bots right before the election so they assualt us and we can have them in jail and not at the polls in November!

Its the unnecessary interjection of homophobia that could get you flushed.

Obama is a limpwristed homo pansy.

You will have to put in a few more years in college to catch up to me, asshole. And when I got my degrees they didn’t just let any moron in the school either. No curves. No dumbing down. No You.

  • one eyed jack

Short answer is, Hillary has destroyed herself in the eyes of a lot of people. I have been with the Clintons from their very beginning. There are no other politicians that I had more respect for. Go along to get along is one of the reasons our nation is in the fix it is in today. I am not sorry to say that I still believe in country before any party, much less one’s career.

    busloads of college kids

This should read serial voting college kids since they voted in every state and multiple precints within a state.
No ID required. Many were not old enough to vote.

  • ginaswo still says no to Uhhbama

I would suggest asking him to put on the floor legislation to open the drilling off shore and force a vote on his gas tax summer waiver bill

lets focus on how he wants to help people get to work while Barky and his ABercrombie and Fitch crew want us to make the world a cleaner place while they drive escalades and Prius’ that middle class cant afford (or cant fit their tools and lumber in for that matter)

  • tillthen

Mack Daddy? I didn’t know Obama was going to be there. Yeah, tell the stupid, illiterate, inarticulate, piece of shit to own up to his birth nation.

….and please tell McCain he’s got my vote.

  • Lou

Ask him how he intends to fend off Obamas vote cheating and if he is aware of the millions of new registrations being done by Obama campaign of made up people. People who don’t exist?

  • Patti

    Yes, I do.

Please ask him to start talking about his children and his interests and his life. He has great kids all around and a couple of sons are serving our country as we blog.

He is a really good man – just a bit too humble though.
He isn’t the one constantly bragging about his POW status.

  • ginaswo still says no to Uhhbama

and now the Uhhbama race card playing trolls sometimes support each other in threads, it is too pathetic really, the funniest is when they accidentally start to argue with each other, I dig that LOL
    whadda maroon!

  • cackicoo

oh! this ky girl knows its better than ok..its a no brainer..nobama ever getting my vote

  • Amae

I’m here in KY, educated and informed and under no circumstances will I vote for BO. There is a big unity push where I am and since I didn’t blindly follow along,(I emailed links to people about the new Clinton orgs and was immediately chastised for it and taken off every one’s mailing list) so, I am out of the loop. Those Obama cult freaks scare me. The DNC and the DFA has imported Southside Chicago thieves and thugs all over America, even small towns such as where I live. Between DNC, DFA and Move On, this place is buttoned up. I will just keep quiet and vote for McCain. It is good to know there are so many more like me. Ky went solidly for Hillary, but now McCain has the lead.

  • K. Wynne

That’s right, blame the victim of the daily sexist/misogynistic attacks!

You offer no alternatives as to “how” she could have fought a corrupt DNC determined to give obama the nomination and put it all on Hillary, with no help from the media or her colleagues.

If it were so easy for her to fight the power elite on her own, please tell us how.

Blaming is the chickenshit way out.

  • Lou

Hillary has destroyed herself in the eyes of a lot of people

SIMPLY NOT TRUE! More people respect her now than ever and she is better postioned now than ever.

  • believe

You really enjoy personal insults, don’t you?

  • believe

On another thread, a poster was praising Jesse Helms. I rather suspect there aren’t a lot of Democrats on this site.

  • believe

You like personal insults and sexualized language. Why is that?
