Apparently running with some trial balloon by not playing the race card for a change, the Obama camp has a new explanation for the unbelievers. We are hearing impaired. According to MissEYEUhh Barky, the reason so many of us are criticizing him is because we haven’t been listening.

Obama Says His Critics Haven’t Been Listening

“Look, let me talk about the broader issue, this whole notion that I am shifting to the center,” he told a crowd gathered at a town hall-style meeting in this Atlanta suburb. “The people who say this apparently haven’t been listening to me.”

So inclined to consider himself a common man, Barky imagines that if he suffered from a hearing problem for those 20 long years he was in that racist church that he didn’t know about maybe, just maybe that is the same problem the rest of us have. He’s ~~hoodwinking~~ hoping so.

He might just as well have come right out and said: “Look deep into my eyes.” Because that is the routine he is laying on us. “I Barky the All Wise have made your mind up for you.”

And when you translate the Cult-speak the message is clear: “Hey, see that cliff over there. Wouldn’t it be great fun if we all ran over it?”

He agrees with Scalia on gun control. He wants to kill child rapists. But don’t we all? And he wants to spy on Americans. Except that he wants it to be legal spying. Institutionalized. Allowed.

And yet we are told that we aren’t listening.

He made his Iraq position the centerpiece of his primary campaign. He cannot flip-flop now and expect to remain credible on that one.

The pundits are attempting to pretend that this flip-flopping is normal, to be expected, etc. I have no clue as to what they are talking about. It’s the kiss of death to reverse positions as he has done. The way he did it, for example, on public financing was particularly despicable. They decided early on to back the brown fellow, not because his ideas were better, not because his experience was better, not because he was better suited, not because he had a better temperament…. but because “ethnic” is “cooler” than “late middle-aged female” to those loudmouths in the eighteen to thirty five (pretending to be twenty nine) demographic. And “cool” is everything to those insecure little fools.

Past a certain age and maturity level–and those kids haven’t reached it yet–”coolness” doesn’t matter. You either have self-confidence, or you don’t. You don’t (as they say, “actually”) need the approval of assholes who don’t know you or care about you. It’s quite liberating. They’ll get there one day, and maybe do the Homer Simpson “DOH!!!!” Or maybe they’ll remain blissfully stupid and self-righteous.

Now, like Jeremiah says, those “Too Cool For School” chickens are coming home to roost. The Kos children are starting to look like David Cassidy/Partridge Family or Monkees fans in 1990….a bit of a curiosity, a bit foolish, a bit, well, pathetic.

They aren’t quite as “cool” as they used to be, since their candidate has flipped, flopped, and sold them down the FISA river. They look like asses who have been easily conned.

And that will be the case no matter who wins or steals this election.

They’ll never be regarded with the same gravitas that they once were, simply because they’ve behaved badly…to be frank, like immature little punkass shits.

They flexed their muscles in a funhouse mirror. We have seen enough of them to compare the image in the mirror to the reality.

The mirror makes those little Kos-sac objects appear LARGER than they actually are.

No sale. We don’t need that idiot Bush to repeat that “won’t git fooled agin” line. And we don’t need a diminutive little Greek geek to suggest that we “get in line” for the good of the party.

It just isn’t going to happen. He hasn’t the gravitas, the command, or the believability to “lead” anyone but the suckers who cannot think for themselves, who have no where else to go.

In all my years in America I have heard candidates blame the media and blame the other candidate for their own waffling back and forth but I’ve never heard one actually blame his own supporters and everyone else in this country by telling them that they are not listening. He has not taken responsibility for anything, remember the “bitter” comments, well, we and the media misinterpreted, and why he sat in Wright’s church for 20 years because it was Rev Wright’s fault, he “didn’t know him” and the media and the citizens shouldn’t pick on Michelle for saying anti-American statements, that’s our fault too. Thanks for this. Lou Dobbs’ coverage was definitely more lively than O’Reilly to my mind. It’s ironic, this thing with Jackson and Obama. Obama owes much to Jackson. Jackson had a lot to do with the changeover to proportional representation of delegates from the Democratic primaries. It’s really funny. Obama is annoying just about everybody these days. But Jackson has been around a long time and has paid his dues.

I heard there were many hits on the Obama blog to protest his vote for FISA – people want their donation back, etc.

Out of curiosity, I just went there to “lurk” for the first time. I’m reading one of the first pieces about a campaign event with Senator Clinton and Caroline Kennedy, titled “Barack in New York”. The writer offers: “Here are some pictures from this event…”

And guess what? ALL of the photos were of Barack – from the side, from behind, up close, far away. None of Hillary or Caroline.

Off to the side, there’s a small box entitled “Hillary Supporters Welcome”, with a small photo of Hillary, and the “GET INVOLVED” button to press. I did not have the stomach to press it.

It’s all about him, right?

Can I change the subject for a sec? I have been working all day and missed something about Obama apologizing for having his kids on TV. What was that all about? I can’t stand seeing this guy backing down and apologizing after every little thing he says and does! And for every little word or petty action from those around him, sheeeeeesh!

I will never understand how the dems chose him over Hillary — she’s the only candidate not going around apologizing, hem-hawing and backtracking on everything. Maybe it’s this — the men couldn’t stand it that the only “guy” with “nuts” is actually a woman — ha ha! I think they need to “get over it.”

A prominent donor to Senator Obama recently sent an email plea to other supporters, asking them—for the sake of Democratic unity—to write checks to Senator Hillary Clinton to help retire her $23 million in campaign debt. Some of the replies are unprintable, given the coarse language, the donor said. A sampling of others included:
“Why would I help pay off debts that Hillary amassed simply to keep damaging Senator Obama?” [Translation: You see, it’s all Hillary’s fault. She pointed out all those horrible issues like his lack of experience, and his phony policy positions.]
“Not a penny for that woman. Or her husband. Or—god forbid—Mark Penn.”
Mr. Obama has asked his top donors to help raise money for her debt, and so far they have come up with less than $100,000. “A paltry sum,” in the words of one Clinton official.
Among the complaints from Obama campaign officials is that Mrs. Clinton’s expectation for help has been a moving target; in other words, it is unclear how much money from Obama supporters will be enough to satisfy the Clintons…Mrs. Clinton is helping Obama with the understanding that he would do more for her. [Translation: They are just greedy insatiable power mongers.]
Clinton donors and campaign officials remain surprised, and some, offended, that Mr. Obama has refused to ask his entire list of donors, more than 1.5 million people, to send [small donations] for Mrs. Clinton’s debt. Obama officials said they did not want to distract their donors for the main task at hand, raising money to defeat Mr. McCain.
Alan Patricof, a top Clinton fund-raiser and family friend: “I think most people thinks that helping Barack is the best way to get help from the Obama camp to help retire her debt, which is a major source of concern for her right now.”

Can’t you read? Obama folks are NOT sending Clinton money because it was HER choice to go into debt. Usually candidates end their campaigns when they have no chance of winning pledged delegates and they don’t have enough money to pay costs. She chose not to do that.

I’ve often wondered that obama and his bots are still so arrogant towards Hillary is because they’ve been assured that he’s going to win.

You know that they can re-program the voting machines years in advance to a certain date to manipulate the votes cast in the voting software without being detected. It’s been proven that this can be done (which is probably why Congress was so quick to pass the Help America Vote Act in record time) so that they could choose the kind of voting systems that would keep them in power in perpetuity.

The one way we can mess with their plan, if they have messed with the voting machines, is to vote in mass for John McCain. Without the ability to calculate the percentage necessary to alter the machines vote count, so that it’s not blatantly obvious, is to alter it be a certain percentage in every precinct to match the number of voters and their respective party affiliation.

By beating them at their own game, that would certainly knock the smirk off of BO’s face, now wouldn’t it?
