Obama Surrenders Afghanistan

The decision is made, but not announced. We are turning Afghanistan over to the Taliban. Check out what Rahm Emmanuel said today:
Do you think this was just Rahm pontificating on his own?
Hell no. They’ve made the decision. Obama will sniff disdainfully at the corruption of Karzai and stipulate that not another U.S. soldier should die for such a man. Once you cross that bridge the die is cast and there is no way to continue pumping money and men into the conflict in Afghanistan. We’ll find a way to exit that, hopefully, will avoid the image of panicked residents scrambling onto a helicopter hovering over the roof of the U.S. Embassy. But we’re going.
After this impending debacle I never want to hear another American disparage the French as “surrender monkeys.” Why? Because we are on our way to becoming the simpering simian we love to diss.
Permit me to use a football analogy. I am a Washington Redskins fan (or I was). Before the current season started experts predicted that the Skins would be awful because they have a mediocre offensive line. The Redskin management and sychophants, however, insisted that Washington would be in the Super Bowl come February 2010. Well boys and girls, the experts were right. If you don’t have a solid, deep offensive line you are not going to be able to score points. If you don’t score points you don’t usually win games.
Stan McChrystal has told the Administration in no uncertain terms they need more offensive linemen. The Obama “geniuses” have decided they can get by with second rate players. The end is predetermined. Just pray it is not your son or daughter who is sent to die in a failing cause because the President is too stupid and too afraid to do what is needed in order to secure a win for the people of Afghanistan.
