They found out during the campaign that he wouldn’t share either his email list or any of the $750 million he raised with any other candidates. Why would they expect him to do any good for them as a fundraiser? After all, those fundraisers are about other people, not him. So his interest would be minimal at best. And it probably shows.

What I would like to know is how his mileage on AF-One compares to Bush’s at this time in their respective terms. The bots keep saying that Bush went to his ranch every weekend..but that round trip “every week”, even if it was every week, probably doesn’t compare to Obummer’s predilection for his “spiffy ride”. The cost of flying that plane and its escorts around is massive. The fuel alone on AF-One is $64,000 an hour, that’s just the gas..not the cost of the personnel, extra security, etc…never mind the other five or more planes that go along, an extra AF-One, the two massive C-140′s, or whatever they are, that carry the limos, etc., and the fighter escorts. The carbon footprint for each of his trips is massive, HUGE.

And that is one thing they can’t blame on Bush..or Fox.

I guess the enemy of my enemy is my friend, should be the title of this posting….

Yes Fox is covering news items that most are not. But what is their true motive? Reporting News? Making News? Or Using the news for a political purpose?

The truth is that we have no more news outlets and I laugh at the hypocrisy of news outlets coming to the defense of Fox while killing each other to get the latest scoop. The only thing the others are protecting is themselves not the public at large..

You’re complaining that you feel there are so many conservatives on Fox. Tell me – how many LIBERALS are on MSNBC, CNN, CBS, etc? And tell me – did you actually see any vetting of Obama by those stations, or did they just drool all over him?

But let me guess – Fox is biased, but the others aren’t….

I hope the Administration keeps up the attacks on Fox News, too, Gary. Because it makes them look like the thin-skinned whiners they really are.

Can’t stand the heat? Get out of the kitchen, as they say. But then, I suppose, you’re of the mind that MSNBC is fair and balanced. Olbermann, Matthews and Maddow match O’Reilly, Hannity and Beck. As for the rest? Is there an equal match of liberals to conservatives at MSNBC?

Cut me a break! And exactly what is “liberal” enough. Marching goosestep, I imagine.

So, please, keep banging the drum and whining your head off. And watch Fox’s ratings go into the stratosphere. Nice going!

Speaking of delegates to the convention, I am seriously considering suing the DNC, with Donna Brazile named as the chief perpetrator, for violating my Constitutional rights. How you ask? Here’s how.. when Donna, and the DNC, were planning to inflict Obama on us, one of the ways they did it was by giving more delegates per 100,000 people, or whatever the ratio is, to areas that were heavily AA. In other words, they got more bang for their vote than non-AA areas did. In this country, we have one vote per citizen of voting age..not 1 1/2 for some and just one for others. This ruling by the DNC diminished the value of my vote, cast for Hillary in FL, and therefore rendered it unequal to the votes cast in areas that are heavily AA. At least one of my AA friends here in FL has agreed to add her name to the suit as well. I am sure we will be pilloried as racists, but that is a risk I am willing to take. Anyone who knows me knows it isn’t true, and I don’t care what anyone else thinks. I am still looking for the right lawyer, and still figuring out when this suit should be filed. Timing is everything in politics, as you know. I think the spring of 2010 would be a good time. What do you all think??

I’m in the same boat, Diana. I’ve always been good at seeing the grays in life, so it was quite a shock to realize that I had seen politics in such black/white terms (dems good, repubs bad). And looking back, I always “knew” the answers to things, because (following the same logic) I knew the dems were right.

So it’s been an adjustment, as now I don’t immediately know the answers to things. Instead I have to listen to both sides and figure out my very own opinion! But it feels very freeing – very, very freeing.

Don, I have a hard time passing that judgment, because there was undoubtedly so much behind the scenes stuff we can’t even imagine. And I don’t mean deals like getting SOS. I wouldn’t be surprised if there hadn’t been threats of some kind.

She was so fired up on that last primary night, saying she’ll fight to the end, and she seemed to me extremely believable. And then a couple of days later, it was all different. Something intervened, I think.
