Does it bother anyone else that it seems that Ken Feinberg is giving a lot of orders yet he is one of the Obama czars that is not even congressionally approved?

Hey I’m just like the next guy and don’t like the idea of the big CEOs living high off the hog on our money, but to give this kind of power to Feinberg or even to the executive branch????

We man up every day, bluex. This site has always been centrist in that most (but not all) of us didn’t like Bush and we certainly don’t like That One. While Limbaugh is a bellicose gasbag with delusions of grandeur, he has a right to speak just as the shills who support That One have a right to so do. That right, however, doesn’t include this site, which is owned by one Larry Johnson. That’s one reason many of us come here–to get away from the petulant children, i.e., extremists from either side, who seem bent on running this country into the ditch.

Republicans with deep enough pockets to be real players only care about low tax rates & deregulation. Socially they gravitate toward the limo liberals & are basically appalled by wedge issues like abortion & 2nd amendment advocacy & when they try to wear those mantels they reek of insincerity. Deep pocket Repugs have been lined up with social liberals for 20 years on immigration & outsourcing, neither party gives a damn about the middle classes. The corporate Repugs, in their lust for cheap labor, have played into the hands of the Dems & consequently the rolls of the poor have grown. The poor, having gotten the idea that Dems will morph all of their desires into rights, will never go over to the Republican Party. The only hope for Republicans is to convince the middle classes that ObamaCare, Cap & Trade & taxes will be so costly the middle classes will surrender all they have worked for & fear based campaigns rarely win over happy talk. Republicans are too stupid to woo the middle classes. Obama gave them an opening when he promised no taxes on seniors making less than 25K & they’re too dense to see it: Why don’t they seize it? Build on it? Lobby for a graduated cap gains rate? No, those dense clowns are still blabbering about corporate tax cuts, everything to benefit themselves & drop the middle class into the big bottom. We are so 13 TRILLION dollar screwed.

Maybe you think that because the tone here is anti-Obama you think it’s a bastion of right-wingers and conservative Republicans?

The same way anyone critical of the right wing hypocrisy is attacked here as an Obama worshiper. So it goes both ways, bud.
And by the way, why the compunction with Limbaugh? He wants the same thing you want (Obama to fail) and has the same ‘anti-Obama tone’ as you put it, so what’s not to like?
