“Low, Low, Low, Low, Low,Low, Low, Low…”

Since Obama likes Rap so much, I figured a title taken from Flo Rida’s “Low” song would be the perfect title for Obama’s current poll ratings. Let’s put it this way: they could be better. In fact, they could be a LOT better. You know, this is when the politician claims that s/he doesn’t pay any attention to polls. Yeah, like that. The title of this article pretty much sums it up:

Barack Obama Sees Worst Poll Rating Drop In 50 Years”

Gallup recorded an average daily approval rating of 53 per cent for Mr Obama for the third quarter of the year, a sharp drop from the 62 per cent he recorded from April.

His current approval rating – hovering just above the level that would make re-election an uphill struggle – is close to the bottom for newly-elected president. Mr Obama entered the White House with a soaring 78 per cent approval rating.

The bad polling news came as Mr Obama returned to the campaign trail to prevent his Democratic party losing two governorships next month in states in which he defeated Senator John McCain in last November’s election.

Jeffrey Jones of Gallup explained: “The dominant political focus for Obama in the third quarter was the push for health care reform, including his nationally televised address to Congress in early September.

“Obama hoped that Congress would vote on health care legislation before its August recess, but that goal was missed, and some members of Congress faced angry constituents at town hall meetings to discuss health care reform. Meanwhile, unemployment continued to climb near 10 per cent.”

Unfortunately for Obama, the People had something to say about the legislation that would so impact each and every one of us. I bet those legislators just HATE when their constituents throw a wrench into their grand plans, don’t you?

Things aren’t just bad for Obama, though:

Governor Jon Corzine of New Jersey is in severe danger of defeat while Democrats are fast losing hope that Creigh Deeds can beat his Republican opponent in Virginia. Twin Democratic losses would be a major blow to Mr Obama’s prestige.

Campaigning for Mr Corzine in Hackensack on Wednesday night, Mr Obama delivered a plea that almost seemed as much for himself as the local candidate: “I’m here today to urge you to cast aside the cynics and the sceptics, and prove to all Americans that leaders who do what’s right and who do what’s hard will be rewarded and not rejected.”

Mr Corzine, a former Goldman Sachs executive and multi-millionaire, is currently running even in New Jersey, which is normally comfortably Democratic, while Mr Deeds is trailing badly in Virginia, a swing state that was key to Mr Obama’s 2008 victory.

Let’s just pause for a second and soak that in – Gov. Corzine is a former Goldman Sachs exec who made a gazillion buckaroos, and Obama is stumping for him. Perhaps this is one of those moments when Obama’s minions might just get sobered up just a tad from the Kool Aide and realize that they bought a bill of goods.

It gets worse:

Mr Obama is also facing widespread criticism for his drawn-out decision-making process over what to do next in Afghanistan.

Republicans sense Mr Obama is in a vulnerable position and this week saw the return to the public stage of his perhaps most vehement opponent – Vice-President Dick Cheney.

Holy crapoli – Cheney? The man to whom we affectionately (cough) referred to as Darth Vader?? Whooey – this should be interesting:

In a blistering speech on Wednesday night, he accused Mr Obama of failing to give Americans troops on the ground a clear mission or defined goals and of being seemingly “afraid to make a decision” about Afghanistan “The White House must stop dithering while America’s armed forces are in danger,” Cheney said at the Center for Security Policy in Washington.

“Make no mistake, signals of indecision out of Washington hurt our allies and embolden our adversaries.”

He hit out at Obama aides who suggested that the Bush administration had failed to weigh up conditions in Afghanistan properly before committing troops.

“Now they seem to be pulling back and blaming others for their failure to implement the strategy they embraced. It’s time for President Obama to do what it takes to win a war he has repeatedly and rightly called a war of necessity.”

Yikes. Nothing like being called on the carpet by the president, I mean, VICE president, from the past 8 years. Ahem. I reckon Obama and his Chicago pals thought all of their blaming of the Bush Administration would silence that Administration. Apparently, they were not paying attention to how Cheney rolls over the last 8 years, either. I’m sure Obama/Emmanuel/Axelrove will come up with SOME dismissive statement about Cheney’s remarks, and still not do anything about Afghanistan, because that’s how THEY roll.

Just in case you are keeping score (or want to), the Daily Presidential Tracking Poll at Rasmussen Reports has Obama’s approval ratings at 49% as of Friday, Oct. 23rd.

But hey, these are just numbers. What are the people who formerly approved of Obama but are now sobering up saying? My good friend, Nunly, of Bad Habit fame, braved the Obamablogs, and found some mighty interesting comments by the Obama faithful. She was kind enough to leave this at my blog, and the comments in italics are her’s (she’s funny):

I went to look at AmericaBlog last night (I love to see what the Obots are up to) and thought you would LOVE to see what they think of Obama now. I’ve never seen so much whining, crying, gnashing of teeth since I told my kids they had to pay for their own car insurance.

…Aravosis has been covering the health care bill negotiations and I swear, the comments about Obama had me rolling on the floor laughing.

Here are a few of my favorite from that post. You could read the rest if you want, but they are all about the same.

Here goes..get your tissues out because you’re gonna laugh until you cry:

Obama campaigned on a strong public option.

When push came to shove he ran the other way.

What does it matter now what he says – we already know who he is.

Even if this is proven true, the kool-aid drinkers will still ignore it. All they care about is his “historical presidency.” They’ll be more than happy to let his dirty dealings be swept under the rug. Much like how Christians view God, anything good is credited to Jesus (Barack) and anything bad is credited to the devil (Rahm, anyone else handy.)

If Obama’s ultra-secret overarching goal for his presidency is to make the PUMAs look sane in retrospect, then all I can say is “Well played sir, well played indeed.”

(ROTFLMAO! They hate it that the PUMA’s were right!)

For what it’s worth, in the 2008 Presidential campaign, McCain raised $8 million from people who worked for healthcare companies, including lots of executives.

Obama raised ** $19 million **. You do the math.

(They just figured that out? And HOW many times did we try to tell them that before and how did they reply? “Racist!” )

if President Obama isn’t trying to scuttle his own campaign promise

No, no, of course, he isn’t trying to scuttle his own campaign promise. No, like any card carrying Republican, he is trying to scuttle America, drag it down the tubes, destroy our nation, which he hates and despises.

I’m sick of the man. Revolted, bitter, and angry that I and so many others were played for suckers into voting for him. Would we have been worse off under McCain and Sarah Palin? Beginning to wonder. Probably would have been no different.

(More laughing…I thought “we” were the “bitter and angry” ones? Look who’s bitter now!)…

Oh, how low they have gone, just like Obama’s poll numbers. I would be more sympathetic if they hadn’t treated all of us like Pure-T crap, or demeaned and belittled Hillary Clinton at every turn, demonizing her, downplaying her vast accomplishments, the warmth, the compassion, the intellect, the experience…So, yeah, I hate it for them, but they have no one to blame but themselves for how they’re feeling now. See? Vetting the candidate really DOES matter! Wowie zowie, just like we said!! Sigh.

Well, all I can say is stay tuned – it’s bound to be interesting at any rate, right? Can’t wait to see what the coming week brings…

Oh, I was laughing so hard at our elitist, chauvinist in the WH getting caught playing more golf in 9 months than Bush did in 2 years, I forgot to say thank you to you, RRRAmy and your brave friend Nunly, for the great blog post. I love to hear they’re finally seeing clearly over at AmericaBlog, the biggest “Hillary Haters” next to Kos during the primary. It’s a little late, kids, but glad to see you’re waking up from your kewl-aid induced delusions about the “mess-iah.”

      • TeakWoodKite

        Spot on Rev. Amy

@Mountianaires, you see BO looking to see if there is a secret messesage on his golf club?

Or maybe he put a nick on his putter and will plame the golf ball.

Or maybe he is having an intimate conversation with the head of his club….
        I better stop now… :)
        Have a great Monday!

Ha, here’s more news on our Golfer-in-Chief.

Fox News Ratings Soar After Snub From Obama

Viewership is up 9% since the “feud” began, according to Nielsen data.

The numbers on the bottom right of this chart show the sequential gain for all demos, and for the 25-54 year old demo specifically, where they’re up 14%.

What’s wrong with Golf? I’d rather have a Potus there than sucking a whisky bottle or fooling around with an intern. And at least Michelle, who all you regulars here detest so much, knows where he is. Also: “a healthy mind in a healthy body”.

        • beachnan

We would prefer he do a little work. He runs around making speeches, giving parties, going on dates, running to Denmark for his old stomping grounds, Chicago and apparently, 24 times,he has taken time away from his Presidential duties to play golf. Oh, and don’t forget his basketball games. I am getting tired of the excuses you bots make for this lazy man.

          • http://www.rabblerouserruminations.blogspot.com/ Rabble Rouser Reverend Amy

Amen to that. What a concept – wanting him to do his actual job rather than treat the presidency like it’s some kind of big ol’ party-time.

Golf, basketball, Weds. night parties – yeah, maybe he needs to sit his butt down in the chair in the Oval Office and GET TO WORK all ready!!

            • Lyn

I was only surprised he found that much time to play golf, what with all the parties, speeches, dates, and how many fundraisers has he done already, didn’t I see he broke the record for going to more fundraisers too?

Do his golfballs have the O on them like his basketball do?

              • http://www.rabblerouserruminations.blogspot.com/ Rabble Rouser Reverend Amy

Yes – Obama has gone to 23 fundraisers compared to 6 for Bush in the same time period, and 5 for Clinton.

                • FLDemFem

And the funniest thing about the whole fundraising comparisons is that Obummer, the guy they wanted for his alleged fundraising ability, is trailing behind Bush…those six fundraisers raised $42 million…twice what Obummer has raised in the 22 fundraising efforts he made. He managed to scrape up $21 million…that’s less than a million per fundraiser..Bush averaged $8 million per fundraiser.

            • foxy voter

Rev Amy — Great post — so we Puma’s were right after all? Obama has to be pretty bad to have the left and right both hating him. One Term President mm mm mm

          • Lana

And not only that, but didn’t he make nice to white folk during his campaign by going after AA dads to be better fathers and spend more time with their kids? So what does he do when he has down time? He leaves his kids and plays golf! Is there anyone in his line of vision besides himself??

And then there’s this in USAToday:

White House presidential adviser David Axelrod says the demands of his job can sometimes be hard since he can’t spend quality time with his daughter, who suffers from epilepsy.

She’s 28 and lives in a home for developmentally disabled in Chicago.

“It’s been hard to explain to her. She doesn’t understand why. She asks all the time, ‘Why does Barack Obama need so much help?’”said Axelrod, one of Obama’s top campaign strategists

Here’s an idea, Axelrod. Get off your power trip and go get a job in Chicago. Your daughter needs you!

            • Lyn

Gee isn’t that the daughter that Hillary as First Lady was one of the first people to help the Axlerods and fundraise for their organization? and then Axelrod repaid the favor by painting her and Bill as racists?

              • Lana

I didn’t know that. Thanks for sharing. I’m so angry at Axelrod and the whole lot of them. AAAARGh!!

                • http://www.rabblerouserruminations.blogspot.com/ Rabble Rouser Reverend Amy

Yep, that’s right. Hillary sure did, being the class act she always is…

                  • Lana

You are so right about Hillary. I don’t know how she survived being attacked like that by the many people she helped over the years. She is far stronger than I.

I was just sharing the Axelrod story with my husband. He immediately made the comparison to MO whining about what a sacrifice it was to have to go over and beg for the Olympics. Don’t these people realize that they asked for these jobs and are privileged to have them? If they don’t want them then…move on!

                    • Lana

AND I just was reminded that Axelrod went after Palin and said she couldn’t do her job because she had a special needs child.

              • Scout

Yes, I remember that. Just one of the many stabs in the back that dishonorable–because they KNEW he was not even close to her caliber) dems gave Hillary during the primary.

BTW, today is Hillary’s birtday. God bless you Madame Secretary. May our nation one day receive you as it’s rightful president; and may you be blessed with peace, love, and courage, today and always.

          • jangles

Obama and presidential fund raising first 9 months:

O scores 27 (and still counting)
            Bush 6
            Clinton 5

          • morris1030

It would be swell if Obama spent time on the job considering what’s before him.

But judging what he hasn’t done or shown any leadership on : Healthcare,Afghanistan, filling cabinet appointments, job creation and programs,
I have to conclude that his falling poll numbers will continue unless he summons up some guts and learns how to work.

Hillary Clinton has done more hard work in her job and currrently in Pakistan, than our golf hero has been able to muster.

        • trixta

Zut, how do you know BO isn’t messing around with his circle of boyfriends?

In any case, President Clinton was brilliant a multi-tasker, so your point is….well pointless. As for Michelle, besides yanking off sleeves as her number one hobby, she’s sorely in need of some authenticity. What is she a spokesman for this week?

It has already been established as fact by both parties that there was no president who worked harder and longer hours than Bill Clinton. His staff got in by 6 am every day and they were lucky to go home by midnight. Even ol’ Newt admitted that several times on television. He also stated Bill Clinton was absolutely brilliant (and he was one of his worst critics during Clinton’s administration!). The fact is that we had the most peaceful, profitable, debt free time in history under Clinton. Love him or hate him, you cannot dispute these truths!

Once again, Obama shows his committment to America:

“President Barack Obama has only been in office for just over nine months, but he’s already hit the links as much as President Bush did in over two years. CBS’ Mark Knoller — an unofficial documentarian and statistician of all things White House-related — wrote on his Twitter feed that, “Today – Obama ties Pres. Bush in the number of rounds of golf played in office: 24.”

“Obviously, he was lying about wanting the public option. No money in that, after all it takes a billion to become president.”

….and, speaking of which, there goes another promise. Do you really think Weary Barry is going to change campain/contribution laws?

  • candymarl

I would be crowing except that we will all, no matter the party or persuasion, will end up paying for this.

I understand that the younger generation wanted their turn. That is their right and it’s the way life goes.

I understand the need by those, disenfranchised for so long by America, to show that America can be a better place and that truly anyone can be President.

    All of that is admirable.

What bothered me was that many Obama supporters didn’t seem to care about the fact that his resume was thin. Or that Obama had little to no leadership experience.

That even given the opportunity Obama couldn’t be bothered to convene his own Senate subcommittee.
Or that Obama was only there for the photo-op after the actual work had been done by others.

Many Obama supporters didn’t even seem to care that Obama’s poorest constituents in Chicago were suffering while he was negotiating for a mansion with Rezko.

Obama, despite some calls for it, will never be impeached. Should that even be attempted the previous accusations of racism would seem like child’s play.

Obama may even be re-elected and he may be waiting for that to try to push through his agenda. After all, he doesn’t have to worry about reelection. But that’s not leadership. That’s waiting until it’s politically safe to act.

If we can survive GWB we can survive Obama. I truly believe that.

    • beachnan

I agree Candymarl. I always enjoy your perspective. We can survive his time, but I do pray it will only be for four years and not eight.

    • oowawa

Candymarl, you mention a very telling list of considerations. The same thing bothers me now that aggravated me throughout the Obama campaign: his appeal has been intentionally religious more than political, and this has not only made for an uneven playing field, but has moved the political contest to another playing field altogether. However long Thee One may be in power, I truly hope that he survives his tenure and leaves office hale and hearty. If something were to happen to him, he will be mythologized and deified much more than He is now, and we’ll NEVER see nor hear the end of it.

    • jangles

Have you figured in the cost of surviving 8 years of GWB and possibly 8 years of Obama? How many trillions does that add up to?

  • hokma

Obama’s rapidly declining poll numbers were predictable considering his fer left agenda that only appeals to liberals.

Unfortunately, Gallup also has a poll that this country is center/right and not liberal. In the poll, only 20% of Americans self-identify themselves as liberals.
    http://www.gallup.com/poll/123854/Conservatives-Maintain-Edge-Top-Ideological-Group.aspx

What Obama et al were hoping for was to rapidly implement socialist domestic policies and then use the balance of his term to rationalize them to a more conservative populace.

That’s encouraging. One day last week, I decided to send Jake Tapper a thank you email. When I went in search of his email, I found his twitter account. He was tweeting about an article in Slate so I went to read it. It was about which news stations were independent. It attacked Fox as being under the influence of Ailes, but said nothing about NBC and MSNBC being owned by GE, a corporation that has received millions of our taxpayer dollars from Obama and who spent billions to get him elected. One poster just asked, “So who do you think is a non-biased news source?” and the KADs came flying. He was attacked up and down. I couldn’t believe so many people still had their O’Blinders on. I came back over here.

    • Ferd Berfle

Why? My guess is pseudo-Marxist Rants.

I would agree. I would also add that, judging solely from his inability to speak coherently on a subject unless he has a TelePrompTer and his resorting to “I misspoke” excuses every time he actually fractures the language, I’d say he’s no better than a “C” student. His expertise in the Constitution is certainly no where to be found, either. I have been waiting a long time for an obamabot to actually explain how his hiding behind lawyers to keep his transcripts concealed dovetails with his oft-repeated promise of transparency. Because it doesn’t.

My theory is that he got a scholarship as a foreign national, and had to swear an oath, signed, that he was not an American citizen. That is standard procedure for foreign nationals accepting scholarships from people like the Fulbright Scholarship fund. And that paper would be in the files. Oh, and the Fulbright listing of all their scholars in the program was taken down during the campaign. If he did get a scholarship for foreign nationals, two situations could arise. 1) He is guilty of grand theft by perjury, ie. accepting the scholarship after lying about his nationality. The cost of a full scholarship is way over the grand theft cut-off of any state. So he could be indicted for grand theft.

      2) He is not an American citizen and therefore ineligible for the Presidency.

Either way, it’s something he doesn’t want out in the public view. If you were Obummer, would you?

  • Peggy Sue

The light is definitely fading on the Obama cult. The President was in Boston trying to raise money for Deval Patrick. Hard sell. Only half the ballroom was filled, even with a presidential appearance and endorsement. But then Patrick is another Axelrod product, all hopey-dopey flair signifying little.

And yes, Amy, the PUMAs still get whacked by the looney Left, even though they’re slowly realizing they bought a pig in a poke.

Vetting wasn’t important, huh? Looking beyond the man’s skin color and scripted campaign speeches was racist, huh?

Saying we “told you so,” only leaves a bitter aftertaste. Because this is what non-thinking brings and we all get to suffer for the idiotic choice.

Ask the people in Massachusetts, who didn’t show up for another lie-fest. The house of cards is beginning to tumble. Obama’s poll numbers are low now? Just wait.

Something happened to my post. Can you check, please. I was furious when I wrote it, but I don’t think I used any bad words–even though I wanted to!

hey guys and girls, some interesting info out of NY-23 congressional special election.if you havnt been following it there are 3 candidates,a dem,a left of snow rep backed by newt and the rnc and then hoffman eho is running on the conservative party line.last week the polls showed the dem in first ,the rep in second and hoffman in third.things have taken a very interesting turn, sarah endorsed hoffman last thursday and gave both the dems and the rnc a load of buckshot, followed by several other prominet reps/conservatives such as fred thompson.in the first 24 hours after sarahs endorsement hoffman took in over 100k and now to newts consternation the newest poll out today shows hoffman with a nice lead over the dem and the rep in distance third.GO SARAH!!!

BREAKING NEWS: Sarah Palin Supports ACORN Refunding

      ~snip~
The only way the fringe “news” outlets would ever report on ACORN in an antagonistic manner would be if Sarah Palin somehow supported this creepy cabal. Sarah, if you’re reading this column, maybe you should throw your name behind ACORN for a month or two just to get the White House/ACORN’s lap dogs to finally join with FOX and bark down the despicable ACORN clowns until they’re properly vilified, permanently defunded, and eternally ensconced in American history as nothing more than a bad, bad memory—a veritable proverb for corruption.

    • TeakWoodKite

Don I would be happy to see this race stay cometitive for Hoffman.

      • don tufts

it looks like it will and now tpaw has endorsed.i love it the party hacks either are late or on the wrong horse and Sarah’s stature is increased.

  • http://firefox Martha Washington Collier

Funny post yesterday at http;//thelotuslaptopoftheunitedstates.blogspot.com, “Fib Newton is crying” hahaha.

    My favorite though is:

    Madame 45 the Huntress

It is a well known fact that Madame is a huntress. She can take down a caribou or a moose with the best of them. In fact, Field and Stream Magazine called her a hero. Sadly, I’m not allowed to go with her or the rest of the family when they go hunting. It’s too cold, and they don’t want me to malfunction.

I must let you know that Madame is also a huntress in the metaphorical sense, too. She not only hunts caribou and moose; she sometimes hunts donkeys and RINOs. One day she just may hunt the gators that infest the sewers and swamplands that infest Washington D.C.. This week, she decided that she was going to do a little RINO hunting when she endorsed conservative candidate Doug Hoffman on Thursday. Madame isn’t against Rs, but she really doesn’t like it when they act like RINOs. Just like she said on Thursday:

Doug Hoffman stands for the principles that all Republicans should share: smaller government, lower taxes, strong national defense, and a commitment to individual liberty.

Political parties must stand for something. When Republicans were in the wilderness in the late 1970s, Ronald Reagan knew that the doctrine of “blurring the lines” between parties was not an appropriate way to win elections. Unfortunately, the Republican Party today has decided to choose a candidate who more than blurs the lines, and there is no real difference between the Democrat and the Republican in this race. This is why Doug Hoffman is running on the Conservative Party’s ticket.

Now I don’t know if you can make chili out of RINOs or if Madame simply wants to mount the RINO on the wall, but she certainly wants them to act like conservatives. Back in August of 2008, Madame had this to say, ” The GOP needs to live the planks of its platform, not just offer lip service. ” I don’t know if Madame will return to electoral donkey hunting after doing some RINO hunting, but if she does, she certainly knows what to do.

I hated Reagan as Gov of CA and the results for my family were not good when he was POTUS…maybe I’d have liked him better if he had been able to remember Ollie North’s crimes and all that Central American drug running he and Bush Sr., wink winked about. I do love Sarah though and for this time and place, I’d like to see her in the Senate. She, too, needs national exposure so people can see what she can do; I don’t want another POTUS elected on likability and personality without solid experience nationally. Though I have to say she’s already worked harder than Obama ever did.

I posted your column at the Confluence yesterday.

    “oh Sh-t wakeup moment”.
    Everyone liked it.

LOL abt the strut – I think I have it down, but I’m hoping I don’t have to break it out! :-)

  • Katmoon

I can imagine the little bitty brain explosions going on, as the reality sinks in. I have no pity or mercy for these fools, however. They are all in their own little circles of hell, with no idea of who Dante is.

Ma prima avea ciascun la lingua stretta
    coi denti verso lor duca per cenno;
ed elli avea del cul fato trombetta.

    (Canto 21, lines 137-139)

“But first each one had his tongue tight between his teeth toward their leader, for a signal, and he had made of his ass a trumpet.”

    • oowawa

Ah, Italian is so musical–even when it’s trumpeting out the rear end. But we mustn’t be fooled into thinking we’re listening to great elocution. Thanks, Katmoon.

      • Katmoon

        :)

        we’re listening to great elocution

No confusion, oral or anal its all flatulance. Totus elocutes, Potus falls flat….

        • Ferd Berfle

From whichever end he is talking in any given situation is irrelevant as it is all just meaningless noxious fumes anyway.

  • Ferd Berfle

Just in case you are keeping score (or want to), the Daily Presidential Tracking Poll at Rasmussen Reports has Obama’s approval ratings at 49% as of Friday, Oct. 23rd.

Yeah. I remember back just a few months ago when the obamabots were beating us all over the head with polling data, which they said proved That One was a good choice (yeah, as though that ad populum argument holds any water). Well, Obamabots, do you still believe in these polls now? Do you?

LMAO. Now they can’t even use the old fall-back faulty arguments.

    • Ferd Berfle

The sounds of crickets while I wait for an answer get a bit irritating after a while.

      • Lana

Love it, Ferd! Looks like the bots don’t even have the steam to try to defend him. Back to the crickets for you!

        • Ferd Berfle

Yeah, I just love it when the one silly argument they have falls apart and then they’re nowhere to be found to take their lumps and actually admit that either they were mistaken in using “polling” as facts or that those “facts” are now against them.

          • hc123

Zut alors! should jump in with a red herring any time now. Let me not nest too deeply, lest I block his witty repartee.

            • Ferd Berfle

              LMAO. Nicely done, hc123.

  • jangles

Wow. Check out the Daily Howler and Sotherby’s posting and comments on a dust up by Joan Walsh. She posts on the Clinton Tapes and unloads on the liberal press that continually tried to take down Bill Clinton. She names names including Tim Russert and company, Dowd, Frank Rich etc and calls them out for vilifying a truly liberal, progressive and brilliant president and bringing down Dems, contributing in a major way to the defeat of Al Gore and bringing us 8 years of GWB. And they are the same crew set up to bring us 8 years of BHO. They have never stopped to figure what it will cost us for 8 yrs. of GWB followed by 8 years of BHO or consider if we can survive that billing.

    • Ferd Berfle

With “friends” like the MSM, who needs adversaries? They certainly did foist GWB on us and then followed up with That One. I do wish the electorate would actually listen to the candidates and what they say and not what the MSM said they said, which is always functionally disconnected from what was actually said in one way or another.

  • Diana L. C.

    RRRA,

    Judas Peckerwood
If Obama’s ultra-secret overarching goal for his presidency is to make the PUMAs look sane in retrospect, then all I can say is “Well played sir, well played indeed.”

Thanks so much for the post. Love this person’s online persona. But I do have to say, I always thought the PUMAs were the sanest of all the people during the general election. It’ll take a little more time before these people drop the “make us look sane” routine and start hanging their heads in shame, knowing how much more sane we were than they.

Gongrats on the Yankees’ win! (Paul is from Mass., so I can’t let him know I said that.)

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HILLARY!
