Obama is an adult? You and people like you make me sick. Obama is and will go down in history as THE very worst president the United States of America has ever seen. The man is a liar and a fraud and couldn’t carry George W’s boots.
W made mistakes and wasn’t the brightest bulb on the tree but he was a man.
The sooner Obama is out of office the better off this country will be. Look at the fraud’s he surrounds himself with. Look at the promises he made and hasn’t kept. He and he alone is responsible for the deplorable state our country is in right now.

Christ, I don’t give a damn about Bush. Just because I don’t like Obama, doesn’t mean I liked Bush as well. But when you have Obama, Kerry, Murtha, talk about our troops like they’re the scourge of the earth, and Obama wanted them to pay for their own healthcare, don’t tell me he gives a damn about our troops just because he made a photo op out of what should have been a private moment. We’re not buying it, get it?

How freakin dense must you bots really be? You expect me, a military mom, to give the dems a pass when they all but call our sons and daughters in the military, “baby killers, and so on? Oh wait, they did call them that. Now you want us to believe that they respect the military? Have another glass of kool-aid bot.

Maybe this anti-Obama blog is going crazy from bloodlust. Bush gave up golf for the soldiers?? Uh huh.

I’m sure this from 2003 had nothing to do with it:

Bush, 57, will have an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) test on Thursday, Dec. 18. The body-scanning device enables doctors to see internal organs in 3D.

The MRI is being performed on the advice of the President’s regular White House physician. Last summer, Bush suffered a minor muscle tear in his right calf and that injury, along with aching knees, forced him to abandon his running routine. The calf strain healed by August when he had his annual physical, but the president said in September that he suspected he had a meniscus tear.

Bush played his last round of golf on October 13, 2003.

Obama is directly responsible for the over-blown exaggeration of his persona, and the marketing of his magnificence around the globe!
So who’s to blame when his humility is questioned?
One, he appears to have no idea how to proceed in Afghanistan.
Two, he appears to be dismissing the evaluation of the very expert he hand-picked.
Three, he appears to be willing to stall and bluff, hoping the situation resolves itself.
The air is leaving the bright, shiny mylar balloon!

Thank you Portia, I just would not want my loved one photographed for all the world to see. Maybe there are some who do, but I would prefer for it to be a private and solemn moment for my family. I know that there are many in my military mom’s group that feel the same way, and we sure don’t want any politician, from any political party to come around as well. They can stay the hell away. If they truly want to “support” our troops, they’ll quit using them as a political football, give them what they need, and support then when they come home as well.

For someone to say that Obama supports our troops, then why the hell did he want to make them pay for their own insurance, but then want the unions to have the taxpayers pay for theirs? Seems he has his priorities screwed up. He knows that the military guys don’t really support him, and he can get his donations from the unions, like he did this time. We’re not fools.

Martha, there has to be a back story to Newsom dropping out. I am not sure at this point weather state politics or DNC “got” to him. Perhaps there more sordid details of him cheating on his ex-wife that would have made it “impossible” for him.
Sombody got to him, I just wonder how.

I anticipate the Dems going after Whitman ala BO. Infact, it would not surprise me if the DNC “machine” was brought to bear in the upcoming governors race.

Lets see, all the ingrediants are present. A qualified busnisess woman who has run a Fortunate 500 and is interested jobs small biz and education in the state.

I may disagree with some of her positions but given a choice between ex governor Jerry Brown and Mrs Whitman, I would have to vote for the kid who grew up in Cold Springs Harbor, one of my favorite places on Long Island.
The California economy blows with the trade winds and it SUCKS with the 10% payroll tax increase coming next month.

That’s so true Onofre; giving credit where credit is due, and for the right reasons. Tony was a decent press secretary. I have to admit during the time I was so blinded by my dislike for the Bush administration, I didn’t give that credit, not until after having to cope with the incompetents since him. This is the problem with party blindness. I am no longer part of either party, and it does lift the veil and provides a freedom in thought and allows for critical thinking to a much deeper level on the issues. I’m not proud of having been in a state of political blindness for so long, and I am sorry it took seeing two decent women get savaged by the media to finally separate myself from the parties. Finally being an independent gives me no excuse for not examining or understanding policy that is being set forth. I no longer depend on any talking head political or otherwise to enlighten me, nor do I trust any of them; some I will give my ear, as they have earned it.
One military death or 14, regardless of the number at any given time, is still too much. It is political theater and nothing more for this president to show up and produce a well rehearsed, poorly delivered salute, lacking empathy. Having caskets photographed is a sticky issue for me. On a personal note my answer (please God, may I never know this moment) is no. I feel if you want to know what is going on in a war and you need photos to understand there is death and horror; you are either supremely naive, sadistic, or without the capacity to comprehend war without a visual display. IMHO Further, when the troops were shown circa WWII, there had been equal coverage of support, and in an entirely different context than what we know 60+ years later. Different people, who enlisted, and supported the troops, regardless of whether a camera was near by, and preferred their support to go to the living, not as an afterthought where the soldier would never know of their support. Military men and women and their families need that respect and support all year, not only during the holidays, nor at graveside.
