Anyway, yes, ratings were up. They said the game Sat. night did VERY well.

I saw that and was very frustrated – they said they were going to show Hillary but instead showed a guy standing in front of a door behind which was Obama. We caught a little bit of Hillary streaming it, and I hope to find it now that I’m home.

I am watching the commissioning. She looks and sounds like she’s sick. It’s the schedule and all the traveling, I’m sure. I wanted to go to this, but it’s by invite only.

As for some of the other comments from disgruntled people (Red Sox fans, perhaps?), I do not know what it is abt some people that they cannot allow others to be happy when their team wins. It isn’t an “orgasm,” but joy that a team one has spent lots of time watching and supporting did well. You’d THINK, from some of the responses, that supporting the Yankees was, in essence, like supporting Obama. Really, people. Just let someone be happy for a change without trying to harsh their buzz. Don’t know how it serves you to do that, but that’s your problem.

Again, for those Yankee fans, yay! Don’t let the naysayers get you down.

No other way to say it. Why in God’s name was third base not covered the night Damon stole it? That was a bush league mistake on the part of the boyz in red.

But we still love our Fightins – spring training starts in 95 days!

I have made no bones abt my displeasure at the amts of money these athletes make. It is obscene. But that doesn’t diminish my love for the game. No one plays it like these players do – they are many steps above the average.

It’s a joyous time for Yankees fans around the world, to be sure. We will be celebrating this win for some time to come…

Most of the country simply couldn’t care less. And considering the drugs,corruption and obscene amounts of money in sports I no longer care who wins or loses.
