I can’t predict what will happen in November. But as a reader of a broad selection of news sources, and analysis, I would say that Obama’s got big problems as the Democratic nominee, and no amount of mass rallies with charismatic speeches, and swooning, weeping crowds will help his image. In fact, I think it will only further alienate him with Independents, and it won’t bring Democrats like myself into his camp.

Aside from all of the current reasons you list above–all significant–that disturb and alarm progressives already, that one fact tells me all I need to know about Barack Obama.
