The TheirBarackObama Begging Site

How fitting that the Obama Campaign is on its way to regretting the decision made by their Arrogant Selected Ass to forgo public financing.

First, they didn’t meet their lofty goals for June. Surprise!

And the DNC has been tanking financially since the last quarter of last year. Surprise!

Do you think they have guessed why? Could it be that all those “downscale” Clinton supporters did more for the DNC and its candidates than they care to admit? Regret. It’s what’s for dinner on Howard, Nancy and Donna’s plate. It’s just too bad they are only having “health food” at the convention. Otherwise, Let Them Eat Cake would apply here. But never mind. Like Donna said, they don’t need us. Right?

We promise to give you what you asked for, Donna–except for the part where you suggested we all “stay home” on election day. Sorry, we can’t help you there. We are all going to vote. Yes We Can! Seriously, if I were you DNC Stalinists, I would really start to worry that the DNC/RNC comparison chart below is a reflection of what November 4th’s voting tally will look like. You can bet that millions of us will do all we can to make your nightmare your reality.

Here, we see the Obama Camp and the DNC begging for pennies. I love poetic justice, don’t you? Check out the charts and make sure you aren’t drinking any liquids because you will mess up your screen from laughing. I know you are all crying the world’s smallest river and playing the world’s smallest violin for them.

Plouffe is right about one thing….”The calvary[sic, duh] doesn’t exist”. Well, not really. The Cavalry exists, it’s just not buying into Obama’s crap. Millions of them are “Hos,” you know what I mean Barky, wink wink?

Karma’s a bitch that way. I’m so glad I have a screen shot, because we all know that Obama has plucked Winston straight out of 1984 to do the Scrubbing for him.

FYI: Chicago politics don’t play well outside of Chicago and YOU NEED THE LADIES THEY DO ALL THE DARN LITTLE JOBS THAT GET PEOPLE ELECTED!

NOW, they are even resorting to calling me an “OBAMA HATER” simply because I support PUMA and express my disappointment. They drove us all out of all the other blogs and now are trolling us to PUMA supportive blogs too…good Lord when will it stop?

I won’t go back to the Democratic Party unless it is reformed and I think they need to respect women and see that women are not a ONE issue constituency.

“Here, we see the Obama Camp and the DNC begging for pennies.”

Put Obama on stage and let him tap dance and we will throw him pennies.

Those from the DNC and Obama campaign who monitor this site listen up. If you nominate Obama I will vote for John McCain. Not only will I vote for McCain I will vote for Republicans up and down the ballot. I will not fall in line like a zombie. I hold the DNC responsible for this fiasco, caving into Sharpton’s threats of protests, trying to force Hillary to quit early, not allowing the process to play out, and trying to force SDs to vote for Obama instead of the best candidate.

If Obama gets elected the country will pay a high price and the Democratic party will pay the price in 2010 and 2012. You better think about the consequences before you make the worst decision ever of putting Obama on the ballot.

I am starting to wonder now if Obama’s even gonna be the nominee. Public sentiment seems to be turning against him like crazy. If he is the nominee, he won’t win, of course. Because America likes moderates. These reversals on Obama’s behalf to centrist policies are transparent to everyone.

This may be the result of winning a large share of delegates in caucuses. The candidate may have won the delegates but not the hearts and minds of the voters behind those delegate totals.

Plus, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a political candidate who lectures or outright publicly disdains entire segments of the voting public before.

He’s lectured us on race, (and in my book, he didn’t come close to the eloquence and insight of the Rev. MLK). He’s telling the AAs, now, just how they should live. He’s insisting that only his food preferences should be considered at the Democratic National Convention. He’s also said we eat too much, use too much gasoline, and keep our homes too warm. And now, he’s telling us what is okay for humor.

(On that one, there are a couple of excellent editorials posted on RealClearPolitics, btw.)

I hate to try to spell this word, but sanctimonious comes to mind.

I do like the PR where Obama is going to tour the world to “burnish his image”. As what? And I do like the part where, as BO announces his plan to fix Iraq, even McCain says changes in strategy usually come after the tour, not before.
Jeez. look where these fools have left us, choosing between BO and McCain…back to “none of the above”.

“FYI: Chicago politics don’t play well outside of Chicago and YOU NEED THE LADIES THEY DO ALL THE DARN LITTLE JOBS THAT GET PEOPLE ELECTED!”

Either Brazile, Pelosi and Dean are incredibly dumb, or this was a set-up. I have to think the latter. Each of these idiots has worked on at least one losing campaign. Unknown volunteers don’t sway voters in the GE; known community members and often women do. Republicans know this. That’s why McCain has had so many women involved in his campaign early on. This is Karl Rove’s WSJ piece:

Democrats don’t have the same large volunteer pool the GOP does with its Federated GOP Women, College and Young Republicans, and local party committees. In the primaries, Mr. Obama instead moved hordes of volunteers from state to state. It was a brilliant tactic, but Nov. 4 is different. The volunteers adequate for primaries held over five months will simply not be enough to compete in 51 separate elections (all 50 states plus the District of Columbia) all on one day.

Didn’t he say something about seeing Bill Clinton dance? Now we know who won that one.

What grassroots movement? Obama was selected early on by the DNC, by Brazile, by Dean, by Kennedy, by Kerry and many others who tried to hide their strong support for Obama from Hillary and from other principals in the DNC.

Setting up the primary dates fiasco to heavily favor Obama is not hardly a grassroots movement.

Twisting Clinton’s words to play the race card is not hardly a grassroots movement.

Fooling Dmocratic voters into thinking Obama is something other than an empty suit who evolved out of corrupt politics is not hardly a grassroots movement.

Continuing the pomp that this Obama thing is a grassroots movement is a fraud that will backfire in their faces.

    The O’begging site won’t accept a contribution of $0.02

Back in 2000, I contributed $0.01 to Bush…it put me on their mailing lists and they spent many dollars sending me W and RNC junk mail for years afterward — not to mention the credit card fees which were probably $0.25 for the transaction.

If there’s a way to get on the O’mailing list – do it…it sucks their money away. When they send you a business reply mail contribution envelope, pledge $2000 and don’t give your credit card…send it back — that costs them the return postage and guarantees that you’ll get even more costly mail from them.

    Dear Mr. Plouffe;

Do you recall a product a few years back called the Ronko Hair Restorer? It was a can of spray paint a person would spray onto bald patches to give the appearance from a distance that the person was not bald. The product sold like hotcakes till its failure was exposed. Up close it appeared fake, after a short while it deteriorated and pealed away and the mess it made when caught in a slight rain downfall was rediculous.

Does this not sound like your candidate, you marketed him well and amazed many people in the begining, but as time moved on, the failures and lies amounted to be to great to cover up. Face it, your product is useless, it has no real value and is simply a masking of area which nothing grows upon because it has not foundation upon which to grow.

So before you continue upon your path of bankrupting the country over a useless product like Ron Popeel did with his hair in a can product, do the right thing and scrap your product and chalk it up to lousy research and even worse product developement!

    Thank you!

    Dear DNC,

Obama is like when a guy lies to you to get you to sleep with him and then you quickly find out he’s married. Oh, sure, some women will still want to get fucked by him, but a large number will not. Those women won’t answer his calls, won’t read his emails. Nothing. It’s hard to win someone over when they’ll have nothing to do with you. The other thing about finding out you’ve been with a lying cheat is that next time, you pay more attention to any red flags. So DNC what I am saying to you is, don’t ever try this again. We will not forget and will be very suspicious of any “new” and “fresh” face you try to shove down our throats.

Obama’s politics is like a line from the movie “Pretty Woman” where richard Gere’s character asks Julia Robert’s character what her name is and she replies, “What do you want it to be?”

But Donna Brazilla told the Nation on Sunday morning that we [those Dems not supporting Obama] were merely a “few disgruntled voters.” You know, the clingy types, the downscale lunch bucket brigade, the voters who voted and then were discounted, told to stay home in November.

What Hillary might face in 2012.

The Petraeus-for-President scenario is out there, confirms Steve Clemons, a senior fellow at the New America Foundation and author of the popular beltway blog, the Washington Note. “A lot of people around him are beginning to think it’s the natural way.” Petraeus, he adds, could find himself on a “Wes Clark-like track, but on the Republican side.”

I’m with you! I hold every elected Democrat responsible, every one. Right down to the meanest local official and I intend to dump them all. They all went along to get along, not a one stood up, not a one. They all thought the money spicket was going to be turned on for them.

I just had a thought, what if they were paid off ahead of time to keep quiet. It is unusual that so many different people just kept quiet.

  • Clinton Fan

It was the entire Clinton Machine that resurrected the Democratic Party and made them credible and viable. Clinton was the guy that forced people–and that included DEMOCRATS– to “choose sides:” Are you with the people, who want government to be a helpmate to them, or are you with the greedy GOP, who used to want to drown it in a bathtub? Anyone with a brain in their head realizes that it was Clinton/Gore that in fact reduced the size of government, and the idiot at the helm now has made it gi-frigging-normous…and Obama has friends to bribe…he’d probably make it bigger still.

Before Clinton, the GOP didn’t feel the need to “fight” the Dems–they had them on a leash, and they’d roll over and do what the GOP wanted.

The DNC can kiss my fat downscale ass. I’m no longer buying what they’re selling. Those big fat “Jesus, PLEASE, you gave before; why not NOW?” envelopes from Barack Obama go straight into the trash. The savings go straight into my gastank, because Barack said we don’t “need” any help on that score from the government.

    Jerk.

The thought of sleeping with Obama makes me gag. He looks like a wimpy sack of shit, which would carry over into the bedroom. Lackadaisical and rythmless movement, so weak he couldn’t even hold himself up. Needs his partner to do all the work while he lays back. Yet, so self absorbed he wouldn’t even notice what his partner is doing. She could be snoring away, and he would be fantasizing about how great he is.

I have no doubt most of Obama’s previous campaign contributions came from Republicans wanting the worst candidate possible, and from dumbasses using their HELOCs to supplement their lifestyle. Now that the gravy train is over for many, it is not a surprise they aren’t sending dollars his way. They don’t have it.

  • KarenG

We have a really great Congressional candidate running this year. When he ran two years ago, he got
no DNC support because Rahm Emanual wanted to pour
all the money in another district. The person in the other district lost and our candidate on his own
actually did better but still lost by a very small margin. This year with a strong Democrat at the top of the ticket, there was great hope that he would
win. Unfortunately he is having a hard time getting people to work for him this time around. People
are not energized as everyone in the DNC said they would be and many are plain fed up with the party.
Our district chose Hillary over Obama and he embraced Obama fairly early on, working with the campaign in joint voter registration.
So this great trickle down effect that Obama was going to bring is not happening. In the Texas
primaries, my niece told me that a large number
of the Obama voters only voted for him and no one
else on the ticket. Hillary voters tended to do a better job of voting the whole ticket. Brazille and
her cohorts have really misjudged this time but watching Rahm Emanual two years ago, it is no surprise.

Democrat Controlled Congress Approval At A Record-Low 14%

Congress’ job approval rating has dropped five percentage points over the past month, from 19% in June to 14% in July, making the current reading the lowest congressional job approval rating in the 34-year Gallup Poll history of asking the question. The previous low was 18%, last reached in May.

They already do this. I just checked he is not due to report his filings until July 20. We will know his actual June figures on that date. However I found out he had to return a lot of money in June to individuals. OH! By the way he took $100 from another poltical operative in May.

  • DancingOpossum

I already made my contribution to Obama’s general election campaign when I checked the box on my tax return to provide him with $85 million in public financing. Its not my fault he turned it down.

LOLOL, moi aussi…I do this every year, that should e more than enough. Sorry. All my spae change goes to animal rescue and, of course, the Pantsuit Amazon.

  • BytheBeardofZeus

Some Democrats in this election cycle have said “Who needs the Clinton’s? What have they ever done for us?

    Well there they go again…

The Honorable President William Jefferson Clinton’s last State of the Union address to Congress on January 27, 2000 was the best report card to the American people in U.S. history. It was a record of historic successes that marked a decade of unprecedented economic prosperity under the first two-term Democratic president since Franklin Delano Roosevelt. They won campaigns. They drove the national agenda through fierce opposition, and they got results.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tN-I0GtVTeg

It’s remarkable that some in this video who were wildly cheering, are now at the fore of those who would rewrite history, and decieve today’s youth.

    I’ll Remember in November!

  • rjj

and if they let Obama win this one the Dems are history. They think long term. They may not back McCain.

  • Dave_Not_For_Obama

That’s freak’in hilarious, lol. Excellent idea.
I have copied the pdf file below for those who didn’t open up the pdf file.

    The Penny Protest
Never has so little said so much!
    What’s the point?

    1) This protest will physically show how and why many people do not support Barack
Obama. The position is that Obama is inexperienced, has no track record, has
questionable personal and political associations, and policies that are not in the best
    interest of the country.

    2) This protest is time consuming for the DNC. It forces them to remove the penny,
count, record the penny as a contribution, and then deposit it.

    Instructions:

    • Tape a real penny onto the “penny art” on the next page. (Don’t use glue.)
    • Sign and date the bottom of the page.
    • Fold and Insert into a business size envelope.
    • Address to the DNC. Write: “contribution enclosed” to the left of the address.

    Democratic National Committee
    430 S. Capitol St. SE
    Washington, DC 20003

    • Mail the envelope.

    Optional Action:
    • Email us at PennyProtest@gmail.com to confirm you mailed your Penny Protest. Your email can be as simple as “Jenny S. from Dallas, TX”.

If enough people participate, the mainstream media may report the protest. Your email confirmation gives us the evidence we need to prove to the media how
many of us think Barack Obama is unfit and unprepared for the Oval Office.
    Thank you!
    ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Instructions: Tape a real penny onto the “penny art”(my edit, image of penny). Sign/date the bottom of page. Insert into envelope.
Address to the DNC. Write: “contribution enclosed” to the left of the address. Mail the envelope to:
Democratic National Committee, 430 S. Capitol St. SE, Washington, DC 20003
Here’s my Donation to the DNC. This is the only
Donation I will be sending this year.
This generous donation accurately represents my
confidence in our “leader” Howard Dean and the
“presumptive nominee” Barack Obama. Both lack
experience, integrity, and leadership. Just “politics as usual” at our country’s expense.
I will not vote for Barack Obama.
    He does not represent me.
    • Obama’s been in the U. S. Senate for three years. Two of those years he has
been running for President. No foreign policy experience. No track record.
    • He refused Public financing after making a point that he would accept it. He
doesn’t keep his word or stay true to his own positions. He’s a flip-flopper.
    • He says he didn’t vote for the Iraq War, when in fact he wasn’t even in the
Senate and eligible to vote on legislation for the war. Again, misleading voters.
    • Obama says he doesn’t take money from Lobbyists, but he does.
    • He speaks of Unity, but his actions and rhetoric promote divisiveness.
    • Obama touts “working across the aisle” with Republicans but there is no
    evidence to support that.
    • Constantly takes credit for work he didn’t perform. He has “borrowed” most of
his words and many of his plans from other politicians.
    • He has a knack for dirty politics. Ongoing Caucus investigations of fraud, large
financial contributions to Superdelegates, stacking delegates on the local level,
using questionable tactics to remove opponents from elections, rewarding supporters with government funds/contracts.
    • His healthcare plan leaves out 15 million Americans.
    • Says he won’t raise taxes on middle class but admits he will increase the 15%
Capital Gains tax to 28% and lift the current $102,000 Federal Payroll Cap.
    • Questionable associates and friends, from racist leaders and former terrorists to corrupt businessmen.
    • When questions arise, Obama claims he doesn’t remember or responds “it’s no
big deal”. We’ve just had 8 years of that same attitude. Why would you even ask me to vote for this man?

“The trolls must be sleeping in this morning.”

    sorry babe,

I have been working for over three hours.

I even donated $25 bucks to obama before I came to check in on your dead-ender circle jerk.

Keep grasping at straws though, it is so amusing.

  • Janis

Oh Christ, is this WebCameron? That guy is a laughingstock in the UK.

  • jwrjr

Obama will “burnish” his image the same way that the Allies “burnished” Dresden in WW2.

  • Janis

And his campaign is going around deliberately killing pre-existing liberal grassroots movements. There will BE no liberal grassroots if they get in charge, none.

  • wodiej

heehee, outline of Hillary in a pantsuit, I can just imagine it…thanks for the visual…too funny!

  • Raven

Donna Brazile has emailed me on behalf of Obama ask-
ing for $$$. I wrote back letting her know, once
again, my position as a Clinton supporter, and I’m not happy with the conduct of the RBC. I told her
do support an “unfettered” Roll Call vote for Sen.
Clinton on the first ballot. No preconditions,
complete with supportive speakers, she has “earned”
this opportunity, just as other past candidates . Such as Sen. Kennedy, Hart, Rev. Jessie Jackson Sr.
Why are you NOT making the case on her behalf, in
support of our democractic process? We, Democrats are searching for and in need of unity. I think that would do it.
The idea that the DNC would seek to do anything ELSE
will compound the notion that this “presumtive
nominee” is “weak paper mache” rather than, one of
two historic candidates for the office to be cele-
brated at the convention. Only one, of course, will
leave Denver as our official nominee.
As I’ve responded before. My limited $$$ go to Sen.
Clinton. Anyway, you said something about the “new
    coalition”?
That was the gist of my email to DB.

yeah, pick charlie crist, the closeted gay man that magically just found a wife!

that’s just what we need in office right now, a crazy old man that thinks he can compensate for losing in vietnam by attacking iran along with a guy with a bad tan that can’t admit his own sexuality.

I love it when so-called “liberals” propose a candidate known in Florida as “Chain Gang Charlie”

He could even truthfully tell her what worked for the Republicans but neglect to mention it would backfire with Dems.

This is why I don’t watch the msm anymore. Donna and the rest are going to get on the air and insist everything is all hunky-dory in the determination that if they say it enough times, enough people will believe it and will fall in line with their program. Face it, a lot of people aren’t doing what we’re doing by staying online and informed.

My sister is a Hillary supporter like me, but she doesn’t get online. When I tell what’s going on she is perplexed that the msm is not reporting what I tell her. Unfortunately, she still believes that for it to be true it has to be on the news. She still can’t face the reality that the msm and their corporate bosses are in the tank for Obama. The whole idea is just too much for her to fathom. Fortunately, she has me to keep her grounded.

Which is why word-of-mouth is important to all those who may be tempted to believe Donna’s bullshit.

  • K. Wynne

    pew,

From what I understand, Hillary did not give her database of supporters to Obama.

Thanks for that video of Clinton’s SOTU in Jan. 2000. It is a stunning reminder of the past year’s nightmarish smear campaign against Bill Clinton–by Democrats!–and how low some so-called “progressives” have sunk in order to elevate Obama to the nomination.

I bet fat Donna Brazile has picked her share of it and eaten lots of it with all of those cow brains and

Yeah its the poke salet crowd that is tapped out for Obama, guess they had to pay their child support in June.
We poor white folks though are still clinging to our guns and our religion and we still have a little money left but it ain’t gonna go to help a

As I have said previously, the “fist bump” shows the total lack of respect and decorum lacking from Obambi in regards to political office. If he wants to hang with JayZ and the like, then by all means join a hip hop group, BUT stay the frick out of politics. It’s bad enough that political office has a tarnished image across all spectrum’s but to further denigrate it makes it seem as if we are watching a bad movie of a genre completely eclipsing “politics” as the root. A hash between “Ernest Goes To Washington” and “Pulp Fiction” comes to mind.

The “fist bump” is also a cheap pandering tactic Obambi uses to try and hood wink the AA community into thinking he is on the down low with them, nothing could be further from the truth, it’s all an orchestrated show, Hollywood/Chicago style.

So what are foreign leaders to think by the “fist bump”, how will that play out when Obambi takes his trip vacation overseas?

The “changed” dem party thinks that all O-followers wil BE THERE after he is defeated?? LOL. Most of them are TEMPORARY democrats. Hell, and even some of them were dead or house pets registered to vote O-no.

Obama campaign said something to the effect that they realized people had “campaign fatigue.”

There is probably something to that. However, today he’s getting blasted yet again for his policy flip-flops that have confused the entire party. As one writer said, he has to issue apology du jour. Then his speech yesterday is being mocked. Bring back the United Nations. Well, la de da.

But what I think makes it obvious that there are troubles in paradise are the DNC numbers. Pathetic. Why? Only party activists donate to the DNC. Regular voters may think they’ve got to plod up and vote for him. What other choice? But the party folks who support the DNC?

    No Deal!

John Glenn said this that should make you think a Little:

There were were 39 combat related killings in Iraq in January. In the fair city of Detroit there were 35 murders in the month of January. That’s just one American city, about as deadly as the entire war-torn country of Iraq.

When some claim that President Bush shouldn’t have started this war, state the following:

    a. FDR led us into World War II.

    b. Germany never attacked us ; Japan did.

    From 1941-1945, 450,000 lives were lost …
an average of 112,500 per year.

    c. Truman finished that war and started one in Korea, North Korea never attacked us.

    From 1950-1953, 55,000 lives were lost ..

an average of 18,334 per year.

    d. John F. Kennedy started the Vietnam conflict in 1962. Vietnam never attacked us.

    e. Johnson turned Vietnam into a quagmire.

    From 1965-1975, 58,000 lives were lost ..

an average of 5,800 per year.

    f. Clinton went to war in Bosnia without UN or French consent.

    Bosnia never attacked us .

He was offered Osama bin Laden’s head on a platter three times by Sudan and did nothing. Osama has attacked us on multiple occasions..

    g. In the years since terrorists attacked us , President Bush has liberated two countries, crushed the Taliban, crippled al-Qaida, put nuclear inspectors in Libya, Iran, and, North Korea without firing a shot, and captured a terrorist who slaughtered 300,000 of his own people.

The Democrats are complaining about how long the war is taking.

    BUT WAIT

It took less time to take Iraq than it took Janet Reno to take the Branch Davidian compound. That was a 51-day operation.

We’ve been looking for evidence for chemical weapons in Iraq for less time than it took Hillary Clinton to find the Rose Law Firm billing records.

It took less time for the 3rd Infantry Division and the Marines to destroy the Medina Republican Guard than it took Ted Kennedy to call the police after his Oldsmobile sank at Chappaquiddick.

It took less time to take Iraq than it took to count the votes in Florida !!!

Our Commander-In-Chief is doing a GREAT JOB !

    The Military morale is high!

The biased media hopes we are too ignorant to realize the facts.
    But Wait There’s more!

JOHN GLENN (on the Senate floor – January 26, 2004):

Some people still don’t understand why military personnel do what they do for a living. This exchange between Senators John Glenn and Senator Howard Metzenbaum is worth reading. Not only is it a pretty impressive impromptu speech, but it’s also a good example of one man’s explanation of why men and women in the armed services do what they do for a living.

This IS a typical , though sad, example of what some who have never served think of the military.

Senator Metzenbaum (speaking to Senator Glenn):
‘How can you run for Senate when you’ve never held a real job?’

Senator Glenn (D-Ohio): ‘I served 23 years in the United States Marine Corps. I served through two wars. I flew 149 missions. My plane was hit by anti-aircraft fire on 12 different occasions. I was in the space program. It wasn’t my checkbook, Howard; it was my life on the line. It was not a nine-to-five job, where I took time off to take the daily cash receipts to the bank.’
‘I ask you to go with me .. .
as I went the other day…
to a veteran’s hospital and look those men …
    with their mangled bodies …
in the eye, and tell THEM they didn’t hold a job!

You go with me to the Space Program at NASA and go, as I have gone, to the widows and Orphans of Ed White, Gus Grissom and Roger Chaffee… and you look those kids in the eye and tell them that their DADS didn’t hold a job.

You go with me on Memorial Day and you stand in Arlington National Cemetery , where I have more friends buried than I’d like to remember, and you watch those waving flags.

You stand there, and you think about this nation, and you tell ME that those people didn’t have a job?

    What about You?

For those who don’t remember During W.W.II, Howard Metzenbaum was an attorney representing the Communist Party in the USA . Now he’s a Senator!

I predicted months ago that many will go down with the SS Obama/Titanic.

I see that the DNCL is determined to go down with this sinking ship rather than admit that they were wrong. There’s not a spine in the Democratic Party. Everybody’s frightened and no one will step forward and say this is a disaster. They’re just going to sit back and watch te ship go down.

I still hold out the impossible dream that Clinton could end up as the nominee. But I have not wavered about voting for McCain if that does not happen. I’m actually more worried that they may try to force Hillary to be on the ticket as his VP. I hate that even more than the idea that he ends up with the nomination. Not because I would be tempted to vote for him, but because I simply don’t want Hilllary in the same zip code with this prick.

He’s going down in flames. And I want to toast marshmallows as he does.

I absolutely despise what he, Dean, Pelosi, Reid, Kennedy, Kerry, and Cruella Brazile have done to the Democratic Party. I want their heads on a platter. And only an Obama defeat will do that.

Then on the back it listed all the other Obama activities I could attend! They were havilng voter registration events and they made this statement: “We can chang the results of elections by changing who’s voting, register more voters = get more votes” They left out disenfranchising voters in two states and throwing away ballots. :) The funniest part was the “Bowling for Barack” party….challenging us with this….”We bet you can beat Obama’s score! Oh hahaha…knee slapper! Reminds me of Bush, isn’t it so cute how he’s bad at bowling. For Bush isn’t so cute that he was a “C” student. • http://obamafact.blogspot.com/ Mel

Plouffe’s message just underscored some major points against Obama:

1-fiscal responsability is tanked in regards to Obama, being short on money and yet spending hundreds of thousands of dollars to lease a stadium to feed Obama’s ego and the cost of having Usher perform there shows a total lack of monitary abilities.

2-managing finances in Obama’s own home is a failure, what does it prove of an Obama White House, besides failure?

3-asking to “make a donation to support this movement” is a term used by cults and street organizers, not political campaigns for POTUS especially, but thanks you Plouffe for finally confirming what Obama is really all about!

  • Jessie “I want to cut his nuts off” Jackson

We must keep up the pressure. Hillary can still be our next president!

I think so too, Fred. Even though Charlie is a silver fox, he’s a REAL foxy guy. I heard him speak about the DNC deal on FL. By the end, I tell you, I could see Dean slinking around in a trench coat whispering about how he was going to steal votes from old ladies and mothers with babies.

Maybe so but by that time (2012) all Americans will be so tired of war or anything to do with it , that they will not gravitate to anybody from the military establishment. General’s are obviously respected but more so when they remain within the confines of the military establishment, a more natural fit anyways.

Thanks for sharing. Those were the good ol’ days. Saw Bill locally when he was campaigning for Hillary. Boy did he ever lay out a great plan for the future of our country–Hillary’s plan. He was truly inspiring and gave hope that our failing economy from 8 years of an idiot can be turned around under the proper guidance. Hillary had a plan… a REAL plan. Bill had a great deal 2 for the price of 1, promising to work hard to do as he had done in his 8 years previous experience eliminating record debt and creating jobs and economic growth… what a deal! That’s something this country needs badly. We are in such a mess that it will take an enormous effort to dig out of this one. But the DNC totally blew it and chose to select their candidate bo who is nothing more than 4-more-bush.

I know the kissasses on CNN try to spin how things are “improving” for women but that is bullshit. My Two Cents: The Only Change I Can Believe In
    http://www.irregulartimes.com/twocentsforobama.mov

    Senator Obama,

When you announced your support for George W. Bush’s FISA Amendments Act and faith-based initiatives, you lost my trust.

A Democrat must always support the Constitution. To support government programs that blatantly violate the Constitution is not an acceptable political maneuver to move to the Center. It is to distance yourself from the center, from the core of what the United States of America stands for. That is what the Constitution is, and it is what you are rejecting.

So, when your campaign requested a donation from me, I thought I would send something appropriate: My two cents.

These days, that’s the only change I can believe in.

    Spend it wisely.

  • Davey

I’m from the UK and I kinda dislike Gordon Brown, but I REALLY dislike David Cameron. He’s so wishy-washy and is so out of touch with real people.

However, there is a possibility that he will get elected because everyone is so fed up with the Labour Party. If Obama is elected in the US, and Cameron in the UK, I think I may actually go crazy.

So the Republican convention got pushed the the first week in Sept!

So they’re gonna sit on their war chest till then.

And I would love to know when the fix for Obama was in—did they start working on it in 2004 when he gave that convention speech? And who besides Dean was working on it? They had it all mapped out by 2005.

A lot of my women friends are buying it. That’s the reason they give for backing Obama.

I personally agree that it’s now turned into a fear sledge-hammer to keep Democratic women in line.

It’s alot like abortion for Republican women.

I think it’s time we met in the middle on this deal and expand the definition of women’s issues, for God’s sakes.

When a male candidate is allowed to suggest that the female candidate only had “tea” in Ireland and get by with that, then obviously, sexism is being used politically. And you cannot even today get any of the unaware to recognize that reality. She brought out the best of credentials, had people testifying to her involvement……and he had the audacity to suggest it was tea?

That’s sexism. Who cares about the damn nutcracker. What I care about are more substantive forms of sexism that were employed almost daily and never challenged.

That has been my pet peeve throughout this process. My husband, (who did not care for Clinton) even gets it: Bill Clinton brought the party out of irrelevancy and put it “back on the map”, only to be betrayed by the very people he propped up (like Bill Richardson). His own party just throws him (and Hillary) under the bus like trash to embrace the ultimate empty suit?

WHY OBAMA IS CRYING real TEARS?

John McCain outsmarted him, thats why!

    Tue Jul 15,

McCain raises $62.5 million through public finance loophole

(Update: After I posted this entry, I found an article by the WSJ’s Todd Farnam reporting on the release of these numbers — good for him, and good for the WSJ.)

Here’s a story you can say you read first at The Jed Report: according to FEC reports filed on July 15, through June 30, John McCain had raised at $62.5 million in private funds that can be used for his general election campaign — even though he’s already committed to accepting public funding for the general.

Moreover, based on my own analysis, of that $62.5 million, three-quarters — $46.3 million — comes from a total of 1,803 wealthy individuals who made five figure contributions averaging $25,664 each.

So not only is John McCain blatantly violating his public financing pledge, but he’s doing it in grand style, raising money in increments of up to $70,000 per donor — more than thirty times the amount a donor can give to Barack Obama’s general election campaign.

How is this all possible? How has most of the media missed the story? Allow me to explain.

As you recall, on June 19th, Barack Obama announced that he would forgo the public finance system, electing to raise money directly from his 1.7 million supporters. In explaining his decision, Barack cited two key arguments: one, that John McCain and the RNC were jointly raising millions for the general election from private sources including from PACs and lobbyists and two, 527s would spend millions attacking him during the closing weeks of the campaign.

Now that the July 15 FEC reports have been filed, Barack’s first argument has been validated. The jury is still out on the second argument; it cannot be evaluated until the campaign is over or until a major 527 or independent ad effort has materialized, whichever comes first.

Still, even though Barack has already been proven correct on one of his key points, he was subject to a ruthless browbeating by the mass media, which pilloried him as a cynical opportunist for days on end. Not surprisingly, the McCain campaign aggressively pushed that storyline with a daily barrage of sanctimonious and hypocritical personal attacks from McCain on Obama.

Now, however, it is clear that even as the McCain campaign was on the warpath against Barack Obama, they knew that his argument about the McCain campaign’s coordination with the RNC was absolutely true.

First, ten days before Barack Obama announced his decision to forgo the public finance system, McCain campaign manager Rick Davis told McCain supporters that the campaign had discovered a way around the campaign finance system that would allow McCain to raise at least as much money as Obama — if not more.

Second, of the $62.5 million in private funds that McCain can use in the general election, $54.1 million — 86% — was raised before Barack Obama’s decision.

So it is absolutely clear that even as the McCain campaign was telling reporters one thing about their intention to stick by the public financing pledge, they were actually raising tens of millions of dollars from private sources for the general election campaign.

Hillary and Bill will have the last laugh, I predict.

I believe that Hillary did say to Bill, “He’s unelectable.” I think she’s right.

She’s just stepping aside (timing is everything in politics. Ferarro called it right. This was the year of the AA candidate, not the woman.)

When he fails, the Clintons will be fully prepared in 2012 to regroup the party.

And she’ll be young still. She has the kind of energy that comes from inside, because her focus is on truly accomplishing something for people other than herself. The Obamabots have this one upside down. He’s exhausted because it’s all about him and ambition. That doesn’t feed the soul bank. Being for something bigger than yourself does.

speaking of animal rescue, lol, have you heard of Best Friends

Yes, ginaswo, I have been contributing to them (when I can) for a few years. They truly do outstanding work!! I never have enough money to donate to all the worthy causes I want to, though!

I’m actually more worried that they may try to force Hillary to be on the ticket as his VP.

This thought gives me waking nightmares, the way thoughts of Bush being reelected did…We all know he’d rather put his nose in a grinder than have her as VP but as he continues to tank, the party may force him to concede that he needs her. Yecch!

OTOH he has shown himself as unwilling as his doppelganger Bush to listen to any views that don’t conform to his own narcisstic ones, and has repeatedly shown that the party’s concerns are not his. Unlike Hillary, whose loyalty to the party is fierce and unwavering, even to her own detriment…

Fortunately she has Bill advising her and I bet he tells her to run, not walk, from being his VP. If Webb and Rendell and all those other short-listers are running scared it must be for a very, very, very good reason. Usually people are begging and pleading to be VP.

Life’s been good to the K Street crooks over the past few years. Meanwhile, the economy is tanking due to 1. the sub-prime mortgage crisis – and Americans are losing their homes 2. credit market crisis 3. the war. Let’s be real, I am no fan of the Bush tax cuts, but the Democratic Congress and their friends on Wall Street have done their fair share o screw up our economy. Well, I think a little clarification is needed for this post (Original posting in itals)

When some claim that President Bush shouldn’t have started this war, state the following:

Okay, Tish, did John Glenn make these claims or are you just spouting off an old GOP talking points list? Somehow, I can’t imagine that John Glenn would have lent his name to these red herrings.

    a. FDR led us into World War II.

Um, no. You even provide the contrary argument yourself in the next “talking point”.

    b. Germany never attacked us ; Japan did.

So, did FDR “lead us into” World War II or did JAPAN (by attacking us)? Make up your mind (if you can find it). Secondly, Germany was ALLIED with Japan (that little “Rome-Berlin-Tokyo Axis pact”) PLUS Germany DECLARED WAR ON THE US.
Your talking point is therefor rendered null and void.

    From 1941-1945, 450,000 lives were lost …
an average of 112,500 per year.

    c. Truman finished that war and started one in Korea, North Korea never attacked us.

Well, FDR WOULD have but he had to go and die. Sometimes not even God will wait for you to finish a job. Furthermore, while North Korea didn’t attack “our” COUNTRY, we had troops stationed in South Korea and THEY WERE ATTACKED (you moron). I suppose THAT little point is conveniently ignored. What would you GOPers have had Truman do–let OUR TROOPS DIE for nothing (and not even be avenged)?

    From 1950-1953, 55,000 lives were lost ..

an average of 18,334 per year.

That, of course, includes the ones who died after North Korea attacked THEM. (By the way, how many SOUTH Koreans died in that conflict? You don’t mention that.)

    d. John F. Kennedy started the Vietnam conflict in 1962. Vietnam never attacked us.

Who was that said “a little learning is a dangerous thing”? Whoever it was must have known about you.
For the record (and there are history books available for your perusal), the Vietnam Conflict began long before Kennedy got involved. Vietnam waged a war of independence from France immediately after WWII (the main reason HoChi Minh was so especially ticked off at the US later was that the US had offered a pledge to the Vietnamese–during the war–that the US would support ALL decolonialization efforts in territories that the Japanese had occupied; Truman AND Eisenhower both reneged on the pledge) and finally kicked out the French in 1954–after a little battle called Dien Bien Phu. THEN, the US (under EISENHOWER) rejected the original plan to allow all of Vietnam to vote in an election and sponsored the eventual partition plan which led to the later conflict. Kennedy was bound by treaty obligations to the South to offer military aid.

    e. Johnson turned Vietnam into a quagmire.

Technically, one could argue that the VietCong and the NVA turned the war into a quagmire. Those stubborn Commies just wouldn’t accept the US version of reality.

    From 1965-1975, 58,000 lives were lost ..

an average of 5,800 per year.

But, you made the earlier claim that Korea suffered heavier casualties (in a MUCH shorter period of time). How exactly does Vietnam rate as a “quagmire”? (I’ll take this moment to also point out that your math is very shoddy. Korea spanned 4 calendar years, not 3; Vietnam spanned 11, not 10.)

    f. Clinton went to war in Bosnia without UN or French consent.

    Bosnia never attacked us .

Hey, again, go read a real book. NO ONE has ever suggested that “Bosnia attacked us”. Bosnia was a case where the events of WWII’s Holocaust threatened to repeat. Bosnian SERBS (that is, people of Serbian ethnicity) wanted a larger portion of Bosnia to be united with Serbia. The problem is that much of the area the Serbs wanted include a lot of NON-Serbs who didn’t want to leave their longtime homes, so the Serbs just decided to show them who was the “master race” (round up and kill the Non-Serb men, rape and mutilate the women). But I suppose none of that matters since it didn’t involve good ol’ ‘Merkins.

He was offered Osama bin Laden’s head on a platter three times by Sudan and did nothing. Osama has attacked us on multiple occasions..

That has been shown to be a lie. The fact is that when Sudan ALLEGEDLY made these “offers”, bin Laden was NOT wanted by the US (IOW, we had no LEGAL cause to request or require his extradition). The US DID try to get him sent to Saudi Arabia (which was, LEGALLY, the proper thing to do) but bin Laden fled to Afghanistan. (You might also recall that when Clinton DID attempt to take out bin Laden in Afghanistan, his effort was repudiated by the GOP as “wagging the dog”.)
I’d also like to point out that there were claims that the Taliban made an offer to hand over bin Laden after 9/11, but the Bushies wouldn’t have anything to do with it because the Taliban wanted to do it through intermediaries so they wouldn’t lose face in the Muslim world. (Apparently Dubya, who’d hosted the Taliban while Governor of Texas, wanted the handover to be made very public).

    g. In the years since terrorists attacked us , President Bush has liberated two countries, crushed the Taliban, crippled al-Qaida, put nuclear inspectors in Libya, Iran, and, North Korea without firing a shot, and captured a terrorist who slaughtered 300,000 of his own people.

Um, what countries were “liberated”? One ONLY “liberates” a country that is occupied by an outside force (as with Kuwait in 1991). “Crushed the Taliban”? You might wonder then who’s causing the current Afghani government so many problems. “Crippled al-Qaeda”? Really? Then, why exactly are we still in Iraq? “The nuclear inspectors”? Are these like the ones that Dubya DIDN’T listen to when it came to Iraq? Should we expect to being sending troops to Iran, Libya and North Korea soon? “Terrorist who slaughtered 300,000 of hiw own people”? I’m sorry, but wasn’t one of your EARLIER points arguing AGAINST our involvement in Bosnia? Why would it have been okay for thousands of Bosnians to be slaughtered but a similar slaughter in Iraq demanded our involvement?

    Go back to your bridge.

I was surprised to get a phone call from the Obama campaign yesterday. I hadn’t given any money to Obama since he ran for senator in Illinois and had, in fact, asked to be taken off his mailing list once I became an ardent supporter of Sen. Clinton. Since the caller seemed genuinely flabbergasted to learn that he was talking to someone who wasn’t an Obama fan, I believe that my name didn’t come off of Sen. Clinton’s mailing list. Therefore, the Obama campaign must be desperate if they’re contacting people who supported him during the 2004 senate race, or they’re going through the refuse pile to get the names of people who had rejected him in the primary contest.

    50 States
Two Texas campaigns. District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Democrats Abroad.

How many does that make? No wonder you lost if you thought there were only 50 elections.

    Make Penn refund his fees.

Did you see the link here last night, that you can tape prepaid envelopes to boxes filled with anything like bricks? http://officeofstrategicinfluence.com/bulkmailer/
Step one: Get the “No Postage Necessary” envelope out of the junk mail.

Step two: Put a brick (or anything) in a box.

Step three: Tape the “No Postage Necessary” envelope neatly to the box

Step four: Put it into those blue mail boxes, the parcel dump at the post office, or in your mail box.

Thank you, the assertions of the highly opininated yet historically ignorant never cease to amaze me.

It is however worth noting that at the conclusion of WWII all of europe was bankrupt. They had not even a viable infra-structure with which to sustain themselves. France included.

The French action in Vietnam was entirely financed by the U.S. at our behest. The Brits and the French particularly were rightfully terrified of a reunited Germany. For our aquiessnce in Germany’s partition and in retaliation for their rather boorish ungratefullness, we exacted this price in Vietnam. Which more than a little duplicitous of us as the Russains were in the east in such force as we really had not much choice anyways.

By and By, the French maintained their paranoria of united Germany right up until the last, and protested mightily against it when proposed by Bush41.

Can you provide the COLB of John McCain (not just some friendly reporter saying he saw it)?

    Not his cousin – idiot.

Even the Republicans have stopped using Rev Wright.

Other than bigotry (which anyway is the foundation of most religions) what has Dobson done?

Wright, joined the United States Marine Corps and became part of the 2nd Marine Division attaining the rank of private first class. He joined the United States Navy and entered the Corpsman School at the Great Lakes Naval Training Center. Wright was then trained as a cardiopulmonary technician at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. Wright was assigned as part of the medical team charged with care of President Johnson. Before leaving the position in 1967, the White House Physician, Vice Admiral Burkley, personally wrote Wright a letter of thanks on behalf of the United States President.

So spare us your fox news talking points. Why attack Hillary? She went after him – despite him acting as Counsellor to the Clintons during their “Monica” difficulty.

I must have lucked out with the worker bee who actually read my last e-mail to the DNC.

I merely said, “This is the 2nd time I’ve told you that I’m no longer a Democrat.”

I have not been bothered since then.

First of all, I haven’t any interest in what any of our politicians do in the bedroom. I just cannot understand the obsession of our country with sex. I must say that I think it’s ridiculous that there is still such a puritanical strain in our country that we think that could possibly make a difference.

Second, Crist is a silver fox with a gift for speech. He’s Republican, but he just pulled in a huge deal to save the Everglades. Nobody else has accomplished that. I’m very happy for Florida.

As for the shenanigans the Republicans pulled pushing Dems into an early election? Shame on him.

But I can fully understand his attraction there.
