Obama’s Home Teleprompter Malfunctions During Family Dinner

And this is a late night open post …

This hilarity was created by The Onion, and posted at ThePolitico.com.

  • Galt goes to Hollywood

    Hey thanks for posting!

  • TeakWoodKite

Thanks Harbor Master, for the slip. Anyone watch the senate judicuary oversite hearing with Holder?

He was questioned as to the rational for sending KSM to criminal court vs. Military. The AG did not have an answer except to say “following protocol”.

When asked by Senator Grahm weather or not Osama Bin Laden would be tried in which court, he couldn’t answer.

Schumer stated that according to NYC officials the cost at a min, is 70 million. Personally, they kill us and we pay again?
    Crazy shit.

    • Cindy

Teak- Yes, I saw Graham’s questioning. It was exquisite.
If Holder were a fish, he’d be a flounder. It’s just pathetic that he’s our #1 attorney. I think we owe Albert Gonzales an apology.
And someone needs to send Holder a copy of “Judgment at Nuremberg”, so he’ll have a clue!

    • Bronwyn’s Harbor

was that not a pathetic performance? it makes me, most of all, frightened.

      • Galt goes to Hollywood

There’s a lot to be frightened about. A seed of a pure evil tree has propelled people into leadership positions that have no business being there. The tree now bears fruit and innocents are being poisoned by it.

        • TeakWoodKite

Holder is asked why there is still a backlog of rape kits to be processed and entered in to the database… 500 million dollars later and still nada.

He was un-informed. Nice, for a guy who came up through Civil Rights.

          • NomNomNom

I read over at the Curvature a couple of days ago that there are untested rape kits from Louisiana that date back to 2001.

  • Obamastolemycountry

Hahaha! Love that. I’m surprised Biden has his remarks on his arm in magic marker and he still gaffes so much? Too bad. Maybe there should be speech training sessions and etiquette classes between election week and inauguration week when we have clowns like this elected. Well, hopefully that will never happen again!!!

I must add that I think BHO could let the teleprompter stand in for him all the time. I’d much prefer reading the promter than hving to listen to Mr. uh, er, uh!

  • Cindy

    BH—Thanks for the hilarious video!

MILLION HIT BY ‘PLAGUE WORSE THAN SWINE FLU’

What is to believe anymore? Our national media is propaganda. This is out of Britian. The WHO says the black lungs are an unusual presentation of regular swine flu. Then there are the reports of aerial spraying and of a bio weapons plant operated in the Ukraine. Then again the people of the Ukraine have to be edgy going back to Chernobyl and the cover up there. What is to believe anymore? Who knows. We can’t trust our media, can’t trust congress, and can’t trust our President to be truthful. Anyway here it is.

    http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/140492/Million-hit-by-plague-worse-than-swine-flu-

    • Galt goes to Hollywood

I think its possible this is a hoax. Not sure a bout this source, but the theory they have makes sense:

      http://www.australia.to/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=16456:ukraine-who-and-the-geopolitics-of-swine-flu-panic&catid=71:world-news&Itemid=301

Latest reports of what is being called a deadly Swine Flu outbreak in Ukraine according to on sight reports appear to be a political concoction by a threatened government to avoid election defeat and possibly declare martial law. The details indicate how convenient the current WHO “Swine Flu” H1N1 “pandemic” scare is for regimes in trouble.

      • Docelder

This one has a lot of information also.

        http://baltimorechronicle.com/2009/111109Lendman.shtml

Since it’s a late night open thread… the chronicle linked to this site and this is some really weird stuff. I have no idea of the veracity of any of it as of yet.

        http://theflucase.com/downloads/Evidence_of_the_use_of_pandemic_flu_to_depopulate_USA.pdf

Who knows? No pun intended. ;)

        • Galt goes to Hollywood

Its IMO highly unlikely these conspiracy theories hold any weight for the simple reason what is released could mutate into something far worse. Anything’s possible, but I chalk up these theories to highly unlikely status.

        • NomNomNom

lol, that is some pdf, 134 pages! should be a fun read regardless of veracity, thx

          • Galt goes to Hollywood

Nom3x, don’t forget to darn your tinfoil hat.

          • Docelder

Yep, there is a hodgepodge of interesting stuff in there. Also, is this reference to the retail prices of some drugs as opposed to what is actually costs to make them. These are the most egregious examples. Funny they are also some of the more popular drugs prescribed these days. Coincidence? I no longer believe in coincidences myself.

Xanax 1 mg Consumer price (100 tablets) : $136.79 Cost of general active ingredients:
            $0.024 Percent markup: 569,958%

Prozac 20 mg Consumer price (100 tablets): $247.47 Cost of general active ingredients:
            $0.11 Percent markup: 224,973%

            • Galt goes to Hollywood

what is actually costs to make them

Is that the manufacturing cost only? I assume so. The R&D costs are astronomical, which explains a big chunk of the huge markup.

            • http://firefox AnnieCarmel

Frankly I’d just as soon see these drugs priced out of existence since that’s obviously what they crush and put into the Kool Aid. Maybe one of the reasons what with the high unemployment, financial debacle, etc., that people are starting to wake up…can’t afford the drug laced KoolAid…in more ways than one!

    • NomNomNom

I have been seeing this and the viral pneumonia claim for a while now on the conspiracy blogs, but it is not reported this way on any of the russian or ukrainian blogs
http://www.kommersant.ua/doc.html?docId=1271617 (need to run the Общее недомогание titled part thru google translator: http://translate.google.com/#)
Kommersant reports that it is an acute respiratory flu, probable swine flu, and that the claims of its deadliness are overstated.
Yushchenko is still duking it out with Timoshenko; Yushchenko just announced he was going to reinstate Yekhanurov as defense minister (Timoshenko was behind his sh#tcanning for purported corruption):
best bet: Yushchenko is inflating claims of flu problems in a bid to delay election

      • Galt goes to Hollywood

When I first saw reports of this here on NQ comments, I thought “hoax” to myself. Not a hoax by the commenters, but the reports they were relying on. No offense to anyone intended.

        • NomNomNom

but it ties in very nicely to the Joseph Moshe thing, you must admit
http://pimpinturtle.com/2009/11/18/joseph-moshe-update-november-18-2009.aspx (has a link to the backstory)

          • Docelder

I know, when you can’t believe any if the traditional media anymore there are going to be misfires by the new media. But the new media is all there is if the traditional media can’t be trusted anymore. Meanwhile, President Obama is off in China talking about the free flow of information while he is appointing an Internet czar at home and saying FOX isn’t a news network. These days, watch what is done, and ignore everything which is said.

  • Phishmelt

Its not TOTUS’s fault, its the fault of the Prior Administration’s TOTUS.

    • http://! stodgie

it is obama’s fault, deal with it.

      • bayareavoter

        ha ha! perfect

  • beachnan

I’m not sure where I can verify this, but I heard that the number of vehicles involved in the President’s entorage in China was 70. Seventy… the rest of us can scrimp and save, but our Prez likes to go first class all the way. How much is it costing us to have him fly all over the place for what exactly?

    • Docelder

fly all over the place for what exactly?

Isn’t it obvious? Look at the China photo-op. He is all modern day Presidents rolled into one. He is Nixon, He is Reagan, He is Clinton etc. Any positive image we have of any former President any of us can remember, he has a photo-op re-creating the moment so as to co-opt the positive memories. All subliminally of course, like the bogus Presidential ripoff seal. At least that is the intent of his pr people. They think all Americans are ignorant.

      • Docelder

Here is what I am talking about with the perpetual p.r. campaign. They are shameless about it all. Everything is for show.

“You guys make a pretty good photo op,” the president said.

Standing on a riser wearing a blue suit and red tie, with a cluster of troops and a large American flag behind him, Obama expressed “the gratitude of the American public” and said his meetings in four countries over eight days in Asia will help deliver a “safer more prosperous world for all of us.”

He got a huge cheer when he told them he was increasing military pay. “That’s what you call an applause line,” he said, before boarding his jet and taking off at 4:11 p.m.

    • Seriously Sick of Obama

      Beachnana-It’s actually 71 car entourage..it’s on the Drudge Report~

  • ACPD

What a lovely and refreshing bit of reality! Sarah Palin doesn’t seem to be needing any prompting in her interviews….The truth always comes out…eventually.

Mr. Obama’s daughter obviously love him very much this tells me he’s not all that bad a dad.

    • **== SUPER GALT **==

Why isn’t that special. Meanwhile, to get where he is, look what he did to other women (his daughters are women I assume) during the election.
