I wondered the EXACT same thing Ellen D! If this was so “impromptu” & “sincere” why was there a professional photographer there capturing so beautifully the mist on the ground etc. Also, after witnessing all we’ve witnessed for the past 2 years of Obama, you absolutely cannot convince me any longer that Obama & Michelle were completely oblivious of such a great photo op – they both are morbidly addicted to receiving good press – could Michelle possibly be on any more magazine covers? I think it was all contrived – not to say he doesn’t feel anything – but he lives for his ego – period. Also, btw, the girls aren’t teenagers – they are 10 & 8, I believe; I thought my father set the moon at both 10 & 8…teenage angst has yet to set in for either of these girls but – still and all – he probably is a good father.

If BO cares so much why is he forcing Americans to accept a HC plan that would spell disaster for this country? The Democrats have the 60 votes to bring the HC debate to the floor. This is madness. Landrieu was paid off with our taxpayer dollars to get her vote.

If BO cares so much why is he taking billions from Medicare (a program that is going broke) and shuffling it to Medicaid? About 35 to 45% of doctors do not accept Medicaid patients. The Democrats want us all dependent on the government. That is tyranny. I could care less how Obama gets along with his daughters. However, when he starts rationing care with false guidelines regarding health care screening (breast cancer and ovarian cancer) he is playing God.

Vote Obama and these Democratic bums out of office……

I always subscribed to the lesser of 2 evils policy as well, until this election, when both choices were past my evil line in the sand.
I voted 3rd party in the hopes that one of the 3rd parties would get enough votes for matching funds.
from here on out, I’m voting 3rd party.

I miss every other President prior to Obama. Whatever their agenda, they loved this country and its people. This is like a bad relationship where everytime you leave the house you worry if your personal belongings will still be there when you return.

Like you I voted Republican for the first time last year. I thought maybe it was a protest vote but the more I see the Dems trash their constituants — the more I realize that I am comfortable with the Republican Party and I will never go back.
