OBAMA: Well, let me — let me be absolutely clear. Israel is a strong friend of Israel’s. It will be a strong friend of Israel’s under a McCain government — administration. It will be a strong friend of Israel’s under an Obama administration. So that policy is not going to change.

        Saw a snippet of the Couric interview on the news and couldn’t make head or tail of what he was trying to say. It was something about sending the troops from the surge to Afghanistan and that would help with an energy program, or something. It was way confusing.

They keep hitting him on his “gaffes” No mention is made by David Knowles and Tommy Christopher about Obama’s problem, just all about McCain’s AGE and GAFFES.         Thank you for that Liberty Belle. It was very interesting and creepy at the same time. I think it validates how a lot of people feel about him without knowing exactly why. Some people are more sensitive to these cues and others, like the author of the article are well trained to identify the signs in an systematic way.

    Okay. We haven’t seen Obama’s birth certificate. Have we seen his medical records? I happen to catch a minute or two of Obama on one of the cable shows earlier in the day. I thought he sounded a little more fluent than usual, or, I should probably say, a little less bumbling than usual.

    This quote is a little disturbing. It reminds me of a professor I had years ago who had a thing about marijuana and used sing its praises in the classroom. Occasionally, he would have these episodes of talking gibberish; he also seemed to have memory problems. He didn’t last very long.

    Is Obama on some kind of mind-altering prescription medication? Or is his mental stamina so degraded after his admitted history of drug use that this is what we can expect everytime he gets a little fatigued?

      2. He gets tired a lot, or seems to be too tired for the energy of schmoozing endlessly. This could be related to #1 or to other causes.
      3. When he isn’t prepared, he screws up verbally. It reminds some people of being drugged somehow; some, of being deprived of a drug; some, permanent damage from a drug; some, basic ineptitude with no need for drugs. In any event, the commonality is faulty memory, it seems to me. Again, there could be various causes. Personally I see him as having had good natural talents that are being reduced to reflexes, like dementia.

    Well, I had to laugh when I heard Andrea Mitchell comment that Obama had given “fake interviews”, because the they were done by the military as opposed to “real journalists”. With the exception of a rare few, the majority of questions I’ve seen given to Obama by “real journalists” have been pretty lame.

    The committee hosting the Democratic National Convention is using the city’s gas pumps to fill up on fuel, avoiding state and federal highway taxes, officials said today.

    “There’s something there that just doesn’t seem right to me because, in a sense, you’re saying then that the officials who pass the laws are not willing to live by them, and that concerns me,” Councilwoman Jeanne Faatz said.

    The issue came up during the council’s weekly meeting with Mayor John Hickenlooper when the Public Works Department requested authorization to be reimbursed by the Denver 2008 Convention Host Committee for use of “fueling facilities, fuel and car washes.”

    I watched the Katie interview and that’s saying a lot since I LOATH looking or listening to him. It took incredible willpower not to change the channel.

    What a freakin’ azzhole was what kept running through my mind. He was condescending to Katie Couric and was just an arrogant blowhard.

    Bush is at least for a grammatical gaffe here and there. But Obama is just plain worthless and a druggie. He reminds me of the old commercial of the frying pan and the egg. Fried!

    Everyone should read it. It provides an in-depth discussion of Narcissistic Personality Disorder and Obama. Here is part of a comment from a psychologist responding to this excellent article:

In my humble but professional opinion (clinical psychologist), my observations confirm to me that he [Obama] clearly meets five and most likely more of the above criteria. I have never given a diagnostic opinion for anyone without evaluating them personally, so I am reluctant to make this decision. However, as a psychologist may be employed as an expert profiler, this is my firm diagnostic impression. I’m interested in what others may think, keeping in mind their training and experience.”

His response was to get pissy and condescending the way he does around anyone who dares to question him, especially a woman.

    Now, let me tell you that I think Bush is a hundred times better, relatively, than Obama–not psychologically as they are both in dire need of long-term therapeutic intervention. Neurologically and physically, generally, Obama has multi-faceted health issues that will become problematic if elected. His stuttering prose is due to a neurological disorder and may have been caused by overdoses of crack usage. (He is still smoking yet he searches for arugula at Whole Food stores in Iowa!). His physical demeanor is shaky and very RIGID. Why? He keeps repeating certain words ad nauseum. He is constantly searching for meaning as he is not sure who he is or what he really wants, other than unbridled Ambition.

    He may suffer from high blood pressure (normal for African-Americans) and he must have a THYROID problem. His pics when a young 6 year old boy, were that of a healthy chubby boy. What happened? His use of narcotics must have included some hospital admissions we’re not aware of.

    Obama appears to have neurological, emotional and psychological problems. Pres. Bush, excepting STUPIDITY classified as illness, is healthier and he looks ruggged compared to this obviously malnourished and hormone-deficient democratic hopeful.

    Obama needs a speech therapist, a neurologist, a physiotherapist, an endocrinologist, a Psychiatrist and….a change in careers. Do us a favor, Senator and look after your health soon.

    The Presidency should not be used as a psychiatric couch. Too expensive a way to find yourself! For us, anyway!

    I don’t get your point? Reading your passage reminds me that a little censorship on these on-line blogs can be a good thing. There is simply no way to know who is posting messages or what their agenda is. Some people are sincere and have good ideas while others aren’t. And they should never, ever allow someone who posts a message to call Obama, Hillary, McCain or any other public official vile sexist or racist names. It is one thing to think Obama is an idiot. It is quite another to demean him because his skin is brown.
