The Denver Convention….You Will Be Assimilated….

Ah, will the glorious wonders of the Borg Prince ever cease? He has given us so many gifts in the last few months but I want to personally thank him for this one. As he has declared and so made happen, an open convention for the masses shall be had at Invesco Field….but not quite as open as one would like to think, click here.

Houston: I am still thinking we have a problem…..and it’s name is The Borg Collective….

The crowd enveloping Barack Obama when he accepts the Democratic nomination for president at Invesco Field at Mile High will be asked to get to work for the privilege of witnessing the historic event live.

In a half-hour interview Wednesday with The Denver Post, Obama’s deputy campaign manager, Steve Hildebrand, said he wants to use the ticketing process as a massive recruitment tool meant to bring in supporters from all 50 states and energize them to carry the campaign into the final 60 days of the general election.

“We’re going to ask those 80,000 people in that stadium to march out of there and go with very specific instructions and goals to register millions of new voters,” Hildebrand said.

Those who want a seat will begin the process at their local Democratic Party office. While demonstrating their ability to attend, they also will be encouraged to sign on to the campaign as volunteers.

Hildebrand said that to ensure the campaign fills the stadium, the application process becomes in and of itself, a recruiting tool.

“Every single person is going to be a level of seriousness,” Hildebrand said. “You know, ‘Tell us how you’re going to get there from Maine. Tell us how you’re going to get there from Florida. Give us a sense of whether or not you’re really serious about this. If you’re not, we’re going to provide someone else with this.’ “

I was wondering how they were going to shut out the supporters of Clinton, Edwards, Richardson, Biden; and here it is in print, in one of the most audacious moves so far. Now you will have to bow down, touch your forehead to his hem and kiss his ring. Do you think, His Eminence, the Pope is getting a little anxious now?

Is this the change that everyone has been waiting for? Is anyone going to be able to have a thought or action that is not controlled by the Collective? I have really, really avoided the “H” word when talking about the Borg Prince because I did not want to make that comparison, but here it is in black and white, bold as one of Gumby’s lies and the DNC is allowing this to go on unabated, unless they actually have lost control and The Borg Prince has now become a power junkie; considering he and his staff already use terminology like he is the President.

PUMAs, Americans, hold your heads up high. We are too big, too diverse, and too patriotic a country to allow the Collective to reach our White House and, dare I say it, use it as a springboard for the rest of the world. No single American should have to go through an “application process” to be allowed into a civic event hosted by the party they are a member of. No single American should be “encouraged” to recruit others as an entrance to a civic event. The door to the Twilight Zone has opened right here in America and as long as we allow this to continue, we are all just frogs in warm water.

If this isn’t a huge RED ARROW pointing straight to joining PARTY UNITY MY ASS and the JUST SAY NO DEAL Coalition, I don’t know what is. Now is the time to do something audacious and nominate the Democrat that connects with and represents the American People; Senator Clinton.

Superdelegates, pledged delegates, Americans; are you listening?

It is time to put the welfare of this great country ahead of whatever agenda the DNC has with getting Barack Obama elected.

The real reason Ob moved to the 75,000 seat stadium was to drown out the 1,640 Hillary Delegates.
If it were held as planned, almost 1/2 of those on the floor would want Hillary to be the nominee.
Now, it will be 2 percent of those in attenance at the stadium that want Hillary to be the nominee.

The voters across America that voted for Hillary, almost 18 Million of us, become meaningless to the Convention. It is a coronation, not a convention.

And Ob thinks this brings the party together to make sure we have a Democrat in the White House in November? No, if there is not “fair play”, and Hillary’s name is not placed in nomination, then I can guarantee you many of Hillary’s delegates will not work very hard for OB between the convention and November.

My husband watched Chris Mathews this morning and at the end of the show he asked his panel to tell him something he didn’t know. There was a British woman there (he didn’t know her name) who said Hillary’s name would be put in nomination and would be voted on, but they were scheduling the vote early in the morning to limit press coverage. Friday, the Wi. Dem Party stripped Donna Bartoshevick of her delegate status and I have read, the Obama Camp. is trying to substitute his delegates in several states. Bill Clinton has said he probably won’t be speaking at the convention, but I haven’t heard about Hillary. I hope they don’t expect her to speak at Invesco Field. I’m afraid they will embarrassed her in some way.

I hope Hillary’s delegates will go prepared to slow down the process any way they can. Procedural issues or points of order could get another hour or two. Ha anyone heard if the Mi. and Fl. delegations are going to issue a challenge to the Credentials Committee? I also heard the Secret Service is not happy with Invesco field because they already had the arrangements made for Pepsi Arena and they have had to request more money due to the European Vacation. Residents of Colorado Springs are complaining about the number of police officers the city of Denver is borrowing for Security reasons. Hopefully, PUMA will be able to draw a large number of protestors, but from what I have heard, they need to prepare to be arrested.

We need to declare, loud and clear, not only will we vote for McCain against Obama, we are willing to vote STRAIGHT REPUBLICAN ticket due to his arrogance and the way the DNC has behaved in this primary cycle. Not only do we need to let them know we have no intention of voting for Obama, we are willing and determined to go even further, we are willing to vote STRAIGHT REPUBLICAN in order to send a message to the DNC that our vote is our own and they will NOT manipulate, subverse, bully, terrorize and intimidate us into annointing THEIR “chosen one” against our will.
When Superdelegates learn that thier OWN office is now in danger, not just Obama’s, they’ll listen much closer and they will do whatever is needed to save their own backsides when they are afraid they’ll be thrown to the curb WITH their golden boy.

The idea that the educational system is a vast propaganda machine ready to be exploited is part of the required curriculum in the College of Education I attended, and a large part of that college was devoted to “policy studies.” i.e. what should be indoctrinated and how to go about it. So education as brainwashing is an idea that’s been mainstream for a long long time. Obviously, this is an area where core convictions and morals are key to the country’s future. And William Ayers is devoted to upheaval, now through education.

Having read this article I am left dumbfounded. How did things get this bad? What is Obama’s hidden agenda and why is no-one asking this question? The likely outcome of the scenario described in the article has been seen so many times in other parts of the world, but so far not in the USA. Getting to Camp Obama is a self-selection process. My guess is that there will be another selection process for the ‘true believer’. THESE are the people who will really be trained to work for Obama.

It could be that the 75,000 will come from the second selection process — and the coronation speech will be used to whip up the enthusiasm of the brownshirts . . ah . . . Obama youth, campaign workers.

Which means that the guess that the Obama thugs will be bussed in to this orgy/coronation in a football stadium is right on the mark.

Did you read what happened in S.F. the other day. One of the persons given sanctuary there got mad in traffic, pulled out an ak47 and killed all three people in another car because he said they were blocking the intersection. When our elders told us different, we told them, the ones who won WWII, that they were fools. What could they possibly know? I feel that the selfishness and faux wisdom I participated in throughout that time has now returned with bill in hand.

Remember back in May when media gushed and fawned over a huge crowd in Portland, Oregon — supposedly gathered to hear the words of Democrat presidential candidate Barack Obama — but chose not to report the free concert given before his speech?

Well, it has been learned that before the presumptive Democrat nominee spoke to a crowd in Berlin Thursday, two popular German acts — reggae artist Patrice and rock band Reamonn — entertained the gathering audience.

Will media report this tonight, or just gush and fawn over the huge crowd again?

While you ponder, here’s what was reported by Spiegel Online moments ago (h/t Hot Air and Gateway):

++ Pop Concert for Obama Fans ++
6:33 p.m.: The tens of thousands of Obama fans are being entertained as they await the senator. The reggae musician Patrice kicked things off, followed by the rock band Reamonn.

I’m sure this will be part of ALL media reports concerning this speech…not!

Obama has not even won yet.. According to his own count there are five to ten states to weigh in. At east 57 in all must be counted –delegates and uber-delegates..

Hillary still has hope in those states. She can certainly use the audacity of hope. She will need it.

Denver is too small for Obama’s mile-high ego.

He should back to Germany and stage his acceptance at the Nurnberg Parade Grounds. There would be room for at least 250,000 followers. There – there is still room for a lot maneuvering and formations. The delegates could bear torches.

The ceremony could conclude with the entire delegation from each the 57 states, or at least the standard bearers from each, marching by the reviewing platform.

The annointed one would come down to a lower reviewing stand. Each delegation would dip its 57 star (or whatever) banner to the original 57 star flag of the annointed one. The annointed one would touch his 57 star flag to the 57 star flag of each delegation — thus hallowing and consecrating those flags. (Note – each so blessed flag could be used to consecrate all the other 57 star flags used at lower levels.) The assistants would give out the great seals of the appointed one lapel pins and 57 star flag lapel pins.

Each delegation would then march out of the parade ground and back to their own camp area. The lights would be low, they would be bearing torches and singing Obama Uber Alles.. and Ein Fest Burg ist Uns’re Obama .. Their Motto …

Interestingly enough, my Dem Congressional candidate (Bobby Bright–AL 2nd district) has already said that he will work with whoever is elected President. He’s also begun his campaign by highlighting his CONSERVATIVE credentials (he’s just SLIGHTLY to the left of the GOP candidate which still makes him far to the right of Hillary*) which is nearly mandatory in Alabama. I voted for another Dem candidate in the Congressional primary race (Cheryl Sabel, a woman who is openly pro-union and was, until she ran for office, the President of Alabama’s NOW chapter; she even had the audacity to run AS pro-union ).
About the only way that a President Obama can expect support from a majority-Democrat AL House delegation is to hope (pun intended) for an all-African-American Democratic delegation. At this point, the State has only one AA US House member and I believe all of the other Democrats running are white (and IMS, all are right-of-center).
Barry should remember that the last Democratic President saw almost no support from his fellow Democrats from Alabama (one in fact, the pig Richard Shelby, even switched parties).

*I would have said Obama, but I’ve forgotten how Barry’s schedule works. Does he vote the neocon agenda on even-numbered days and the progressive agenda on odd, or the other way around?

Well, Britny’s not eligible, according to the RULES. Of course, unlike the DNC’s “rules” (which can, apparently, change on a whim), the rules here can’t be changed without amending the Constitution. Any VP candidate MUST meet the eligibility requirements of the Presidency (most notably, being at least 35 years of age on Inauguration Day; on the plus side, Britney CAN run for President, or VP, in 2016–she’ll turn 35 in December of 2016).
Also, I don’t think Barry would give Britney consideration. After all, given a choice of covering Barry or Britney, who do you think the media would go for–lameoid Obama or “trainwreck” Britney? Barry won’t risk having someone else take away “his” spotlight.

Are you entirely sure Hillary Clinton as VP would only be in a second fiddle position?

She’s powerful and has tremendous influence. I don’t think she’d be like any VP we’ve ever had before.

She’d be continuously in the national spotlight and in the the best possible position for another presidential bid.

I suppose the argument against that is that if the Obama administration crashes and burns, she might be politically damaged. On the other hand, if Obama crashes and burns after being elected, any democratic presidential nominee immediately after would face an extremely difficult uphill battle anyway.

Just throwing that out. I realize a lot of people won’t be much inclined to think about it, but before you pelt me with rotten tomatos keep in mind I’ve had a long history as a Clinton supporter.
