Elitist Dean and “The Low Class”

This is an excerpt from the newspaper, Charlotte Observer, when Howard visited Charlotte , NC on 25th of July as part of his tour program:  Shouts of protest continued intermittently.  When Dean mentioned what he called “the biggest job for President Obama,” they hollered, “He’s  not the president!” 

Speaking to reporters later on his bus,he dismissed the protesters.

I’m not sure all of them are Clinton supporters,” he said. Some of them are having fun at the Democrats’ expense. I think shouting during somebody’s speech is low class.” 

  

We’re “low class” . I believe his words were so calculating because he knew no AA were with us that afternoon. Imagine if there were, it becomes racist and the AA community would rise  and there would be a pandemonium. But since we’re an “old” bunch of ladies, “low class” was appropriate for us. Hey, Coward Dean, remember what else we hollered, “I will not fall in line, I own my vote.”

Through the auspices of our leader,  and a bunch of “old” but wiser ladies from http://www.Charlottefrontandcenter,Asheville, and Greenville , we were able to have a dignified coup to express our freedom of speech and freedom to assembly. I thought I’ve got thick skin and would never be affected by this; you know that I cried….. I know this is so silly compared to the maltreatment thrown to Hillary, so my message is now to Howard Dean, I hold grudges and I will get even in the general election…Jyoti

                I can’t understand how “Howard the Scream” Dean ever got to be head of the DNC anyway. He was a turn off dope when he ran for Pres. and yet he got to be in charge after he basically blew himself up during his campaign. The poor Dem. party just keeps shooting themselves in the foot as they try to find “the Cadidiate”. Too bad for them that she was standing right in front of them. Idiots.               As for Dean. He spent his own presidential race decrying against Democrats being “Republican-lite” and now 4 years later has tossed over the finish line, the most “Republican-lit” slash libertarian candidate that the Democratic Party could have possibly fielded! Bully on you!

          As you know I am not a very political person. I just wanted to pass along that Senator Obama came to Bagram Afghanistan for about an hour on his visit to ‘The War Zone’.
          I wanted to share with you what happened.
          He got off the plane and got into a bullet proof vehicle, got to the area to meet with the Major General (2 Star) who is the commander here at
          Bagram.
          As the Soldiers where lined up to shake his hand he blew them off and didn’t say a word as he went into the conference room to meet the General.
          As he finished, the vehicles took him to the ClamShell (pretty much a big top tent that military personnel can play basketball or work out in with weights) so he could take his publicity pictures playing basketball.
          He again shunned the opportunity to talk to Soldiers to thank them for their service.
          So really he was just here to make a showing for the American’s back home that he is their candidate for President. I think that if you are going to make an effort to come all the way over here you would thank those that are providing the freedom that they are providing for you.
          I swear we got more thanks from the NBA Basketball Players or the Dallas Cowboy Cheer leaders than from one of the Senators, who wants to be the President of the United States .
          I just don’t understand how anyone would
          want him to be our Commander-and-Chief. It was almost that he was scared to be around those that provide the freedom for him and our great country.
          If this is blunt and to the point I am sorry but I wanted you all to know what kind of caliber of person he really is. What you see in the news is all fake.

      Heckling is not supposed to be dignified, but it’s often the last bastion of the truth teller.

      If a heckler is howling stupidities or irrelevancies, then the audience has a right to be annoyed, and even oust the heckler.

      But Dean, speaking to Hillary supporters, referred to “President Obama”. Some speakers just deserve to be heckled.

    What you are going through, unfortunately, is taking place in the ‘public’ age of the internet. I feel for you and I empathize. And I’m beyond impressed with the resolve you folks are showing, with the fight you are fighting and with the way that you are able to take an active, actual role in grabbing your party back. Me, I had to wait..wait for the rest of my party to silently let the pool of potential candidates dwindle to the point where the obvious choice was the one man, for his entire political career, put his country first.

    I’m proud of my country, and watching folks like you battle to fight a horrendous and insidious totalitarian tide is amazing. I wish you luck…we don’t see eye to eye on many issues, but it’s obvious to me that we do see eye to eye that AMERICA COMES BEFORE PARTY.

    The fun lasted about 3 months – until Clark overtook dean in fundraising. The media promptly shelved the results from that month and thereafter, declared omerta on Clark, anointed Kerry and started to report Dean’s gaffes. So, elitism is a defining feature of Howard and his campaign was infused with it.
