RRRAmy–what took these people so long? I never understood what put the country in a trance.

But I’ve always said that this was the same MSM that made a big deal about Gore’s sighing in the debates instead of focusing on Bush Jr’s stupid answers; who brought us the Iraq war; who turned Kerry from a war hero into a woos; who echoed every orange terror alert to keep us scared; who called New Orleans a natural disaster; who turned the Clintons into racists…..

So I never expected much from the MSM but I will NEVER forgive the Democratic party for calling on Hillary to get out of the race each time she won a primary and for not allowing her a real roll call vote on the floor of the convention! For that May rulz committe meeting.

And Howard Dean is crying about the health bill now? Well, boo, frickin’ hoo. He was a BIG part of the reason we got BO as the candidate so I say, Howie, you’re a little late! (and how’s the view from under the bus?)

Quite right on everything. Especially the lack of principles comment. Remember the Michigan and Florida DNC rules committee meeting? What a fiasco that was. That meeting should go down in infamy.

We’ve been saying that “His only principle is his own aggrandizement” for two years actually. I’ve been personally saying during that same time that Obama wants the title, not the job.

He will go whichever way his closest people push him. In fact, we’ve been saying forever that he has no spine.

I’m in MA and I still have my Hillary sticker on my car – so I can gloat. I see far, far fewer Obama stickers these days, they used to be everywhere. I’m thinking of adding a new one “Don’t blame me, I voted McCain Palin.”

What was most difficult for me during the campaign was that it wasn’t just MSM but also PBS and NPR that was biased. I stopped listening to ATC early on, and lost faith in Lehrer’s News Hour. Judy woodruff, Margaret Warner and Jeffrey Brown were good reporters but I could not believe the obvious bias of Ray Suarez and Gwen Ifill. Her bias was apparent long before the flap over her book. She should have taken a LOA, and the fact that Lehrer or PBS didn’t deal with the issue, turned me off. She compromised the credibility of the group. Then I learned the husband of PBS CEO was an intimate of Obama.

I turned off the TV when the good old boys discussion with Lehrer, and others came on. Predictable, sexist, tiresome.
Then I realized I was turning it off more than listening.

Did they report climategate? I searched the archives a couple of weeks ago and I couldn’t find anything. It speaks volumes. Am now a recovering liberal.

What happened three days ago as case in point : Obama refuses to meet with the Japanese prime minister in Copenhagen and Gates humiliates the government on a recent state visit while Clinton expresses “understanding” of Japan’s recent decision to put off until next year reaching a conclusion on the relocation of a U.S. military base in Okinawa.

Of course the fact that a SoS “understood the circumstances” does not at all mean she is sympathetic accepts the decision. It simply implies she’s learned more than the rest of them the diplomatic art of delving impressively into the minutiae of a subject, saying something – and not saying something.

You don’t have to imagine the lack of puffing or pouting. She’s absolutely committed to engaging in new debate while honoring existing agreements in principle and a skilled diplomat rarely generates extreme reactions.

Nat Hentoff does not mince words. He says “I am beginning to think that this guy is a phony. Obama seems to have no firm principles that I can discern that he will adhere to. His only principle is his own aggrandizement.”

But is this not exactly what was said about Obama on this website since last year? The thought just crossed my mind, maybe so many don’t mind Obama’s lack of principles because they would not recognize adhering to principles if they saw it?

Yesterday on Air America’s Ron Reagan’s talk show former Obots were tearing Obama a new one about his behavior in Copenhagen.

Yes I never completely stopped listening to Air America. Ron Reagan’s show is the best during the week. I am looking forward to listening to Ring of Fire later today. Host Bobby Kennedy Jr. was a Hillary supporter. His side of the family did not follow Uncle Teddy’s lead.
