It's becoming increasingly clear that every US Senator has his or her price. In this case, it's reported Nelson's concerns over the abortion question has been addressed. Apparently, his constituents concerns were put on a back burner. They've got to get that vote locked up and get out of town. Before the posse arrives. For good or ill, the Democrats own this one. I used to love calling myself a liberal, and I was very proud of living in such a liberal/progressive area/state. What an awaking the past election was. I still can't listen to the likes of Rush Limbaugh, without feeling icky, but the same can be said of listening to Air America, or our local affiliate KXRA. I'm still trying to figure out where I fit in, but I feel that my eyes have been opened, and I can look at everything now with a more objective mind.
