NoQuarter has scored a coup. We have obtained special behind the scenes video (AND I DO MEAN “BEHIND”) of the lobbyists sealing the deal that makes the latest Senate Health Care bill a possibility.
Harry Reid and the Democrats made the clear choice–take it like a man. I hear those insurance lobbyists are some real rough riders.
(Sorry, but I could not resist.)

Larry–LOL. Not what I was expecting after “read more,” but it does make a point. (Actually Deliverance was a really good movie–except for that scene.)
By giving in to the program, Nelson and the rest of the compliant congressmen will have the comfort of knowing that Rahm and Thee One will be covering their backs . . .

LOL Larry!!!
Actually, judging from what I’ve read about the legislation, it’s Medicare recipients (cuts), those of us already insured (taxes on health insurance benefits), those who pay state taxes — except perhaps Nebraskans — (expanded Medicaid eligibility), consumers of pharmaceutical drugs (taxes), and federal taxpayers in general who will be taking it in the butt.
I don’t yet know enough about the mandate requiring the purchase of health insurance (and any penalties for non-compliance), but it sounds like people effected by it will also be anal receptors.
jangles
That is absolutely disgusting.

SOOOO, not sticking up for Blagavich ,but what is the definition of pay to play?? seems like thats what of our elected officials are getting paid to play!
jangles
Larry, I wish you would take that down; I just think that is a horrible, cruel and offensive clip and is unbecoming to the status of this blog which I have respected.

Actually, I find the analogy pretty apropos. Perhaps when jangles is on all fours paying his confiscatory taxes for the next few years (if the final bill passes), he will be more sympathtic to this post.
That’s not to say that we want further posts of X rated videos with a voice over of the grateful recipients of newly raised tax rates pleading, “Tax me, oh, please, tax me!” That would probably be going too far, even for Larry.

Speaking of which, I understand that Barbie “Call Me Senator, I’ve Earned It” Boxer (D-CA) can’t even sit in the same room with Sen. Nelson after the last go around. It seems that Nelson “out-concessioned” Barbie and got her favored pro-abortion provisions removed from the bill as well as a nice financial bribe for his state. Barbie ended up with some gift coupons for Kohls. Hey, Barbie, whadya think we sent you to the Senate for, anyway? The nation’s most populous state should be getting some major bribes outa this.

She and her husband actually moved to the East Bay last year….but unless I hear something truly terrible about Fiorina, I will be voting for Carly next year.
