Barack Is Totally Delusional (UPDATED)

* Bumped Up *

Talk about hopeless audacity. Barack Obama’s petulant performance today presented a persona to the American people that they are likely to see with increasing frequency over the next three years. And the more they see the less they will like. Barack was challenged about the turd of a health care bill just passed in the Senate and responded as follows:

. . . Obama vigorously defended the legislation, saying he is “not just grudgingly supporting the bill. I am very enthusiastic about what we have achieved.”

“Nowhere has there been a bigger gap between the perceptions of compromise and the realities of compromise than in the health-care bill,” Obama said. “Every single criteria for reform I put forward is in this bill.”

In listing those priorities, he cited the 30 million uninsured Americans projected to receive coverage, estimated savings of more than $1 trillion over the next two decades, a “patients’ bill of rights on steroids,” and tax breaks to help small businesses pay for employee coverage.

Those elements are in the House and Senate versions of the legislation; their competing proposals will have to be reconciled in conference committee next year. The House bill includes a government-run insurance plan favored by progressive Democrats; the Senate version does not. “I didn’t campaign on the public option,” Obama said in the interview.

So, you didn’t campaign on a public option?

Let’s start with this little tidbit:

Then there is one of those pesky campaign documents issued by Obama:

Through the Exchange, any American will have the opportunity to enroll in the new public plan or an approved private plan, and income-based sliding scale tax credits will be provided for people and families who need it. Insurers would have to issue every applicant a policy and charge fair and stable premiums that will not depend upon health status. The Exchange will require that all the plans offered are at least as generous as the new public plan and meet the same standards for quality and efficiency.

Then there are the questions he answered in writing for the Washington Post:

Do you have a plan to make health care more accessible to Americans? If so, how would you do it?

Every American has the right to affordable, comprehensive and portable health coverage. My plan will ensure that all Americans have health care coverage through their employers, private health plans, the federal government, or the states. My plan builds on and improves our current insurance system, which most Americans continue to rely upon, and creates a new public health plan for those currently without coverage. Under my plan, Americans will be able to choose to maintain their current coverage if they choose to. For those without health insurance I will establish a new public insurance program, and provide subsides to afford care for those who need them. My plan includes a mandate that all children have health care coverage and I will expand eligibility for the Medicaid and SCHIP programs to help ensure we cover all kids. My plan requires all employers to contribute towards health coverage for their employees or towards the cost of the public plan. Under my plan a typical family will save $2,500 each year. We will realize tremendous savings within the health care system from improving efficiency and quality and reducing wasted expenditures system-wide. Specifically, these savings will result from investments in health information technology, improvements in prevention and management of chronic conditions, increased insurance industry competition and reduced industry overhead, the provision of federal reinsurance for catastrophic coverage, and reduced spending on uncompensated care.

Barack Obama’s insistent denial that he campaigned touting a public auction is akin to Tiger Woods claiming he never fucked other women. It is beyond laughable, it is pathetic. Worst of all, at least for Barack Obama, he has now ensured that he will be a laughing stock. Comedy writers cannot resist this kind of red meat. You cannot continue to insist the Sun does not rise in the East when it is 8am on a clear day in July and the Sun is blazing. Most people will no longer be blinded by his bullshit. Good God! Who would have thought that Barack Obama would be acting like Don Rumsfeld. Just like Rummy, who claimed there were no insurgents in Iraq while violence spiraled out of control in Baghdad, Obama harbors the delusion that people cannot read his speeches and watch recordings of his campaign events where he pledged to provide a public option. Game’s over, baby. Game’s over.

UPDATE–Here’s a nifty, quicky video reinforcing Barack’s abandonment of a campaign pledge.

And here’s another:

Obama lied and people will die. That’s not hope or change I can believe in.

  • donjo

Does pathological liar work for you?

    • sowsear

The people who try to give him the benefit of the doubt, even now, are as delusional as their leader.

    • I’m a Linda too

      Yes, it does.

    • Jack

Pathological? I don’t know, but it certainly is Illinois politician. Blago, Jarett, Daley, that Repub. governor in jail, they all had a super-duper glibness. An ability to pledge something, then reverse. Not only a pledge, but a completely forthright promise, cross their hearts and hope to die, then to do a complete 180 later. And show no affectations of guilt or shame or physical twitches. Obama is not from Chicago originally, I believe Michelle, daughter of a Daley machine apparatchik, might have proved the model. One person who does not have it down cold is Rahm. He has a nervous laughter and other cues he is fudging–like normal pols do.

  • Texas Playwright

Like I said in Rev. Amy’s post–bho the fraud and his cabal–change you can deceive in.

  • beachnan

Is he trying to bamboozle us, or does he believe that whatever he says is truth? Obama is truly delusional.

    • jwrjr

He thinks that if he repeats his smoke and mirrors often enough then we will believe it/him.

      • FembotsForObama

Exactly, a play taken right from Goebbels book!

The worst part is the depths to which Progressives are trying to defend him. He’s bamboozled them, and they are STILL bending over backwards trying to support him.

I predict that the final unraveling will occur in Aug 2010, when the troops were promised to be brought home from Iraq. Wait until we hear the scrambling then.

PUMAs saw through the flim-flam man!

He’s far more obsessed with his critics than he is with his supporters. His problem will grow exponentially as his supporters rapidly turn into critics. He’ll explode! Barrack o-BOOM-ahhh.

    • Tuppence 411

I saw that today Onofre’s Arm. Fox aired a transcript of Oblahblah’s radio rebuttal. I could not believe my ears or my eyes….the PRESIDENT of the United States used a valuable radio address not to admonish foes of the US or set an agenda… but to settle a score with a freakin’ Hollywood actor that dissed him? WTF?? How demeaning of the office.

CALIGULA TEAK?!?! I think I like it! At least you won’t be ridiculed for making the increasingly more acceptable comparison between Obama and Hitler.

      • Docelder

Caligula, Napoleon, Hitler, Obama… doesn’t matter what the name on the man is. All these men have some of the same characteristics in common with one another. All great empires have used men like these to commit empire suicide. Nothing new here. We may come back, but it will be from ashes just like Rome and Germany.

    • Elizabeth

I never thought Obama was particularly big on a public option, but he did use mandates to campaign against Hillary ! I’m beyond caring, though, frankly, who said what. Make them pay next November.

    • Carlaforhillary

I thought the same thing when I read that part.

  • imustprotest

Thank you for posting that video of Obama…..it needs to go viral. He doesn’t think anyone will call him on it because the only ones to do it would be the progressives who believed all his lies…..and where they gonna go?

  • Seriously Sick of Obama

Let’s not forget that during the campaign it was reported to not listen to his speeches that is was all campaign talk..I will never forget that bc that was a moment the Man-Child was showing his true colors and hidden agenda, so why are we shocked at this latest news?? Man-Child has lied his way through life and now he is a professional at it!!

  • hattip

Of course he is, he is a Democrat.

  • Dax

Here’s whats laughable Larry: Where in the fuck is that Michelle Obama “whitey” tape?

    • hokma

What is laughable is what has been said about Obama:

      - That he is a brilliant intellect.
He is was an average college student who used race to transfer to an ivy league college and get into Harvard Law.

      - That he was a constitutional law professor.
He was a “lecturer” as are thousands of other professionals who do it part time to make extra money – they get a department syllabus and read.

      - That he was experienced enough to be President.
He was ineffective State Senator, a no-show U.S. Senator, a community organizer, and someone who never ran anything in his life. Or accroding to Andrew Stern, of the Liberal Party, he had the thinnest resume of any President in American history.

      - The the “stimulus” (massive pork barrel) bill was going to guarantee that unemployment would not go above 8%.
      Where are we now?.

      - That he going to effect change that Americans could believe in.
Apparently they don’t because he has the lowest poll numbers of any President and they continue to nose dive.

Obama is a psychopathic liar because, as a lifelong socialist, he could never admit to Americans what his real agenda is.

    • Docelder

Who even cares at this point? Suppose we found a tape wherein Michelle said she loves white people? So what, where’s the jobs? We don’t need a whitey tape of this man’s wife to see that he hates America. He has spent a full year professing as much to the rest of the world. The tape is irrelevant at this point even if it ever existed.

    • FembotsForObama

Here’s what is laughable is the amount of lies you Obamacrats have been told:

FISA — Obama voted FOR it right before he was elected when he had campaigned against it.
TARP — bankers and Obama’s backers get financial bail-out before and in place of average Americans getting help. Obama balks at provinding assistance for home-owners and giving judges more leeway to help homeowners during bankruptcy proceedings.
ERA amendment re-introduced; Obama ignored it.
Lily Ledbetter Act signed without companion legislation to give it real teeth. ANY Dem with their salt would have passed that portion; it was second part that mattered!
Black Farmers — Obama promises to include them in financial assistance, but instead burns them by putting cap on assistance.
Conscience Clause — Obamacare actually strengthens it.
Reimportation of drugs from Canada — Obama worked fervently to ban it.

Just a few highlight. Anyone else care to add to this list?

    • beachnan

Hey Dax, is that all you’ve got? Obama really let you down didn’t he? Laughs on you and all the other lemmings.

    • Dems better as losers

Hey Dax — Where the F is Obama’s birth certificate???

  • Craig Della Penna

As some of us have been saying all along:

    A narcissistic sociopath.
Narcissism because everything is about him and his self image: he looks in the mirror and sees emptiness – because there is no ‘other’ there can be only.. him.
Sociopath because, if there is no ‘other’ then all the words are meaningless, that is they have no intrinsic meaning or value. Therefore they are interchangeable and mutable to service the need of the moment. So you can say whatever the audience of the moment wants to hear and say something completely contradictory the next day to a different audience: he fully believes whatever he’s saying at the moment he says it. That’s what gives the sociopath so much power, they are not acting, they truly believe the words they are saying at the moment they are spoken – the next moment, all bets are off.

Barack Obama is a narcissistic sociopath: it’s always all about him and he’s always lying.

    • trixta

Except when Barrackula looks in the mirror there’s no reflection! Perhaps his narcissism stems from an OCD search for that reflection. But, alas, there is no there there.

  • Dax

“- That he is a brilliant intellect.”

He’s heads above both McCain and Clinton combined, thats evident through simple observation.

“- That he was a constitutional law professor.”

..which means that you are still a mental midget compared to him.

“That he was experienced enough to be President.”

..and he’s still doing one hell of a job, how does that feel. Besides, Dick Cheney has a wealth of experience – and he was as worthless as your commentary was.

“The the “stimulus” (massive pork barrel) bill was going to guarantee that unemployment would not go above 8%.”

The Obama administration isn’t a group of clairvoyants, shocker. But it stopped a second great depression.

“Obama is a psychopathic liar because, as a lifelong socialist, he could never admit to Americans what his real agenda is.”

Your mother is a psychopathic liar. That said, the “socialist” slam is the clumsiest of all. Why do you hate roads? Bridges? Firemen pay? Yeah, you suck at this.

    • Glennmcgahee

He stopped a second depression? You might need to study your history. The stock market crash didn’t cause the depression all by itself. It was the steps the government originally took in response to that crash that eventually, like 2 years later, began the pain that affected almost every American. Lets watch as more and more people become homeless and unemployed. The treasury couldn’t be spent any faster than is happening now. Our borrowing power has just about collapsed. I’m sure we have a crisis on the horizon and too many of the people responsible (Congress) are heading for the doors. Do you think they may know something you do not?

It’s worthless and completely futile to speak common sense and give any history facts to an Obot like “Dax”. Like all Obots , he believes in “making history” with his “Messiah” and somehow HISTORY, as we know it, is of no use as a reference point. Because in the Obots’ world, history starts and is being made by Obama. What a load of shit…..

Like I said, when Obama creeps up on my TV screen, I get so constipated that I have to leave the room and take some laxative to relief myself. But as I learn every day, in addition to Obama & company making me sick, nothing makes me sicker than a delusional Obama supporter.

For those of us who saw all of this coming, it is sooo painful. If I were younger I might relish in gleefully saying “I told you so”. But as an older woman who is becoming more and more terrified of how these policies will affect this nation and older people who he now summarily threw under the bus with everyone else that got in his way, all I can feel is despair.

    • lark

Right. That is the price we pay because we loved to be lied to and lies to us are music to our ears.

Black Friday at Office Depot I saw over 75 people buy computers at 6:00 a.m. and after paying the cashier, she slapped a tape over the box that said that once the box is opened you could not get your money back anymore. And the 50 dollar rebate had such specific rules to go by that it almost reads that it is at their discretion.

My A/C repair man charged me 180.00 to fill my heat pump system and once I agreed he only charged it half-way.

I ordered an hp57 tri-color ink cartridge from an E-bay vendor who said it was new, never opened in a sealed package and when it arrived the cartridge was empty.

I purchased a pack of chicken meat and there was so much skin under the meat that more than half the pack was skin.

Obama is a pathological liar, the Senate is too, and we just love it. Despair doesn’t even come close. The worse is that in a few months the 2010 high school class will be graduating and I suggest you don’t ask them any questions. If you do you might find that the 10,000 per year that was spent on educating most of them was completely wasted.

    • Dems better as losers

daisy — I too am a Senior and its hard to come to terms with the fact that this administration wants to kill us off. But under the bus we are. What has helped this former Dem is listening to Rush. He gets to the core of an issue and after you listen you realize that these buffoons are terrified of us. We are going to defeat them because the only way they can win is to frighten us into believing that all is lost. We will be strong and happy again because its in our nature. The American Dream is only dead if we allow them to kill it.

  • FLFem

“Under my plan..” “My plan…” “Under my plan..” “My plan..” Ok, so where is this “plan”? Did he ever send a copy of it to Congress to use as a blueprint for the bill?? No, he didn’t. Why? Because it doesn’t exist and never did. Why no one asked him for a copy of it is a mystery to me since he touted it during the campaign. He said he had a plan, but he didn’t, and still doesn’t. His only “plan” was to get elected, and he had nothing prepared for any of the legislation he claimed to be “planning” to present to Congress. In dire times, when we need a strong leader and someone who actually gives a damn, we are stuck with a Paper President.

    • Khan Krum

My thoughts exactly when I saw the headline on “The Baltimore Shining Path” yesterday… This guy has lived his whole life this way: taking credit for things he’s never done.

  • WMCB

I’m really discouraged by what is happening to my country. The thieves are looting us and not even bothering to paper over their lies anymore. We have become an oligarchy, and both parties are owned.

I was musing late last night over what We The People could possibly do to make them listen, as they do not fear our outrage in any way whatsoever. They don’t care about votes, because they own both parties. Makes no difference to them who we vote for. They don’t care about donation money, as they have plenty from their corporate masters. So what, short of armed revolution, would make them sit up and take notice. One can’t reason with them, or appeal to their better natures, so what could we the people do to make them AFRAID?

The only thing I could think of to make them very very afraid is a bank run. Yep. Do what the banksters did last year, and threaten to crash the economy.

Pick a date, and publicize it, and every single American who is fed up and sick and tired of their bullshit go to your bank and WITHDRAW every dime. If even 30% of the population did this, it would be a massive shock wave. They’d have to close the banks for a day or two, of course. Everyone wouldn’t get their money.

But damn, that would scare them shitless if millions of Americans flexed their muscle like that. This is how discouraged I am – that I am thinking of things like this at 1am.

    • Touchet

This is exactly what is happening. I am afriad there really is no stopping it. It will take our nation falling apart again before the corruption is weeded out. Once there is no money left, there is no way for them to buy anyone.

This happened in ancient rome, and it will happen in america. The only difference is that in Rome, there was one party instead of two.

The only representive government that remotely works is one with many many “parties”. Its hard for anyone to accumulate enough wealth to buy them all out.

      • sowsear

Our nation falling apart is part of the Alinsky plan. Tear it down and remake it into whatever you want.

The only difference is that in Rome, there was one party instead of two.

We have two brands, but they are the same.

        • Dems better as losers

The two parties are not the same. The Republicans believe in free enterprise and the American Dream for all Americans. Individual Freedom is the mantra of the Republican Party.

This new Democratic Party believes that anyone who disagrees with their vision is a traitor–that they know better how to live our lives than we do. They want to redistribute the wealth of this country and bow down to our enemies.

    • trixta

Also, at a minimum I think we need to start organizing a boycott
of the upcoming State of the Union address in January. Everyone — right, left, center — who is concerned about Obamacare and the TARP Corporate giveaways should voice their disapproval of the Pres and Dem Party by turning off their TVs en masse on the day of His speech. Imagine a total public black out on that day — especially at the hour of his speech. (Those who need to see the speech can see it later on C-Span, over the internet, or hear it on the radio.) I think our narcissistic Leader might even have a nervous breakdown if he were shunned in this manner.

      • Dems better as losers

I think we should contact the TV networks and ask for equal time for the American people to speak truth to power.

      • http://noquarter foxyladi14

        I never watch him anyway..

    • Dems better as losers

WMCB — How can you blame the Republicans for not being able to stop the Democrats from passing a bill when they don’t have the votes? Its too easy to say the parties are two sides of the same coin–then you have no responsibility for the debacle we have found ourselves in. I will vote to throw these Dem Bums out first before I start wringing my hands about anything else.

  • Smart-Jazz-Just Me

Silly and again we cherry pick….spin is spin and they all do it. But this is what you get when you vote away from morality and vote for party hypocrisy.

As de La Rochefoucauld once said…

“Hypocrisie est un hommage que la vice rend à la vertu.” – “Hypocrisy is the tribute that vice pays to virtue”.

But I suppose partisanship is the name of the game….

    • Dems better as losers

But when spin becomes lies and when lies become laws and when laws destroy our constitution and our way of life. ITS TIME TO CALL IT WHAT IT IS.

    Sarah Palin says it right…

Midnight Votes, Backroom Deals, and a Death Panel
Last weekend while you were preparing for the holidays with your family, Harry Reid’s Senate was making shady backroom deals to ram through the Democrat health care take-over. The Senate ended debate on this bill without even reading it. That and midnight weekend votes seem to be standard operating procedures in D.C. No one is certain of what’s in the bill, but Senator Jim DeMint spotted one shocking revelation regarding the section in the bill describing the Independent Medicare Advisory Board (now called the Independent Payment Advisory Board), which is a panel of bureaucrats charged with cutting health care costs on the backs of patients – also known as rationing. Apparently Reid and friends have changed the rules of the Senate so that the section of the bill dealing with this board can’t be repealed or amended without a 2/3 supermajority vote. Senator DeMint said:

“This is a rule change. It’s a pretty big deal. We will be passing a new law and at the same time creating a senate rule that makes it out of order to amend or even repeal the law. I’m not even sure that it’s constitutional, but if it is, it most certainly is a senate rule. I don’t see why the majority party wouldn’t put this in every bill. If you like your law, you most certainly would want it to have force for future senates. I mean, we want to bind future congresses. This goes to the fundamental purpose of senate rules: to prevent a tyrannical majority from trampling the rights of the minority or of future congresses.”

In other words, Democrats are protecting this rationing “death panel” from future change with a procedural hurdle. You have to ask why they’re so concerned about protecting this particular provision. Could it be because bureaucratic rationing is one important way Democrats want to “bend the cost curve” and keep health care spending down?

The Congressional Budget Office seems to think that such rationing has something to do with cost. In a letter to Harry Reid last week, CBO Director Douglas Elmendorf noted (with a number of caveats) that the bill’s calculations call for a reduction in Medicare’s spending rate by about 2 percent in the next two decades, but then he writes the kicker:

“It is unclear whether such a reduction in the growth rate could be achieved, and if so, whether it would be accomplished through greater efficiencies in the delivery of health care or would reduce access to care or diminish the quality of care.”

Though Nancy Pelosi and friends have tried to call “death panels” the “lie of the year,” this type of rationing – what the CBO calls “reduc[ed] access to care” and “diminish[ed] quality of care” – is precisely what I meant when I used that metaphor.

This health care bill is one of the most far-reaching and expensive expansions of the role of government into our lives. We’re talking about putting one-seventh of our economy under the government’s thumb. We’re also talking about something as intimate to our personal well-being as medical care.

This bill is so unpopular that people on the right and the left hate it. So why go through with it? The Senate is planning to vote on this on Christmas Eve. Why the rush? Though we will begin paying for this bill immediately, we will see no benefits for years. (That’s the trick that allowed the CBO to state that the bill won’t grow the deficit for the next ten years.)

The administration’s promises of transparency and bipartisanship have been broken one by one. This entire process has been defined by midnight votes on weekends, closed-door meetings with industry lobbyists, and payoffs to politicians willing to sell their principles for sweetheart deals. Is it any wonder that Americans are so disillusioned with their leaders in Washington?

This is about politics, not health care. Americans don’t want this bill. Americans don’t like this bill. Washington has stopped listening to us. But we’re paying attention, and 2010 is coming.

      “Death panels”…

I wonder what term she uses when insurance companies routinely cut off coverage because seriously ill policy holders have reached the pay-out limit?

      • Docelder

Obamacare has a payout limit. Gotta save money to take care of the illegals new Americans. The ones here by choice and not just because they were born here. They are really the best Americans after all, having chosen to be Americans. Obama would have inside knowledge about that one.

        • ziggy

          Obamacare has a payout limit.

That comes as news to me. My understanding is that it very specifically forbids any yearly or lifetime caps, but allows for the denial of coverage when a particular treatment is unreasonable given the entire context of a patient’s medical situation.

          • ziggy

As things presently stand, with many policies coverage can summarily cease without any consideration other than a certain dollar limit having been reached, a qualifing job having been lost, etc.

          • sowsear

Reid put that “yearly” limit back into the bill, but sneakily left it under the old heading/article of the bill which said there would be no “lifetime” limits (I can’t remember now where I read that, but I will try to google it).

          • hokma

Reid’s Obamacare calls for a system to reduce Medicare and Medicaid spending.

How would you propose they do that? What do think the intent is? How do you propose that this commission that will be charged to do this will accomplish those reductions?

It may have been a little over-the-top but it is correct. Death Panels is written into the bill.

Unfortunately Obama and Democrats are hiding the spcifics of this bill until it is over and are counting on the fact that major media will join with them in hiding those facts. I know my local newspaper is clearly in Obama’s pocket.

      • nomobama

No health care system is going to treat each person exactly the same. Regardless of how people feel, those who have money will get the best care. Money talks. It always has, and it always will.

      • getfitnow

ziggy, there’s a way of dealing with that without destroying a health care system that, with all it’s failings, most citizens are happy with their insurance. We don’t need to throw out the baby with the bath water. But this isn’t about health care reform. It’s about the government injecting itself into every aspect of our lives.

        Tanning bed tax! WTF?

I recently received the following letter from Barack Obama. My response follows at the end.

    From: President Barack Obama
    Subject: Where we stand
    Date: Monday, December 21, 2009, 10:16 PM

Early this morning, the Senate made history and health reform cleared its most important hurdle yet — garnering the 60 votes needed to move toward a final vote in that chamber later this week.

This marks the first time in our nation’s history that comprehensive health reform has come to this point. And it appears that the American people will soon realize the genuine reform that offers security to those who have health insurance and affordable options to those who do not.

I’m grateful to Senator Harry Reid and every senator who’s been working around the clock to make this happen. And I’m grateful to you, and every member of this community, for all the work you have done to make this progress possible.

After a nearly century-long struggle, we are now on the cusp of making health insurance reform a reality in the United States of America.

As with any legislation, compromise is part of the process. But I’m pleased that recently added provisions have made this landmark bill even stronger. Between the time when the bill passes and the time when the insurance exchanges get up and running, insurance companies that try to jack up their rates do so at their own peril. Those who hike their prices may be barred from selling plans on the exchanges.

And while insurance companies will be prevented from denying coverage on the basis of pre-existing conditions once the exchanges are open, in the meantime there will be a high-risk pool where people with pre-existing conditions can purchase affordable coverage.

A recent amendment has made these protections even stronger. Insurance companies will now be prohibited from denying coverage to children immediately after this bill passes. There’s also explicit language in this bill that will protect a patient’s choice of doctor. And small businesses will get additional assistance as well.

These protections are in addition to the ones we’ve been talking about for some time. No longer will insurance companies be able to drop your coverage if you become sick and no longer will you have to pay unlimited amounts out of your own pocket for treatments that you need.

Under this bill families will save on their premiums; businesses that would see their costs rise if we don’t act will save money now and in the future. This bill will strengthen Medicare and extend the life of the program. Because it’s paid for and gets rid of waste and inefficiency in our health care system, this will be the largest deficit reduction plan in over a decade.

Finally, this reform will extend coverage to more than 30 million Americans who don’t have it.

These are not small changes. These are big changes. They’re fundamental reforms. They will save money. They will save lives.

And your passion, your work, your organizing helped make all of this possible. Now it’s time to finish the job.

    Thank you,

    President Barack Obama

    My response:

It seems to me that you are standing in a pile of bullsh!t. You are a liar, sir, and so are the Democratic Senators and Representatives who are supporting your health care proposals. I hope you all lose your next elections. It’s time for a clean slate in the Democratic party and the current Democrat losers in office need to go. Now that would be something historic, and I hope it happens. Please don’t send me any more emails.

Okay, before I lose you, here is my latest post:

U.S. Senator Ben Nelson (D-NE) to the Citizens of Nebraska: “You’re not the boss of me!”

United States Senator Ben Nelson (D-NE) receives his $174,000 annual salary through payroll checks drawn from the U.S. Treasury but he actually works for the Corporation. The DNC Services Corporation. So, while the U.S. Constitution authorizes his office in the Legislative branch of the federal government, Mr. Nelson takes his marching orders directly from the DNC. And even though the Declaration of Independence proclaims that governments “deriv[e] their just powers from the consent of the governed,” given the choice between following the lead of his constituents back home in Nebraska or the dictates of officials of the Corporation, again, Mr. Nelson defers to them.

Surely, if the enlightened thinkers who conceived and drafted of the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution had intended to transfer any portion of the power of the people into the domain of the major political parties in this way, they would have mentioned political parties somewhere, anywhere in these auspicious documents. But they didn’t. The recent conduct of Senator Nelson points to prima facie evidence why. …

IF The Feds Pass Health Care, The States Can Pass THIS ONE LAW and END the National Nightmare

The feds seem hell-bent on shoving Obamacare down the throats of Americans who by a three to one margin want no part of. It’s up to the States themselves to step forward and defend their citizens from this unprecedented attack on our liberties. A “Usurper Detection Act” would be the easiest way to do this.

Since it appears that the judicial branch is intent on abandoning it’s duty to uphold the Constitution, perhaps it’s time for the states themselves to individually pass legislation that will protect their citizens from the actions of anyone who illegally occupies the Oval office.

There is nothing to prevent a state from passing a law requiring that the President must file his PROOF of meeting eligibility requirements with the state and that such a filing is open to public challenge in court.

Such a law could stipulate that any legislation signed by a President who refuses or is unable to meet this requirement to file shall be declared null and void within the borders of the state. No orders affecting any of the states citizens from such a usurper would have legal standing within the borders of the state. In addition, the act could command all legislators at the national level to institute whatever legal mechanism is required to challenge the standing of such a usurper.

It seems to me, any state-passed law that ENFORCES the Constitution would be judged as “Constitutional”. Perhaps this can be done through a ballot initiative if the legislators refuse to look into it. We do not have to WAIT until the next Presidential election to handcuff a possible usurper. This can be done NOW and immediately protect a state’s citizens from having to live with ILLEGALLY made legislation or orders.

In my view An enterprising person is one who comes across a pile of scrap metal and sees the
making of a wonderful sculpture. An enterprising person is one who drives through an old
decrepit part of town and sees a new housing development. An enterprising person is one who
sees opportunity in all areas of life. To be enterprising is to keep your eyes open and your
mind active. It’s to be skilled enough, confident enough, creative enough and disciplined
enough to seize opportunities that present themselves… regardless of the economy.

Seems the more power Obama gets the more he wants:

“Other countries are going to start running circles around us,” Obama said in a White House interview with PBS. “We’re going to have to return to some sense that governance is more important than politics inside the Senate.”

Perhaps he should think of that next time he calls in Senators to brow beat them and bribe them to get what he wants.

  • Lindsay

When I watched Pelosi literally steal the nomination from Hillary I was sick inside.  When I heard about Obama’s 20 years in a church where the pastor hates America and the media said that he didn’t pay any attention.  When I watched what the media did to McCain who was their darling for so long and their vicious attacks against Sarah Palin I knew that Obama was bought and paid for with big money.  Now I watch as no amount of power is enough for him in his quest to be a dictator, I fear for this great country but I know deep in my heart that Americans will not accept a dictator and that the Republicans will sweep in 10.

  • FLFem

And this is more BS from Obummer. From his PBS interview..more delusion. My comments in bold.

” President Obama said he wouldn’t pat himself on the back for his first year in office, but said Wednesday he showed he can make tough decisions that were unpopular.(yeah, ramming a health care bill no one wants through Congress  to pay back your corporate bosses is a tough decision, but someone else made it for you. Your lobbyist bosses.)
In a year-end interview with PBS, Obama said he was “entirely dissatisfied” with the high unemployment rate still facing Americans as the economic recession ends.(But hasn’t done a damn thing about it except claim it’s not as bad as it is. Ends? It’s ending? Where?)
“I don’t pat myself on the back,” Obama said. But his administration deserved credit for making good decisions on major problems it inherited, including the recession, wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and other issues, he said. (No, you just give yourself a B+, which is probably the highest grade you ever got, from anyone. Still blaming Bush..that is getting so old!)
Without specifying any issue, Obama said he demonstrated that his administration was willing to face tough decisions.
“I think I’ve shown this year that I can make hard decisions, even when they’re not popular,” the president said.” (Taking three weeks to decide something that wasn’t that different from what was planned anyway isn’t a tough decision. It’s a cop-out. )

This guy Obama reminds me of the sort of kids the educational system seems bent on turning out. People with a wonderful self-esteem and not much of anything else. He is great at telling people how well he is doing without asking how they are doing, or caring how they are doing. Apparently, we are all supposed to be gratified by, and satisfied with, the fact that he thinks well of himself. Someone should tell him that his self-esteem level has nothing to do with actual governance. That takes hard work and an attention span of longer than 15 minutes. I hope we get enough sane people in Congress in 2010 to impeach this worthless wastrel.
