Hillary’s List For Santa

WEBHillarySanta_edited-1

In a lighter moment, the State Department announced that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton engaged in some secret diplomacy with an “important international figure” at the North Pole. During that visit Clinton asked that her hopes for the New Year be fulfilled.

The complete list of 12 is as follows:

Open and accountable governments,
Middle East negotiations,
More civilians in Afghanistan,
Empowerment of women,
Fewer nuclear weapons,
Respect for human rights,
Resolution of historic grievances,
Treaties through the United States Senate,
Six-party talks,
Dialogue with Iran,
Enough food for people of the world to eat, and
Climate change legislation.

How fun. Yet even in play, Hillary thinks about the welfare of others. Refreshing!

Merry Christmas Everyone from the No Quarter Writers

Wonder how differently things would be if Hillary had won instead of BO?  She ever so much more thoughtful and knowledgeable a person than he.

Hillary Clinton IS my president.  The fraud in the WH is just warming the seat.

Leave it to our Hillary to keep her eye on what is MOST important!

Excellent post, Pat – thank you.  And Merry Christmas!

Obama wishes for the Senate to strong arm a bad bill through with back room deals in time for him to go on another vacation, and Hillary wishes for open and accountable governments.

As I look at the Hillary for President sign still hanging in my house, I’m reminded yet again that the wrong person was elected President.

How can one claim a “Respect for human rights”, when they voted to fund the invasion of Iraq, and every bill funding the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan except when initially running for President.  Why no comments about ending the rendition program, or the use of predator drones to kill humans in Pakistan and Somalia, and no comments about Adminstration not signing the anit-landmine treaty, why no complaints about the PATRIOT ACT which continues to treaten the freedom of all of the cirtizens of the US?  Oh, I guess Hillary can’t complain about the PATRIOT ACT, the use of predator drones and not signing the anti-landmine treaty because Obama supports all those as well as increasing the US troops in Afghanistan.  She can’t complain, because she chose to serve as his SOS.  That list is hypocritical.  Welfare of others?  Over ONE MILLION Iraqi civilians have been  killed since the US invasion of that country.

Sadly, my holiday wishes, which would most likely have been on the way to becoming reality, had Hillary been given the fair opportunity to become our president, will have to remain unfulfilled.  Whenever I (rarely) see her on TV, I feel the same wistfulness.  There never seems to be enough time for her on air as the current white house resident monopolizes the airwaves and feeds his ego to the point of nausea and absurdity.  He would wither in comparison, so they keep her locked up.

It is indeed, “3 am in America” and we clearly see what he has done and what she would have done.  That ad was so prophetic!  The proof can clearly be seen in the comparison between her recent astronomical poll numbers and the shabby ones he has garnered for his lackluster performance in office.

Thanks Tricia, for allowing Hillary’s star to shine and reminding us of the unselfishness of a TRUE Leader.

Happy Holidays to all at noquarter…the only place that one can go to find reality, these days.  What a comfort!

Where was Santa when we all wished for Hillary?  I bet there are a number of people that wish that Santa did not grant their wish by letting Obama win.

Hillary as president would be my choice as a gift to the country and the world. someone strong and knows  the issues and is tough enough to implement them.   I still want HER TO ANSWER THE PHONE AT 3 a.m.

It looks to me like the “I told you so’s” about Obama vs. Hillary have come true.  Rush Limbaugh and Obama’s other political ememies are defining him instead of Obama defining himself, Hillary being much tougher than Obama would more than likely have been much more respected by Congress than Obama is right now and she probably would have been much more involved in the negotiation process where she may have already been able to pass a good health care bill, and Obama in my opinion is like a political time bomb just waiting to explode.

Obama has virtually no room for any errors on Afghanistan, Iraq, health care, jobs, the economy, if anything goes wrong holding the 9/11 trial in New York City (which I think is a huge mistake), with any other issues that may come up which we do not already know about, and he will lose massive amounts of grassroots support from his Democratic base in 2010 and/or 2012 if he cannot get a good health care bill passed or if he does not have our troops out of Afghanistan by the timetable that he set while the hard core Republican tea party activists are VERY hungry to take back power from Obama and Democrats on a grassroots level.

All of this in my opinion means that Obama will probably lose a lot of seats in Congress in 2010 and/or lose himself in 2012 basically on a default basis if his policies on any one or more of the major issues that I listed above either do not work or do not work fast enough to the satisfaction of most of middle America.

Rush Limbaugh, his talk radio media empire, and FOX News will exploit ANYTHING that goes wrong with any of Obama’s policies and Obama in my opinion has not shown that he can deal with this by his starting fights with Limbaugh and FOX News that he automatically lost by his not being able to finish them!

I hope that Obama succeeds for the good of the country but I definitely think the evidence is very clear that Hillary would be doing a MUCH better job if she had won instead of Obama.  I enjoy hearing Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann, Ed Schultz, and others in the media who were in the tank for Obama complaining about him right now when everything that they are saying now are the tough questions which they should have asked him two years ago BEFORE he was elected when it really counted instead of acting like cheerleaders for him.  Those in the media who were in the tank for Obama, who did everything that they could to try and destroy Hillary’s primary campaign, and who are complaining about Obama right now are getting just what they deserve in my opinion.  Hopefully this will teach them a good lesson to be objective and to ask every serious Presidential candidate the tough questions in future elections!

Thank you Mitch.  I always enjoy your excellent political analyses.  I followed you closely when you wrote about General Clark (another great leader I wish we heard more form) and others.

  • Linda Mac

Wonderful cartoon and so perfectly representative of Hillary.  She is still the best representative for our country to the world and she would have been/////no, maybe still will be the best President ever.
