Will there be anyone to raise this issue of bribery with BO or any of his goons?  I’d like to know how much I paid for those on vacay, per couple.  The cost of the family vacation to the taxpayers should be itemized as well.  Sure would have been a lot greener to go to Camp David, or even Chicago.  But Hawaii?  Guess he wanted to make sure that BC was still secure in the vault.

It warms my heart, Amy, knowing that I and the rest of the American public is paying for this vacation for journalists that no doubt will lead to an even more passionate “Apology Tour.”  Heard a bit of it last night on Greta’s show, the explanation of “why” the One was notified 3 hours after the Detroit incident [no reason to alert the Prez for a firecracker event].  No reason to pull him off the golf course either.  The “system worked,” so says the Homeland Security department; that is, if you consider luck and security synonymous.

Am I way past closing my eyes to the bibery and lying, Amy?  Without a doubt.  But then I was way past it on May 31 2008!

Well, at least we know the girls weren’t invited…Greta was on live last night and Candy Crowley is holding court this morning. Maybe the Frenchie is also a hottie and will make for good eye candy for the pervs!

Does this include news organizations (Time, Newsweek) don’t travel on Air Force anymore because they can’t afford it ? I’m frankly surprised Obama wants any press hanging around on his vacation. But it should be easy enough to confirm. I’m reserving judgement since this apparently hasn’t been reported, only picked up and reposted, anywhere else.  Is there even a blog by-lined by Laurence Haim to verify her “reporting?”

I saw a CNN guy reporting live from the beach.  Nigerians in airplanes knocked the love fest off the air.  Good.  I don’t have to look at his skinny bare chest.  And if they show the Mrs. in beachwear I will probably have to see a shrink.

Is there anyway we could have the names of those reporters and the organizations they represent so that we might inquire as to how they enjoyed the vacation at US taxpayers’ expense?

I just hope he doesn’t buy a ranch in Hawaii and fly airforce one there each time.  He is probably resigned to being a one-term president so he will live it up at taxpayers’ expense while he can.

I like to think that we are seeing Divine intervention in action, messing with the crafted pr campaign; the weather to make a fool of Al Gore and all those cap n’ trade would-be profiteers.

All we need now is for Charlie Sheen to get drunk and admit he has the hots for Tiger Woods just when the WH starts its final Health Careless PR campaign. 

I find it tragic that, while there are people  in New Hampshire whose only Christmas wish was for help heating their homes, this Hawaiian vacation is considered acceptable by anyone. Yesterday I drove down a road near my house and saw two men scrounging for firewood by picking up fallen tree branches. People are struggling simply to survive.

I am so ashamed that my country – a place I love – has put in the White House a creature who is so devoid of any sort of human understanding or empathy that he can blithely bask in the warmth of Hawaii while his citizens are suffering a serious lack of the basic necessities of life.

I will admit I was not a Bush fan (though I think I miss the guy) but Bush gave up golf and play when our troups were deployed.  So, I agree with you Portia.

BTW.  What you said about people needing heat makes me sad.  I would give up the trees in my own yard and my back steps to not hear that again.

I would also like to point out, besides using taxpayers dollars, our supposed journalists have been bought by the president.  So much for free and independent press and they can try to spin it any way they wish, but that is exactly what happened.

I criticized the P&E blog once, for posting materials stolen from my blog, with no accreditation.  I further pointed out to the blog owner, John Charlton, that this theft could derail months of work produced in conjunction with my readers.  I spelled out for him, in detail, both the distinction between the original work that appeared on my blog and, the counterfeit version that was delivered to his; and the potential harm that could be wrought by the illegal copy.

I looked myself in the mirror (well, no the computer screen) and asked if I was a dreamer.  But someday we will find Utopia.  The bots thought they found it.  I want Patsy Cline to sing to them:  “I’m Sorry.”

I’m sorry if I upset anyone with my earlier comments about people in NH trying to heat their homes. One thing I quickly learned after moving here is people in NH don’t like to sit and wait for the government to rescue them. If they can, they’ll take care of themselves. If there’s any left over, they’ll help their neighbors.

We didn’t have a “socks and underwear” Christmas, but it was definitely less than in previous years.  What blew me away was the next day out at the malls and shopping centers in the burbs outside of Pittsburgh, it was like Black Friday.  These weren’t just lookers, people had bags and bags.  Everyone must have received gift cards or they said the hell with it and were just going to blow it all before the tax man takes it next year.

Obama was interrupted from his golf game, to be rushed home to check the child & according to the NEWS ALERT, it was a minor injury.

I don’t know why anyone is amazed at this blatant use and purchase of the press. As a former journalist I am disgusted at the msm and anyone who would have agreed to such an obvious bribe for their good will, but then if they received the invitation they have no choice to accept or be fired from their job. Yet no one even stops to think about the families of these journalists. What about those who have families? Since the invitation was for one guest only, I guess just leave the kids with grandma and grandpa and forget a traditional Christmas. But then isn’t that just like the Obama’s — no respect for tradition in this country or our christian roots. And the selfishness of BO to take these people away from their families in for his own self-grandizment. He will be a one-term president. It was never the intention to get him re-elected only to get him long enough to destroy the dollar, the Constitution and relinquish our soverignty. And he went along for the ride so he could be King for 4 years and then have the taxpayers keep him and his family the rest of their lives. Not too bad for only four years of vacationing and reading a teleprompter.

If he is impeached, and convicted in the Senate, then he will get no perks. No pension, no Secret Service, no library funds, nothing at all. And best of all, he will not be able to hold public office in the US ever again. No public office at all, not even dogcatcher.
