Long time no post. Lookin’ and soundin’ good Larry.
I was telling a friend prior to Christmas about the US bombing raids in Yemen and that I felt that something was up.
Wa la! Now we have a Nigerian bomber who just so happened to have passed through Yemen. All staged if you ask me.
Just like the lack of cooperation after the Cole bombing. Remember how the Reagan appointed ambassador refused to allow the FBI access to the suspects?
Happy New Year dude. I hope you help us survive it.

I too am reeling from the changes in my outlook on all things political. The Democratic party primaries had such a profound effect on me that I will never be the same again. If only the Obamabots knew how much their nastiness altered my perspective forever more. They thought that if they were cruel enough, they could sway me from supporting Hillary and instead backing Barack. Their plans backfired. Instead, they created a group of people like you and me who are completely repulsed by them and their behavior, and have turned us into, well, the kind of people who find it possible to support a Sarah Palin. (I’m still having trouble finding it within me to support Palin, and would prefer a candidate like the exceptional House member, Paul Ryan, but for some reason I don’t understand, only Senate members get considered by the MSM for the presidency.)

What’s on my mind…? I’ve come to the conclusion that liberal and conservative brains are physiologically wired differently. My older son, who is intelligent and educated, cannot look at all the combined negatives of the Won and his administration and see that the policies are changing our country for the worse.

I don’t know what I would have called myself prior to this last election season. I’ve spent most of my working years and volunteer years in areas to help the less fortunate to give them a hand up — primarily adult literacy. I believe in a safety net for our citizens who need one. The War on Poverty has changed into something I never expected.

I’m not an expert on the Constitution, but I always expected it would protect us. I never realized before just how unimportant We the People had become; it’s been a gradual awakening. Whereas in the past I’ve almost always voted for a Democrat for POTUS and whoever I thought was the best qualified for Congress regardless of political affiliation, I have in a year’s time become a complete Palin Conservative and know I’ll never vote for a Democrat again.

At the end of this post, my husband and I are out of the door on my way to the County Clerk’s office to change our registrations from Democrat to Republican. I would register as an Independent, except in Kentucky Independents aren’t allowed to vote in the primaries.

I pray for 2010 to be the year we throw out Democrats, then in 2012 we throw out the sorry Republicans.
