Specifically it's the Santa Barbara Channel, the oil spill of 1969 and the Field Poll. The Field Poll (not a girly-man national poll but a California poll) spots Obama 24 points on McCain. Icebergs will crowd the fiery seas of Hell before McCain ever carries California. He can afford to piss off the state. Obama is obviously pissing away five or six percent of that lead to me-too an issue he is being hammered with as gas drifts upward toward five bucks a gallon. It’s California, stupid. Let's have AMERICANS working this industry, building rigs are harvesting American energy. The New gas fields just found are HUGE, lets start running fleets on that and putting up more windmills, even in Teddy Kennedy's sailing area. That will provide many jobs for good Americans. The Canadians are having environmental problems with their tar sands extraction process. I think there is something fundamentally wrong with an oil company making billions and billions of dollars - record profits - at a time when Americans are really suffering because of gas prices. I like Hillary's energy plan. Gosh I like Hillary and wish we could have her as our nominee.
