He has no clue what his positions are, how to fix anything or what he would actually do, other than “be President”. He has personally said he is running for President because being a Senator is “too hard” and this when he doesn’t even hold committee meetings, imagine how hard it would be if he did his job.

Other than that, his arrogance is starting to overwhelm even the folks that bought into the original bullcrap. Add all this up, and he is too busy telling everyone how great a President he would be, or pretending to be President already, to meet with any of the little people.

GERGEN: We’re going to need an extraordinary — really extraordinary leadership over the next four years. The problems facing the next president, in my judgment, are the toughest that have faced any president since Franklin Roosevelt was inaugurated in March of 1933.

The problems then were more obvious, these are below the surface but they’re very complex, they’re very global; so many of them were very global in nature. And we’re going to need a very special leader to succeed here.

We need someone who is, yes, has integrity and, yes, has judgment, those are obvious, but we’re going to need someone with courage — political courage to face this, and very importantly Anderson, I think far more than what we’ve had in the recent years, we’re going to need a consensus builder, someone who is able to work with parties across the aisle in Washington but also be able to work with other nations and bring them along and build bridges and build coalitions because these issues are going to require a lot of political courage in other nations as well, not just the United States.

And I also would argue we’re going to need a citizenry that is generous and is willing to make some sacrifices and face up to the harsh realities. We’re going through a tough time.
