Obama, McCain and the Race Card

I was just watching a clip of Obama claiming that the McCain campaign is using race because it is the sole tool the GOP candidate’s staff has to use against him.

Actually, it’s the reverse. Obama is exploiting the race card because it is all he has in his arsenal. He has no experience, no accomplishments, no special knowledge, no particular gifts aside from reading a teleprompter well. Especially compared to McCain and Clinton.

So he has to fall back on trying to “guilt-trip” people into voting for him.

It is indeed a sign of desperation that he is falling back on using guilt to try to get people to back him.

The problem with that, of course, is that sensible people will not only not fall for it, but they will be insulted.

Now, of course, there are a good number of non-sensible people who will fall for it. They desire to expiate their sense of guilt for being white.

But, thankfully, most people see through such a weak ploy, and realize that it’s all Obama has to counter McCain’s far greater experience, knowledge of foreign policy and the military, the ways of Washington, D.C., how Congress operates, and much more.

This is the ploy of a child. The ploy of a child who has run out of rational arguments for why he should be given a special privilege. The child, feeling desperate, pulls out the “guilt” card, selecting some slight or problem in the past relationship between the parent and the child. But the mature parent sees through this, and won’t allow himself or herself to be manipulated by guilt. It is an important lesson for the child to learn. It is a lesson that apparently Mr. Obama has never learned.

    Spot on.

The Super Delegates still have three weeks to wake up or face a devastating loss in the Fall.

    • Phoebe

He’s NOT black and HE’S the only one bringing up the race card. he’s a dangerous muslim.

      • RepublicanChick

Maybe he’s an alien stalking this planet. If so, the Mothership needs to come take his butt home!

    • CheatedFLVoter

You’re right on, Susan. He is the most childish politician to ever be foisted on the American people(he has knocked GW into second place). I just wish he would get mad and take his toys & go home.

      • BernieO

This is a man who admitted playing the race card against the Clintons to Tim Russert. Bill Clinton has always had the courage to stand up for civil rights despite the fact that it was not politically advantageous to do so in the Arkansas of the 80′s. In fact one of the men behind the Whitewater slander was the racist Ark Supreme Court just “Justice Jim” Johnson, a man whom Clinton has confronted personally for his outrageous racism. (Johnson was the guy who orchestrated the protests when Little Rock High was being integrated.) Clinton told Johnson that he made Clinton ashamed to be from Arkansas. Johnson was head of the CCC, the upscale version of the KKK, at the time.

I cannot name one principle that Barack has had to courage to stand up for regardless of the political cost to him? Yet, in our Alice-in-Wonderland culture our leaders and media much prefer Obama to the vile Clintons. It deeply frightens me to see that not only the Republicans but also the Demcrats have abandoned the “reality-based” world.

    The Race is tied

New Zogby National Survey: “The McCain camp seems to have turned lemons into lemonade

    http://www.thecharlottepost.com/index.php?src=news&refno=1033&category=News

Presumptive presidential candidates John McCain and Barack Obama are in a statistical dead heat among likely voters, according to the latest Zogby International poll.

The national Associated TV/Zogby International telephone poll of 1,011 voters surveyed July 31-Aug. 1 finds McCain (R-Arizona) leading 42 percent to 41 percent over Obama (D-Ill.), which represents a sudden turnaround from the Reuters/Zogby poll of July 7-9 that showed Obama ahead, 46 to 36 percent in a four-way race with Libertarian Bob Barr of Georgia and liberal independent Ralph Nader. McCain made big gains among some of Obama’s strongest demographic groups – young adults, women and independents.

The survey, commissioned by Associated TV, included 1,011 likely voters and was conducted July 31-Aug. 1, The margin of error is 3.1 percentage points.

The poll follows what had been described as a blockbuster tour of the Middle East and Europe that was intended to boost Obama’s foreign policy profile. McCain used the trip as a launch pad to question whether Obama’s popularity abroad would translate into leadership at home.“

The McCain camp seems to have turned lemons into lemonade. Huge crowds and mostly favorable press reviews of Obama’s overseas trip have been trumped by McCain’s attacks on Obama,” said pollster John Zogby. “Loss of support for Obama among young voters may also be due to his perceived reversals on issues they care about, such as the war and government eavesdropping.”

    • Dan R.

And that doesn’t even take into account the Bradley/Wilder Effect, which I think could be as much as 4-5% of the population. If the election were held today, I honestly think McCain would win fairly comfortably.

      • Clinton Fan

Yes. The problem with GUILT Tripping people, is that they will privately, secretly, RESENT it.

        And they will LIE.

They’ll lie to their friends, they’ll lie to their family, they’ll lie to pollsters, they’ll LIE, LIE, LIE! And they’ll even be ARDENT liars, behaving publically in an entirely different fashion than their vote indicates.

When they reach the voting booth, they express their passive agressive opinion by voting in the opposite fashion….and then, after they’ve pulled the lever, they come out and LIE, LIE, LIE again.

Telling someone that they are a racist (when they know they aren’t) IF they don’t take a specific action is a cowardly, chickenshit tactic, used when one has nothing of substance to bring to the table. All it does is piss people off.

    • fif

      Yea baby!

    • tzada

Zogby’s brother is a Super Delegate for Obama and an Arab. I don’t trust anything that Zogby polls says, in either direction. He should have full disclosure with his polls, stating the close relationship with the candidate. Thanks for the article tho.

    • Mitty

I hope some people are now digesting that poll.

    • RepublicanChick

Where are all the Obots that were in here last week proclaiming no changes in the polls and that their leader was winning?

  • Leisa

Great job Susan! I agree 110%

I am so tired of Obama saying things like “they are talking about me, trying to make you afraid, but no you are smarter than them” Then to add more, he brings up that they do this only because of his race or his “funny” name. What pure and total manipulation and BS!

I am just waiting for this little spoiled boy to throw himself on the ground in a fit of rage when things really do not go well for him.

    • BernieO

      Amen to that!
I just finished writing an blistering email to CNN complaining about Campbell Brown. She actually had the nerve to begin her show with the statement “No bias, no bull” then proceed to make a snarky comment about Bill Clinton not staying quiet because he made some remarks about being tarred as a racist by the Obama campaign. I let her know that both Clintons had every right to speak out about the slander that the Obama campaign was so willing to use against them and pointed out that Clinton has worked his whole adult life to fight racism and its poisonous effects.
Those of us who are old enough to remember what things were like when Clinton was coming up know how much courage it took for Bill – and Hillary – to stand up to racist thugs. I challenged Brown to find one example of Obama showing that kind of courage.
The more I think about Obama playing the race card against the Clintons the angrier I become. This is one offense I will not forget. It is beyond despicable and reflects a complete lack of principle.

      • Alex

So now that Barky is in trouble with his stupid mistake of playing the race card himself, the cowardly and hateful media such as CNN is helping to deflect this bonehead move by dragging Bill Clinton in the news again?? The Clintons can’t win! If Barky plays the race card, it’s the Clinton’s fault?? If Barky makes any mistake ever, it’s always because of the Clintons!! Actually, the MSM must hate the Democratic party. The best Democrat President we have had in a long time and they make sure to drag him through the dirt over and over again. Whereas in contrast, the Republicans still sing the praises of Ronald Reagan long after he passes.

        • onmomnaturesside

          Amen.

      • NoBamaNoWay

you are correct; the bogus racism charge is a personal insult on the order of calling someone a child molester, and it is reason enough not to vote for obama.

      • 935 Lies

Have you NOT noticed how far up Der Shrub’s ass her nose has been for the last 7-1/2 years? If it weren’t so tacky, I’d accuse her of having something going on on the side with The Chimp.

Married to Dan Senor? No bias?

        Hahahahahahahahahahaha! You make ze joke!

      • Wisewoman

The proof that he did play the race card is as follows: Obama had won IA lost NH, lost NA, and was desperate to win SC, otherwise his candidacy would have been in jeopardy because he risked being out of the race if he could not win SC with such a large black, democratic majority. At that point Hillary lead in the SC poll and had 65% black support. Obama had to pry those votes from her hands and he had a limited amount of time to do it. As a result he put into action his revolting racial strategy to rile up the black people. Can anyone actually believe the Clintons would under those favorable circumstances come to SC and conspire to make black people angry with race baiting talk and then expect them to go out and vote for Hillary Clinton? No. This was a fraud perpetuated on black people. I personally marched with Dr. King, Rev. Abernathy, Stokey Carmichael, Whitney Young, Jessie Jackson and others while attending Jackson State University in Jackson, MS. I despise and loathe Obama for damaging hard fought race relations for crass political gain. In that regard he is synonymous with George Wallace. I AM PERSONALLY OUTRAGED AND OFFENDED AND I WILL NEVER VOTE FOR HIM, EVER and I am a 63 yr old black female.

Short, sweet and to the point. This is exactly how I see it…The One’s supporters as unfit parents. They have let the “child” run circles around them to the point of being drunk.

My next step would be to boycott all those who support Obambi: Ben & Jerry, CNN, Jennifer Garner, Maureen Dowd, etc. I will not buy any of their products for a long time to come.

    • untilthelastdogdies

I’m right there with you! CNN’s Obama Cheerleading Brigade has just finished a hatchet-job on Bill Clinton for speaking out this morning on GMA.

They all acted SHOCKED that he brought up the racist allegations. Roland-round head just said our concerns were “secondary”. More “get over it” mantra.
      Blah Blah Blah.

If this isn’t further proof that the Clinton-Wing of the Democratic Party continues to be insulted and purged, I don’t know what is.

Well, as Mimi always says, go ahead then,

      WIN WITHOUT ME!

      • lusitania

You know, you are right. I am sick of this crap from the newsmedia. I am no longer going to watch CNN either. I don’t watch the others anyway. Bill Clinton is 100% within his right to say what he has recently said. They are just trying to start some controversy because that is what sells and brings in viewers. Why aren’t they talking about the wonderful things his foundation is doing instead of trying to stir things up with their bias.

    • Yo

I will boycott the items you mentioned but I have also been boycotting all the cable channels except FOX. Don’t buy GE appliances either.

Obama Supporters (in case you’re bored and have nothing else to be annoyed by at the moment):

Robert DeNiro, Scarlett Johansson, Kerry Washington, Enrique Marciano (Without A Trace), Ed Norton, Alfre Woodard, Usher, Chris Rock, Ludacris, Snoop Dogg, Kate Walsh, Kal Penn, Brendan Routh, Dennis Hopper, Tracee Ellis Ross, Paula Weinstein, The Black Eyed Peas, Kelly Hu, John Legend, Herbie Hancock, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Nick Cannon, Tate Donovan, Oprah, Leonardo DiCaprio, Morgan Freeman, Eddie Murphy, Tobey Maguire, Charles Barkley, Matt Damon, Halle Berry, Stephen Colbert…

I believe Robert DeNiro did support Hillary at first, but I can’t recall at the moment.

      • Alex

Thanks for this list. Easy enough to add to my list to boycott. Can’t trust or respect people who have such terrible judgement as to support an egotistical fraud.

        • RepublicanChick

He’s once again for Obama as he’ll be attending another fundraiser right before the convention as will Magic Johnson.

    • Patti

You know boycotting really works. I have seen it work out quite well over the years.

      • roseeriter

The irony is the greedy Corporations like the oil companies and the deceptive drug companies have over priced necessities and the consumers have less money to spend on retail crap and many retail companies are starting to fold along with housing, automobiles etc., and the corporations are starting to eat each other for that last nickel. The banks are folding etc., and maybe thats why the politicians are looking for the ‘The Global Market’ for more money.

We’re basically just collateral damage and the Obama supporters are desperate to be saved thinking that the now corrupted Democratic party will save them.

Why people think someone else, like a charasmatic leader, is the answer blows my mind. Hillary is a stable human being with sound smart solutions and has the intelligence and connections to stabilize much of the mess. Those of us here know that she’s capable of righting many of these wrongs.

      • Zee

        FUCK YOU

  • wodiej

well said. And I would add that isn’t just white guilt driving some of Obama’s support. Alot of it is feelings of entitlement. And Hollywood would vote a Democrat if it was Donald Duck. They make alot of money but that doesn’t buy common sense. I couldn’t believe it when I heard Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner were supporting Obama. But then I found out today Jennifer Aniston?? I’m sure John Mayer is as well. I don’t put much stock in any celebrities anyway. I think most of them are a bunch of pampered, spoiled, egotistical and self absorbed people w little grasp of reality. They think just about anything goes because they are often not made to be accountable. They get away w shit the normal person doesn’t.

The people who support Obama are 2 two types, the cultist and those who will support anything that is new and trendy, the typical hollywood type and their wanabees. • Dan R.

I hope he keeps bringing race into the discussion. The reason is that the more that he reminds people that, hey, it’s a white man running against a black man this time, the more that plays to McCain’s advantage. There are a lot more white people in America than black people and if it comes down to race-based politics, Obama will lose.

This is precisely why someone like Colin Powell would be such a strong candidate. You’d never see him bringing up the question of race. Unlike Barack & Michelle Obama, he’s never made it a centerpiece of his identity or cultivated a political based dependent on his perceived “blackness”. He just went out, worked hard, didn’t gripe, and excelled. I would love to have the chance to vote for Gen. Powell some day.

    • Obama is a bum

My understanding is Powell will be endorsing Obama so your only chance to vote for Powell would be as Obama’s VP.

I am personally so sick and tired of the racist label simply because I do not, will not support this candidate. But then, I watch Bill Clinton who comes out with a statement: I am not a racist, and realize the term has lost all meaning.

Anyone who can brand the Clintons with that term can brand anyone and everyone with the same accusation. It has lost any and all meaning and the responsibility for that sits squarely in the Obama camp.

I agree, Susan, the accusation is the fallback, a default position. I do not accept it, anymore than our former President of the United States accepts it. And I might add: what exactly has Barack Obama done for the black community? Does the substandard housing in Chicago count? The housing that was in his district and that he was mysteriously unaware of. What legislation has he introduced to promote civil rights, for anyone? Does his support of Odinga in Kenya count? What, when, where, how has he supported his own community beyond what would advance his own career? Trinity Church? He threw them under the bus when the connection was damaging. Rev. Wright? Gone. What selfless, nonpolitical action has he done in his 47 years for sheer humanitarian purposes? What crucible has he endured that commends him as a leader for anyone? What sacrifice has he made for others?

I come up with zilch. And I’m outraged that a man who has served no one but himself is so quick with condoning the idea of “racism” or “cynicism” or whatever the word of the day is.

    The gall is staggering!

    • sjc-tx

      Aye… staggering!

Obama is not taking Town Hall questions and he has no comment. The man was afraid to debate Hillary after April 20 debate and his “I welcome that debate anytime with Senator McCain” is just political rhetoric.
      Obama is avoiding accountability.
      He is unaccountable, no wonder.

      • leslie

In a townhall meeting in Chicago in 2005 or 2006, I watched him stonewall or blow off question upon question by saying “I can’t answer that”, or, “I’m only a freshman senator.I have no power and no one will listen to me.” The only questions he responded to with any apparent knowledge, were related to college student loan programs.
I entered that townhall meeting with a pre-conceived notion of what Junior was like. I left realizing he was as phony as a three dollar bill.

It will be our down fall as a nation if we become too Hollywood/celebrity obsessed. This was the point in McCain’s ad recently of Barky. We need an experienced, fit, moral person to lead. We DO NOT need a celebrity as our president. Those are a dime a dozen and they are all fleeting in terms of their glitzy fame. I want a president who can have a positive legacy because he/she loves this great country that he/she wants to serve. I don’t want one with a huge ego whose only ambition is to go down in history books as the first half black president.

    • http://chriss chris

Don’t ya just love these bleeding hearts from Hollywood who are so happy to take millions of dollars from the public, live their cushy lifestyles and yet they just have to tell us how bad this country is. We need to improve ourselves in the world’s eyes etc, etc. I could give a rat’s a** what their political opinions are. It’s beyond ridiculous that they think because they are “supposedly famous” they can tell everyone what we should be doing. Maybe they should go live in a communist country where they would be forced to share their wealth and see how much they like it. Hugo Chavez would love to have them live with him. Who cares what candidate they are endorsing?

He basically said that the dumbed down populace, couch potato has a short attention span and live their lives through others. Hence the popularity of reality TV etc.,- So many people want to be rich and famous and will do anything for their 15 minutes of fame and the dollar. The American Idol mentality.

I was just watching a video of David Gergen, and he stated that “everyone in the South understands all the racist “code” by comparing BO with Moses.” I’m from the North and have no idea what he’s talking about. Someone from the South please explain what he’s trying to say. The charges of racism in the last 2 ads seem totally ridiculous to me. I never thought of Moses, Paris, or Britney as symbols of racism.

    • simanov

Gergen is an idiot. These people are grasping at straws. With most of the media in his pocket Obama is about to crash. Keep the information flowing and enjoy the show.

    • NoObamislamists

I’m not from the south but Gergen probably thinks that because Moses lead the jews out of Egypt to the promised land somehow Obama will lead blacks out of their slavery? Or perhaps because Moses was leader of the Jews somehow Obama is leader of the Blacks?

And be real. If people in the south are racists and hate people based on their skin color, why do they have to have any “code” at all. One look at him is all the “code” they need-no need to even compare him to Obama, why even risk on overt secret “code”.

The Gergens of the media are really having to exert a lot of mental BS to prop their hero up. They have completely stopped being rational since he seized power in the primary.

  • AnnieO

Bill Clinton already exposed the use of the race card by BO as a coordinated campaign strategy.

I’m glad JM jumped all over BO for it when BO started using it on JM, but the media keeps pushing that JM used it first.

  • ssmith

    hi guys:

sorry my computer is having issues, was this latest race-baiting rant today?

  • cathnealon

In order to escape from the Wright mess back in April he had to begin to use the race card, remember the “race speech.” That was the beginning of the end for BO. He’s been going downhill with that rhetoric in the polls ever since. There was no way out of that but using the race card because there was absolutely no rational, plausible explanation why he would stay in a radical church listening to that garbage for 20 years without believeing it himself. He had to deflect his own leftist beliefs by playing the race card. In fact all this focus on race serves one purpose, to deflect form his radical past, his radical connections, his crimial connections, his birth certificate and where he’s getting the millions to finance this campaign. But of course, the firworks won’t start until after August then everything on this websie and others will be all over the mainstream media.

was this in reference to the dollar bill thing, I thought the fraud already said his camp did play the race card..

or did he pull out another race card today?

    • Freedom Fighter

No Bill Clinton pulled the race card again today.

Hey, remember those Terrorist cards Ole W and his henchmen put out when we were in the hunt for AlQueda.
      Anybody got a deck ?
We need a racist deck of cards.
So, when you detect racism, you flip out the appropriate card. Somebody calls your dad a
low info coal miner… you can flip a card.
Maybe we can have a whole suit called bitter/clingers.
Maybe a card for your Typical White Person
It can be the next rage. The Obama Race Cards.
Perhaps, a means for more race conversation.

I have a great idea that would really get the MSM’s ear and ink. A blockbuster bombshell.

    August 16th, 2008
    1:30 p.m
    Washington DC
    Lincoln’ Steps

President Bill Clinton, Senator Hillary R. Clinton (D-NY), Ms. Chelsea Clinton and Mrs. Rodham meet to fill out their change-in-status voter registration applications. They have ‘convertd’ to Republican.

Okay a little over the top…but what is it going to take to get press? wtf? for real. what?

Since the racism charge didn’t fly, the lastest is the roaring question: what about the phallus symbols that were used…it was a rant! It was a new and improved Leo Turrell. Seriously…phallus symbols!! They have no limits. omigoddess.

  • doublestandard

Nothing infuriates me more than charges of racism when none exists. It is such an indication of laziness and desperation, like you don’t want to do the work to prove yourself, so you fall back on this victim mentality, and charge racism. Moreover, it dilutes and negates the true racist acts, to the point where it is almost like “crying wolf” now.

Obama disgusts me more than I can say. why he continues to have loyal followers just astounds the hell out of me.

  • Yo

Continually bringing up the race card is a really bad strategy that will backfire big time. People get tired of everything being called “racist”, like the John McCain/Britney/Paris video. AAs in huge numbers said it was a racist video. What the hell is racist in that video? Nothing and if anything it makes me even more mad and determined not to let Barky win this election. It’s one of those things where someone accuses you of something and you finally think “well I’m going to go ahead and do it because they think I’m doing it anyway, so I’m screwed either way.”

    • Freedom Fighter

You white people don’t understand what it’s like being a minority in America. Racism is everywhere, just because you don’t experience racism with your white priviledge doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. Every African American knows the dangers of being alive while black. As Michelle Obama puts it so eloquently, as a black man, Barack could get shot going to the gas station. A black man can get lynched for looking at a blonde white woman, and the latest McCain ad reeks of a subliminal call for Barack’s lynching.

      • RepublicanChick

You white people? Such a unifying perspective from an Obama supporter.

Funny because as a minority—we’re more likely to die at the hands of another minority than by someone white.

You need to drop out of the 60s and get a clue.

        • Freedom Fighter

You are a Republican, I don’t expect you to understand the plight of minorities. I bet to you, Rodney King, James Byrd, Duke Lacross rapists, Jena 6, and Tawana Brawley atrocities were all committed by African Americans.

          • Donna Brazile

So, what’s your point? I’m not sure I get it!

Can you explain it a little more clearly?

Take up as much space as you can until I truly understand what you’re trying to say.

              • Donna Brazile

I can read but you don’t write very well. I’m still baffled by your point.

One more time. I want to come to your way of thinking!

              • Obama is a bum

Are you getting scared because the old reliable race card is not picking up traction against McCain?

          • Peggy Sue

Twaana Brawlwy and the Duke Lacross rapists?? Please get you facts right before you throw up stupid examples.

          • gmanedit

The Tawana Brawley atrocity was created by Tawana Brawley.

          • Obama is a bum

You are so dumb you defy description. Brawley was a hoax by Sharpton and Sharpton had to pay fines. Duke Lacross was falsely accused by a lunatic and Nifong got debarred. King was a criminal avoiding police persuit, refused to comply with police direction, and taunted police. Jena 6 attacked a white person and beat him.

Now why don’t you get off your high horse and discuss the high black crime rate, drop out rate, and high out of wedlock births?

Victimology (BLT) is what you subscribe to as does the race baiters you admire such as Sharpton, Jackson, Farrakhan, Phleger, and now Obama.

          • basil

            - the Duke Lacrosse Players were cleared

            - Tawana Brawley was proven to have lied

      • Obama is a bum

Playing the race card again. Whites don’t know what it is like to have special privileges like affirmative action, quotas, DBE programs, etc. Blacks also don’t know what it is like to have to walk on egg shells everyday afraid to say anything that may offend a black and lose their job.

A white person can be killed just going into a black neighborhood. If Obama were killed at a gas station it would be because we had lines 2 hours long and he was responsible for it.

You have the audacity to whine about being black in US then be black in Africa and you can really have something to whine about. For example, 2,200,000% inflation in Zimbabwe and people are starving to death. Most black countries in Africa or Carribean the people are starving to death, internal wars, killings, lawlessness, and a very low quality of life.

So go cry in somebody someplace else, racist!

As AnnieO said, it is a coordinated campaign strategy–whenever he is tanking in the polls (as in “now”), or before when he lost a primary state election, his surrogates/Axelrove, would bring out the race card. Yawn! It’s tiresome and boring!

Bill Clinton should be ashamed of himself. When he was in trouble for riding dirty with Monica, the African American community rallied to his side. The Clintons had no more loyal supporters than in the African American community at a time when his own party was distancing itself from him. Where would Clinton be today without African Americans? It is indeed sad that the Clintons chose to repay the African American community by playing the race card on the first African American with a serious chance to become the first African American president. Shame on you Clintons!

I’m black, you are a willful liar. Obama’s campaign played the race card on Bill & Hillary. You can repeat the lie from now until doomsday, its still a lie. You also have it wrong as to who owes whom. Let me explain it one more time. Racial progress had been made. Bill Clinton took it upon himself to show America, by his action of appointing a huge number of AA in his cabinet that AA were smart enough and gifted enough to run agencies, departments, etc. For that we should be forever grateful because never again can the country have doubts that AA are not competent.

Implementing a program against malaria, before which he managed to get the pharmacutical companies to supply reduced-priced drugs and distribute mosquito netting in rural villages, specifically targeting children at risk.

And you know what? There weren’t any “votes” involved in the effort.

    • jwrjr

The republicans don’t have to make us afraid of Obama. Obama is doing a splendid job of that without the repub’s help. Has BHO never heard the saying: “when you’re in a hole, stop digging”? Every time he opens his mouth the hole gets deeper.

first of all, to freedom fighter, how dare you call bill Clinton racist, he has done more for minorities than any President in recent history, to the point where Toni Morrison was calling him the first “black President”. Where Grandmother Maya Angelou honors, respects, and endorses both of them. Tell me, what has Obama done for minorities? NOTHING. He talks a good talk, but in terms of accomplishments, he has done NOTHING. Why don’t you google Curtis Cooper and just take a little read of what your Obama and his minions have done for the black community. And you dare defend this savage man Obama?

And to postmaster, like you, I owe nothing to anybody. We are all born free, we are all able bodied, we all have potential in this great country of ours. My family had nothing to do with slavery. Unfortunately for you, for me, and all the other good Americans, if Obama enters the white house, there will reparations to pay. Oh, he says “no” now, but trust me, given all his flips, he is just saying tha tnow to get the votes, and that will change in the white house. I find it Ironic that it is Obama who is playing the race card against McCain but it was Obama who sat in a racist church for 20 years.

So he has gone back to what has worked and hopefully people have gotten their fill of this crap and it will blow up in his racist face.

  • sayitisntso

  • Pita

I ws watching CNN Sunday and saw one of the pundits suggest that McCain set Obama up so that he could call out Obama for using the race card.
Here is the arguement he used:
The first time that Obama claimed that people would try to scare voters about him (Obama) bacuse of inexperience, or the fact that he didn’t look like the Presidents on the dollar bills, because he was different, because he was.. black. That Obama would feel free to use the statement again thereby establishing a pattern on which he could be attacked for playing the race card.
Ok, but had that pundit been sleeping for the last year? That card has been played everytime someone starts up with a valid criticism of this candidate. He dodges disclosure by falling back on something that doesn’t matter and is not an issue.

I agree but I also believe it’s more now, speaking with my friends who support Obama they believe it is Obama who is fighting against the traditional White Power the Oppressor who have kept them from progressing; it is their battle cry to say they Can overcome by expanding the electorate and voting within their demographic groups. Good Stuff the Democrats problem was rigging the race for Obama and force the integration of the electorate by expanding the power of the new non white collective majority demographics, the same liberal arrogance of believing they know better and the rubes will fall in line. It was the wrong thing to do the Country is in a raw conflictive state this stunt is steeling groups against each other now and it will play out civilly as times become tougher. To bad they didn’t let a non white candidate win on their own merit, that is what would have been soaring and brought people together, but no you have the corrupt erratic Dean and mama papa Cause Pelosi, Kennedy.
