UPDATE: A friend in the press has checked this out and it appears to be a hoax to the extent that the US Marine Corps has not issued such an order. These kinds of T-shirts do exist and reflect the macabre sense of humor that troops in combat develop. It seems my military buddy had bum information. I apologize for circulating this.

(Note: This was posted originally on the CounterTerror blog, but the blog master did not think it "appropriate". I am no longer with the CT Blog and will pursue an independent course with folks who have years of experience and a willingness to offer no quarter when it comes to truth telling). Boy, this ought to whip our troops into shape. I received the following from some military buddies. It seems that Marine commanders have issued the order printed below. Far be it for 18 and 19 year old kids to say inappropriate things and exercise a juvenile sense of humor while contemplating a new combat patrol. The fact that the troops are using and wearing the following expressions provides some true insight into the war on the ground in Iraq and Afghanistan. (And, if anyone is offended, blame me not Andy.)
