Larry Johnson on John Batchelor’s Show (Update: Now at 10:30 p.m. ET)

(Promo bumped down for February 14th show. Listen to the podcast. Podcasts are available the morning after John Batchelor’s show.)

batchelor-sTONIGHT AT 10:05 PM ET: Tune in to John Batchelor’s syndicated radio show when Larry Johnson joins the experts’ panel every Sunday. The show is carried on many radio stations and via iTunes. (Open iTunes, then click on Radio || Talk/Spoken Word (used to be called News/Talk Radio) || WABC-AM.)

FYI, John’s show starts at 9:05 p.m. ET / 6:05 p.m. PT. Here’s tonight’s schedule for Larry:

Sunday 1005P: (705P Pacific Time): Larry Johnson, No Quarter, John Avlon, Daily Beast. re DC buried under snow (Fargo, DC), re Sarah Palin charms the GOP.

Sunday 1020P: (720P Pacific Time): Continued re John Brennan taunts Congress.

OF NOTE, in case you haven’t checked our Batchelor promos in a while: John’s show used to be carried by KFI-AM; he has moved to several new stations. Follow these three easy steps once you’ve opened iTunes:

  1. Select Radio;

  2. Scroll to and select Talk/Spoken Word (that’s a newly worded category — used to be News/Talk Radio); and

  3. Scroll to and select WABC-AM.

NOTE: You can also try connecting via these talk radio stations: WMAL, WLS, KSFO, WBAP. I have tried WABC-AM, which is the “parent” station for John’s syndicated show, and it worked perfectly for me, so I encourage its use.

Larry or John – care to comment on the story of Public High Schools’ passing out “Organizing for Obama” literature? And please note the bibliography.

Doc, you need to get in touch with the school board there and complain. Also the state school board. I am sure the states have rules that forbid that sort of thing in schools. I remember when I was in school, we weren’t allowed to do political stuff on school grounds. That was in VA, in the 60′s. The only “political” thing the school district got involved in was the first Earth Day. And if we had a note from our parents the school would take us on busses to the demonstration in DC, five miles away. I was a senior and went on a school bus. But this is a definitely partisan group and if you really want to make a stink, call the local Republican party and tell them about it. Then stand back and watch the fireworks.

    FLDemFem,
So you were probably in Arlington or Alexandria–we may have been neighbors-serendipitously.

  • FLDemFem

Nope, in McLean, right across Key Bridge from DC.

I was in McLean, across Key Bridge from DC. And I emailed last night to the Stark County Republican Party about the OFA stuff, and this morning followed up with a phone call. Talked to a very nice young man and he is going to make sure that the proper people are made aware of this situation. As I pointed out to him, it’s not the schools job to “fill the childrens’ head with crap, that’s their parents’ job”. He laughed and agreed. I think this OFA thing will have a short life in the schools, at least I hope so. We should make sure that it’s not in other schools as well. If you, or your friends, have children in high school, be sure to ask them to keep an eye out for OFA in their schools and let the parents know the minute it shows up.

    FLDemFem,
OK, but why weren’t you using Chain Bridge ;)  and thanks for the heads up on OFA.  Have a warm day, it’s a cold one in Norther Virginia.

  • FLDemFem

Ack, you are right, it was Chain Bridge…LOL been a while since I have been up there.
