obama: you’d better check under the hood!

Is President Obama insinuating that Scott Brown is a klansman?
“You better look under the hood?”*
It sure sounds like coded language for calling Scott Brown a member of the klan…
For him to go after Brown using “under the hood” and stating , “I don’t know him” as he did last night, it’s an insult. And I tell you, as an American, constantly accused of racism for not supporting Obama, I find his words and his tone to be very depressing.
“A cross-section of voters are alarmed at the tenor of some of these statements. It’s very unfortunate that the president would make a statement like that.”
“Regrettably, they have resorted to distasteful and condescending language that appeals to our fears rather than our hopes. I sincerely hope that they’ll turn away from such reactionary, disparaging rhetoric.”
Perhaps this is why they are getting deperate, and using such coded, hostile language:
“Martha Coakley and Barack Obama held a rally today in Boston. They couldn’t fill the hall. . . . It holds 3,000 and frankly only 2,000 to 2,500 showed up.” H/T Instapundit
Meanwhile, on the other side of town:
“It’s an absolute mob scene. The police have closed off the streets. It’s mind blowing. The hall is already full, and it holds 3,000 people. There may be another 1,000 people outside.” via the Corner.

You know they are in trouble when they blame Bush, predict a loss, and don’t even know their candidate’s name. Marcia, Marcia, MARCIA!
