I supported Hillary from the get-go and every time she’s in the news, I’m sorry that she’s not sitting in the White House. She should be POTUS. But, not having that, not just the country but the world is the better because she’s doing what she’s doing.

What you can know is that AMERICANS will stay with the dying and injured and give them comfort in the faceof violence. American Soldiers are known for this compassion. Remember the little girl in Iraq who was fatally injured by a car bomb. I know the young man that cradled this baby til she died.

CNN’s Dr Gupta kept his staff at a hospital to trat the sick when the Belgians and Canadians left at night due to violence. 1 doctor (American) CNN tv crew a Hatian nurse and thier hired body guards stayed there.

Our soldiers will do the same a extreme risk to them selves.

VERY FEW OTHER NATIONS can say this about their emergency crews we can say this about average citizens, soldiers and even TV crews.

We are a unique people. God Bless America!

Interesting. The US State Department said Wednesday it has lifted an effective Bush-era ban on Muslim scholars Adam Habib and Tariq Ramadan, saying neither is deemed a security threat to the United States. State Department spokesman Philip Crowley said SOS Clinton signed documents allowing the South Africa-based Habib and Britain-based Ramadan to apply for US visas like other prospective visitors. What could this possibly mean? Anyone?

I’m never surprised by anything Hillary does because I know she can do anything. But I’m soooo proud to’ve supported her in 2008 and will do so again if she ever needs me.

BTW, I don’t really buy into time travel, so I’m wondering how I can join in Dec. 31, 1969. (See note to the top right of this thread.)

Yes! Hillary Clinton is and should be an inspiration to young and old alike. She just keeps on doing what is right and necessary and gets little credit but she does it because her prorities are straight. Just imagine if she was president, healthcare, jobs, wall street, she would be heard because she KNOWS her issues and how to work hard at everything she does. If the media and her so-called democrat leaders would have given her a fair shot or at least equal she would be president. In spite of that she still got the popular vote. Oh and she didn’t need a vacation a month.

Amy, I was fortunate enough to see Hillary in Haiti on a morning replay on C-Span.
Jonathan Hunt was fabulous in directing aid to an orphanage that was in dire straits. His report on Fox somehow got back down the chain to Haiti, and later he did an update on Shepherd Smith’s segment.
I have read and seen both heartbreaking and courageous stories.
I’m with these people in spirit and wish them success!

Watching Hillary on the ground was inspiring, too. It’s a bummer we couldn’t have her as president, but in way it’s almost like she’s right where she needs to be, for the people of Haiti, anyway. Can you imagine if Obama was Sec of State? She’s in the perfect position to bring comfort and coordination to the rescue effort. With her experience and her wisdom, those people have half a chance of getting thru this disaster.
