To get the state of Illinois to look into BO’s status as a lawyer, you do not contact the ISBA — you need to contact the Chicago office of the Illinois Attorney Registration and Discipline Committee/Commission — that is the official state office that collects applications for admission to the bar, obtains annual updates on everything pertaining to lawyer functioning, gets all the data on file resworn every year, and handles complaints made by the public — including queries about whether lawyers lied on their applications about anything to begin with, and formal complaints about behavior that has the public appearance of conflicting with what is known about the rules re lawyer certification and conduct.

You can easily find the contact info for this office by googling Illinois ARDC, and ask to talk to an officer — but do not start with the person at the very top, who would likely be a political appointee.

But this is what galls me. The inability for some people to hear what I said: “that men deserve the lion’s share of the responsibility. If you know anything about the laws of the jungle, you know that the lion generally leaves a carcass. I’m not giving men a pass. I’m just not giving women a complete pass either.
