When your ship of state hits the iceberg and starts sinking, only a deluded fool will insist that a man-made boat can’t sink. That’s what the Dems are doing. Even if Brown does not win today, and I think that highly unlikely, this is a stark warning for the Democrats who insist on pursuing an unpopular policy. Americans are fed up with political bullies. The reached their limit with the Republicans and now, after only a year in office, have had their fill of Mr. Hope and Change.

    They won’t change.  They are arrogant and filled with self-entitlement.

    The polls are not closed yet Coakley’s peeps and Obama’s peeps have already gone through two rounds of leaks blaming the other side’s arrogance.  Problem is: they are both arrogant.  In combination, that is a toxic mix.

    Also, frankly, Coakley’s is an idiot.  She has poor social skills, like most vindictive prosecutors.

    Thanks for the video.  I LedMAO.  I can’t tell you how much I liked the last line about the Dems gluing their privates to their thighs.  I was so upset after 2006 when the Democratic Congress did NOTHING to push back against the Bush/Cheney cabal.  I can still picture NP sitting their acting so coy on her first meeting with Bush.  She appeared to me then to be a PTA mom meeting with the principal.  I couldn’t believe things in Congress didn’t go differently after 2006.  Dems were too afraid of something (no balls) and wanted to act only if they could find a way to act the way the Republicans acted without having to worry about anyone fighting back.  Scheming, lying, using dirty campaign tactics, pay-to-play rules, stealing elections.  They became just like, in many ways, the neo-cons we all despised. 

    I am sick of the Washington crowd.  Let’s just hope we have some upcoming politicians in both parties who understand that they are going to Washington to represent US, the people. 

    A win for Brown would be karma indeed.  I just hope that he doesn’t turn out to be as much a “brand” as Obama is.  I want a political leader who has a deep authentic core inside.

    There are probably some die hard liberals who will always believe in Obama. The younger folks are peeling away for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is they are leaving school and unable to find jobs. I believe Obama’s support among the AA community remains pretty solid.

    One trend, which I find reprehensible, is that some on-line commentators are only reporting Obama’s positive/negative ratings based on white voters. I wish I had saved the link to the site. The implication is that Obama’s negative ratings are a result of racism is absurd. But the idea of just using white voters (how do you even know they are white?) is crazy.

    That is racist on its face, irrespective of intent of the ratings. It becomes an argument which assumes its own conclusion and is both fallacious and unedifying. Polls are just manipulated data anyway–junk mathematics.

    Absolutely NOT!  First time since ’72 I did not vote Democrat in the GE.  Obama had no core ever.  I just don’t know enough about Brown to know if he’s as shallow as Obama.  His “people’s seat” rang true to me, however.  I hope he does have a set of principles that he lives by, other than the narcissistic, self-aggrandizing one O follows.
