However, this is a slightly different version than I watched yesterday. At the very end, it had Wayne and Garth from “Wayne’s World” yelling “We’re not worthy”. This version is edited. I’m sure someone in Hollywood probably raised a stink about him adding that clip.

This morning I read an article that claimed that McCain’s ad “The One” (The Ad where Moses parts the Red Sea) was a blatant attempt to tell religious conservatives that Obama is the Anti-Christ.

It’s sleazy because it fails to make a substantive argument against Obama’s candidacy, instead relying on images of young, female, white supporters expressing physical attraction to Obama to draw the implicit connection between Obama and miscegenation, and racial mixing more generally. I goes beyond the merely negative, playing on the worst instincts of the all too many racial bigots who still vote in this country.

Something else to think about: a Republican where I live (Austin, TX) admitted to me that many, many of his Republican friends registered Democratic so they could vote for Obama in the Primary. Why? Republicans knew then that Clinton could not be defeated – but Obama could. And it is working out exactly as they hoped and planned… Thanks to the DNC and sheep like yourself.
