I think we should all just quit pretending that this is a Democratic party convention. It’s an Obama rock concert and Senator Clinton is about as welcome there as a renowned rock star’s appearance would be at a mediocre rock star’s concert.

Every time I hear about Obama’s big production I can’t help thinking about that scene from the Wizard of Oz where Dorothy and her group tremble before the Wizard until Dorothy plucks up her courage and tears down that curtain to reveal a very small man rattling and banging on tin. I like to call the general public “the HeadlineReaders.” I have this discussion all the time at work when people start spouting off about issues they saw in the paper. Seems most don’t get beyod the headline and maybe the first few lines. It’s a perfect tool for the print media to manipulate the public with. They know this and it’s how they play the game of influence. They will always tell you that they are fair and prove it by showing you where in their articles they place the real stuff. Waaay down in the middle where they know most people don’t bother to read. It is truly frightening how effective this is in influencing public opinions. I did a poll at work. I asked about 10 people if BOBama voted against entering the Iraq war. All of them, ALL OF THEM, said yes. I then informed them he wasn’t even a Senator when that vote was taken. They were extremely surprised and said I was wrong. I told them to look it up. Many did and apologized later to me. I just hope that little lesson made them think more about how they make decisions and gather information to make those decisions. The great false one is the product of this type of manipulation and unless more of the truth is plastered in the headlines etc., we could be in for a long 4 years and a disaster for our country. Scary stuff.

As you have probably heard by now numerous times, the “no drama” edict is the one handed down from the top of the Obama campaign that permeates every facet of that organization. Hi Folks! I’m sorry, but it appalls me what this country has come to! The Democratic Party has made our country and what we stand for a “laughing stock” of the world. We attack one candidate for the shoes and clothes she wears and and make her accountable to all of us for the money she spends dressing herself! The other candidate quietly manages to sweep it under the carpet, that he wasn’t born in our country and therefore ISN’T EVEN ELIGIBLE TO RUN FOR OFFICE, and NO ONE WILL HOLD HIM ACCOUNTABLE! WHY?!? SHOES OR CITIZENSHIP….HMMMMM….Which should be the more important an issue to address in this election. Why am I ( a simple “Joe – the plumber”)held accountable if I want a job to provide my identification and qualifications, and the man running for President is held to a far less standard?!? I have been talking to alot of people about my concerns with Mr.Obama. I had one person I talked to explain to me about the nistory class they are attending.It just so happens they are covering Nazi Germany. Adolf Hitler was a very personable man, with lots of charm and smiles- He convinced people to think his way, by telling them exactly what they wanted to hear- until AFTER he was in power. He came out of no where and charmed his way to the top!- Anyone else think this sounds familar?- PRETTY SCAREY!!!!!

They don’t just HOPE for good media coverage- they PAY to make sure it says exactly what they want it to!Look at the WONDERFUL lady reporter who had the courage to ask Mr. Biden a REAL question and see what has happened to her and the station she works for. THERE YA GO!
