But large samples of text are available, and there is a disturbing level of congruence (across multiple types of linguistic variables - including punctuation, word use frequency, use of idioms, etc.). Far more than you'd expect by chance. More sophisticated approaches (e.g. use of Support Vector Machine or Bayes Net) could be used to make a more definitive determination. One quick thing I will point out - KG commented that she used a different alignment (of the two overlaid birth certificates) than 'Techdude'.
