After Obamanation

Glum.

Powerless, lackadaisical, aimless remarks by POTUS re the jobless report Friday 5. What is the “hot air” remark? POTUS tries defensive sarcasm at half-speed. And the claims that losing 22k jobs (January estimate) compares well to the losing of 800k jobs last January 2009 is both cynical and ignorant. The long term jobless stats (below) are discouraging and ominous. The confused media reporting of a jobless rate that appears to improve to 9.7% while the month shows a loss of jobs does not help the day’s summary.  The economy is glum.

POTUS has been told by Axelrod that there is a storm building in the Democratic majority.  The professional campaign ops are telling their candidates to hold on.  What is the pay-off?  Have Axelrod and POTUS decided to throw the Democratic majorities under the bus?  Have they decided that POTUS improves as a candidate if he is running for re-election against a Republican House and a comatose and Harry-Reidless Senate?  Does POTUS welcome the victim of the villainous GOP scenario?  Strange, listless performance by POTUS on the weekend of the exuberant Tea Party Convention – the After Obamatantion — in Memphis.  Speaking to John Avlon, author, “Wingnuts,” on Sunday 7, re the energy of the Tea Party.  Eight million jobless creates the energy for creative politics.  Who is Huey Long?  Who is Wendell Willkie?  Where is Fala?

Perhaps because the intent was not so much to shed light on the problem, but to compete in the news cycle with Sarah Palin and the Tea Party event  Otherwise, why would he talk on such a weighty issue without preparation?

If it is in fact to deny Sarah Palin the Tea Party event the news coverage, then he definitely lost.

Obama has never been anything more than campaign rhetoric.  He is a campaigner but his campaign tactics don’t work when people are expecting him to lead.  Many of us knew this during the primaries last year.  Many of us saw through this narcicist.  Obama doesn’t care about anything other than his next election.  The DEM congress is looking for leadership.  Obama as usual is looking for someone to take the blame.

  • FLDemFem

“Obama’s job is safe”  Not necessarily. If we get a good mix of new people in Congress after the elections, they may just decide to dump him asap. He has done plenty of things he can be impeached for, and the rest of the world would cheer us on if we did decide to impeach him. And they would be glad the Americans had finally come to their senses and weaned themselves off Hopium.

  • FLDemFem

Well, he did the interview with Katie Couric before the Superbowl, or so I understand. I didn’t look to see if he was on, am not a football fan and definitely not an Obama fan. So why did he need two things in the media to distract from one “little lady” from Alaska??

I hope the GOP will take Congress and form committees and issue subpoenas and the nation will be able to see the birth certificate, the school records (I’ve seen something from Occidental that states Barry Soetoro registered as an Indonesian student – who knows if it’s true), medical records, and the whole big secret is revealed.  That’s what I hope for.

Here’s the reading on the walls that any sane Dem MUST take note:
    Obama is not dependable.
    Obama is weak and unprincipled.
Obama owe TOO many powerful people with money TOO many favors.
Obama can’t be trusted to make a decision in the interest of the nation.
Obama is so nervous that he behaves like the Dem has 41 seats in the Senate and the House is run by REP.

Obama and Dem in Congress are wasting the best time ever in History to make the best meaningful changes that would benefit Americans. Obama presidency will be the worst ever in history and DEM party has itself to blame, given how they pushed this fraud on America.

Here are the clues:  George Bush is now looking accomplished. Two, Sarah Paline is more creditable to Americans on national security than Obama & company. If that wouldn’t make you quit the DEM party, you are due for a brain scan.

Ayatollah you once, Ayatollah you a thousand times. Obama has kept his medical records back for a variety of reasons. And the joke is gonna be an Axlerove and his minions when they find out Obama’s escape strategy.

Obama has a few extra cards up his sleeve. Will they help the country? Will they help the Democrats? Will they help him? No to all of the above. Obama always has an excuse ready just in case. He’s bored already and everyone can see it. He wanted to know he had a foolproof way to cut class without losing too much face.

When he gets really bored and fed up with the lack of adoration he’ll pull out every school child’s favorite – the doctor’s note. There’s probably a bunch of stuff on his medical record that he could use as an excuse to “step down for the good of the country.” And being the bitter SOB that Obama is, he’ll probably be thinking “These stupid people deserve Joe Biden. They’ll miss me when I’m gone.” (No we won’t)

And he’ll retain his Secret Service protection, write books, consult, do speaking tours, and live the high life that he knows he’s entitled to.

JohnBatchelor says, Powerless, lackadaisical…. Toyota says it will recall Prius because of a slight variation (powerless, lackadaisical) in the brake when the [American] car goes over a bumpy road (such as railroad  tracks I guess). Why? When they as you say have a CIC and SOS that seem to act powerless, lackadaisical on a continuous basis.

John Batchelor says, “there is a storm building in the Democratic majority….” What? China, Russia, Europe, Venezuela, Brazil, etc. seem to seem 100 times larger storms and we have a CIC and SOS that seem powerless, lackadaisical on a continuous basis.

I would be pleased if you are correct.  I was just suggesting that the only job Obama cares about is his own.

  • Mark

We can’t rest until Obama loses his job.  This false messiah needs to have his wings clipped.  Now is the time to step up attacks on Obama from every angle and from every able person.

The democrats need to lose big in November for supporting this clown.  If this happens the Democrats will run from Obama seeing him as the poison he is, straight from Wright’s toxic hell hole.  And for Obama, he will implode.  Obama can not operate unless people are fawning over him.

I don’t think Obama will resign, he hate this country too much.  Instead, he will continue to try his best to screw it up.

  • Docelder

We went to the local Blockbuster today. They are having a going out of business sale. The clerk I was talking to said he would be going on unemployment. He said he has been looking and can’t find another job. On talking with him, he is a college graduate with a degree in computer science and was valedictorian in his class. He had to take the Blockbuster job because there was no computer work even with his college degree. Now, even the Blockbuster is closing for him. But, Obama has his job and Harry and Nancy have their change. Damn us anyway, all of the “chattering class” out here living in the “mess” Obama just inherited. I think we are being destroyed from the inside by design. I really do.It is much worse out here than anybody is acknowledging.

  • Docelder

To reply to myself here, to top it off the Blockbuster clerk said the store that is closing hired an immigrant migrant worker that could speak or understand no English at all to stand on the street with a sign that said “going out of business” How about that one? Didn’t even use the labor force that is about to go jobless to do it. Hired somebody cheaper.

I have no sympathy for the democrats they did it to themselves. obama just signs bills he doesn’t write them. Futhermore I think it’s safe to say after reading Game Change (which i took with a boat load of salt) the democrats never had any intentions of allowing Hillary Clinton to win and were plotting against her  as early as 2006, and would probably have saved her alot of time and money if they had told her so…and it is quite evident one of the largest reason why is because Clinton would have thrown these Pork laden Monstrocities back at Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi and told them to do it over and do it right this time. AS would McCain and Palin had they won. What they wanted was a naive tool who would do their bidding and now that they have written  themselves in to a corner, and Obama has no fresh ideas of his own, nor a desire to stick his neck out for them, now they are pissed.  The worse thing anyone can do is feel bad for these fools the democrats have screwed us out of effective leader ship, to gain more power for themeselves now they are crying because they have to eat the crap sandwihich they made when they put this idiot into office. Democrats thorouhgly disgust me in a way Republicans never have and i don’t think i can for give them for that. AFter eight years of W, I all i wanted was someone who knew what the hell theywere doing. And to know that everyone from Kennedy to Boxer were skeeming to get Obama elected over more qualified people…it make my blood boil. Its not that I adore Hillary, I just knew that she was qualified to do the job and what she didn’t know she could learn.  I also know we would have a lot less people out of work becaus that stimulous would have actually stimulate the economy.  And while i no longer support Universal Health Care, I do think what ever was in the works it wouldh ave been more palitable or she would have made Nancy and Harry Eat all 4000 pages and start over. So what ever happens to the democratic party I personally don’t care nor will I blame Obama, his day is coming and lucky for us Karma is a Bitch with a really nasty bite that comes around every 2 years and i’m enjoying watching her maul congressional democrats.  Pop corn anyone?

  • Newyorkie

The problem for Obama is Obama.  His Me and My Teleprompter routine is getting old and seeing him interviewed 5 times a day is like listening to the sound of nails on a blackboard.  Everything is worse and we are told that because of Obama its not as bad as it could have been.

Maybe he thinks it will bring out his bonifides by warring with the Republicans for the next two years but it will actually show us once and for all that Obama is an arrogant misery who can’t bring anything together except two walls.

Obama will have made many enemies within the Democratic Party if they lose Congress this year so I doubt there will be much enthusiasm for a second term for the man who destroyed the Democratic Party.

  • PizzaDriver

it is exactly right that the big shots in the DNC and the MSM wanted aa tool who would do their bidding, just like junior high school students want an easy teacher who lets them do whatever they want and gives everybody A’s.  Hillary would have been a strict (and competent) boss, but who wants that, right??

  • PizzaDriver

it is true that Obama could benefit if the Congress goes the repugs in nov.   if that happens, a lot of dems and indies who are disappointed in Obama will be able to blame his failures on the republican “obstructionists.”   if the dems retain control of congress, they will have no one but themselves to blame.

The designer was Allan Greenspan. Give him an applause.

  • lark

Wrong. If the sign says “going out of business” then the immigrant worker speaks English. Sorry.

next year obama will start campaigning (has he ever stopped?) for 2012. i think so many people are already sick of seeing and hearing him every single day for the last 2 years, that  the thought of listening to any more of his b/s is  going to be unbearable.  besides, what the hell can he campaign on?  all the good things he has done for the country? how he closed gitmo, ended the war in iraq, made peace with iran, passed healthcare, was transparent about it,   improved the economy, or is he just going to campaign against the republicans and g. bush? sorry but now  that halo of his is tarnished (what can you expect from cheap silverplate) and he has shown he cant be trusted, did not have the experience to lead on day one (or even day 240) as he claimed, does not really care about america, except  for all the perks of his job, and without his totus, he’s a blathering idiot. now that most folks are on to him,  i doubt he’d want the humiliation of losing the 2012 election.  in either case its bye bye obama.

  • bamaLV

and we didnt even  get a dinner before he screwed us.

“We are now beginning to climb up out of the hole that we have dug ourselves in”?  It looks to me like we are just digging, perhaps a little bit slower, as long as we continue to loose jobs.
Of course, now that we have determined that those who are so discouraged that they are no longer looking for work anymore are also no longer “unemployed,” we can pretty much convince ourselves of anythig.

  • Docelder

One thing these New Democrats are capable of is blaming somebody else. It is their only skill set so far. That and wasting money.
