Tonight’s questions include:

  • Did the Persians create the first battery in 250 B.C.?
  • Was radar discovered during the Second World War by a scientist who was trying to develop a ‘death ray’?
  • What about the undertaker who invented the first telephone exchange to drum up business?

Rick Beyer has worked with the History Channel, National Geographic, Smithsonian and A& E.

His latest book “The Greatest Science Stories Never Told” is the fourth volume in the popular ‘Greatest Stories’ history series.
