The funny thing is the U.S. is actually fighting to get the one world order spoken by Bush 1 many years ahead of Laden and Laden is only a disconnected element. Circumstances in the U.S. have changed dramatically and the world as such may not be interested anymore in a one world order a la U.S. would want to. More of a one world order with the U.S. maybe as an observer. Things are changing for us fast. Now Toyota needs to recall 9 million automobiles because the U.S. drivers can't deal with 'so called' defects. Everything is a crisis in our country. The world may decide to continue without us. The Dems had no other choice and the pressure from the Left is mitigated.  Or so the reasoning goes.
