Aside from cherry-picking his “facts”, this is nothing more than a slight-of-hand trick. The FULL fact is he was also raised by his Indonesian step dad, who’s obviously NOT white–this is the cherry-picking part. For those who are dumb, i.e. obamabots, cherry-picking is a form of LYING.

A slight-of-hand trick is here too since if one is not aware of the deliberate cherry-picking, then Barry is really saying he is WHITE. “WHITE AMERICA, LISTEN UP! I’M WHTIE. VOTE FOR ME, I’M ENTITLED!” (To borrow that race-baiting Father Flegger’s slander of Hillary.)

From poker or shell games, a slight-of-hand trick is done so fast that even if you’re closely watching a con man’s hands (in this case, listening to Obama’s words) the entire time, you still can’t see that he’s just pulled a fast one. Obama has excellent control of his language and words–particularly for machiavellian purposes of pulling the wool over people’s eyes.

Barack O’Bullshit always seems to go out of his way to forget to mention his dark skinned Kenyan relatives, particularly his father, even though one of his best selling memoirs was supposedly inspired by. He also goes out of his way NOT to mention his dark skinned Indonesian relatives, including his half-Indonesian sister.

He’s not just “talking white” as Nader correctly sees, nor just “talking down to blacks” as Jesse Jackson also correctly asserts, but he’s marketing himself as a WHITE guy.

On stage and in commercials, he constantly surrounds himself with folksy white folk. During primaries, it was white women. (NOTE: The corporate media was deliberately helping Obama with the white women’s vote by constantly portraying him the way he wanted to be portrayed in the pimaries wherein he was constantly introduced, hugged and kissed by white women. Now, the corporate media is helping McCain by increasingly showing Obama surrounded by blacks doing that “terrorist fist bump”. This was the plan all along.)

It was truly ironic that during the Pennsylvania Primary on MSNBC (probably Olbermann or on Hardball) a pundit citing a “scholar” said that Obama was being turned black by the Clinton campaign and the media. BULLSHIT. On the contrary, Obama turned Hillary and Bill into a pair of white-robed-wearing, noose-wielding, cross-burning Klansmen, effectively stealing the once loyal and adoring black vote from her. Since Hillary had no way of getting the black vote back for the primaries, she naturally had to make up the deficit by increasing all other demographics, notably amongst hispanics and whites. (Asians and probably Native Americans too also overwhelmingly supported Hillary–something the corporate media always tried to downplay as they were greedily helping Obama race-bait both Clintons, destroying the Clinton brand.)

Truth is Obama was playing the race/victim card to get both the black vote and liberal white vote. That is, to white liberals and African Americans, he was posing as the black Chicago community activist–who was naturally the victim of white racists, i.e Hillary, Bill, Geraldine Ferraro, Ed Rendell, etc. This component of his strategy was done by surrogates.

But to the working class whites, he was constantly portraying himself as the hardworking (not too black but underneath indeed truly) white guy from Kansas with a white “single mom” and white grandparents and white supporters. This component of his strategy, he did himself on stage and in TV ads which were conspicuously filled almost exclusively with LILY WHITE PEOPLE.

Obama loves to play good cop/bad cop. When asked is is Hillary or McCain playing the race-card, he always says no. But behind the scenes, it is THE CENTRAL PART of his strategy.

Another such example of his incessant use of slight-of-hand tricks was his so-called “great race speech” vis-a-vis Jeremiah Wright. This speech was nothing more than THE GREAT RACE-BAIT speech.

The point about Jeremiah Wright was simply that Wright is a racist doucebag–and should have been condemned immediately, rather than defended. But some how, Obama pulled a “Don’t Mess With Texas!” He falsely and deliberately equated the condemnation of Wright and leaving Trinity Church to abandoning the black community or to throwing his “typical white” grandmother under the bus. BULLSHIT! NO ONE IS SUGGESTING THAT OBAMA ABANDON THE BLACK COMMUNITY, or disregard the deepest of family ties. EVERYONE ONLY WANTED HIM TO DO WHAT IS RIGHT AND THAT WAS SIMPLY TO CONDEMN RACIST BIGOTS like Wright.

With total moral clarity, Obama threw Don Imus under the bus–which was the right thing to do, when that scandal broke. Yet when it came to Wright, he defended Wright. All that initial garbage about “I condemn the words but not the man…” , was nothing more than an OUTRIGHT DEFENSE OF WRIGHT. THIS IS CLEARLY EVIDENCED BY THE FACT THAT ABOUT 6 WEEKS LATER, HE OUTRIGHT CONDEMNED WRIGHT AND ABOUT 2 WEEKS AFTER THAT, HE LEFT TRINITY CHURCH. W.r.t race, Wright was still saying the same hateful garbage, and Trinity was still the same church. The only thing that changed was that Wright was now openly calling Obama a typical pandering politician with no firm beliefs and who was just out to get votes–from whites.

Question: Why is it when he defends Wright, he dubiously links Wright and Trinity to the black community in general, in an inseparable way? Poor Barry, he can’t condemn Wright, b’coz that means he would be condemning all of black America, i.e. “DON’T MESS WITH TEXAS! And certainly, DON’T MESS WITH BLACKS!” But when he flat out condemn’s Wright as someone who “exploits the divisions of the past” (i.e. Wright’s a race-baiter), then suddenly there is now NO connection with the black community at large? And naturally Barack O’Bullshit’s throwing of Wright and Trinity under the bus is therefore now NOT an abandoning the black community. WTF?!?

Recall that in 2000, Bush pulled his “Don’t mess with Texas!” line, i.e. slight-of-hand scam, when Gore was trashing Bush’s policies in Texas. “Don’t mess with Texas!” brazenly implied that Gore was trashing not Bush’s policies, but Texas and Texans themselves!!!!

Thus, when Obama brazenly equated both Wright and Trinity to the black community in general, he was saying: “White people of America, listen up! To condemn Wright and Trinity is RACIST!” Nevermind that both Wright and Trinity are without question racist to begin with. THIS IS PURE AND UNADULTERATED RACE-BAITING OF THE MOST MACHIAVELLIAN KIND.

If that is not grotesque enough, then also keep in mind so much of the mythical Obama legend which not only willfully ignorant African Americans but naive Starbucks-latte-drinking white liberals so deeply cherish, comes directly from this GREAT RACE-BAIT SPEECH. Naturally, the bots still see that dubious and self-serving speech as “the great race speech”. Naturally, they also think “typical white person” doesn’t violate Dr. King’s wisdom: “Judge a man by the content of his character, rather than then color of his skin.”

Another one of my favorite Obama slight of hand tricks was his “I wan’t to bring change… I don’t take money from oil companies!” The implication here is that everyone else does, i.e all those corrupt white politicians do, and in particular, Hillary does. The problem? As Bill Clinton pointed out, nobody does. It’s been illegal to take money from oil companies for 100 years. “I don’t take money from oil companies is is a loaded claim–as brazen as it is dubious. If the subtext is race, then Obama is saying that only I, the black man, will not take money from oil companies, unlike those corrupt whites, unlike Hillary–only I can bring change to Washington.

Once again, Obama plays the race card in a very subtle way that flies right under-the-radar for those who don’t pay attention. Because the subtext of the primary process is also gender, he was actually also gender baiting, since he was running ads with this loaded claim when only He and Hillary were both in the race.

Again, Obama is quite the slippery bullshit artist.

Besides cherry-picking (or telling half-truths) and slight-of-hands tricks, Obama also incessantly engages in other forms of lying such as flip-flopping and bait-n-switch, non-sequitur logic and so on.

The best liars include elements of truth in their lies. Similarly, the best flip-floppers leave wiggle room. Lies which don’t include elements of truth are easily picked out thereby easily exposing the liar. This is why the best liars include elements of truth. Duh!

Now, when it comes to flip-flopping, wiggle room (or the “fine print”, if you will) is the key successfully pulling the wool over people’s eyes: For if and when people accuse you of flip-flopping, you can always condescendingly say, “Hey, you weren’t listening. I did say that we should always listen to the commanders on the ground in Iraq, did I not?” Or you can also condescendingly say: “My position of public financing has always been consistent since I’ve always maintained that the most corrupting influence in campaigns is from oil companies and lobbyists.” [Paraphrasing both times.]

I think Aldoph Reed put it best when he commented on Obama’s incessant lying, which also applies to his incessant flip-flopping and incessant lying about never flip-flopping: “Obama’s style of being all things to all people threatens to melt under the inescapable spotlight of a national campaign against a Republican. It’s like what brings on the downfall of really successful con artists: They get themselves onto a stage that’s SO BIG that they can’t hide their contradictions anymore, and everyone finds out about the different stories they’ve told different people.”

I am tired of hearing him whine about how bad he suffered because he was raised by a “single mom”. My kids are damned lucky I took them and ran and they have never resented not have their father around. They know they were better off, and I never said a word about him. By all accounts Obama’s dad makes my ex look like a saint.

My kids had more love and attention than any two parent household I’ve seen lately. I never missed a ballgame, teacher conference, concert or any other important function. We ate supper together every night, they were in 4H and every sport they wanted to participate in. Three kids all playing baseball in the summer can be a real nerve wracking experience. As soon as they got big enough we started chore lists and took turns, giving us more time for fishing and camping. They are strong and independent. In fact my kids are much more self-reliant than most of their friends.

I am not the exception. I know many single parents who are as good as or better parents than a lot of couples. One parent can do a good job raising children, it takes dedication and work. I am goddamned tired of this whole attitude that single parents are “less” or somehow cheating our kids. We are usually single for a good reason.

Yes his mom was single when he was really young, but I do not buy that they were destitute and on food stamps. I cannot believe his grandparents would have allowed their only child and grandchild to live in poverty. This does not smell right.
