I agree whole heartedly, I would have liked to have seen the real rollcall vote not this big show to make obama more than he is. So much for wanting young people to be involved. Here was an opportunity for people to seen how our process works and they failed us. The voice of the democratic base was not heard but we got the message from the democratic leadership loud and clear. they made their pick and have pushed him on us all along. I was shocked and offended by the rollcall they should have just not had it if they were going to not allow all the states to publicly vote. I watched that crap only to have it cut short before my state even came up. Trying to force me to accept obama is not going to make me like him just because they have made others step up and say they think he is ready when he obviously is not. if he was he would be able to prove it on his own not have to make others endorse him, without others driving him forward he goes no where which is why i have concerns about him as POTUS. Sorry this roll call changed nothing

Democracyfirst, you said that you support McCain as a person of character!! This is man who cheated on his first wife with his second wife because his wife was hurt and disfigured in accident. This same wife who kept him going when he was a P.O.W. What character does he have?!!Let’s not even mention the Keating 5.

Hillary and Obama’s policies were exactly the same! How do you support hers, but disagree with his? I am all for voting for who you want, but to vote for McCain because you are pissed that Hillary lost, is that really a wise decision? Have you been listening to McCain at all? He has no plan for America. If you don’t want to vote for Obama, then vote for Ralph Nader. McCain is Bush, but you would rather go through another 4/8 years of the mess that we have been going through for the past 8, then cast your vote for McCain. God help America if McCain wins in 08.

Read between the lines – if enough SDs do this, Hillary will get the nomination. Rendell is playing along. If he and Hillary are correct – she will be the next POTUS.

I agree with you. I’ve lived under a Rendell regime for a good portion of my earthly life. If nothing else, he’s a politician who knows how to win.He’s telegraphing to the other SDs to go ahead and vote HRC.
How many SDs are currently horrified at the Obama campaign trainwreck? You know Rendell is, he called this Obama disaster during the primaries.

You’ve got to be kidding.

He’s my governor too, and he was my mayor when I lived in Philadelphia. Rendell’s first concern is his own personal ambition. Why do you think he backed Hillary? Because he stated that Obama was unelectable. He wanted to be on the winning side. Wasn’t he DNC chair, but he didn’t last long because he didn’t finesse his public pronouncements?

If he’s for the party, it’s because life as a Dem party standard bearer has been berry berry good to him.

And I disagree with your comment that the roll call won’t get to PA.
