In other words, we're all racists and shouldn't bother our little heads about ones qualifications. That was enough for me -- won't go back there until the next Olympics. They were saying things weren't happening fast enough ( true ) but I reminded them that if they were to step back and compare their movement to the civil rights movement....Socio/political evolution had happened on an incredibly fast pace...... I said in just under 1/2 of an average life time ( mine and I'm 48 ) Gays have gone from being underground and undiscussed....to living in the suburbs with children and being married in some states and being on TeeVee......I said it is truly a remarkable achievement. Then we laughed. Sometimes it takes a step back to look at how far you have come to see things in perspective. IMHO HUMAN RIGHTS are a devinely Just Cause......These will always win out in a democracy and are the first to be eradicated in FASCIST totalitarianism.....
